Opis:
This articles describes two setups: one for testing traction squirrel cage induction motors and second for traction series DC motors. Both setups were built using power converters, measuring instruments and master control module. In following chapters there are presented some details concerns all setups. One shows also functional possibilities of the control system. The paper is illustrated by photos and waveforms obtained during startup works. Articles is ended by short resume.
W artykule opisano dwie stacje prób do badania trakcyjnych silników indukcyjnych klatkowych oraz silników szeregowych prądu stałego. Obie stacje zostały zbudowane w oparciu o przekształtniki energoelektroniczne, elementy pomiarowe i zarządzający nimi moduł kontrolno-sterujący. W kolejnych rozdziałach opisano szczegóły dotyczące każdej ze stacji, pokazując ich możliwości funkcjonalne. Artykuł zilustrowano zdjęciami systemu i wynikami pomiarowymi, uzyskanymi w czasie prób uruchomieniowych. Całość zakończono podsumowaniem.

Opis:
Copper-based composites could be widely used in automotive, electronic or electrical industry due to their very promising thermal properties. In the present paper, Cu-AlN metal matrix composites with ceramic volume fractions between 0.1 and 0.4 were fabricated by hot pressing method in vacuum. Dependence of the coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and the thermal conductivity (TC) on the chemical composition of composites has been investigated. The measured values of the thermal expansion coefficient have been compared with the analytical models’ predictions. A numerical model based on FEAP 7.5 in 3D space has been used to evaluate the influence of the porosity on the thermal properties (thermal conductivity) of the composite. A fairly good correlation between the FEM results and the experimental measurements has been obtained.

W artykule przedstawione zostały wyniki realizacji projektu dotyczącego optymalizacji sposobu prowadzenia działań stabilizacyjnych. Kryterium stanowi stopień akceptacji prowadzonych działań przez ludność cywilną. Szczególny nacisk położono na symulacyjne generowanie oddziaływania na ludność, mienie i teren w wyniku prowadzenia działań militarnych, kinetycznych. Przedstawiono, jak zmodyfikowano typowy symulator do rozgrywania wariantów działań przez rozszerzenie jego funkcji o działania asymetryczne i straty skojarzone.
The paper presents the results of the project on optimization the way in which stabilization activities are carried out. The criterion is the degree of the operate acceptance by the civilian population. Particular emphasis was placed on the impact on the population, property and land simulation, as a result of military and kinetic operations. The paper presents how a typical simulator to perform variants of actions has been modified by extending its functions with asymmetrical operations and collateral damages.

Opis:
The paper presents an innovatory low-energy detonation-spraying method suitable for the metallization of ceramic materials, in which the energy necessary for joining the metallic coating with the ceramic is delivered in a mechanical way. In the proposed method, the metallic particles, shot from the spraying gun, impinge onto the ceramic substrate with a high velocity, and their kinetic energy is transformed into heat delivered in a specified portion directly to the region of the metal/ceramic joint being formed. The stress distribution and the temperature field at the coating/substrate interface were analyzed also numerically with the aim to optimize the metallization process parameters so as to stimulate the formation of the coating/ceramic joint and, at the same time, to control the region of heat dissipation, the temperature, and the stress state induced in the joint.

Opis:
The paper is concerned with the metallization of ceramic materials using the friction-welding method in which the mechanism of the formation of a joint involves the kinetic energy of friction. The friction energy is directly transformed into heat and delivered in a specified amount precisely to the joint being formed between the metallic layer and the substrate material. The paper describes the ceramic metallization process, which has been developed by the present authors based on the friction-welding method. The stress and temperature fields induced in the joint during the metallization process were determined using the finite element method with the aim to optimize the process parameters. The results were verified experimentally. The structures of the metallic coatings thus obtained were examined and the results are discussed in the paper.

Rozwój działalności gospodarczej w gminach z obszarami Natura 2000 natrafia na wiele barier. Istnieje opinia, że objęcie ochroną wartości przyrodniczych wyklucza lokalny rozwój gospodarczy lub wyraźnie go ogranicza. Ograniczenie to może mieć charakter ilościowy (osłabienie tempa rozwoju), jak i jakościowy (redukcja możliwych ścieżek rozwoju). Tymczasem, często nie dostrzega się nowych możliwości, które mogą być – pod pewnymi warunkami – wykorzystane w celu rozwijania działalności gospodarczej. Aby jednak tak się stało, konieczne jest przekroczenie barier kompetencyjnych, blokujących skuteczne planowanie i wspomaganie procesów rozwoju lokalnego. Istotnym wsparciem mogą być metody długookresowego i kompleksowego planowania, zawierające modele rozwoju łączącego wartości przyrodnicze z ekonomicznymi. Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie metodologii tworzenia modeli rozwoju gospodarczego w gminach z obszarami Natura 2000 oraz przykładowego modelu, opracowanego dla sekcji A Polskiej Klasyfikacji Działalności – rolnictwo, leśnictwo, łowiectwo, rybactwo.
Economic activity in the municipalities with Natura 2000 areas encounters a number of barriers. In many cases, it is claimed, that the presence of Natura 2000 sites restricts local economic development. This limitation can be quantitative (weakening momentum of development) as well as qualitative (reduction of possible pathways). Meanwhile, in many cases, local stakeholders do not see new opportunities, that can be – under certain conditions – used by the economy. However, in order for this to happen it is necessary to exceed the terms of barriers blocking effective planning and support processes of local development. An important contribution can be in this respect, the methods of long-term and comprehensive planning, including the development of models linking the natural values with economic growth. The purpose of this article is to present a methodology for creation of models of economic development in the municipalities with Natura 2000 areas. Furthermore, we would like to provide a sample model developed for section A of the Polish Classification of Activities (PKD) – agriculture, forestry, hunting, fisheries.
