Artykuł przedstawia propozycję zastosowania prostego algorytmu porównywania wzorców dla autonomicznej platformy ruchomej przeznaczonej do wykrywania i niszczenia min lądowych. Głównym urządzeniem wykorzystywanym do akwizycji obrazu jest camera z matrycą CCD. Do przetwarzania obrazu wykorzystana została metoda Scene Matching Area Correlation (SMAC) oparta na algorytmie korelacji wzajemnej. System został przetestowany zarówno w symulacji, jak również podczas prób na pojeździe lądowym. Sprawność algorytmu przetwarzania sygnału podczas testów potwierdziła przydatność opracowanej metody do określania położenia oraz prędkości pojazdu lądowego. System nawigacji wizyjnej oparty na prostym algorytmie przetwarzania obrazu może być zastosowany na pojazdach ruchomych autonomicznie lub jako jeden z komponentów zintegrowanego systemu nawigacyjnego.
An idea of visual navigation system with a simple pattern matching algorithm for autonomous mobile platform for land mines detection and destruction was proposed. A CCD camera is the system's main sensor for image acquisition. A Scene Matching Area Correlation (SMAC) method based on a cross correlation technique is implemented for image processing. The system was tested both in offline simulations and on-board of a land vehicle. The efficiency of the signal processing algorithm during the field tests confirmed efficiency of the methods developed for determination of vehicle position and velocity. A visual navigation system based on simple image processing techniques may be applied on board mobile vehicles in an autonomous way or as a component of integrated navigation system.

The demand for smartphone positioning has grown rapidly due to increased positioning accuracy applications, such as land vehicle navigation systems used for vehicle tracking, emergency assistance, and intelligent transportation systems. The integration between navigation systems is necessary to maintain a reliable solution. High-end inertial sensors are not preferred due to their high cost. Smartphone microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) are attractive due to their small size and low cost; however, they suffer from long-term drift, which highlights the need for additional aiding solutions using road network that can perform efficiently for longer periods. In this research, the performance of the Xiaomi MI 8 smartphone's single-frequency precise point positioning was tested in kinematic mode using the between-satellite single-difference (BSSD) technique. A Kalman filter algorithm was used to integrate BSSD and inertial navigation system (INS)-based smartphone MEMS. Map matching technique was proposed to assist navigation systems in global navigation satellite system (GNSS)-denied environments, based on the integration of BSSD-INS and road network models applying hidden Marcov model and Viterbi algorithm. The results showed that BSSD-INS- map performed consistently better than BSSD solution and BSSD–INS integration, irrespective of whether simulated outages were added or not. The root mean square error (RMSE) values for 2D horizontal position accuracy when applying BSSD-INS-map integration improved by 29% and 22%, compared to BSSD and BSSD-INS navigation solutions, respectively, with no simulated outages added. The overall average improvement of proposed BSSD-INS-map integration was 91%, 96%, and 98% in 2D horizontal positioning accuracy, compared to BSSD-INS algorithm for six GNSS simulated signal outages with duration of 10, 20, and 30 s, respectively.

The new business models involve equally car makers, drivers, passengers, road and railway operators, financial sector (lease, insurance providers, banks), municipalities and governmental road and transport agencies, telecoms, ICT 800 pounds gorillas as well as startups in cooperative design, enhancement, delivery and consumption of mobility services. Will we manage to leverage the global experience, enrich European C-ITS output and avoid being marginalized as pure consumers on new services market?

Opis:
The examples of the applications of the aircraft engines to propulsion of the heavy armored land vehicles are presented in this paper. They provide the power necessary for high mobility of these land vehicles, which have a weight much greater than trucks. These engines were mass produced and thus were readily available. It was easier to repair damaged engines, too. Both spark-ignition and compression-ignition piston engines as well as turbocharged engines were used to propulsion of the armored vehicles. General solutions of the dual-purpose engines for the vehicles during the First and Second World War as well as the engines used nowadays are presented. Attention is also given to the specific solutions of these engine assemblies. Their basic technical and operational parameters are described. The implications of adapting aircraft engines to land vehicles were analyzed.

Wood-based panels are widely used in the transport sector, thanks in particular to their properties in terms of lightness and mechanical strength. Furthermore, they offer additional benefits, such as sound insulation or fire resistance. The present paper takes into account the different wood-based panels used for building the main typologies of land transport vehicles: buses and cars, trucks and other commercial vehicles, motorhomes and caravans, and railways vehicles. The aim here is to give an overview of these products, their historical and current uses, as well as taking into account future developments.

