The problem of landscape evaluation for the bicycles road is not a new one from the point of view of landscape architects, yet, unfortunately, not taken under consideration by town planners responsible for realization of those plans. There are numerous methods of landscape evaluation and most of them are based on map backing which involves only two dimensions excluding the third oneheight, i.e. the one which is actually recognized by an average man staying inside the analised area. In this way the space surrounding us and its sequences remain disregarded. Therefore, there is a need to work out such a method of investigation which will satisfactorily include all three dimensions.

Opis:
Transport of goods is of great importance in socio-economic life of societies. In Poland, where the power industry is based partially on bituminous coal extracted in mines of Upper Silesia, the transportation of coal is of great significance. The coal transportation acquires special importance in the corridor of the Odra River, where the Power Station Opole, Kogeneracja Wrocław, industrial complex of Power Station Dolna Odra, and numerous other industrial companies, that rely on such energy carrier are located. Location (intentional) of coal consumers, as well as historical determinants, created the chance of functioning of alternative transport systems: rail and inland waterborne ones. Intuitive interest in inland waterborne transportation as mass transportation that is cheaper and safer for natural environment, is the subject of present paper. Main objective is the presentation of the method for evaluation of so-called external costs in multimodal transportation of coal including the non-alternative rail transport between coal mines and the port of Gliwice, and inland waterborne transportation from the port of Gliwice to the consumers located by the Odra River.

In the presented study, researchers consider if the evaluation method impacts early education students’ results and their beliefs about themselves. The results prove significant relation between the method of evaluation and students’ results (with the same questions). The reliability of evaluation depends on the type of diagnosed skills (language or mathematical skills). In an oral examination in the presence of the class, children achieve better results in the linguistic test. Higher scores on mathematical tests were noted in the case of written exams. Research conclusions could be used as a hint for early education teachers and an interesting area for other studies and consideration.

This paper describes questions, which are connected with possibility of obtaining the dispersion of traction and transport vehicles (TTV) noisiness computation on the stage of its development. Experimental data shows that noise around TTV and at operator workplace has wide dispersion of values for even one model produced by one factory at the same time. It concerns practically every type of TTV – new and with some operating time, at mass, individual and serial producing, and at similar operation conditions. Mathematical functions for determination of dispersion mentioned above in dependence on confidence interval of various sources noisiness were obtained. The general method for assessment of probabilistic dispersion of estimated noisiness results is presented. This general method for probabilistic dispersion of computational evaluation of TTV noisiness consists of next stages: assessment of dispersion (confident interval) of acoustic power of each separate noise source; determination of computational function (choice or compiling formulas for computation); determination of dispersion (confident interval) for sound absorption coefficients and other independent variables; determination of partial derivatives for computational function on each independent variable; obtaining of functional dependence of result dispersion of input factors (arguments); calculating of numerical assessment value of TTV noisiness determination result.

This work presents a practical and effective method to evaluate the reliability status of an object basing on the observation ofchanges in its functioning (automatics) and its technical condition (diagnostics). It has been observed that changes of the functioning condition potential could serve to determine the symptoms of transient (momentary) damages and the changes in the potential of the technical condition to determine the symptoms of parametric damages (non-total). Such an information, as it turns out, is sufficient to calculate reliability characteristics before dangerous catastrophic damages occur and to calculate reliability characteristics for every single object without having to deal with a numerous set of objects. Prezentowany artykuł ma (w zamierzeniu autorów) wzbogacić metodykę oceny tak istotnego obszaru organizacji, jakim jest kapitał ludzki poprzez ocenę ryzyka personalnego. Rozpoczęliśmy od zdefiniowania samego kapitału ludzkiego i ryzyka personalnego. Dalej przedstawiono uzasadnienie podjętej problematyki. Podstawowa część artykułu zawiera omówienie metody – jej etapów i procedur realizacji. Wyróżniono trzy etapy: • identyfikacja obszarów ryzyka personalnego organizacji i potencjalnych niekorzystnych zdarzeń w każdym obszarze, • ocena poziomu ryzyka personalnego (prawdopodobieństwo wystąpienia niekorzystnych zdarzeń, skala przewidywanych negatywnych ich skutków, syntetyczna ocena ryzyka), • kierunki ograniczania ryzyka personalnego organizacji. Przedstawiono też projekty konstrukcji narzędzi badawczych tak, by w każdym przypadku dać możliwość opracowania kwestionariuszy „szytych na miarę”, dopasowanych do potrzeb analizowanej grupy pracowników i organizacji.
In the article we present a new method of evaluation of personal risk. It is very useful from theoretical and empirical point of view. This paper describes three steps and procedures of the method: • identification the places of personal risk and potential negative events in this places, • evaluation of personal risk level, • the attitudes of organizations toward personal risk. We also proposed the patterns of questionnaires as the tools of researches.

