Mobile technology is an „anywhere, anytime”, creative learning tool that has the potential to support the development of self-regulated learners. The paper presents the concept of a new approach for remote control and monitoring of parameters of mobile or stationary machines in real time on the example of the hydrostatic transmission drive test stand. The proposed system control and monitoring is the mobile system which is closely related with the three applications written in a different programming languages, such as: java (Android) – mobile application runs on the tablet, C language – server application joins xPC Target with tablet, PHP – admin panel to manage mobile control platform. Controlling of the hydrostatic drive stand is implemented using an application installed on the tablet. This application is connected with computer’s real-time (xPC Target) module, generated in Matlab. The computer with xPC Target is equipped with a measuring-control card, to which the control signals are transmitted. This hardware-software component plays the connecting role between machine and operator of the mobile platform installed on the tablet. The application allows observe important parameters such as pressure, volumetric flow rate, temperature, velocity, torque in real-time, as well as, it enable, by use of special graphic slider on the tablet’s screen, to set control parameters such as: speed of electric motor, the opening and switching positions of the directional valve, as well as, setting the load by pressure relief valve. Based on this system research related to the verification of system operation were performed for different setting of the hydrostatic transmission drive speed controller, and selected results are presented in the paper.

Military vehicles and equipment should be designed with regard to ergonomics, which is important for the protection of the crew. Reliable protection can be achieved by constant technological progress and the improvement of materials, enabling resistance of an attack by mines and improvised explosive devices (IED) placed under the vehicle. The explosion of a device under a vehicle represents a great risk for its crew. This paper is about the protection systems that are using in the World and provide a comprehensive and effective protection of the vehicles. The mainly task of these systems is to safe the crew. The paper divides the protective anti-mine system into the external protection system and internal protection system. Each of these two basic groups is nearly specify in the text and there are also application examples for military mobile technology. In the end to sum the paper up there are some approaches to improvement of safety and protection of the vehicles.

Zmiany, które dokonały się na rynku bankowym na przestrzeni ostatnich kilku dekad, stanowią dla banków źródło nowych wyzwań. Rozwój technologii mobilnych ma znaczący wpływ na wiele obszarów ludzkich działań, w tym zachowania na rynku usług bankowych. Upowszechnienie technologii mobilnej zmieniło zarówno sposób przekazywania informacji i komunikacji, jak i zachowania nabywcze klientów. Wszystkie te zmiany powinny być uwzględnianie w procesie poszukiwania źródeł przewagi konkurencyjnej i projektowania modelu biznesowego banku. Celem artykułu jest zaproponowanie założeń modelu biznesowego banku uwzględniających technologię mobilną jako narzędzie dostarczania wartości dla klientów i źródło przewagi konkurencyjnej. Założenia te zostały opracowane na podstawie studiów literaturowych. W artykule przedstawiono analizę modeli biznesowych wykorzystywanych przez banki, dostarczanych w ramach tych modeli propozycji wartości dla klientów oraz ich dopasowania do potrzeb i oczekiwań odbiorców. Analizę podsumowują przesłanki dotyczące wykorzystania technologii mobilnej do dalszego rozwoju modeli biznesowych banków, sformułowane z perspektywy kreowania i dostarczania wartości dla klientów.
During the last few decades, the banking market has changed significantly making banks face new challenges. Mobile technology development has had a powerful impact on all human activities including banking. Mobile technology has changed both the information and communication sharing, as well as customers’ market behaviour. All these changes should be taken into account in the process of searching for competitive advantage factors and designing banks’ business models. The purpose of the paper is to propose the framework for banks’ business model that incorporates using mobile technology and creating a competitive advantage. The foundation of this framework is based on theoretical considerations. The paper analyses contemporary business models used by banks, their value proposals and their relation to customers’ needs and expectations. The research highlights the routes for using mobile technology in the further development of banks’ business models from the perspective of the process of creating and delivering value for customers.

