    In keeping with the epic conception of reality, the Crusade songs La Chanson d’Antioche and La Conquête de Jérusalem realize the axiological opposition between Good and Evil, embodied in the armies of the Crusaders and the Muslims. However, the appearance of two value systems within one work neutralizes the oppositions, with many of the actions losing their transgressive character. This capacity for neutralization belongs solely to the literary discourse, whereas in medieval realities axiological systems were far from elastic. A distinctive element of the world of the Christians in these texts is the army of King Tafur, which breaks all chivalric rules, hardly a case of transgression this, but rather an incentive for praise and respect. The king’s army constitutes an interesting example of the transference of the warriors’ desires, restricted as they are by the chivalric code. Key words: Crusade, epic, axiology, religion knighthood.

    L'auteur en se rapportant à l’obligation dont parle CIC, can. 1063 n. 1-4, tâche de fixer la tâche du prêtre en matière de créer la communion conjugale. Tout d ’abord il montre les buts particuliers de cet activité, notamment: l’instruction des époux proches sur le fond, la valeur et la besoin du développement permanent de la communion conjugale; la p réparation des jeunes gens à vivre dans la communion matrimoniale et à e ntrer dans la relation intime avec La Sainte-Trinité; l’indication aux fidèles des moyens naturels et surnaturels de consolider la communion conjugale; le secours aux époux pour qu’ils peuvent approfondir avec succès son union singulière; l’aide pastorale aux mariages mixtes et aux époux qui sont dans une situation difficile au développement de leur communion personnelle. A la réalisation de ces tâches le prêtre peut se servir des moyens suivants: l’éducation; la préparation des fidèles à vivre au marriage; la cérémonie de la bénédiction nuptiale; les sacraments, avant tout l’Eucharistie et de la p enitence; la parole de Dieu; la prière conjugale; la prêtrise des mariages; la célébration commune des dimanches et des solennités religieuses et familiales; le servise du droit canonique; la visite pastorale; des exercices spirituels et des rencontres de formation pour les fiancés et les époux; des pèlerinages des marriages etc.

    Miłosierdzie Boże wobec człowieka objawia się nade wszystko w przebaczaniu grzechów. Z woli Chrystusa dokonuje się ono przez posługę kapłana w sakramencie pokuty i pojednania. W 30 rocznicę publikacji adhortacji apostolskiej Jana Pawła II Reconciliatio et paenitentia niniejsza refleksja ukazuje trzy komplementarne aspekty działania kapłana jako sługi Bożego miłosierdzia. Najpierw autor wskazuje na znaczenie przepowiadania ewangelicznego orędzia o miłosierdziu Bożym. Następnie omawia udzielanie przebaczenia w sakramencie pokuty i pojednania, w szczególności podkreśla potrzebę budzenia zaufania. Na koniec podkreśla znaczenie osobistego świadectwa kapłana-spowiednika, który jest także penitentem.
    Above all, God’s mercy manifests itself in the forgiveness of sins. By the will of Christ it is expressed in the ministry of the priest in the sacrament of penance and reconciliation. On the 30th anniversary of the publication of Pope John Paul II’s apostolic exhortation Reconciliatio et paenitentia, this article presents three complementary aspects of the priest’s ministry as a servant of the Divine Mercy. First, the author concentrates on the significance of the preaching of the Gospel message of God’s mercy. Next, he discusses the sacrament of penance and reconci-liation and the granting of absolution. In particular, he emphasizes the need of inspiring trust. Finally, he points out the necessity of personal example set by the priest-confessor, who is a penitent too.

Ils contienent sa dimension pascale parce qu’ils impliquent l’identification avec Jésus, sa mort et sa résurrection. Le prêtre qui pratique les conseils évanguéliques est témoin et signe du Royaume de Dieu, où Dieu satisfera tous les nobles désirs ainsi que les attentes de l’homme.

    [L'élaboration se compose de deux parties: la première présente la silhouette du prętre Łappa de la Lituanie, un des participans à l'insurrection polonaise de l'année 1863, la douxième, c'est la traduction du russe, un fragment de son journal qu'il écrivit pendant sa route à la dèportation en Sibérie. Le prêtre fut le curé à Horbaczewo. En 1863 il fut accusé par les autorités russes d'avoir encouragé les paysans à l'insurrection. Pour ça il fut condamné aux travaux forcés à la région au – delà du lac Baikal. Là, dans les circonstances que nous n'avons pas connues on lui emporte ses mémoires qu'il écrivait en polonais et italien. Après on les traduisit en russe pour vérifier si le prętre n'écrivait du mal sur les autorités et sur la situation à la deportation. Les fragments cités des mémoires viennent de l'été du 1864 et contiennent les réflexions du prętre sur le caractère tragique des déportations des Polonais et sur le charme du paysage Sibérien aux environs de Tobolsk. Ce sont des expéditions déposées aujourd'hui aux archives de la ville Czyta en Sibérie, dans la région au – delà du lac Baikal.

