The application of different language resources in professional communication reveals the role of cognition in information processing, the interpretive function of language in knowledge construction, and the interrelation of linguistic and extra-linguistic environments. The aim of the present paper is to examine the development of the language of science and the way it is influenced by history, technology, media, genre, and culture. Integrating cognitive approach and pragmatic analysis, the ways of meaning creation and meaning extension have been studied in the popular science texts. Creative thinking and imagination are considered responsible for innovative, creative and insightful thought in general, and, sometimes, for a much wider range of mental activities.

Przekazy określane jako memy internetowe zaczynają stanowić istotne zjawisko we współ- czesnej kulturze. Są to różnego rodzaju obrazki, zdjęcia, filmy, teksty, a także rozmaite ich połączenia, które użytkownicy internetu rozsyłają pomiędzy sobą, bez udziału oficjalnych instytucji nadawczych. Memy internetowe są tworzone i rozpowszechniane przy użyciu technologii cyfrowych i internetu, a materiałem, z którego powstają, są wszystkie publicznie dostępne teksty kultury. Memy są często także komentarzem do bieżących spraw publicznych. Zwykle nie są elementem kultury masowej, ponieważ są zrozumiałe tylko w grupach użytkowników o określonych zainteresowaniach.
The messages known as internet memes become an important phenomena in contemporary culture. These are various pictures, films or texts and their remixes. Internet users send these messages to each other regardless of institutional media broadcasters. They create and broadcast internet memes using the digital technologies and the Internet. The internet memes may be sometimes comments to public affairs or manifestations of engagement in some spheres of culture.

Ponadto Cerkiew w obrzędach poświęcenia pokarmów i płodów ziemi w przeciągu roku liturgicznego uświęca materię i cały świat.
The article attempts to present the mystical meaning of food. Through food, the bond between God and man is broken, through food, which is the Eucharist, this bond is restored. Moreover, during the liturgical year, the Church sanctifies the matter and the whole world in the rites of blessing the food and produce of the earth.

Research into the phraseological component of dialects in different Ukrainian areas is especially relevant due to the fact that during the last decade the phraseology of dialects has been studied very intensively, despite all the difficulties connected with collecting dialect material and the unrefined methods of their researching. The article is devoted to the structural/semantic description of phraseological units with phytomyn components, which make up the phraseologic/semantic line “unclever, stupid”. The source for this research was material from dictionaries, phrasal dictionaries, and from collections of modern words from three dialects of the Ukrainian language. Analysis of phraseological units and their components in space allowed for the determination of either non-fixed phrases or the absence of their expected components, the firmness of different dialectal phenomena, and system phenomena within phraseology.

John Paul II developed a very profound and mystical teaching on redemption, mainly paschal one. Jesus Christ is man's only Redeemer: Redemptor hominis, and through man as the center of all creation He is also the Redeemer of the world: Redemptor mundi. Redemption in its essence is reconciliation of the human person with the Person of God the Father and with the whole Holy Trinity. Redemption on earth is incarnated in Jesus Christ, that is redemption is Jesus Christ, God – Man. It has the character of a personal tie between God's Love and Charity and a loving response from man. Through Love in redemption God creates man anew, so that redemption is in a sense an act of new creation. Owing to this the redeemed man finds his essence in Christ and is fulfilled in Christ in a supreme way. Redemption gives us freedom owing to the revelation of Truth.

Jacek Poniedziałek’s book is devoted to issues extremely important and current. Exploration of the social identity formation process, including a regional identity, has now a great importance not only from a cognitive point of view. Transformational changes in Poland after 1989 meant not only profound changes in the system of public authorities and the economic system. They also had a signifi cant impact on the consciousness of Polish society and its attitude towards the state, power apparatus, and the most important problems of collective life. Extremely important direction of changes in the public authority model became a more and more articulated desire for decentralization and deconcentration of unified and the indivisible sphere of state power so far.

W rozdziale omówiono zagadnienia odnoszące się do wyjaśnienia, czym są wymiary i modele kulturowe. Przedstawiono także w wy- starczającym zarysie wyniki badań ekspertów z dziedziny komuni- kacji międzykulturowej i ich znaczenie dla lepszego zarządzania or- ganizacjami oraz budowania partnerskich i długofalowych relacji. Natomiast dla wzbogacenia i zrozumienia meritum, opisane zosta- ły autentyczne doświadczenia badaczy, dzięki którym można ujrzeć odmienny kulturowy wzorzec postępowania na identyczną sytuację. Ponadto przedstawione przykłady wykazały jak silnie zróżnicowa-ne kulturowo są kraje. Dlatego też wskazano, że prowadzenie badań mających na celu identyfikowanie wszystkich elementów podobnych i kontrastowych, aktualizowanie ich i umieszczenie na mapach wy- miarów kulturowych świata jest sprawą ważną i nie tylko służy ich uporządkowaniu. Rezultatem tych działań staje się bowiem prak- tyczny przewodnik po wartościach, normach i zwyczajach, które jako głównie aprobowane w danym kraju przejawiają się w zachowaniach biznesowych partnerów. Natomiast celem tych badań, oprócz rozwi- jania kompetencji interkulturowych jest również przyczynianie się do poszerzania granic tolerancji, świadomości różnorodności myślenia, gotowości do akulturacji, elastyczności w zachowaniach, a co najważ- niejsze międzykulturowej empatii.
In this paragraph were discussed issues relating to explain what are the dimensions and cultural models. Here are presented summary results of the expert’s research in the field of intercultural communication and its importance for better management of organizations and build long- term partnerships and relationships. For enriching the understanding of the point, were described authentic experiences of researchers, or examples of situations, so you can see the different cultural pattern of conduct on the same situation.Furthermore presented examples showed how strongly culturally di- verse countries one another. Therefore it’s indicated that research in or- der to identify all similar and contrasting elements, updating them and placing on the map of cultural dimensions of the world is an impor- tant issue not only serves their ordering. The result of these actions is in fact a practical guide to the values, norms and habits, which are mainly approved in each country, appears in the behavior of business partners. However, the purpose of this research, in addition to developing inter- cultural competence is also a cause to expand the boundaries of toler- ance, awareness of the thinking diversity, willingness to acculturation, flexibility in behavior, and most importantly intercultural empathy.