A linear 1×4 antenna array built on the Rogers RT/Duroid 5880 substrate is proposed in this paper to acquire high gain for 5G applications. The proposed design resonates at 38 GHz, i.e. in the Ka-band region, and has small patch dimensions of 5.5×2 mm. The design is simulated using CST studio. The main element consists of X-slot that provides a gain of 6.98 dB with the return loss of –24.25 dB whereas a linear array of 4 elements is made which is fed by the 50Ω m-line using the corporate feeding network which yields a gain of 13.84 dB, as well as the return loss is –15.72 dB. The centreto-centre spacing (d) of elements in the antenna array is 0.8λ.

The article analyzes the impact of new information technology on business, with a special focus on mobile technology. New information technology influences the development of the economy, turning it into what is known as “the new economy” or “the digital economy,” the author says. The article aims to identify contemporary trends influencing the development of the mobile business. The research method used is based on an analysis of secondary data, including publications on the mobile business, in addition to European Union statistics, reports by Polish and international consulting companies and mobile marketing agencies, and data published by leading telecommunications companies. The author sets out to confirm the hypothesis that the introduction of new information technology is one of the most important factors influencing the economic development of many countries, including Poland. The mobile business is entering a new era called the PC+ era and marked by the use of not only general-purpose desktop and laptop computers, but also mobile devices, Sznajder says. Contemporary technology and consumer trends influence the business activities of many companies, especially in the field of marketing. Thanks to mobile information technology, companies can make more effective marketing decisions in areas such as product development, prices, distribution systems and promotion, according to the author. Under such conditions, the interaction of companies with their customers is changing considerably. Companies from different sectors are embracing these trends to improve their competitiveness, the author says. They are developing the mobile business by using both traditional offline methods and modern online methods.
Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja współczesnych trendów wpływających na rozwój biznesu mobilnego, szczególnie na działania marketingowe przedsiębiorstw. Jako metodę badawczą wybrano badania wtórne, polegające na analizie zróżnicowanych informacji z takich źródeł, jak monografie, dotyczące nowych technologii informacyjnych, dane statystyczne Unii Europejskiej, raporty ministerstw gospodarczych, raporty międzynarodowych i polskich firm konsultingowych, agencji marketingu mobilnego oraz dane największych firm telekomunikacyjnych. Efektem analizy, przeprowadzonej w artykule jest potwierdzenie tezy, że następuje szybki wzrost zastosowania technologii mobilnych w biznesie, szczególnie w działaniach marketingowych. Na ten rozwój wpływa zarówno szybki rozwój mobilnych technologii informacyjnych, jak też zmiany w zachowaniach nabywców na rynku, do których przedsiębiorstwa różnych branż muszą się dostosować. Ponieważ konsumenci coraz częściej korzystają z tych urządzeń także w dostępie do Internetu, to przedsiębiorstwa muszą tę tendencję uwzględniać. Dzięki technologiom mobilnym przedsiębiorstwa mogą podejmować bardziej skuteczne działania marketingowe, dotyczące wszystkich elementów, czyli kształtowania produktów, cen, dystrybucji i promocji. Zmienia się też sposób interakcji przedsiębiorstw z nabywcami ich produktów. Biznes wkroczył już w taki etap, kiedy coraz większe znaczenie ma korzystanie z urządzeń mobilnych, takich jak telefony komórkowe, czy też smartfony, tablety i e-czytniki. Przedsiębiorstwa różnych branż w coraz większym stopniu wykorzystują tę tendencję i rozwijają biznes mobilny. Szczególnie jest to widoczne w działaniach marketingowych. Musi on być prowadzony łącznie z tradycyjnymi działaniami przedsiębiorstw (off-line) i wykorzystywaniem Internetu (on-line). Taki sposób funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw stwarza dla nich szansę na poprawę konkurencyjności. Wyniki tego badania dają podstawy do podjęcia badań pierwotnych w polskich przedsiębiorstwach.

