The paper presents structure of 8-bit RISC microcontroller with 16-bit address bus called OctaLynx. The processor behavior is described by Verilog hardware description language and was fabricated as ASIC in CMOS LF 0.15 m (1.8 V) technology. Before fabrication FPGA tests were run. The integrated circuit consists of the core and some peripherals (8-bit general purpose input-output ports, timers/counters, USART, SPI).The controller was designed for tests of the dynamic power management systems.
Artykuł prezentuje strukturę 8-bitowego mikrokontrolera typu RISC z 16-bitową magistralą adresową nazwanego OctaLynx. Procesor został zaprojektowany z użyciem języka opisu sprzętu Verilog oraz sfabrykowany jako układ ASIC w technologii CMOS LF 0,15 m (1,8 V). Przed fabrykacją wykonane zostały testy w układzie FPGA. Zbudowany układ scalony składa się z jądra i peryferiów (8-bitowych portów I/O, liczników, SPI, USART). Kontroler przeznaczony jest do testów systemów dynamicznego zarządzania mocą w układzie.

Opis:
A scheme has been developed to be utilized for solving the interaction between wing aerodynamic loads and the flexibility of wing structures under a quasi static assumption. The interaction is implemented through a link between the nodes of finite element model and the grids of transonic small disturbance model. The particular finite element responses, namely translational displacement vectors (TDV), are utilised for reconstructing the deflected wing surfaces. So in each iteration, the updated surfaces are involved as the parent for regenerating the TSD grids. The criteria of the Euclidean norm is applied for evaluating the convergency of aero-structure interaction. Catia-V5, is fully employed to manage three dimensional geometries for developing the model of wing structures, calculating grids and aerodynamic loads, as well as for reconstructing the updated wing surfaces. Numerous functions and objects of Catia are employed by conducting particular accesses via component object models using Microsoft Visual Basic.Net. A case study is excersized to demonstrate the interaction in transonic speed. The results shown that the scheme is very good in the way performing the interaction in quasi static condition. The utilization of TDV for generating the deflected wing surfaces indicates the capability of high fidelity deformations with respect to the complexity of finite element model

The paper presents selected aspects of a design of a proecological transport system. The necessity of designing proecological transport systems results from forecasts of transport demand and adaptation of the infrastructure to the standards and requirements of the EU. The European Commission pays special attention to the need for sustainable and environmentally friendly transport. Warsaw University of Technology in collaboration with Poznan University of Technology performs a research work concerning the development of an environmentally friendly transport system - Project EMITRANSYS. One of its stages is a development of a mathematical model taking into account the minimization of both the negative impact of transport on the environment and the transportation costs. The paper proposes a general formulation of the mathematical model of a proecological transport system (MEST) including the boundary conditions. A function of criterion minimizes the emission of harmful exhaust components resulting from traffic distribution in a network. The point elements of the infrastructure in a model represent places where the infrastructure parameters change, i.e. crossroads, narrowed roads or reduced speed areas. In addition, the structure of the vehicle fleet embraces the characteristics of the emission levels of different types of exhaust components.

The article presents an application of queuing theory (mass service) to describe transportation process. It presents the essential concepts of the queuing theory. The process of moving a load unit through the logistics centre was presented. To illustrate the issues an example of five-level, two-input queuing networks was examined.
W artykule przedstawiono zastosowanie teorii kolejek (masowej obsługi) do opisu procesu transportowego. W artykule zaprezentowano najistotniejsze pojęcia dotyczące teorii kolejek. Przedstawiono proces przemieszczania jednostki ładunkowej w centrum logistycznym. Dla zilustrowania zagadnienia przeanalizowano przykład dwuwejściowej, pięciostopniowej sieci kolejkowej.

In the assumptions, regarding to the transport policy both at the level of country and Europe there is the concept of sustainable development of transport. Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with Poznan University of Technology performs research work concerning the shaping of environmentally friendly transport system – Project EMITRANSYS. In this project, one of the conditions is to reduce exhaust emissions by means of transport. The paper presents the reasons for the testing of the exhaust emissions under Real Driving Emissions testing (RDE). Research potential of Institute of Combustion Engines and Transport at Poznan University of Technology in the area of road testing of passenger and heavy-duty vehicles has been presented in the paper. Example test results have been shown in the aspect of the emission-related classification of vehicles. The major challenge of worldwide emission standards, engine operating parameters in various emissions tests, the test potential under real operating conditions, the view of the analyser for on-road emission testing of vehicles, the test results for road emission of CO, HC and NOx, detailed characteristics of the averaged particle number for the entire test run (vehicles with different mileage and different emission class) for: Euro 4 class and 75,000 km; Euro 4 class and 500,000 km; Euro 5 class and 75,000 km; Euro 5 class and 500,000 km are presented in the paper.