Opis:
The article presents the historical background and development of unmanned land platforms in selected countries, including Russia, Germany, the US and Poland. The author points out the technical problems of combat use of unmanned land platforms, among others, related to the difficulty of operating in the field, control of armaments, and their lower effectiveness compared to unmanned aerial vehicles. In his opinion, the most desirable directions for the development of unmanned land platforms in the areas of operations support and logistics, and the need to turn to higher-weight platforms. In conclusion, the author postulates the thesis that full autonomous combat use of unmanned land platforms is likely to be economically unjustified as well as unprofitable in terms of the combat value of these vehicles in the next few to several years. The author points out the need to develop this technology and use a technological benchmark mainly of US solutions.

The Land and Property Register (LPR) also called the Cadastre by the legislator should function in accordance with regulations in force, meet expectations of the public and provide universal access to Register data for its users. Beyond any doubt, credibility and usefulness of data in this public register are affected by the manner it is kept, which generally includes active and passive approach. If the LPR is kept in an active manner and constantly up to date, its data is very useful. The qualitative aspect of the land and buildings database’s records establishes the calculation accuracy of the owners’ land parcels evidenced in the Land and Mortgage Registers, which protect the ownership right to the property. In order to ensure that the plot of land is unequivocally and correctly measured, it is necessary to establish breakpoints of the parcels’ boundaries in the presence of the interested parties. Research conducted on the possibility of using the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) for measuring purposes indicates immense probability where this technology may be used for the selected details of group I (most accurately located) in modernization of land and buildings registers.

This paper explores the applicability of on-board diagnostics data for minimizing inertial navigation errors in vehicles. The results of driving tests were presented and discussed. Knowledge of a vehicle’s exact initial position and orientation was crucial in the navigation process. Orientation errors at the beginning of navigation contributed to positioning errors. GPS data were not processed by the algorithm during navigation.

The article presents the characteristics of the Ryś and Irbis wheeled armored personnel carriers (Polish abbrev. KTO) designed in Poland. They constituted a deep modernization of the Czechoslovakian SKOT medium wheeled armored transporter. The paper presents the genesis of works on these vehicles and their main contractor, Military Automotive Works No. 5 in Poznań, which has dealt with repairs and modernization of combat vehicles since the 1950s. In the following part, the tactical and technical data of the basic version of the Ryś wheeled armored personnel carriers and special-purpose vehicles based on it are discussed, with particular attention paid to the versions that are of interest to the Ministry of National Defense. Next, the Irbis wheeled armored vehicle, and the special-purpose versions built on its chassis are characterized and presented to the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce.
W artykule zaprezentowana została charakterystyka opracowanych w Polsce transporterów opancerzonych Ryś i Irbis, które stanowiły głęboką modernizację konstrukcji czechosłowackiego transportera opancerzonego SKOT. Przedstawiono genezę prac nad tymi pojazdami oraz ich głównego wykonawcę Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne nr 5 w Poznaniu, które zajmowały się remontami i modernizacją wozów bojowych już od lat pięćdziesiątych XX wieku. W dalszej części omówiono dane taktyczno-techniczne wersji podstawowej transportera opancerzonego Ryś oraz wozów specjalistycznych na jego bazie, ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na wersje będące obiektem zainteresowania resortu Obrony Narodowej. Następnie scharakteryzowano transporter opancerzony Irbis i zbudowane na jego podwoziu odmiany specjalne, które zaprezentowano ma Międzynarodowym Salonie Przemysłu Obronnego w Kielcach.

Concentrations of heavy metals in the soil such as: (Pb, Cd, Zn and Cr), play a role in contamination of agricultural crops such as wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). Roads in the Republic of Kosovo are congested with traffic; in addition, over 55% are more than 20 years old. The agricultural land near roads in Kosovo is cultivated with agricultural products, especially wheat. This study aimed to investigate the concentration of toxic metals in soil and wheat crops due to vehicle emissions. In this research are examined the physico-chemical factors that affect the mobility of metals in the soil of the research area as; pH, concentration of organic carbon and heavy metals such as: (Pb, Cd, Zn and Cr). Analytical research shows that the content of toxic metals decreases with increasing distance or along highways. The concentration tests of toxic metals near roads and lands planted with analyzed agricultural crop of corn showed that heavy metal deposits also depend on atmospheric conditions and emissions from vehicle traffic.