The purpose of the study was to identify educational effects of a new learning method that integrates mobile-technology-based science learning with activity oriented discovery learning. The major finding of the study was that the mobile technology-based Science program enabled students to learn scientific knowledge through associated activities and creatively apply their knowledge to complete the mission of the learning. Also, the study found that the use of tablet PCs and SNS for scientific inquiry activities facilitated students to learn in fun ways, to collaborate with other students, and to share what they have learned with each other.

This study aimed to investigate the effect of Mobile-Assisted Language Learning (MALL) as compared to paper-based instruction in the development of Iranian EFL elementary learners’ writing skills. The research purpose was threefold: 1) to investigate the effect of MALL on elementary learners’ writing skills; 2) to make a comparison between the obtained results of MALL and pencil-and-paper methods, and 3) to assess elementary students’ attitudes about learner involvement in collaborative learning (CL) settings through mobile phone (MPh) interactions. For this purpose, 30 Iranian EFL elementary students were selected and randomly assigned to two groups: one experimental and one control. While the experimental sample received mobile-based instructions on their writing assignments, the students in the placebo group were provided with only paper-based instruction. The findings revealed that the participants in both groups showed considerable improvement on the immediate and delayed writing post-tests; however, on average, those in the experimental MALL group were shown to have outperformed the students in the control group significantly. Not surprisingly, the learners in the treatment group had made fewer errors on the targeted grammatical structures like the use of adjectives, possessives and simple present tense compared to those in the control sample. Finally, the results of the post hoc interview reflected that MALL learners felt positively about the utility of mobile technology in writing classes. Essentially, the findings could be of great help to EFL teachers, EFL learners, and course designers.

Celem artykułu jest przegląd aktualnych badań dotyczących kształtowania relacji z pasażerami w branży lotniczej oraz ich krytyczna analiza nastawiona na wskazanie związków pomiędzy wykorzystaniem technologii mobilnych w branży lotniczej i budowaniem relacji z pasażerami. W artykule podjęto próbę identyfikacji czynników, które umożliwiają nawiązanie relacji z pasażerem za pomocą technologii mobilnych przez linie lotnicze i lotniska w zależności od jego potrzeb.
Nowadays, people are focused on services and the use of mobile technology. An always connected traveller is a new example of an aviation passenger. Therefore, airline and airports needed to redefin their services. They have been building a new, mobile relationship with passengers at each stage of the journey. Mobile technologies have become a standard of customer relationship management as well as social media usage in the aviation industry.

This text presents and discusses results of empirical research conducted during 3 school semesters (1.5 of school year) in a primary school in Poland. The research focused on the introduction of tablets (iPads) to didactic design and aimed at the observation of learning processes of the entire school community in connection with the appearance of a new educational actor. We used a qualitative research approach, mainly video-ethnography (60 hours of recorded material). This research approach resulted in the identification of maps of teaching and learning practices and their meanings in the changing school field.

Our research note reports the results of a qualitative and quantitative evaluation of the pilot edition of the Coding Masters Junior program, conducted in 2015 by Centrum Cyfrowe: Projekt Polska. It focuses on the results of a semantic analysis for the keyword “tablet” of the IDIs conducted with parents of preschoolers. The analysis has shown, among others, that in many households tablet is seen as belonging to the domain of the child, its property (toy). At the same time, quantitative research reveals that in 26% of tablet-owning households the device is not made available to the child. This strong polarization of practices shows that tablets remain a terra incognita to a significant group of parents, one they often have no wish to explore.