Opis:
Points of distribution, sales or service are important elements of the supply chain. These are the final elements which are responsible for proper functioning of the whole cargo distribution process. Proper location of these points in the transport network is essential to ensure the effectiveness and reliability of the supply chain. The location of these points is very important also from the consumers point of view. In this paper developed method of points location was present on the example of urban transport network. The developed approach is based on the Vehicle Routing Problem in the multistage distribution systems. The proposed method uses a genetic algorithm. Article also presents a mathematical model of delivery cost as a criterion function. The article presents an example calculations which illustrating the operation of the developed method.

The paper is a result of a research work concerning the development of an environmentally friendly transport system - Project EMITRANSYS. The publication contains the issues of shaping the transport system, where important factor due to the aspect of sustainable development is including the external costs in transport activity. This paper presents a mathematical model of the distribution of the traffic flow in the transport network. The paper presents selected aspects of the problem of multi-variant distribution of the traffic stream on the network transport for defined scenarios for the transport system development. Traffic distribution on the network has been made due to the criterion function – external cost connected with air pollution. The paper presents modal split of traffic ecological flow for chosen scenarios of the development domestic transport system.

The paper presents selected aspects of the evaluation of the effectiveness and risks of the logistics chain that supports the enterprise. It was assumed that the logistics chain includes all activities associated with the flow of materials from the sourcing of raw materials for sale to the ultimate purchaser of the product and the disposal of used products. It was found that the elements of the supply chain are usually unstable which generates difficulties in determining the appropriate level of the risk of the chain. The paper presents a formal record of risk and performance. There is proposed determination of the effectiveness of individual links of the logistics chain. The task of the logistics chain is to provide goods from producers to the final customers, thereby making available these goods in a place and time suited to the needs and expectations of customers. The movement of goods in the logistics chains is determined by the sequence of interrelated actions. In the logistics chains, many entities are involved to different extents. This determines the spatial distribution of different configuration of individual users of the whole logistics chain. In particular, example of a logistics chain of production company, stages of the procedures for quantitative risk analysis, the problems in the logistics chains, assessment of the risk of the task in the logistics chain, the concept of risk, effectiveness and risk in logistics chains are presented in the paper.

The paper is a result of research work carried out under the project EMITRANSYS for shaping ecological transport system. The paper presents selected aspects of emission and concentration of harmful compounds of exhaust gases generated by road transport. It also presents the share of harmful compounds emitted by road transport in comparison with the emission from other sectors of economy. Transport policy should encourage the usage of energyefficient and less environmentally damaging modes of transport and their efficient use. The paper analyses the emissions of selected pollutants and their estimated contribution to the total emissions of road transport. It also presents selected aspects of the identification of areas with the highest emissions of harmful compounds in Poland against the European Union. This analysis provides a basis to identify the instruments to prevent and reduce pollution arising from transport activities. In particular, variable emission of selected components of fumes according to the velocity of passenger vehicle. the measured values for NO2 concentration in the UE countries in 2011, the measured values for CO concentration in UE countries in 2011, the measured values for PM10 concentration in UE countries in 2011, the measured values for PM2.5 concentration in UE countries in 2011 are presented in the paper.

With the invention of specialized, portable research equipment, construction of which enabled road tests of vehicles, it has become possible to verify benefits ensuing from application of eco-driving rules outside the laboratory – the test stand measurements. Test of the vehicles’ operation in terms of ecology are essential especially in case of toxicity of exhaust gases in dynamic, transient conditions of engine operation. Despite the attempt to reflect those conditions in dynamic research tests, it is not possible for fully reconstruct real conditions of operation of vehicles of different homologation categories. Due to this fact in recent years, the biggest research potential in automotive industry has been focused right on the road tests of vehicles in real traffic conditions. The article presents the results of measurements of exhaust emissions of passenger car in real traffic conditions. The aim of this study was to initial verification how the driving style influences on the carbon dioxide emissions from vehicle engine and fuel consumption. The determinants were the measurements of the concentration of CO2 emitted to the atmosphere from the power unit of the tested vehicle. In the measurements, a portable exhaust emission analyser was used.