Na przykładzie modelowego gospodarstwa rolnego o powierzchni 36 ha UR przedstawiono ocenę techniczną i ekonomiczną jego działalności. Oceny dokonano stosując technologiczną metodę przestawiania się gospodarstwa na produkcję metodami ekologicznymi. Zastosowano odpowiednio projektowane karty technologiczne, co pozwoliło nie tylko na dobór odpowiedniego zestawu maszyn rolniczych, ale także na określenie zakresu usług produkcyjnych i handlowych. Efektywność działalności gospodarstwa oszacowano metodą bilansowo-kalkulacyjną sporządzając bilans dochodów i zysków wg kategorii produkcji i wg przychodów i rozchodów.
Technical and economical assessment of an agricultural farm activity was made on the base of a model farm of the area of 36ha of arable land. Evaluation measurements were carried out by using technological method of transformation of the farm production activity into organic method. There were designed special technological cards which enabled both - projecting suitable agricultural machines assemblies, and determination of the range of production and commercial service to be carried out by an organic farm. The effectiveness of the farm activity was assessed using balance and calculation method, by drawing up balance sheet of outcomes according to the category of production and according to incomes and expenditures account stated in PLN currency.

The aim of the research was to create such a calculation model for the air defense efficiency that will enable to determine the degree of implementation of the task by anti-aircraft defense forces in combat conditions. The innovative approach to the efficiency of air defense presented in the article focuses on the methods and algorithms enabling the assessment of the feasibility of the air defense task. In its general form, it is based on the determination of the probable number of air assault assets intended for the implementation of an air task (destruction, incapacitation, disorganization of the cover object) and the possibility of air defense sets (means) to repel an air attack. The research was conducted with the use of qualitative methods – when determining the elements of protection or tactical and technical data. The results of the presented research can be implemented in the command process in air defense.

Analizowano parametry doju różnych aparatów udojowych przy pulsacji jednoczesnej i przemiennej oraz przy użyciu kolektorów odpowiednio o pojemności 310 cm3 i 480 cm3. Dla każdego wariantu stosowano cztery zestawy gum strzykowych o zróżnicowanej konstrukcji. Metoda oceny punktowej parametrów pracy pozwoliła na ich oszacowanie w aspekcie zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa doju w aspekcie wymagań norm ISO i zaleceń IDF.
Milking parameters of various milking units have been analyzed of simultaneous and alternate pulsation with the use of claws of respective capacity 310 cm3 and 480 cm3. Four sets of liners of different construction were used for each variant. Evaluation of functioning parameters enabled their assessment in respect of milking security in relation to ISO and IDF requirements.

In 428 samples of silage the pH value was determined with the use of test paper and a pH - meter N-517. The level of NH₃ was determined with Conway method and with the indicatory method. The level of sugar uas determined with Glucotest and the content of acids (lactic, acetic, butyric) with Lepper method. Qn the baeie of the results statistic correlations were calculated and that allowed to work out a new method of silage quality evaluation. This method is based on the use of indicatory methods to indicate pH, NH₃ and sugar. The achieved data get points and the score is the base of classifying the silage to a proper class.
В 428 образцах силосов определили величину рН применяя реактивную бумажку и рН-метр N-517. Уровень аммиака определили методом Конвея и показательным методом. Уровень сахара определили применяя глюкотекст а также содержание кислот (масляной, уксусной, молочной) по методу Леппера. На основе полученных результатов определили статистические взаимозависимости, которые позволили разработать новую оценку качества силоса. Оценка эта опирается на применению показательных методов для определения рН, аммиака и сахара, полученные величины получают балльную характеристику и их сумма является основой для отнесения силоса к определенному классу.