Environmental education in primary schools has not built sufficient awareness in formal-informal learning experience. The development of seamless learning is an alternative innovation in building students’ learning experiences. However, there is limited research on its implementation in the learning process in elementary schools with limited mobile technology. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to develop instructional design and learning planning matrices for seamless learning on teachers’ and students’ activities to facilitate formal and informal learning with limited use of mobile technology in elementary schools. Based on the instructional design and learning planning matrices developed, the context reconstruction in a seamless learning design was successfully used in guiding the teachers’ and students’ activities. The limitations of mobile technology in the schools could be replaced with the use of learning laboratories, as well as parents’ support at home. Furthermore, the instructional design and learning matrix developed were feasible, valid, and practical in application in elementary schools. Therefore, the community has a vital role to play in improving students’ learning experiences aside from schools.

Popularyzacja i rozwój mediów społecznościowych oraz technologii mobilnych spowodowały widoczne zmiany zachowań współczesnych konsumentów oraz w istotnym stopniu wpłynęły na kształt procesów zakupowych. Media społecznościowe i powstałe na ich bazie społeczności konsumenckie sprawiły, iż nabywcy są bardziej świadomi swoich możliwości i decyzji zakupowych, mogą też w coraz większym stopniu oddziaływać na ofertę rynkową. Urządzenia mobilne z dostępem do Internetu istotnie wzbogaciły możliwości pozyskiwania informacji o produktach i usługach oraz pozwoliły na dokonywanie zakupów online w dowolnym czasie i miejscu. Widoczny jest również wpływ wspomnianych rozwiązań na tzw. ścieżkę zakupową, w skład której wchodzą kolejne etapy prowadzące do zakupu produktu lub usługi przez nabywcę. W pierwszej części artykułu omówiono najnowsze trendy (na świecie oraz w Polsce) związane z dynamicznym rozwojem i popularyzacją mediów społecznościowych i technologii mobilnych. Zwrócono uwagę na coraz bardziej widoczne przenikanie się obu rozwiązań oraz wynikający z tego regularny wzrost liczby tzw. active mobile social users, czyli internautów, którzy korzystają z mediów społecznościowych za pośrednictwem urządzeń mobilnych. W następnej kolejności przedstawiono trendy związane z zachowaniami współczesnych nabywców w kontekście społecznościowym i mobilnym oraz scharakteryzowano nowy typ konsumenta, który można określić jako konsumenta digitalnego. Główna część artykułu dotyczy wpływu mediów społecznościowych i technologii mobilnych na tzw. ścieżkę zakupową. Jej tradycyjny kształt uległ istotnym przekształceniom dostosowującym ją do nowej rzeczywistości rynkowej. W związku z tym w artykule dokonano analizy zakresu oraz przyczyn tych zmian, a także wskazano, co one oznaczają dla współczesnych konsumentów i przedsiębiorstw.

The main goal of this paper is to identify the barriers of mobile technology application from the perspective of individual users on the basis of author’s own research. The study shows a short characterization of the mobile technology market, and operators of the services of which examined most often are using. An essential part of this article was devoted to barriers applying these technologies is coming across which. The gained results were summarized and discussed.

The main goal of this article is to present the barriers faced by mobile technology from the individual users’ perspective. The paper bases on the author’s own research conducted in 2017 among the students of the Warsaw University. The article presents a short description of the mobile technology market both in the context of the home market and worldwide. The main part of the paper is devoted to a detailed discussion of the barriers associated with the use of mobile technologies and the presentation of results.

