    Wzajemne zrozumienie religijne i tolerancja: panaceum na przezwyciężenie współczesnych kryzysów religijnych w Nigerii Artykuł podejmuje problematykę celu religii jako zaprojektowanej dla człowieka przez Boga i analizuje relacje między jednostkami i grupami społecznymi. Autor zauważa, że lekkomyślne i barbarzyńskie zabójstwa niewinnych ludzi (muzułmanów i niemuzułmanów) mogą zostać powstrzymane poprzez podjęcie wysiłku porozumienia i pokojowego współistnienia. Zaleca model Proroka Mahometa, ukazujący tolerancję i pokojowe współistnienie jako wyjście z owych kryzysów i sposób na zaprowadzenie pokoju w społeczeństwie, gwarantującego zrównoważony rozwój.
    The paper espouses the purpose of religion as designed for man by Allah and highlights the level of relationship between individuals and groups. Some religious crises recorded in the country that has led to wanton destruction of lives and properties are highlighted. The paper probes into causes of religious crises as well as misunderstanding between adherents of different faith that pose security challenges in the country, through analytic study. It laments that the reckless and barbaric killings of innocent people (Muslims and non-Muslims) could be averted through understanding and peaceful co-existence. The model of Prophet Muhammad on tolerance and peaceful co-existence is recommended as a way out of the challenges and a way of entrenching peaceful society which guarantee a sustainable development.

    Główne prace Leona Koja dotyczyły problemów semiotyki, logiki, filozofii języka, filozofii umysłu, etyki. W wielu z nich są odniesienia do warunków osiągnięcia porozumienia. Dotyczą one: 1. warunków logicznych, 2. warunków metodologicznych, 3. warunków etycznych, 4. warunków semiotycznych. Artykuł poświęcony jest określeniu tych ostatnich warunków. Pokrótce zostaną omówione podstawowe pojęcia semiotyczne obecne w pracach Leona Koja. Na gruncie założeń Koja koncepcji semiotyki określone zostaną pojęcia określające warunki efektywnej realizacji procesu komunikowania się i jego podstawowe funkcje.
    Major works by Leon Koj deal with the issues of semiotics, logics, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind and ethics. Many of them refer to aspects of communication, however, this is not the main subject of his considerations. These references relate to the problems of satisfying: 1. the logical criteria, 2. the methodological criteria, 3. the ethical criteria, 4. the semiotic criteria. This article is dedicated to defining the semiotic criteria. It briefly covers basic semiotic notions present in Koj’s works. On the basis of Koj’s assumptions the concept of semiotics conditions for the realisation and functions of the communication process is defined.

    Under the conditions of intensive development of mineral resources and especially natural building materials mining industry and the increased role of the latter in the territories’ economy the interests of a mineral developer often come into contradiction with the goals of sustainable and balanced development. The article analyses the experience on creating recreational parks and ecological paths in the Republic of Karelia and expresses the need to establish effective and long-term interaction between the enterprises and local community.
    W sytuacji intensywnego rozwoju górnictwa, szczególnie górnictwa surowców skalnych, a także w związku z jego rosnącą rolą w gospodarce lokalnej, często pojawia się sprzeczność pomiędzy interesami przedsiębiorstw górniczych a kierunkami zrównoważonego i trwałego rozwoju regionu. W artykule przeanalizowano doświadczenia w tworzeniu parków rekreacyjnych i ścieżek ekologicznych na terenie Republiki Karelii. Podkreślono potrzebę ustanowienia realnej systematycznej współpracy między przedsiębiorstwami wydobywczymi i społecznością lokalną.

    Today, problems related to intercultural communication are actively studied by representatives of various sciences. As a result of this study, many concepts related to intercultural communication have been introduced, which have become the subject of research in both scientific and practical fields. Often, in defining intercultural communication, representatives of cultural studies, sociology, psychology and linguistics emphasize their professional approach to this phenomenon and reflect their unique view of it. This article focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of intercultural communication and cultural exchange within the framework of Polish-Ukrainian relations in the context of current events, in particular Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Polish support for Ukraine has become important and has many aspects, including humanitarian aid, political support, and economic cooperation. This support contributes to strengthening mutual understanding and solidarity between the Polish and Ukrainian peoples, as well as promotes the exchange of culture and traditions. The article presents a study of cultural exchange and interaction between the Ukrainian and Polish communities during the military actions in Ukraine. Focusing on the period after the invasion, the study examines the intense cultural exchange that took place between the two national groups. This exchange included the exchange of art, literary works, musical performances, and other cultural expressions. It reflects the efforts of both nations to maintain friendly relations and promote mutual understanding in a complex geopolitical context. Cultural exchange contributes to the expansion of knowledge, deepening of understanding and perception of another culture. Art, literature, and other cultural expressions allow people to get acquainted with the world and traditions of other nations, which makes it possible to form common values and opens a dialogue between Ukrainians and Poles. This dialogue helps to increase mutual understanding and improve relations between these communities in the face of historical challenges. It also examines various practical aspects of organizing cultural initiatives and further developing interaction between Ukrainian and Polish cultural heritage after the Russian invasion. These aspects include the organization of joint cultural events, cultural exchange, joint projects in the field of education, and so on. The study opens up new promising horizons for understanding cultural interactions in the context of global change and contributes to deepening interaction between national communities.

