Opis:
The paper refers to modelling characteristics of IGBT in SPICE software with self-heating taken into account. The form of the electrothermal model of the considered transistor and equations describing this model are proposed. The correctness of the proposed model is verified experimentally during the operation of the examined transistor at different cooling conditions. Particular attention is paid to the non-typical course of characteristics of the considered device at weak excitation. The shape of the obtained characteristics is discussed and the influence of the sub-threshold effect in the input MOS structure on these characteristics is analysed.

Opis:
The paper concerns the study of the effect of thermal phenomena on characteristics of the IGBT. The used measurement set-ups and the results of measurements of dc characteristics of the selected transistor obtained under different cooling conditions are presented. The influence of the ambient temperature and the applied cooling system on the shape of these characteristics is discussed. In particular, attention has been paid to the untypical shape of non-isothermal characteristics of this element in the subthreshold range.

In the paper selected methods of measuring the thermal resistance of an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) are presented and the accuracy of these methods is analysed. The analysis of the measurement error is performed and operating conditions of the considered device, at which each measurement method assures the least measuring error, are pointed out. Theoretical considerations are illustrated with some results of measurements and calculations.

Opis:
W artykule przedstawiono genezę i ustalenia definicyjne wolontariatu. Jest to termin nowy o niewykrystalizowanym jeszcze do końca zakresie znaczeniowym. Został wprowadzony do polskiej literatury na początku lat dziewięćdziesiątych XX w. wraz z rozwojem różnego rodzaju organizacji pozarządowych, które odgrywają coraz większą rolę w kształtowaniu życia społecznego. Do tego czasu cała sfera działalności społecznej realizowanej przez ochotników i działaczy społecznych nazywana była filantropią, dobroczynnością, działalnością charytatywną lub pracą społeczną. W opracowaniu opisano również funkcje wolontariatu w społeczeństwie obywatelskim, motywacje wolontariuszy, obszary działania, rekrutację i szkolenie adeptów oraz korzyści i koszty pracy wolontariackiej.
The following paper presents the genesis and definitional determination of voluntary work. Being in itself a comparatively recent concept it still lacks a concisely circumscribed ultimate definition. It first appeared in Polish literature in the early years of the second decade of the twentieth century concurrently with the development of various non-government organizations which assumed an ever increasing importance in the formation of social life. Up to then the complete range of social involvement accomplished by volunteers and social activists was comprised by the terms of philanthropy, welfare, charity or social work. This article reveals the role of voluntary work in civil society, the volunteers’ motive force, the range of activities, the recruitment and training of new members as well as the benefits and costs of voluntary work.

The article presents the main processes and changes being seen in the development of Polish rural and agriculture transformation. The analysis and conclusion are based on several detailed studies of other authors as well as on comparative studies of different periods of development. The analysis covers the period of the second part of the 20th Century with special attention to decade of 1990-2000.

This research paper aims to present the issue of gender studies as a scientific discipline embed in certain research context and in a network of relations with such ideas and conceptions as feminism and queer theory. By analyzing the historical and philosophical context and the range of influence in the area of these three disciplines, I consider the way how they popularly function in the scientific and common discourse. By relating both disciplines to each other and confronting them with the chronology, I analyze possible variants of thinking the sequent of these disciplines or their ahistorical functioning. I also search for the similarities between them, which could advocate a diachronic view and place in the causal context that calls to the synchronic attempt. In that way I consider all points of view and speculate validity or invalidity of synchronic attempt to gender studies, feminism and queer theory. Starting from asking for the historism or ahistorism of the term gender and presenting the way it varies from feminist and queer conceptions, I consecutively analyze feminism with reference to gender research (in both variants of the chronological result); gender research with reference to queer studies and queer studies with reference to feminism.

In this paper we will precisely analyze the nearest neighbor method for different dissimilarity measures, classical and weighed, for which methods of distinguishing were worked out. We will propose looking for weights in the space of discriminant coordinates. Experimental results based on a number of real data sets are presented and analyzed to illustrate the benefits of the proposed methods. As classical dissimilarity measures we will use the Euclidean metric, Manhattan and post office metric. We gave the first two metrics weights and now these measures are not metrics because the triangle inequality does not hold. Howeover, it does not make them useless for the nearest neighbor classification method. Additionally, we will analyze different methods of tie-breaking.