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja korzyści wynikających z wdrożonego rozwiązania technologii mobilnej mającej na celu wspomaganie selektywnej zbiórki odpadów na terenach gmin. Przedstawiono aktualne obowiązki gmin w zakresie gospodarki odpadami skategoryzowane w ramach realizowanych funkcji wynikających z ustawy o utrzymaniu czystości i porządku w gminach. Zaprezentowano rozwiązania w zakresie organizacji zbiórki odpadów, edukacji społeczeństwa, przekazywania informacji i realizacji działań kontrolnych. Zidentyfikowane zostały mankamenty funkcjonujących obecnie systemów zbiórki odpadów komunalnych i na ich podstawie wskazano proponowane rozwiązanie występujących problemów przy wykorzystaniu technologii informacyjnych. Artykuł jest elementem prac, których podstawowym celem jest poprawa efektywności funkcjonowania systemów zbiórki odpadów komunalnych organizowanych przez gminy znajdujące się na terenie Polski.
The aim of the paper is to present the benefits of the application of ICT solution in the collection of municipal waste. In the first part of paper the current responsibilities of municipalities in waste management are presented. Then the main ways of waste collection system design are discussed. Based on our empirical studies we identified the solution of currently functioning municipal was collection system and their disadvantages. In the last part of paper the description of “kiedywywoz.pl” project is briefly given. The presented research are the first step of works whose primary purpose is to improve the efficiency of the systems municipal waste collection organized by the municipalities located on Polish territory.

The aim of the paper is to present the concept of mobile technology management in healthcare. The paper puts emphasis on application of mobile devices in provision of data indispensable for processing it by big data solutions and underlines relation between mobile technology and big data. Nowadays mobile devices generate large volumes of different types of data which can be analyzed by specialized analytical systems. Data analyses based on gathered by mobile devices data and conducted by mentioned solutions technology bring many advantages for patients, doctors and for the functionality of health care units. The paper presents characteristics of information systems of health care units with its division into white and grey part. It further presents the notion and benefits of m-Health and its possible areas of application. The possible areas of big data applications in healthcare units are depicted in the next part of the article. The practical part of the paper embraces the review of selected case studies of mobility management and big data solutions in selected foreign healthcare units.
Celem artykułu jest prezentacja koncepcji zarządzania technologią mobilną w służbie zdrowia. Artykuł kładzie nacisk na zastosowanie urządzeń mobilnych w dostarczaniu danych niezbędnych dla celów ich przetwarzania przez rozwiązania zwane big data i podkreśla relacje występujące między technologiami mobilnymi a rozwiązaniami big data. Obecnie urządzenia mobilne generują ogromne ilości danych różnego typu, które mogą być analizowane przez wyspecjalizowane systemy analityczne. Analizy danych opierające się na danych zebranych przez urządzenia mobilne i przeprowadzone przez wspomnianą technologię przynoszą wiele korzyści pacjentom, lekarzom jak i samym instytucjom opieki zdrowotnej. Artykuł charakteryzuje systemy informatyczne jednostek służby zdrowia z ich podziałem na część szarą i białą. Następnie prezentuje istotę i korzyści rozwiązania m-Health i jego możliwe obszary zastosowań. Natomiast możliwe obszary zastosowań big data w jednostkach służby zdrowia opisano w kolejnej części artykułu. Praktyczna część obejmuje przegląd wybranych studiów przypadku zastosowań big data i zarządzania mobilnością w zagranicznych podmiotach służby zdrowia.

Integration of Information Communication Technology (ICT) products from different manufacturers to provide friendly support for patients and health professionals is a challenge for organizational, legal, and technological interoperability. To empowerment of patients over 65, it is necessary to support them with proper ICT tools. There are many technological solutions in e-Health sector, which do not support the patient’s complex needs and standards. The CareWell project adapted a formula based on the acquisition of commercial ready-made applications that support the functionality defined for patients, doctors, nurses and the Contact Centers (Call Centers). Lessons learned from the CareWell project phases from beginning of the business processes modeling with their modification for the project needs, as well as mapping of the available functionalities of selected IT platforms, work integration and implementation, are discussed in the paper.
Integracja produktów informatycznych pochodzących od różnych producentów w celu dostarczenia przyjaznych usług pacjentom i pracownikom ochrony zdrowia stanowi wyzwanie w zakresie rozwiązania problemów interoperacyjności organizacyjnej, prawnej i technologicznej. Aby pomóc pacjentom powyżej 65 roku życia, konieczne jest wsparcie ich potrzeb zdrowotnych technologiami ICT (ang. Information Communication Technology). Istnieje wiele rozwiązań technologicznych w sektorze e-Zdrowia, które jednak nie obsługują złożonych potrzeb z uwzględnieniem standardów. Project CareWell przyjął formułę realizacji opartą na nabyciu gotowych aplikacji, które pozwalają na realizacje zdefiniowanych funkcji do obsługi pacjentów, lekarzy i pielęgniarek oraz centrali kontaktowych call center. W pracy omówiono główne wnioski z realizacji poszczególnych faz projektu od początku zamodelowania procesów biznesowych, konieczną ich modyfikację dla potrzeb projektu, jak również mapowanie dostępnych funkcjonalności integrowanych wybranych platform IT.