According to aesthetic theories of Russian symbolist A. Belyj every real art is in its deepest essence a symbolic one, it represents an organic connection of two orders – phenomena of the inner world and the living consciousness. The connection is thus the union of the inner and outer world. Its sense can be unveiled in metaphysics and mystic, the indexes of the way to  a  complex  re-structuring  of  the human  being  and  discovering  new  forms  of  existence. Consequently  Belyj  understands  the symbol  as  the  interaction  of  its  three  parts:  1)  as a picture of the visible reality, causing certain emotions in our consciousness, 2) as an allegory  expressing  the  ideological  meaning  of  the picture  (the  philosophical,  religious  and social meaning) and 3) as an appeal to the creation of the real life. Together with Wagner and Nietzsche, Belyj can see the essential ideals of the culture in antique mystery dramatic art that represented the primary interconnection of all the art forms. Heading to the complex renaissance  of  the  culture  he  concentrates  on  the  phenomenon  of  the  word  – the essential base, „key for unlocking the world”. The essence of the symbolic expression consists of the words,  through  those  the  creative  human  strives  to  express  his  inexpressible  impressions in  a logical  way.  The  living  speech  is  thus  always  certain  „music  of  inexpressible”.  The creative word constitutes new, „third world” – „the world of the sound symbols”. The relationships between the  sounds  and  evolution  of  the  Cosmos  is  formulated  in  another  essay „Глоссолалия– поэма о звуке” (1922).

Celem artykułu jest ukazanie znaczenia wiedzy językoznawczej (koncepcji językoznawczych) w procesie nauczania języka polskiego jako obcego. Wydaje się, że spostrzeżenia te można przenieść także na proces nauczania każdego języka obcego. Glottodydaktyk ukazuje język jako system (strukturalizm): wzorce odmian, końcówki fleksyjne, kategorie słowotwórcze itp., jako narzędzie komunikacji (socjolingwistyka, pragmatyka): nastawienie na zdobycie kompetencji komunikacyjnej, skuteczność, dostosowanie do sytuacji itd., jako źródło kultury i wiedzy o świecie (językowy obraz świata, lingwistyka kulturowa): frazeologizmy, przysłowia, aforyzmy itp. Zatem nie sposób nie zauważać i nie doceniać znaczenia językoznawstwa teoretycznego w metodyce nauczania języków obcych. I tak jak na przestrzeni lat zainteresowania lingwistów badających język przenosiły się na poszczególne jego podsystemy, tak i dzisiaj daje się zauważyć analogiczne przesunięcia w glottodydaktyce. Obecnie w centrum badań lingwistów znajduje się pragmatyka, a glottodydaktyczne nauczanie sprawności właśnie pozostaje w kręgu jej zainteresowań.
The aim of the article is to show the importance of linguistic knowledge (linguistic concepts) in the process of teaching Polish as a foreign language. It seems that these observations can also be transferred to the process of teaching each foreign language. Glottodidactics shows the language as a system (structuralism): patterns of varieties, inflectional terminology, word formation, etc., as a communication tool (sociolinguistics, pragmatics): attitudes towards communication competence, effectiveness, adaptation to situations, etc., as a source of culture and knowledge about the world (language of the world, cultural linguistics): phraseologies, proverbs, aphorisms, etc. Thus, the importance of theoretical linguistics in the methodology of teaching foreign languages can not be overlooked or underestimated. Just as over the years the interest of language linguists has shifted to individual subsystems, so today analogous shifts in glottodidactics can be observed. At present, pragmatics is at the center of linguistic research, and glottodacty teaching of efficiency is in the interest of the linguists.

Deut 22:5 is the only prohibition of transvestitism in the Bible and itscultural environment. The context in which it appears suggests that it wasinserted secondarily, in the period after the Babylonian Exile. This viewnarrows down various speculations concerning the original Sitz im Leben ofthis precept, and it leads one to understand it primarily within the frameworkof the canonical shape of the whole Pentateuch. Accordingly, this regulationmainly refers to the rule of the bisexual division of human nature (Gen 1–2),the rule of preserving the order of creation (not mixing species; Lev 19:19;Deut 22:9-11), as well as the preservation of the procreative force, heremainly related to masculinity (Gen 5:1-3; cf. 1:28; 9:1.7).