When we apply stacked regression to classification we need only discriminant indices which can be negative. In many situations, we want these indices to be positive, e.g., if we want to use them to count posterior probabilities, when we want to use stacked regression to combining classification. In such situation, we have to use leastsquares regression under the constraint βₖ ≥ 0, k = 1,2,...,K. In their earlier work [5], LeBlanc and Tibshirani used an algorithm given in [4]. However, in this paper we use a more general algorithm given in [6].

In den Jahren 1986 und 1987 sind Rettungsuntersuchungen auf dem Gräberfeld der Bevölkerung der Ostpommerschen Kultur durchgeführt worden, welches 1950 in Chłapowo entdeckt und als Fundstelle 3 bezeichnet sowie damals teilweise bereits durchforscht worden war. Das Ergebnis früherer Forschungen war die Entdeckung von 7 Gräbern; die Forschungen in den 80. Jahren brachten 6 weitere Gräber. Es darf erwähnt, daβ in der Nähe des Gräberfeldes von Chłapowo, in einer Mikroregion von etwa 350 km2, insgesamt 21 Fundstellen der Ostpommerschen Kultur auftreten (vgl. Abb. 1). Hinsichtlich der Gräberform konnten auf dem Gräberfeld von Chłapowo drei Haupttypen von Gräbern unterschieden werden, welche manchmal in einigen Abarten auftreten. Zu den grundsätzlichen Typen gehören: 1. Kästengräber in zwei Abarten: a. mit Steinkonstruktion (Grab II) und b. ohne Steinkonstruktion (Gräber I, V, VI); 2. Gräber mit Steinkonstruktion (Gräber Nr VIII, IX, XII, XIII?); 3. Glockengräber - a. mit Steinkonstruktion (Grab X), b. ohne Steinkonstruktion (Gräber III und IV) und c. Glockengrab, biritual (VII). Eine auβergewöhnliche Stellung in der Pommerschen Kultur nimmt das letzte von den Gräbern, wo ein uneingeäscherter Toter in das Innere der Steinkonstruktion, direkt über der Glocke, in der sich die Aschenurne mit den eingeäscherten Überresten befand, hingelegt wurde. Auβer diesem Grab gehören alle anderen zu den Brandgräbern. Mit der Tatsache, daβ die Toten mit verschiedenartigen Beigaben ausgestattet wurden, haben wir in 9 Gräbern zu tun (vgl. Tabelle 1). Die überwiegende Merzahl der Beigaben stellen Schmuckgegenstände dar (Ringe, Ohrringe, Nadeln, Certosa-Fibeln, Glaskügelchen); nur in 6 Fällen haben wir mit Gegenständen zu tun, welche der Hygiene gedient hatten (Pinzetten). In dem am reichsten ausgestatteten Gräbern (VII und XI) waren Personen von hohem gesellschaftlichen Rang begraben. In der Ausstattung der Gräber sind als besonders bemerkenswert die bim en- und kugelförmigen Anhänger anzusehen, die wahrscheinlich der Hallstätter Kultur entstammen und von der Bevölkerung der Pommerschen Kultur in Form von Halsketten getragen worden waren sowie die Certosa-Fibeln, die vermutlich eine lokale Nachahmung italischer oder ostalpiner Prototypen waren (in Polen sind auf dem Territorium, welches von der Bevölkerung der Pommerscher Kultur besetzt worden war, lediglich 38 Certosa-Fibeln bekannt geworden) oder schließlich blaue Giasurkugelchen auf bronzene Ohrringe aufgefädelt, welche nach Ansicht der meisten Forscher in das von der pommerschen Population besetzte Gebiet aus Südeuropa oder aus Ägypten gekommen waren. Doch unter dem mobilen Material aus dem