W artykule przedstawiono metodę oceny jakości warstw w odniesieniu do metod wytwarzania systemów aerologicznych na powierzchniach zewnętrznych i wewnętrznych rur grubościennych mających zastosowanie między innymi w produkcji luf broni strzeleckiej. Na przykładzie badań nad technologiami cieplno-chemicznymi, opracowanymi w IMP, zaprezentowano wyniki oceny jakości warstw azotowanych na wewnętrznych powierzchniach przewodu luf kalibru 5,56 mm oraz powłok wytwarzanych metodą PVD dla rur o średnicy powyżej 30 mm. Przedstawiono możliwości szybkiej i precyzyjnej oceny jakości i struktury warstw oraz powłok na szlifie sferycznym wykonywanym przy użyciu Kulotestera i skośnym wykonywanym w okolicy śladów odcisków pomiarów twardości wg nowej metody badawczej Baltest-M, która stanowi uzupełnienie stosowanych badań w inżynierii powierzchni, szczególnie dla oceny plastyczności warstw. Przykłady stosowania nowej metody odniesiono do klasycznych metalograficznych technik oceny jakości warstw i powłok otrzymywanych metodami regulowanego azotowania gazowego oraz chromowania elektrolitycznego.
The paper presents a method for evaluating the quality of the layers in relation to the methods of manufacturing aerological systems on internal and external surfaces of a pipe applicable to production of barrels of small arms. For example, research on technologies of thermo-chemical, developed in the Institute of Precision Mechanics (Warsaw, Poland), presented the results of the assessment of the quality of nitrided layers on the inner surfaces of the barrel caliber 5.56 mm, PVD coatings for pipes with a diameter greater than 30 mm. The possibilities of rapid and precise evaluation of the quality and the structure of layers and coatings on spherical cut using “Kulotester”, and on diagonal cut performed around the traces of indents of hardness measurements with the new test method Baltest-M, which is complementary to research in surface engineering, especially for the evaluation of layers ductility. Examples of application of a new method were referred to classical metallographic techniques for assessing the quality of layers and coatings obtained by the methods of controlled gas nitriding, carbonitriding, and chromium plating bath

W artykule przedstawiono metody wykorzystujące liczby rozmyte bazujące na trzech scenariuszach przepływów finansowych. Metody zobrazowano przykładem związanym z górnictwem węgla kamiennego.
During the economic crisis, companies look for new methods of valuation and evaluation of investment projects. New methods should take into account both risk and flexibility in decision making. The study shows the method which uses fuzzy numbers based on three scenarios of financial flows. The method is outlined in the example associated with mining coal.

The article presents the method of evaluation of the availability of the utilization subsystem in a transport system. The method includes the defining and comparison of the values of the availability of the utilization subsystem to the value of the required availability. The article also deals with the way of defining the minimum availability of an individual technological object (means of transport) as well as the minimum number of technological objects used in the system, in order for the obtained value of the availability of the utilization subsystem to exceed the value of the required availability determined by the parameters of transport task. The values of the availability of the utilization subsystem are defined according to the availability of an individual technological object, the number of objects used in the system as well as the structure by which the individual technological objects are linked. The availability of the individual technological object was defined on the basis of a constructed mathematical model of the utilization process realized in the tested transport system. Then, for the utilization data obtained during tests conducted in an existing transport system, the values of the analyzed characteristics were defined. The presented results are the effect of research conducted as part o f a larger research project pertaining to the creation o f a decision-making model of controlling the availability of a transport system.

The Servperf method (Service Performance) is an interesting method of the service quality analysis. It was created as a contrast proposal to the Servqual method. The purpose of this chapter is to assess quality of services offered by one translation office which is located in Czestochowa. For this purpose, the method Servperf, which in contrast to other methods for assessing the quality of services, takes into account only the perception of the service, and thus avoids the subjectivity of the assessment from the side of customers. The research took the form of survey, which was filled in on the Internet by customers of the translation office, after delivery of its services. Translation services are very popular popularity recently, while competition in the market is large. Therefore, customers are looking for information on the quality of such services.
