Opis:
Nanocrystalline alloys of $Fe_{86.5}Zr_{6.5}Cu_1B_6$ and $Fe_{40.5}Co_{40.5}Nb_7B_{12}$ were measured by the Mössbauer spectrometry in the weak external magnetic field of 0.5 T. In these conditions the most sensitive parameters of the Mössbauer spectra are the intensities of 2nd and 5th lines and the values of internal magnetic field showed rather small changes. The amorphous part of the sample is more sensitive to the external influence than the nanocrystalline one. The behavior of nanocrystalline alloys under weak external magnetic field was analyzed within influence of interparticles interactions on the magnetic parameters.

Opis:
In this paper we report preliminary results from a study focused on investigation of the role of elements as Cr, Ni, Mn and Si in the radiation stability of reactor pressure vessel steels. Twelve model ferritic steels and eight model welds with basic composition derived from Russian VVER-1000 and Western PWR reactor pressure vessel materials were studied by magnetic Barkhausen noise and Charpy-V impact measurements. Comparison of these two model materials led to the conclusion that the ductile-brittle transition temperatures and Barkhausen noise RMS values of model steels are shifted to the lower values as those of model welds. The VVER-1000 as reference point is shifted to lower RMS values in comparison with model steels and model welds. The next stage of the assessment will involve the investigation of the radiation effect on the model steels with accumulated neutron fluence of $10^{19} n//cm^2$.

Opis:
The investigated oxide dispersion strengthened steels were received from laboratories involved in the Coordinated Research Project F11014 "Benchmarking of Structural Materials Pre-selected for Advanced Nuclear Reactors", namely from India (IGCAR), Russia (Bochvar Institute), China (University of Beijing), and Japan (Kyoto University). The application of the Mössbauer spectroscopy on these materials is aimed to reveal the complex information about studied materials via unique characteristics as micromagnetic properties and homogeneity of admixtures distribution in steels. All studied steels mainly differ in content of elements as Cr or Al. Chosen fitting model consists of bcc Fe, bcc Fe with Cr substitution and paramagnetic bcc Cr rich components. These ODS steels are aimed in further study for He implantations.

An iron-deficient $(Ni_{0.33}Zn_{0.67})_{1 + x}Fe_{2 - x}O_4$ and stoichiometric $Ni_{0.45}Zn_{0.55}Fe_2O_4$ prepared by a wet method were studied using the Mössbauer spectroscopy and thermomagnetic measurements. For the iron-deficient sample the $T_{C}$ is twice as large and the temperature coefficient of initial permeability is two orders of magnitude lower in comparison with the stoichiometric samples. The results are supplemented by the frequency dependence of the complex permeability.

Opis:
This paper is focused on four different commercial oxide-dispersion-strengthened ferritic steels (MA 956, ODM 751, MA 957 and ODS Eurofer) with different chromium content and the change of their microstructure after helium ion implantation. The samples were implanted with kinetic energy of ions up to 500 keV and the implantation depth was up to 1.2 μm. The implantation was performed at Institute of Nuclear and Physical Engineering, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. The samples were observed prior and after the implantation by positron Doppler broadening spectroscopy with slow positron beam (energy up to 36 keV) which is one of the most suitable techniques due to its sensitivity to surface and subsurface layers up to 1.6 μm. The results showed visible change of defect presence in all samples and defect depth profiles are in a good accordance with SRIM software calculations displaying the Bragg peak. According to measured data, ODS Eurofer (9% Cr) seems to be the most radiation resistant from the group of all investigated steels and MA 956 (20% Cr) as the most radiation affected steel.
