Opis:
The time passed in the urgency zone of a hospital is really important, and the quick evaluation and selection of the patients who arrive to this area is essential to avoid waste of time and help the patients in a higher emergency level. The triage, an evaluation and classification structured system, allows to manage the urgency level of the patient; it is based on the vital signs measures and clinical data of the patient. The goal is making the classification in the shortest possible time and with a minimal error percentage. Levels are allocated according to the concept that what is urgent is not always serious and that what is serious is not always urgent. In this work, we present a computational algorithm that evaluates the patients within the fever symptomatic category, we use fuzzy logic and decision trees to collect and analyze simultaneously the vital signs and the clinical data of the patient through a graphical interface; so that the classification can be more intuitive and faster. Fuzzy logic allows us to process data and take a decision based on incomplete information or uncertain values, decision trees are structures or rules sets that classify the data when we have several variables.

Opis:
Although tracks of dinosaurs are well known from Upper Jurassic sediments, tracks of non−dinosaurian vertebrates are fairly rare. The Upper Jurassic Lastres Formations of Asturias in northern Spain contain many vertebrate tracksites that include footprints and trackways of non−dinosaurian tetrapods. Several of these tracks are natural casts of pentadactyl to tridactyl footprints with digits connected by arched structures. The digits are short with deep scratch marks oriented anteriorly. The Asturian tracks show a high degree of morphological similarity to other specimens previously described as possible turtle tracks. Observations from extant turtle trackways show some surprising similarities with the fossil material. The tracks are here interpreted as having been made by turtles partially buoyed by water or by turtles walking in a slightly wet subaerial environment.

Opis:
In this article we report the retention of two dialkyl alkylphosphonates and a phosphoramidate in a polybutadiene-based polyurethane rubber matrix. Two dialkyl akylphosphonates, which are degradation products of nerve chemical weapons agent (CWA) and a phosphoramidate, were tested in this study for penetration into the rubber matrix. They are often used as a symulant of CWA. One of the dialkyl alkylphosphonates and the phosphoramidate were synthesized and the rubber matrix was challenger with these chemicals for retention and penetration using three different thickness of barrier material. Under the experimental conditions tested, no penetration of chemical simulants on the rubber was observed. Our results suggested that this polyurethane matrix could be a potential barrier material for protection against CWA.
Opisano zatrzymywanie dwóch dialkiloalkilofosfonianow i fosforoamidu w gumie polbutadienowopoliuretanowej.

More than forty specimens from the middle Cambrian Burgess Shale reveal the detailed anatomy of Isoxys, a worldwide distributed bivalved arthropod represented here by two species, namely Isoxys acutangulus and Isoxys longissimus. I. acutangulus had a non−mineralized headshield with lateral pleural folds (= “valves” of previous authors) that covered the animal’s body almost entirely, large frontal spherical eyes and a pair of uniramous prehensile appendages bearing stout spiny outgrowths along their anterior margins. The 13 following appendages had a uniform biramous design—i.e., a short endopod and a paddle−like exopod fringed with marginal setae with a probable natatory function. The trunk ended with a flap−like telson that protruded beyond the posterior margin of the headshield. The gut of I. acutangulus was tube−like, running from mouth to telson, and was flanked with numerous 3D−preserved bulbous, paired features interpreted as digestive glands. The appendage design of I. acutangulus indicates that the animal was a swimmer and a visual predator living off−bottom. The general anatomy of Isoxys longissimus was similar to that of I. acutangulus although less information is available on the exact shape of its appendages and visual organs. I. longissimus is characterized by extremely long anterior and posterior spines. There are now seven Isoxys species known with soft−part preservation, I. acutangulus, I. longissimus from the Burgess Shale, I. auritus and I. curvirostratus from the Maotianshan Shale of China, I. communis and I. glaessneri from the Emu Bay Shale of Australia and I. volucris from Sirius Passet in Greenland. The frontal appendages of Isoxys strongly resemble those of other Cambrian arthropods, characterized by a single pair of “great appendages” with a shared prehensile function yet some variability in length and shape.

Opis:
The Leanchoiliidae is well−known from abundant material of Leanchoilia, from the Burgess Shale and Chengjiang Konservat−Lagerstätten. The first Australian member of the group is Oestokerkus megacholix gen. et sp. nov., described from the Emu Bay Shale (Cambrian Series 2, Stage 4), at Buck Quarry, Kangaroo Island, South Australia, and is intermediate in age between the well known leanchoiliid species from the Burgess Shale and Chengjiang. Phylogenetic analysis of “short great appendage” arthropods (Megacheira) in the context of the chelicerate stem group resolves the Australian species as sister to Burgess Shale, Utah, and Chengjiang Leanchoilia species, but most readily distinguished from Leanchoilia and Alalcomenaeus by a different telson shape, interpreted as being forked, widening distally, and with a few dorsally curved spines at the posterior angle. Leanchoiliid interrelationships are stable to alternative character weights, and Megacheira corresponds to a clade in most analyses.

Opis:
In this work we present the design and the manufacturing processes, as well as the acoustics standard- ization tests, of an acoustic barrier formed by a set of multi-phenomena cylindrical scatterers. Periodic arrangements of acoustic scatterers embedded in a fluid medium with different physical properties are usually called Sonic Crystals. The multiple scattering of waves inside these structures leads to attenuation bands related to the periodicity of the structure by means of Bragg scattering. In order to design the acoustic barrier, two strategies have been used: First, the arrangement of scatterers is based on fractal geometries to maximize the Bragg scattering; second, multi-phenomena scatterers with several noise con- trol mechanisms, as resonances or absorption, are designed and used to construct the periodic array. The acoustic barrier reported in this work provides a high technological solution in the field of noise control.

This paper is a cross-sectional study on the use of Internet and Online Social Networks in the Spanish hotel sector compared to Spanish companies in other sectors. The conclusions from this extensive survey are that the use of online social networks is more important and is more developed in the hotel sector than in Spanish companies in general. However, although it gives considerable importance to online social networks, the hotel sector needs to revise its rules of usage. The use of new tools such as e-commerce to sell the hotel stays must increase, and marketing efforts should be geared more towards online social networks because the hotel sector is currently losing ground in a market that generates more and more potential clients and sales by the day.

The results of the measurements of temperature dependence of the electrical resistivity ρ(T), thermal expansion L(T) and susceptibility χ(T) on single crystal DyNi$\text{}_{5}$ in the temperature range 4.2-300 K are reported. The maximum in ρ(T) at T$\text{}_{N}$=12.2 K was observed which corresponds to the transition to antiferromagnetically ordered state. Taking into account the Bloch-Grüneisen formula for electron-phonon contribution ρ$\text{}_{ph}$(T) to ρ(T) the anisotropic magnetic contribution ρ$\text{}_{mag}$(T) was determined. We also observed the anisotropic behaviour of L(T) at low temperatures.
