Opis:
The cultural security of Poland is a multifaceted state inscribed in widely understood national security and security of social unit. It is also a state, which should be considered from material and non-material perspective based on components of culture, shaping cultural peculiarities of nation and guiding its development directions. The analysis of factors related to the cultural security of Poland allows to perceive this state not only from the perspective of historically shaped, relatively constant components of culture, but also from the perspective of threats occurring in endogenous and exogenous environment. It is primarily concerned with cultural change, particularly modifying value systems, and national identity of Poles, which is extremely difficult and unmeasurable subject of research.

Opis:
The present article concerns problems of the education of logistic officers in context of the social changes and challenges of XXI century such as of terrorism. Author described basic notions as well as introduced contemporary military logistic and her development in context of conflicts. He concentrated his attention on very important issues from the area of language and cultural education. The author attempted to the tests and judge the possibility of changes in current education system for the officers of logistic, particular in area of the cultural education. He also introduced the whole scale of defects and lacks of the system of the education and showed the main causes of cultural conflicts, which arise on the ground of lack of knowledge about other ethnic groups.

Włochy to państwo, w którym historia emigracji jest dłuższa od historii imigracji. W 1976 roku przypływ ludności z Azji, Afryki i Europy Wschodniej do tego kraju zrównoważył odpływ ludności włoskiej i od tego czasu zjawisko imigracji zyskiwało we Włoszech na znaczeniu. Artykuł prezentuje zatem proces kształtowania włoskiej polityki imigracyjnej, problemy związane z nazewnictwem migrujących cudzoziemców oraz obecną sytuację imigrantów i uchodźców we Włoszech. Autorzy starają się odpowiedzieć na pytanie, czy obecność „obcych” w tym kraju może być traktowana jako zagrożenie dla bezpieczeństwa społecznego państwa.
Italy is a country, where history of emigration is longer than history of immigration. In 1976 influx of people from Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe to that country equilibrated the exodus of Italians, and from that time the phenomenon of immigration has been gaining in importance. Therefore, the article presents process of shaping Italian immigration policy, problems related to naming migrating foreigners, and current situation of immigrants and refugees in Italy (especially towards the migration of people from the Arab countries, afflicted with the so-called Arab Spring). Eventually, the authors try to answer the question, whether the presence of „strangers” in that country can be regarded as a threat to social security of the country.

The emigration of the Poles to Chile is a subject of research which, despite the passage of more than two centuries since the first Poles appeared in this part of the world, still raises many questions and is a source of myths. Both the scale of emigration – as it turns out – and the fate of the Poles in Chile are still a fascinating subject for sociologists, ethnographers, and cultural anthropologists. The historical context of research on Polish emigrants in this country also inclines to look at emigration from an economic perspective. That is justified by the activity of the most famous figure – Ignacy Domeyko, who has become a national hero and a symbol of Chile’s economic development. The article aims to present the genesis and scale of Polish emigration to Chile in a retrospective and contemporary perspective and a description of Ignacy Domeyko’s contribution to this country. The article attempts to answer the question about the reasons for the Poles’ emigration to Chile, its scale over the years, and the Poles’ fate in exile.
Emigracja Polaków do Chile jest przedmiotem badań, który mimo upływu ponad dwóch wieków od pojawienia się pierwszych Polaków w tym zakątku świata, nadal rodzi wiele pytań i jest źródłem mitów. Zarówno skala emigracji – jak się okazuje nielicznej i losy Polaków w Chile stanowią wciąż fascynujący temat dla socjologów, etnografów i antropologów kultury. Historyczny kontekst badań nad polskimi emigrantami w tym państwie skłania również na spojrzenie na emigrację z perspektywy gospodarczej, którą uzasadnia działalność najsławniejszej postaci – Ignacego Domeyki, który stał się dla Chile bohaterem narodowym i symbolem rozwoju gospodarczego. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja genezy i skali emigracji Polaków do Chile w ujęciu retrospektywnym i współczesnym oraz opis zasług Ignacego Domeyki dla tego państwa. Artykuł stanowi próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie dotyczące przyczyn emigracji Polaków do Chile, jej skali w latach a także ich losów na emigracji.
