Opis:: Th e article shows the main characteristics and features of the higher professional education of the Republic of Belarus in 20th century, information on number and departmental accountability of universities, information on number of students and the impact of graduates on the socio-economic development of the Republic in 2011–2015. Th is article presents an analysis of the following documents: Socio-Economic Development Program of the Republic of Belarus in 2011–2015. (in the sphere of education), Th e Activities of Belarusian Government on the Fulfi llment of Socio-Economic Development Program of Belarus in 2011–2015, Th e National Strategy of Sustainable Social and Economic Development of Belarus for the period till 2020, Th e State Program of Higher Education Development in 2011–2015, the data of Th e National Statistics Committee of the Republic of Belarus. Th e main achievements and the distinctive features of the Belarusian educational paradigm are identifi ed in the article, some imperfections and their solutions to the mentioned issues are identifi ed.
В статье раскрываются основные черты и функции высшего про- фессионального образования Республики Беларусь в ХХIвеке, сведе- ния о количестве и ведомственной подотчетности вузов, количестве студентов, сведения о влиянии выпускников вузов на социально-э- кономическое развитие Республики в 2011–2015 годах. В статье представлен анализ следующих документов: Программы социаль- но-экономического развития Республики Беларусь на 2011–2015 гг. (в области образования), Мероприятий Правительства Республики Беларусь по выполнению Программы социально-экономического развития Республики Беларусь на 2011–2015 годы, Национальной стратегии устойчивого социально-экономического развития Респу- блики Беларусь на период до 2020 г., Государственной программы развития высшего образования на 2011–2015 годы, данных Наци- онального статистического комитета республики Беларусь. Опре- делены основные достижения, отличительные черты белорусской образовательной парадигмы, отмечены некоторые недостатки и пути решения обозначенных проблем.

Opis:: Artykuł został poświęcony analizie wybranych publikacji naukowych, ukazujących się na łamach czasopisma „Szkoła Specjalna” w latach 2009–2020. Głównym celem badań było przedstawienie ilościowego oraz jakościowego charakteru opracowań z zakresu logopedii i audiologii oferowanych nauczycielom, wychowawcom oraz pedagogom specjalnym, przy użyciu narzędzia, jakim jest wspomniane czasopismo. Materiały zostały przeanalizowane pod kątem częstości ukazywania się, zagadnień i zaburzeń, na których temat najczęściej pisano oraz zgodności treści publikacji z pierwotnymi założeniami twórców czasopisma.
The article is dedicated to the analysis of selected scientific publications appearing in the journal „Special School” in the years 2009–2020. The main aim of the research was to present the quantitative and qualitative nature of studies in the field of speech therapy and audiology, offered to teachers, educators and specialeducators, with the help of the aforementioned journal. The materials were analyzed in terms of the frequency of publication, issues and disordersthatwere most often written about and the compliance of the content of the publication with the original assumptions of the authors of the journal.

Opis:: The emergence and rapid spread of SARS-CoV-2 caused uncertainty about our health, jobs, and the education system. For teachers, changes in workplaces and the breakdown of interpersonal relationships during the pandemic caused even greater stress levels in what is already known to be a stressful job. We wanted to find out if a positive or negative attitude towards online work influenced levels of stress and mental well-being, perceived difficulties at work, subjective evaluation of received support, and effectiveness of remote work during the first wave of SARS-CoV-2 in Poland. Data was collected using a questionnaire, the PSS 10 scale and another scale based on GHQ12 and GH30. Nearly one-third of the respondents indicated positive aspects of online education. Those who could see the positive aspects of online education showed themselves better adapted to the new form of working and had higher results in all four scales that we researched. They handled online tools, used synchronous methods, conducted educational activities more often, and felt competent during online work. Supporting the effectiveness of educators by improving the competencies that they need for this new form of working is vital with regard to the changes within the school institution.

Opis:: The purpose of this article is to draw attention to the inconsistencies and incoherence in the applicable provisions of education law in relation to the education of pupils with special educational needs arising from disability. Therefore, this paper presents an analysis of the current rules in relation to pre-school and early education and teaching with a focus on the following aspects: 1) new tasks for pre-school and early education teachers, 2) duties of teachers, psychologists and other professionalsworking in kindergartens and schools, for psychological and pedagogicalcounseling centers as well as pre-school and early elementary education teachers, 3) qualification requirements under the regulation of the Minister of Education and requirements for skills gained during studies and determined by the regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education on teacher preparation standards in the context of pre-school and early elementary education teachers’ work, 4) comparison between a decision on the need for special education and a certificate of disability.

Opis:: Ścisła współpraca środowiska domowego ze środowiskiem edukacyjnym jest istotnym elementem efektywności wdrażania alternatywnej i wspomagającej komunikacji (AAC). Celem autorki było zbadanie jakości tej współpracy na przykładzie (case study) jednego z wrocławskich Ośrodków Rehabilitacyjno-Edukacyjnych (ORE). Autorka prze- prowadziła badania ewaluacyjne równolegle z wewnętrzną ewaluacją ośrodka. Posłużyła się ankietą adresowaną do nauczycieli i specjalistów oraz rodziców, rozmowami indywidualnymi, analizą dokumentów i obserwacją. Praktycznym efektem badań ewaluacyjnych było opracowanie szczegółowych rekomendacji dla ośrodka. Autorka stwierdziła, że efektywność wdrażania AAC w odniesieniu do dzieci i młodzieży – uczestników ORE – jest niska, głównie ze względu nieharmonijną współpracę środowiska domowego i środowiska edukacyjnego. Drugim ważnym czynnikiem jest nierównomierne korzystanie z AAC w obu środowiskach. Nauczyciele i specjaliści wykorzystują niemal wszystkie sytuacje w ciągu dnia, aby nawiązywać relację komunikacyjną z uczestnikami ORE, stosują różnorodne sposoby komunikacji, posługują się najnowocześniejszym urządzeniami, natomiast rodzice mają trudności z optymalnym wdrażaniem AAC w środowisku domowym, wskazując na wysokie koszty urządzeń do komunikacji oraz wyrażając przekonanie, że ORE wypełnia adekwatnie zadania z zakresu AAC, co zwalnia ich z obowiązku rozwijania komunikacji w domu.
Close cooperation between the home environment and the educational setting is an important element of the effectiveness of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). The author’s aim was to examine the quality of this cooperation using the example (case study) of one of Poland’s Rehabilitation and Education Centers (OREs) in Wrocław. The author carried out an evaluation study in parallel with the center’s internal evaluation. She used a survey addressed to teachers, specialists, and parents, as well as individual conversations, document analysis, and observation. The practical effect of the evaluation study was the formulation of detailed recommendations for the center. The author stated that the effectiveness of implementing AAC in work with children and young people-OREs’ participants is low, mainly due to the inharmonious cooperation between the families and the educational center. The second important factor is the uneven use of AAC in both settings. Teachers and specialists use almost all situations during the day to establish communication with the ORE participants-they employ a variety of communication methods and utilize the most modern devices-while parents, who have difficulties adequately using AAC at home, point to the high costs of the communication devices.