    Artykuł poświęcony jest znaczeniu ukraińsko-polskich związków pedagogicznych dla rozwoju jakości nowoczesnej edukacji, budowy wspólnego europejskiego domu. Dowodzi się w nim znaczenia doświadczeń historycznych dla pełniejszego zrozumienia procesów zachodzących obecnie, a także interpretacji osiągnięć z przeszłości we współczesnej międzykulturowej przestrzeni pedagogicznej. Jako przykład wybrano postać ukraińskiego pedagoga Wasilija Suchomlińskiego, jego twórczość oraz związki z polskimi kolegami w latach 50 – 60 XX wieku. Podkreślono wpływ przekonań wybitnego polskiego pedagoga Janusza Korczaka na jego pedagogiczny światopogląd. Scharakteryzowano dalszy rozwój personalistyczny ukraińsko-polskich więzi i ich wzajemnych wpływów w ciągu następnych dziesięcioleci. Artykuł analizuje popularyzację idei Suchomlińskiego przez znanych polskich pedagogów-badaczy, m.in. Tadeusza Wilocha, Aleksandra Lewina, Wincentego Okonia, Mariana Bybluka, Bogusława Sliwerskiego. Podkreśla się podejście personalistyczne, dające możliwość spojrzenia na wspólne procesy przez pryzmat losu jednostki, jej dziedzictwa pedagogicznego jako komponentu przestrzeni międzykulturowej.
    This paper is devoted to the contribution of the Ukrainian-Polish pedagogical relations towards the improvement in the quality of modern education, building a common European home. Its author proves that past experiences play an important role in thorough understanding of contemporary processes and interpreting previous achievements in the contemporary intercultural pedagogical space., The figure of Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi, a Ukrainian pedagogue, and his creative heritage as well as his relations with the Polish colleagues in the 50s and 60s of 20th century serve as an example. The influence of Janusz Korczak, the famous Polish educator, on his outlook are also stressed. The further development of the Ukrainian-Polish relations and the mutual influences over the next decades are described. This paper constitutes an analysis of the popularisation of his ideas by the greatest Polish teachers and researchers, such as Tadeusz Wiloсh, Aleksander Lewin, Wincenty Okoń, Marian Bybluk, or Bogusław Sliwerski. The personalistic approach is emphasized, allowing for consideration of mutual processes in the light of particular individuals’ destiny and their educational heritage as an intercultural space component.

    Die deutsche Sprache ist vor allem eine europäische Sprache; ihre Zukunft entscheidet sich in Europa, denn hier hat sie ihren Schwerpunkt. Sie wurde nicht durch Kolonialismus in der Welt verbreitet. Doch übertrifft sie in Europa nach der Zahl der Muttersprachler (95 Mio. in Europa, 120 Mio. erdeweit) und der Zahl der Staaten (7), in denen sie Amtssprache ist. Wenn wir über die deutsche Sprache im europäischen Kontext reden, fällt uns der mittlerweile auf der ganzen Welt gebräuchliche Ausdruck Globalisierung ein. Wir denken dabei in der Regel an Prozesse ökonomischer und ökologischer Verflechtungen, wir denken an die Öffnung von Märkten und Grenzen, an die wachsende Integration von Nationalstaaten durch den wirtschaftlichen und wissenschaftlichen Austausch, wir denken an politische Konfigurationen, an den technologischen Fortschritt und die kulturellen Einflüsse, aber auch an die globale Verbreitung von Ideen und Überzeugungen auf Deutsch und an seine Anziehungskraft bei seinem Erlernen.
    German is a European language whose future will be determined primarily in Europe, because it is here where this language is used most of all. Although the German language’s usage wasn’t expanded due to colonial achievements the number of the speakers who consider it their mother tongue makes nearly 95 million people in Europe and 120 million throughout the world. Seven European nations provide German language with official status. When they speak about this language in European context globalisation issues come forth at once. First of all it designates not only the intertwined economical and environmental development processes, but also discovery of new sales markets and borders opening, deeper integration of new nations due to scientific and economical exchange between them and “Old Europe” countries, technological progress, cultural impact and didactic attraction of the German language as well as the exchange and dissemination of ideas, thoughts, and views leading to mutual understanding between nations.

