- Learning routinized formulas is one of the relevant and effective components of foreign vocabulary acquisition. Therefore the lemmatization of such set phrases and the way they are explained in mono- and bilingual dictionaries for foreign language learners is of importance. The paper presents German and Polish routinized formulas listed in the dictionary Langenscheidt Słownik Premium Niemiecki, polsko-niemiecki, niemiecko-polski (2014). The analysis of selected items as examples shows, especially with respect to pragmatic phraseologisms, not only some issues concerning selection of appropriate equivalents but also signals the need for inclusion of additional lexicographic information (e.g. in the form of glosses) which could facilitate correct understanding and application of the examined routinized formulas by dictionary users.
