Opis:: W artykule opisano udaną próbę wykorzystania Internetu do przygotowania i poprowadzenia kursu w modelu hybrydowym. Przygotowane materiały dydaktyczne wraz z układem testów samosprawdzających pozwalają studentom na samodzielne zrozumienie i opanowanie materiału w ramach kursu otwartego. Równolegle prowadzony jest kurs z rejestracją studentów, na poziomie wyższym, oceniony w punktacji na 4 ECTS. Studentom zapewnia się kontakt z prowadzącym i konsultacje. Studenci otrzymują indywidualne zadania projektowe. Ocena projektów jest składnikiem końcowej oceny. Warunkiem koniecznym zaliczenia kursu jest zdanie egzaminu w czasie zjazdu.
The paper describes a successful attempt at utilizing the internet to prepare and conduct a hybrid course. The prepared teaching materials as well as the arrangement of self-tests enable the student to understand and master the material within an online course without any assistance. There is a parallel course, with 4 ECTS credits assigned to it, conducted on a higher level that the students register for. The students can contact the instructor; tutorials are also provided. The students receive individual project tasks. The evaluation of the projects is a part of the final grade. It is also necessary for the students to pass an exam during a class.

Opis:: Warsaw School of Computer Science has launched a multi-annual MOOC project “IT School” to prepare and open on-line a number of popular courses and other materials in the area of “basics of computer knowledge” for students of secondary level. The main objective of the project “IT School” is to popularize basic knowledge of computer technology, to encourage young people to study in the field of Information Technology and thus facilitate the study of the core courses. In the framework of Project twelve online courses was prepared and opened with particular care in preparing self-assessment tests, allowing students to check the level of understanding of the learning material after each course (http://www.it-szkola.edu.pl). The final test assesses student knowledge and its completion allows to receive a certificate. The education technology used for preparing the lectures is explained in this paper in details.

Opis:: The principle of operation and the general parameters of the electro-optical Mach-Zehnder modulators are reminded in the paper. With the use of the mathematical relationships describing the transmission of the optical signal through the modulator, the theoretical model of the optical signal transmission with two modulating signals at two frequencies will be presented. The theoretical relationships describing the efficiency of the optical-microwave mixing and frequency multiplying in the two-tone operation will be derived. The analysis and the simulations will be performed for different operating points, where the nonlinearity of the transmission characteristic is specially strong.

Opis:: The most important optical devices which can be used for controlling microwave circuits will be presented in the paper. The performance and the parameters of the devices such as semiconductor microwave optoelectronic switches, photodiodes and phototransistors were described. Opis:: W artykule opisano badania własne, których celem była ocena dielektrycznych właściwości komórkowych elementów krwi człowieka w zakresie częstotliwości mikrofalowych (0,5-5,5) GHz. W badaniach wykorzystano metodę otwartej linii współosiowej do pomiaru przenikalności elektrycznej krwi. W toku doświadczeń stwierdzono istnienie zależności pomiędzy liczbą erytrocytów we krwi a przenikalnością elektryczną. Zaobserwowano spadek wartości przenikalności elektrycznej ze wzrostem liczby erytrocytów we krwi w całym zakresie pomiarowym. Jednocześnie zauważono brak korelacji pomiędzy liczbą leukocytów we krwi (w zakresie prawidłowych wartości liczby krwinek białych) a przenikalnością elektryczną.
The purpose of the presented work was the assessment of the dielectrical properties of the human blood cell elements in the microwave frequency range (0,5-5,5) GHz. In study was used of the open-ended coaxial method for measurement of electrical permittivity of the blood. It was observed that the amount of red blood cells changed the blood permittivity. Increasing of the red cells numbers decreases the blood permittivity, but influence of the white blood cells on the blood permittivity can be neglected.

W dydaktyce, wirtualne laboratorium jest elementem wspomagającym proces kształcenia, dostępnym w sposób ciągły zarówno w sensie miejsca, jak i czasu, oferującym funkcje platformy LCMS oraz możliwość dostępu do rzeczywistego sprzętu pomiarowo-sterującego. W referacie omówiono problemy, cele i zasady prowadzenia eksperymentu z wykorzystaniem platformy wirtualnego laboratorium. Zaprezentowana zostanie architektura platformy.
Nearly avalanche expansion of the information and communication technology (ICT) strongly influenced many domains of our lives and opened up new prospects for the creators of modern measuring and control systems, platforms for remote access and didactic process. In order to build a remote laboratory an appropriate software and hardware must be used, in conjunction with the relevant telecommunication media. In the field of metrology the goal of using a remote laboratory in teaching process is that it releases a course participant from the constraints of place and time of the experiment. Remote laboratory offers the functions of managing the process of teaching and managing the educational content. It also enables the access to real-measuring equipment. Students can access virtual instruments via a computer network and carry out real experiments directly by using a standard Web browser. The object of this paper is to present a structure of remote laboratory.

Opis:: We describe short-distance three-channel optical-microwave link with subcarrier multiplexing for transmission digital and/or analog data between different points of industrial measurement systems. The optical fiber link operates with Fabry-Perot laser at 1300 nm, multimode, fiber and PIN photodiode receiver. From microwave point of view three carriers with frequencies 600 MHz, 800 MHz and 1000 MHz were chosen. The structure and main parameters of a link are reported and discussed.