    Le présent article traite de l’exil polonais de l’abbé Pochard (1766-1833) sous l’angle du pro- cessus de son intégration au sein de sa famille d’accueil. Prêtre réfractaire français exilé en Suisse à partir de 1792, il se rend en Grande Pologne en 1796 pour devenir précepteur des fils de Joseph Skórzewski, staroste de Gniezno. Malgré son désir de revenir en France au plus vite, des circon- stances tragiques, qu’elles soient nationales, familiales ou personnelles, l’amènent inlassablement  à rester à l’étranger et à remettre ses projets de retour à plus tard. De leur côté, les Skórzewski, sincèrement attachés à leur hôte français, mettent tout en œuvre pour le retenir et créer un lien per- sonnel avec lui. L’article plonge dans le tourment intime de l’abbé Pochard, qui se trouve pris en tenaille entre son désir de respecter le serment qu’il fit à ses supérieurs à son départ de revenir dès qu’ils le rappelleraient, et le sentiment de devoir poursuivre son œuvre auprès de sa famille d’accueil, dans laquelle il tient le rôle de mentor, surtout depuis la mort du chef de famille en 1809. Finale- ment résigné à rester en Pologne, c’est en membre à part entière de la famille Skórzewski qu’il décède en 1833.

    Artykuł jest próbą ukazania wiodących elementów składających się na postawę wobec Żydów, widoczną u ks. Claude-Antoine Pocharda (1766-1833), guwernera w rodzinie starosty gnieźnieńskiego Józefa Skórzewskiego. Liczne podróże po ziemiach polskich i krajach ościennych pozwoliły mu bezpośrednio zetknąć się z problematyką żydowską w Europie środkowej i wschodniej, a jego dotąd niepublikowane wspomnienia rzucają światło na kilka interesujących aspektów historii europejskich Żydów. Artykuł składa się z trzech części. W pierwszej z nich dokonano prezentacji przypadków bezpośredniego bądź pośredniego zetknięcia się ks. Pocharda z Żydami w czasie jego podróży po Bawarii, Saksonii, Prusach, Wielkopolsce, zaborze rosyjskim i na Litwie. W drugiej części ukazano reakcje ks. Pocharda na obecność Żydów, sprowadzające się najczęściej do niechęci i unikania bliższych kontaktów. Podjęto również próbę ukazania różnicy stanowisk zarówno strony katolickiej, reprezentowanej przez ks. Pocharda, jak i żydowskiej, klimatu wrogości i wzajemnych uprzedzeń. W trzeciej i ostatniej części ukazano z jednej strony przypadki, w których ks. Pochard rewiduje swoje poglądy w zetknięciu z profesjonalizmem i uczciwością napotkanych w podróży żydowskich oberżystów i kupców, a z drugiej konkretne momenty, w których dochodziło do eskalacji napięć w jego kontaktach z Żydami. Całość artykułu stanowi interesującą panoramę stosunków chrześcijańsko-żydowskich w pierwszej połowie XIX wieku, w której za istniejącą wymianą handlową i kontaktami o podłożu ekonomicznym nie idzie wymiana kulturalna.
    The article is an attempt to show the leading elements of the attitude towards Jews, the attitude of Father Claude-Antoine Pochard (1766-1833), tutor in the family of a Gniezno governor Joseph Skórzewski. Numerous trips across Polish territories and neighboring countries enabled him to come into direct contact with Jewish issues in Central and Eastern Europe, and his up till now unpublished memoirs shed light on some interesting aspects of the history of European  Jews. The article consists of three parts. The first part presents direct or indirect contacts of Father Pochard with Jews during his trip to Bavaria, Saxony, Prussia, Wielkopolska, the land annexed by Russia and Lithuania. The second part shows Fr. Pochard’s reactions to the presence of Jews – dislike and avoiding closer contacts. There is also an attempt to show the difference in the positions of both the Catholic side, represented by Fr. Pochard, and the Jewish side, the climate of hostility and mutual prejudices. The third and last part shows cases where Fr. Pochard revises his views in contact with professionalism and honesty encountered in traveling Jewish innkeepers and merchants, and also other specific moments when there was escalation of tension in his relations with the Jews. The whole article is an interesting panorama of Christian-Jewish relations in the  first half of the nineteenth century, when there were economic contacts but no cultural exchange.