Nowadays mobile solutions seem to be one of the fastest growing sectors of information and communication technologies. It is therefore not surprising that mobile solutions technology is the source of inspiration for practitioners and theorists studying the various levels of human life. This trend also applies to the libraries, but implementation of mobile solutions in the libraries is not a simple task. An interesting aspect of research appears to determine whether libraries need such a solution at all. And if so, how broad access should be provided to the information services. Getting this type of information it would be best to ask the users themselves.
Rozwiązania mobilne wydają się obecnie jednym z najszybciej rozwijających się sektorów technologii informacyjno-komunikacyjnych. Nie dziwi zatem, że w ostatnim czasie wzbudzają zainteresowanie praktyków i teoretyków badających różne płaszczyznach życia człowieka. Wskazana tendencja dotyczy także bibliotek, jednakże wdrożenie w bibliotekach tego typu rozwiązań nie jest zadaniem prostym. Ciekawym aspektem badawczym wydaje się więc, czy dla biblioteki takie rozwiązanie jest w ogóle potrzebne? A jeśli tak, to w jak szerokim zakresie powinno umożliwiać dostęp do jej serwisów informacyjnych? O tego typu informacje najlepiej zapytać oczywiście samych użytkowników, co ilustruje niniejszy artykuł.

Background: The efficiency of logistics processes is a very important decision-making aspect, both from financial point of view as well as in terms of processes at the operational level. Taking into account both the specific features of a cold supply chain as well as conditions of the comprehensive analysis of the efficiency of logistics processes, the significant aspect is the elaboration of the concept, which will allow to monitor and estimate realized processes with the possibility to obtain date in real time. The aim of this paper is to present the concept of monitoring of processes performed in a cold supply chain. Methods: The results of researches conducted in Polish companies in the first half of 2016 year as well as the literature review show the unsatisfied level of the use of the analysis of efficiency of logistics processes. These results were used to select conditions influencing the complexity of the analysis of efficiency of logistics processes. The researches were conducted in 152 logistics companies located in Wielkopolska voivodship. Results: The business product BluTrack of the Blulog company is the result of the elaborated concept. Various variants of the implementation of this tool in practice served as the methodology of the verification of the complexity of the implementation of this concept in monitoring and management of the cold supply chain. Conclusions: The analysis of efficiency of logistics processes is still not unambiguously defined despite many scientific studies. It causes problems in the business practice. The uniqueness of the cold supply chain introduces additional variables and criteria of estimation of efficiency of logistics processes. The presented study put the main focus on the use of mobile technologies for efficient monitoring and evaluation of efficiency of logistics processes in the cold supply chain. The result of the verification of the presented concept was the preparation of the tool, having the desired functionalities for the business practice.
Wstęp: Efektywność procesów logistycznych jest bardzo ważnym aspektem decyzyjnym nie tylko w ujęciu finansowym, ale również w ujęciu procesowym na poziomie operacyjnym. Uwzględniając zarówno specyfikę cold supply chain, jak również uwarunkowania kompleksowej analizy efektywności procesów logistycznych, niezmiernie istotnym aspektem jest opracowanie koncepcji umożliwiającej monitorowanie i ocenę realizowanych procesów z możliwością pozyskiwania danych w czasie rzeczywistym. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie koncepcji monitorowania procesów realizowanych w cold supply chain. Metody: Wyniki badań w polskich przedsiębiorstwach przeprowadzonych w I półroczu 2016 roku oraz badań literaturowych, świadczą o niezadowalającym stopniu wykorzystania analiz efektywności procesów logistycznych. Na ich podstawie dokonano wyboru i zestawienia czynników wpływających na kompleksowość analizy efektywności procesów logistycznych. Badania w 152 przedsiębiorstwach logistycznych z województwa wielkopolskiego. Wyniki: Wynikiem opracowanej koncepcji jest produkt biznesowy BluTrack firmy Blulog. Poszczególne warianty zastosowania tego narzędzia w praktyce gospodarczej posłużyło jako metodologia weryfikacji kompleksowości zastosowania niniejszej koncepcji w monitorowaniu i zarządzaniu łańcuchem zimna. Wnioski: Analiza efektywności procesów logistycznych pomimo licznych odniesień literaturowych, wciąż jest niejednoznacznie zdefiniowana. Utrudnia to jej wykorzystanie w praktyce gospodarczej przedsiębiorstw. Specyfika łańcucha zimna wprowadza dodatkowe zmienne i kryteria oceny efektywności procesów logistycznych. W niniejszym artykule skoncentrowano się na prezentacji koncepcji wykorzystania technologii mobilnych w celu skutecznego monitorowania i oceny efektywności procesów logistycznych w łańcuchu zimna. Weryfikacja przedstawionej koncepcji skutkowała opracowaniem narzędzia, realizującego założone funkcjonalności w praktyce biznesowe

