W artykule zaprezentowano uwagi i spostrzeżenia autora z praktyki budowlanej pełnienia samodzielnej funkcji technicznej kierownika budowy i inspektora nadzoru oraz w pewnym zakresie projektanta. W artykule odniesiono się do projektowania, w tym sprawdzania projektów budowlanych i wykonawczych, także norm w projektowaniu, montażu i pomiarach odbiorczych. Ważną częścią artykułu jest ocena bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy w procesie budowlanym, uwzględniająca specyfikę branży elektrycznej oraz wynikające stąd zagrożenia i wypadki porażenia prądem elektrycznym. Zasygnalizowano oczekiwane przez środowisko wszystkich branż budowlanych zmiany w Ustawie Prawo budowlane z inicjatywy MTBiGM. Autor ma nadzieję, że lektura artykułu skłoni zainteresowanych czytelników do polemicznych wystąpień, na bazie własnych doświadczeń i troski o należną rangę i poziom branży elektrycznej w obszarze budownictwa.
The article presents the author's comments and observations from the practice of self-construction performing a technical function of the site manager and supervisor and to some extent the designer. In this article, reference is made to the design, including verification and implementation of construction projects, including standards for the design, assembly and receiver measurements. An important part of this article is to evaluate the safety and health in the construction process, taking into account the specificity of the electrical industry and the consequent threats and incidents of electric shock. Signaled expected by the environment of all sectors of construction are changes in the Construction Law MTBiGM initiative. The author hopes that the reading of the article will encourage interested readers to polemical speeches, based on their own experiences and concerns with due importance and the level of the electrical industry in the construction industry.

Technics of the Management Managerial of public organizations in the world today is one of the most important strategies of good company and a viable business. Criteria for targeting improvements in a public institution.

The article says that Project Manager (PM) is considered as a profession even though it does not appear in the official profession list of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy. The characteristic of this profession was made on the basis of such elements as: general role of PM, particular tasks which lie in implemented project management methodology and project management competencies. The considerations are based on the literature studies, analysis of job offers and results from interviews conducted among 22 project managers in 2012.

W artykule zostały przedstawione wybrane problemy dotyczące analizy roli kierownika projektu informatycznego. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja zbioru wymagań, jakie należy stawiać kierownikowi projektu informatycznego. Wychodzi się tu z założenia, iż kierownik tego typu projektu jest zarówno menedżerem, jak i twórcą, który realizuje unikalne przedsięwzięcie – projekt informatyczny. Wymagania zostały określone na podstawie analizy literatury przedmiotu, jak i prowadzonych własnych badań w trakcie realizacji dużych projektów informatycznych oraz badań opinii słuchaczy studiów podyplomowych, w tym studiów MBA. Przedstawiono również propozycje badań przyszłościowych.
Article presents selected problems related to an analysis of the IT project manager’s role. Goal of the article is to identify a set of requirements that should be addressed to a potential IT project manager. It has been assumed that a project manager of IT projects should be a manager and a creator who delivers a unique work, which is the IT project. Requirements have been based on the literature analysis, own research in big enterprises and the opinion of postgraduates and MBA students. Additionally the article presents a proposal of future research.

Purpose Both, theorists and practitioners of management emphasize that staff competence increasingly influences the proper operation of modern enterprises. This is significant not only when acquiring satisfactory work efficiency, but in connection to the required level of safety. Methods The aim of the research presented in this article is to determine essential issues in the area of underground coal mines supervisors (middle level managers) with regard to the safety level in coal mines. The research methods include survey, PAPI technique (Paper-and-Pencil-Interviewing) and a questionnaire. Supervisors from three mines participated in the research. The sample test was conducted deliberately, using a proportional scheme including the position in the supervisory department and the department type. Results Analysis of the results allowed for the evaluation of the twelve sub-categories of supervisors competence and knowledge level and their impact on the effectiveness of the maintenance of security. Moreover, the correlation between the determined level of separate competence sub-categories and their influence on the level of safety enabled the prioritization of the level of a lack of competence in reference to proper work safety maintenance. Practical implications The knowledge acquired on supervisors competence is to be applied to the prevention programme as a part of the following programme: "Methods of diagnosis and reduction programme of adverse effects related to the underground use of technical means..." (PBS, NCBiR No 1519/2012). Originality/ value The theoretical section of the article includes the original definition and competence model, as well as a model of compe-tence impact on the safety level in an enterprise. The approach to the research problem is also valuable – the issues of underground coal mines supervisors competence have been for the first time directly connected with the underground safety level.