    The article is devoted to the importance of the Ukrainian-Polish pedagogical relations for the development of the modern education quality and building a common European home. The historical expertise has its importance for a better understanding the contemporary course of action; the previous achievements in the contemporary intercultural pedagogical space are discussed. It is also elaborated, as an example, the figure of Vasyl Sukhomlynskyi, the Ukrainian pedagogue, and  his creative heritage, relations with the Polish colleagues in 50-60-s of the 20th century, as well as the influence of Janusz Korczak, the famous Polish educator, on his viewpoint.  The development of the Ukrainian-Polish relations and the further influences over the next decades were presented too. There is conducted an analysis on the translation of V. Sukhomlynskyi ‘s works in Poland and the popularization of his ideas by the well-known Polish teachers and researchers, including Aleksander Lewin, Wincenty Okoń, Marian Byblyuk and others. It is underlined micro historical approach prospect that allows to consider the overall process in the light of the individual’s experiences, with educational heritage as an intercultural space component.
    Artykuł poświęcony jest znaczeniu pedagogicznych relacji ukraińsko-polskich dla podniesienia jakości nowoczesnej edukacji i budowy wspólnego europejskiego domu. Wykazuje również znaczenie wykorzystania doświadczenia historycznego dla pełniejszego rozumienia odbywających się obecnie procesów, w celu interpretacji osiągnięć przeszłości we współczesnej międzykulturowej przestrzeni pedagogicznej. Wybrano tu jako przykład postać i dorobek twórczy ukraińskiego pedagoga Wasyla Suchomlińskiego, jego relacje z polskimi kolegami w latach 50-60 XX w. oraz wpływ na jego poglądy pedagogiczne słynnego polskiego pedagoga Janusza Korczaka. Scharakteryzowano również dalszy rozwój stosunków ukraińsko-polskich w ciągu najbliższych dziesięcioleci. W artykule analizowano tłumaczenia książek Suchomlińskiego w Polsce.  Ukazana też została popularyzacja jego pomysłów przez znanych polskich pedagogów-badaczy, w tym Aleksandra Lewina, Wincentegо Okonia, Mariana Bybluka i in. Podkreślono perspektywę podejścia mikrohistorycznego, które pozwala spojrzeć na ogólne procesy historii przez pryzmat losów szczególnego człowieka i jego spuścizny pedagogicznej jako elementu przestrzeni międzykulturowej.

    Relacje jaki utrzymywał Oscar Romero z nuncjuszami apostolskimi w Salwadorze miały zmieniającą się dynamikę. Wzrostowi znaczenia Romero w Kościele lokalnym towarzyszyło rosnące zaufanie, jakim się cieszył wśród kolejnych nuncjuszy. Jego doświadczenia – będące konsekwencją trudnej sytuacji społecznej kraju – sprawiły jednak, że relacje te znacznie się pogorszyły, co odbijało się również na postrzeganiu Romero przez Rzym. Pojawiające się trudności nie uniemożliwiały jednak zarówno poszukiwania rozwiązań mających na celu dobro kraju, jak i sposobów łagodzenia napiętych relacji wewnątrzkościelnych.
    Throughout his pastoral ministry, Oscar Romero’s relationship with the apostolic nuncios in San Salvador changed its dynamics. Romero's increasing role in the local Church was accompanied by the growing trust he enjoyed among the successive nuncios. His special experiences, though, which were the result of the difficult social situation of the country, deteriorated these relations significantly, which also affected how he was perceived in Rome. However, these difficulties did not prevent from searching for solutions aimed at the good of the country as well as ways to relieve tense intra-Church relations.

    The Polish–German Treaty of Good Neighbourship and Friendly Cooperation of June 17, 1991 refers to the topics and rules of the Joint Declaration of November 14, 1989. During this period, the efforts to establish an international youth meeting place in the former estate of the anti-Nazi oppositionist Helmuth James von Moltke in Kreisau (Krzyżowa) in Lower Silesia were intensified. The article analyzes this example of mutual interactions between civil society initiative and government diplomacy.

As a member of UNDO (Ukrainian National Democratic Alliance) and journalist of the newspaper “The Dilo” Rudnicki stood on guard of the interests of the Ukrainians, living in the Second Polish Republic. In the first half of the 30s he was one of the animators of standardization policy in very diffi cult Polish-Ukrainian relations.
    У статті досліджено діяльність Івана Keдрина Рудницького — українського письменника й політика міжвоєнного періоду Як член UNDO (Українського національного демократичного об’єднання) та журналіст газети „Діло” І. Рудницький захищав інтереси українців, які проживали в ІІ Речі Посполитій (РП). У перш. пол. 30-х років він став одним з аніматорів політики нормалізації складних польсько-українських відносин.
