Opis:
Purpose: In supply chains, creating a secure space for data production, sending, storing, and analysis has always been a critical issue. The main goal of this research was to evaluate the importance of various security criteria in an intelligent supply chain system. Methodology: The main data collection method was the expert survey. Experts validated the security criteria and sub-criteria. Then, the importance of these criteria was evaluated using the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process method. Findings: The results revealed that reliability and privacy with their sub-criteria were the most important ones among the obtained security criteria for IoT-based supply chain management. Practical implications: The research results can provide valuable insight for supply chains’ decision-makers. The findings can also be a good reference point for researchers who work on the IoT-based supply chain concept in other countries and sectors. Research limitations: Limitations of this study are the purposive sampling method and the limited scope of studied companies and sectors. Therefore, the article provides initial insight on the matter. Originality: The study presents the research problem from a new perspective and gives possible solutions for IoT-based supply chain management.

Opis:
Due to its unique features, the metal foam is considered as one of the newest acoustic absorbents. It is a navel approach determining the structural properties of sound absorbent to predict its acoustical behavior. Unfortunately, direct measurements of these parameters are often difficult. Currently, there have been acoustic models showing the relationship between absorbent morphology and sound absorption coefficient (SAC). By optimizing the effective parameters on the SAC, the maximum SAC at each frequency can be obtained. In this study, using the Benchmarking method, the model presented by Lu was validated in MATLAB coding software. Then, the local search algorithm (LSA) method was used to optimize the metal foam morphology parameters. The optimized parameters had three factors, including porosity, pore size, and metal foam pore opening size. The optimization was applied to a broad band of frequency ranging from 500 to 8000 Hz. The predicted values were in accordance with benchmark data resulted from Lu model. The optimal range of the parameters including porosity of 50 to 95%, pore size of 0.09 to 4.55 mm, and pore opening size of 0.06 to 0.4 mm were applied to obtain the highest SAC for the frequency range of 500 to 800 Hz. The optimal amount of pore opening size was 0.1 mm in most frequencies to have the highest SAC. It was concluded that the proposed method of the LSA could optimize the parameters affecting the SAC according to the Lu model. The presented method can be a reliable guide for optimizing microstructure parameters of metal foam to increase the SAC at any frequency and can be used to make optimized metal foam.

Opis:
Radial basis function neural networks (RBF NNs) are one of the most useful tools in the classification of the sonar targets. Despite many abilities of RBF NNs, low accuracy in classification, entrapment in local minima, and slow convergence rate are disadvantages of these networks. In order to overcome these issues, the sine-cosine algorithm (SCA) has been used to train RBF NNs in this work. To evaluate the designed classifier, two benchmark underwater sonar classification problems were used. Also, an experimental underwater target classification was developed to practically evaluate the merits of the RBF-based classifier in dealing with high-dimensional real world problems. In order to have a comprehensive evaluation, the classifier is compared with the gradient descent (GD), gravitational search algorithm (GSA), genetic algorithm (GA), and Kalman filter (KF) algorithms in terms of entrapment in local minima, the accuracy of the classification, and the convergence rate. The results show that the proposed classifier provides a better performance than other compared classifiers as it classifies the sonar datasets 2.72% better than the best benchmark classifier, on average.

Opis:
If we want to provide the efficient training intervention to increase the duration of using heating protection devices (HPDs) by workers, we need a tool that can estimate the person’s hearing threshold taking into account noise exposure level, age, and work history, and compare them with audiometry to find out the percent reduction of workers hearing loss. First, the workers noise exposure level was determined according to ISO 9612, then 4000 Hz audiometry was done to find age and work history. On basis of ISO 1999 the hearing threshold was estimated and if the hearing protection device was not used continuously and correctly, the hearing protection device’s actual performance was reduced adjusted with person’s audiometry. After training intervention, the estimate was done again and was compared with the adjusted audiometry. According to ISO 1999 standard estimation results, the percent reduction of the workers hearing loss level was 6.48 dB in intervention group. This level remained unchanged in control group. The mean score of hearing threshold estimation (standard ISO 1999) was statistically more significant than mean score of hearing threshold (p-value ¡ 0.001). The results show not significant change in control group due to Lack of changing of noise exposure level. In regards to the results of hearing threshold estimation based on ISO 1999 and comparing with workers audiometry, it can be seen that BASNEF training intervention increases the duration of Rusing the HPDs and it could be effective in reducing hearing threshold related to noise.

Opis:
The article describes a series of finds of Parthian military items in the graves and crypts of Vestemin in northern Iran. These findings are especially significant as they provide an array of discoveries of military equipment: swords, daggers, spearheads, arrowheads, armor and a possible helmet. This study obliges a revision of Winkelman’s observation that “few finds of weapons have been made inside Iran” with respect to Parthian military equipment. In an overall sense, these findings may prove to be as significant to the domain of Parthian military studies as the well-known site of Dura Europos. The excavations have also discovered a coin of Philip the Arab or his son from the earlySasanian era which has assisted the authors’ dating of the Vestemin site. The site of Vestemin is not exclusively a burial venue as the site also has defense works as well as a fortress dated the later Parthian era c. 1st century BCE to 3rd century CE).