The article is a result of research work carried out under the project EMITRANSYS for shaping ecological transport system. The paper presents selected aspects of multi-variant distribution of traffic into transport network for defined scenarios of transport system development. Distribution of traffic on the network is made due to the global criterion function. Partial criteria for distribution of traffic are: external costs, marginal costs and average costs of the transport services expressed in monetary units and in emission units. An important aspect of the development of transport network is to include the external costs of transport activity to economical counting. The harmful components of exhaust gases, external costs for each mode of transport, list of selected external costs for each mode of transport [eurocents/vehicle-km], structure of communication between Warsaw - Gdansk, characteristics of connections in the communication network between Warsaw and Gdansk, distribution of passengers stream in relation Warsaw – Gdansk, the distribution of the passengers stream in relation Warsaw – Gdansk for the second scenario according to criterion of average and marginal costs are presented in the paper.

W artykule zaprezentowana została aktualna postać punktowa charakterystyki „tąpaniowo-energetycznej”, wyznaczona na podstawie archiwalnych danych dotyczących wstrząsów i tąpnięć zarejestrowanych w Górnośląskim Zagłębiu Węglowym (GZW) w latach 1999-2013. Punktowa charakterystyka „tąpaniowo-energetyczna” w całej pracy interpretowana jest jako warunkowe, średnie prawdopodobieństwo tąpnięcia P(T|E≥E1) , gdzie warunek stanowi wystąpienie wstrząsu o energii E większej od pewnej przyjętej wartości energii E1, natomiast średnie, ponieważ jest to wartość średnia zmiennej losowej i podkreśla to symbol kreski nad tą zmienną. W pracy zaprezentowano charakterystyki dla okresów pięcioletnich oraz dziesięcioletnich, których graficzna postać przedstawia zmienną w czasie zależność pomiędzy liczbą wstrząsów a liczbą tąpnięć.
This paper presents the current version of point rockburst-energy characteristics, defined on the basis of the archival tremors and rockburst data registered in the Upper Silesian Coal Basin (GZW) during 1999-2013. In this paper, point rockburst-energy characteristics are interpreted as the conditional, average probability of rockburst, where the occurrence with energy tremor E, larger than the assumed value of energy, is the condition, average because it is an average value of a random variable and it is highlighted with a line symbol under this variable. The paper presents rockburst-energy characteristics for periods of five and ten years, which present a time-changed relationship between the number of tremors and the number of rockburst in graphical form.

The article presents certain aspects of decision of effective management of supply chains organized for companies. Companies service issues have been identified both in the supply and distribution area. Were defined factors affecting the organization of operating in various spheres of companies. It was pointed out that the basic functions directly related to the core business of companies resulting from the industry, the size and the conditions of competition, e.g. for the production facility, it could be manufacturing process itself, while for the commercial company implementation of marketing strategies and building brand image. The paper also presents the factors affecting the costs and benefits companies interested in outsourcing their logistics providers of comprehensive services. Inter alia the essence of the supply chain functioning, integrated management model of supply chain network including flow of stream of goods and flow of stream of information, objectives of supply chain management, decisions of effective supply chain management concerning on minimizing cost of logistics services and high level of quality of delivery services, performance evaluation measures of processes in the supply chain are presented in the paper.

This paper presents some approach for the formulation of the decision-making model in supporting the assessment of supply chain efficiency. Were presented factors affecting the efficiency of the functioning of individual links of supply chain. The paper presents an approach to the assessment of the location of facilities in the warehouse logistics network with the efficiency of its operations. Determination of efficiency of complex systems of this type should take into account wide range of issues. The system efficiency results on the one hand from the efficiency of its action and on the other hand from the ability to use available system elements to achieve the objectives. Efficiency is a main criterion to the evaluation of the activity both at the level of the whole system, as well as in its subsystems or components. Most often, it refers to the principle of rational management formulated in two variants: performance (maximization effect) and economical (minimizing effort). The article poses the thesis that based on studies of speed and reliability of execution of tasks it is possible to assess the potential locations of warehouse facilities in the studied logistics network. Were also presented factors affecting the efficiency of the functioning of individual cells of the logistics network. Was pointed to the technical, economic, organizational and reliability aspects affecting the efficiency and reliability of the logistics network in terms of both supply and distribution. It was also presented a modular block diagram of an assessment method for localizing logistics facilities in the logistics network.