    The life of the primitive church, to this day, reflects the authenticity of the Church’s practices and its inner arrangement. As such, this article discusses the possibilities of the inner life and order of ecclesiastical communities in the most ancient times of the Church. It does not, however, question the significance of the role of the leading figures within the Church, as it corresponds with concrete pleas to the faithful for obedience, as already mentioned within New Testament writings, likewise does so the institution of the monarchical bishop, as propagated by the epistles of Ignatius of Antioch. However, Luke’s Acts of the Apostles do, for example, contain testimonials of the participation of the entire ecclesiastical community on the appointing of Apostle Matthias and the first seven deacons. Didache, the early Christian treatise, does too, on one note, stress the importance of the carriers of the prophetic charism, nonetheless it does offer ecclesiastical communities with certain criteria regarding their participation on the service of said charismatics, and their assessments thereof. The Gospel of Matthew, along with Paul’s first Epistle to the Corinthians, point towards participation of all the members of the ecclesiastical communities on the execution of essential penal measures against convicted Christians.
    Fino ad oggi, la vita della Chiesa primitiva riflette l’autenticità delle pratiche e dell’organizzazione interna. Questo articolo discute la questione della vita interna e dell’ordine delle comunità ecclesiali nei primi tempi della Chiesa. Allo stesso tempo, non mette in discussione il ruolo dei protagonisti della Chiesa, manifestatosi nelle concrete chiamate all’obbedienza dei fedeli, come testimoniano già gli scritti neotestamentari; cui corrispondeva anche l’istituzione del vescovo monarchico, secondo le lettere di Ignazio di Antiochia. Tuttavia, già negli Atti degli Apostoli di San Luca, ci sono testimonianze della partecipazione dell’intera comunità ecclesiale alla nomina dell’apostolo Matteo e dei primi sette diaconi. L’opera paleocristiana della Didache, oltre a sottolineare l’importanza dei portatori del carisma profetico, offre anche alle comunità ecclesiali alcuni criteri per la loro partecipazione al ministero di questi carismatici e per la loro valutazione. Il Vangelo di San Matteo e la prima lettera di San Paolo ai Corinzi indicano poi la partecipazione di tutti i membri delle comunità ecclesiali nell’attuazione delle necessarie misure penali richieste contro i cristiani colpevoli.
    La vie de l’Église primitive, aujourd’hui encore, reflète l’authenticité des pratiques et de son organisation interne. Le présent article traite la question de la vie interne et de l’ordre des communautés ecclésiales aux premiers temps de l’Église. Il ne remet pas pour autant en cause le rôle des personnages de premier plan dans l’Église, un rôle qui se manifeste dans les appels concrets des fidèles à l’obéissance, comme en témoignent déjà les écrits du Nouveau Testament ; à cette tendance correspondait aussi l’institution de l’évêque monarchique, selon les lettres d’Ignace d’Antioche. Cependant, déjà dans les Actes des Apôtres St. Luc, on peut lire des témoignages de la participation de l’ensemble de la communauté ecclésiale à la nomination de l’apôtre Matthieu et des sept premiers diacres. L’oeuvre paléochrétienne de la Didaché, tout en soulignant aussi l’importance des porteurs du charisme prophétique, offre aussi aux communautés ecclésiales des critères pour leur participation au ministère de ces charismatiques et leur évaluation. L’Evangile de St. Matthieu et la première lettre de St. Paul aux Corinthiens indique ensuite la participation de tous les membres des communautés ecclésiales à l’exécution des mesures pénales nécessaires contre les chrétiens coupables.

    Le Disciple (The Disciple) is Paul Bourget’s main work. The book, which was published in 1889, was preceded by a psychological novel, Mensonges (A Living Lie), published in 1887, and followed by a thesis novel, L’Étape, published in 1902, in which this member of the French Academy prefigured and reconfigured the character of the teacher and that of the student. His model teaching figures are the edifying character of the priest-teacher or of the Christian teacher, who support the values of traditional Catholic education, which differ from those of secular teachers. The fictional outline of the characters as well as the author’s diaries shed light on the evolution of the author’s theories about teaching, which were linked to the Catholic faith,  showing how his fictional and personal writings developed in parallel.
    Le Disciple est l’œuvre centrale de Paul Bourget. Cet ouvrage de 1889 est précédé par un roman psychologique Mensonges (1887) et suivi par un roman à thèse L’Étape (1902), dans lesquels l’académicien préfigure et reconfigure les personnages du professeur et de l’élève. Son modèle de maître se dessine dans des figures de prêtre-enseignant ou de professeur chrétien dans la défense des valeurs de l’éducation catholique traditionnaliste contrastant avec celles de professeurs laïcs. Les schémas fictionnels des personnages comme les écrits diaristes de l’auteur permettent d’éclairer l’élaboration des thèses de l’auteur sur l’enseignement lié à la foi catholique, dans un cheminement parallèle d’écriture romanesque et intime.

    In the modern world, a dispensation from celibacy of presbyters is hotly debated problem and very thought provoking issue among both clerics and the lay Christian faithful. It also raises universal interest of media and public opinion. The Author analyses the legal status in force and the practice of the Apostolic See concerning the obtaining a dispensation from the obligations of sacred ordination validly received in the Latin Church at the request of the presbyter, included celibacy. In the first part of the article, provisions regulating an issue of dispensation from celibacy of presbyters are presented. Attention is paid at the competences in the procedure of granting the dispensation and the legal grounds for it. In the second part, the Author shows different stages of the proceedings in order for obtaining a dispensation at the request of the presbyter which are the proceedings before the ordinary and then in the Congregation for the Clergy. In the last part of the article, the Author presents the legal effects of the rescript of the Apostolic See.