Gräberfeld von Chłapowo überwiegt der Anzahl nach die Keramik, bei welcher jene Formen Vorkommen, die typisch für die Pommersche Kultur sind (Schüsseln oder bauchige Gefäβe mit breiten Öffnugen oder Becher) (vgl. Abb. 5; 8; 9) oder auch unter Lausitzer Einflüssen enstanden waren (Abb. 9, 1), welche besonders anregend bei der Verzierung von Gefaβen waren (Inkrustation, Aufkleben von Knötchen, Graphitieren). Eine der Urnen (Ascheurne Nr 6 aus dem Grab VIII) ist mit einer Darstellung eines vierrädrigen Wagens mit zwei eingespannten Pferden verziert (Abb. 6). Diese Darstellung ist bis jetzt das erste Piktogramm eines Wagens mit Speichenrädern auf dem Gebiet von Wielkopolska. Sonst ist nur ein Wagen mit Speichenrädern aus einer Aschenurne aus Darżlubie in der Wojewodschaft Gdańsk bekannt, alle anderen Darstellungen von Wagen - es sind 11 an der Zahl - besitzen Scheibenräder. Darstellungen von Wagen (mit Scheibenrädern), gezogen von zwei Pferden, sind bekannt aus Bukówiec in der Wojewodschaft Piła, Borucin (Woj. Gdańsk), Dzięcielica (Woj. Słupsk), Elganowo und Grabowo Bobowskie (Woj. Gdańsk), Lipowe Budy (Woj. Piła), Krosinko (woj. Koszalin), Olszanów (Woj. Słupsk), Płoskowo und Witkowo (Woj. Bydgoszcz) und Olszanowo (Woj. Gdańsk) - ein zweiradriger Wagen. Gerade in der Zeit der Entwicklung der Ostpommerschen Kultur treten die Szenen mit vierrädrigen Wagen in verbreiterter Weise auf polnischem Gebiet auf und stellen somit eines der Grundelemente der Ikonographie von Gesichtsurnen; sie berechtigen die These vom praktischen Gebrauch von Wagen solchen Typs durch die Pommersche Bevölkerung. Diese Piktogramms geben uns einen indirekten Einblick in die seelische Sphäre der damaligen Bevölkerung, indem sie sich mit den Bestattungsriten von “prominenten” Individuen und mit den Glaubenssystemen damaliger Zeiten verbinden. Die Forscher sind sich im allgemeinen einig, daβ diese Szenen Bestattungsriten darstellen, die das Überführen des Verstorbenen ins Jenseits symbolisieren sollten. Die Ikonographie der vierrädrigen Wagen aus der Hallstattzeit, welche mit der gröβten Intensität in den Fluβgebieten der Odra und Wisła vorkommt, ist auch in weiten Gebieten Europas bekannt, z. B. in Böhmen, Ungarn oder Deutschland (Gh. F. E. Pare 1987, S. 212-219). Die auf den Pommerschen Ascheurnen dargestellten vierrädrigen Wagen knöpfen an die im Hallstätter Kreis auftretenden zeremoniellen Wagen an, wovon 243 Wagen bekannt sind (137 von ihnen, die meisten also, stammen aus Gräbern auf dem Gebiet Deutschlands). Die Chronologie des Gräberfeldes von Chłapowo wurde auf eine Analyse der Gräberform sowie der Keramik und der Metallgegenstände gestutzt. Die Vermischung von verschiedenen Gräbertypen ist ein Merkmal, welches auf die Datierung des Gräberfeldes auf die frühe La-Tène-Zeit hinweist, was darüber hinaus auch durch die Anwesenheit großer Anzahl von Schusseln bestätigt wird, welche als Aschenurnendeckel dienten sowie großer, bauchiger, unterhalb der Halskrümmung aufgerauhter Gefäβe mit Knötchen oder schließlich das Auftreten großer Anzahl keramischer Gefäβe in den Gräbern. Für eine solche Chronologie des Gräberfeldes spricht auch das Datieren von Metallgegenständen, darunter von Certosa-Fibeln.