W artykule przedstawiono nową koncepcję inteligentnych systemów obustronnej głosowej komunikacji urządzeń pomiarowych z operatorem w systemach pomiarowych. Opracowany dla technologii mobilnych, system komunikacji przy pomocy mowy i języka naturalnego pomiędzy urządzeniami pomiarowymi i ich operatorami, wyposażony jest w inteligentne mechanizmy służące do identyfikacji operatora, rozpoznawania słów składowych i całych komunikatów operatora, analizy składni i skutków poleceń, oceny bezpieczeństwa poleceń, nadzorowania procesu pomiarowego oraz oceny reakcji operatora.
In the paper a new concept of the intelligent two-way speech communication system between a measurement device and the operator for measuring systems is presented. Developed for mobile technologies, the communication system by speech and a natural language between measurement devices and their operators consists of intelligent mechanisms for operator identification, speech recognition, word and command recognition, command meaning and effect analysis, command safety assessment, measurement process supervision as well as operator reaction assessment. In the paper there are presented selected problems of the new concept of speech communication in measurement systems (Figs. 1, 2, 3) as well as advantages of recognition and evaluation of speech commands in a natural language with use of hybrid neural networks. Application of hybrid neural networks allows recognising commands of similar meanings but of different lexical and grammatical patterns, which will undoubtedly be the most important way of communication between humans and devices. The condition of the effectiveness of the presented system (Fig. 4) is to equip it with mechanisms of command meaning and effect analysis, as well as safety assessment. In the measurement systems (Fig. 5), the condition of safe communication between operators and measurement devices is the analysis of the measurement device and process state before giving the command and use of artificial intelligence for the effect analysis and safety assessment of the command. The development of a basis for building and applying remote mobile systems of control, supervision and optimisation of measurement processes which communicate an operator with a measurement system is an important goal. These systems enable a remote control of the measurement process quality by an operator being in any distance. It is very significant for development of new effective and flexible methods of measurements. The system for remote control, supervision and optimisation is an innovative solution making it possible to exploit better the measurement methods used nowadays. The presented solution can be included to the attempts of creating the standard of mobile applications for control, supervision and optimisation of measurement processes using two-way speech communication between the measurement device and the operator for measuring systems.
