In recent years, the concept of involution has been widely spread, and more and more articles begin to use the concept with its extended meanings to discuss social problems in China. However, there is little discussion on the evolving meanings of involution, which makes the use of the concept quite arbitrary. In the early stage of the development of involution, it was a concept based on economic theory and the tendency of the generalization of the concept calls for more systemic discussion across academic disciplines. In order to take a new perspective to understand employee performance, espe-cially some deviant or withdrawal behaviors, this paper analyzes the specific meaning of the concept and the possible psychological fac-tors behind it. After the theoretical discussion of the concept, this paper also tries to seek solutions to effective motivation at workplace.

We introduce a bounded lattice L = (L;∧,∨,0,1), where for each p ∈ L there exists an antitone involution on the interval [p,1]. We show that there exists a binary operation · on L such that L is term equivalent to an algebra A(L) = (L;·,0) (the assigned algebra to L) and we characterize A(L) by simple axioms similar to that of Abbott's implication algebra. We define new operations ⊕ and ¬ on A(L) which satisfy some of the axioms of MV-algebra. Finally we show what properties must be satisfied by L or A(L) to obtain all axioms of MV-algebra.

Opis:
Involution changes are normative consequences of ageing of the organism. They are observed through transformations in the structure of tissues and organs. As age increases, the systemic reorganisation affects the functions (changes in hormonal activity and the number of neurotransmitters) and the structure (gradual brain shrinking) of the central nervous system (CNS). Neurobiological changes are visible in one’s cognitive capabilities, which are nowadays seen as the index of a brain’s potential and plasticity. As a theoretical basis, the model of selective optimisation with compensation and the adaptive-regulatory theory are used. According to them, changes in the elderly age result from natural processes and can be considered as the measures of individual adaptive capability. Taking into consideration the resources possessed in the late adulthood, this article presents a particular point of view on such a topic. Practically speaking, it implies the need to conduct educational and rationalising actions that will improve the living standard of elderly people.
Zmiany o charakterze inwolucyjnym są normatywnym skutkiem starzenia się organizmu. Przejawiają się przekształceniami w budowie tkanek i narządów. Zachodząca wraz z wiekiem reorganizacja ogólnoustrojowa przekłada się na funkcje (zmianę aktywności hormonalnej i ilości neurotransmiterów) i strukturę (stopniowy ubytek masy mózgowia) ośrodkowego układu nerwowego. Wykładnikami zmian neurobiologicznych jednostki są jej możliwości kognitywne, które współcześnie rozpatruje się jako wskaźnik potencjału i plastyczności mózgu. Jako teoretyczną podstawę opisu przyjęto model selektywnej optymalizacji i kompensacji oraz koncepcję regulacyjno-adaptacyjną, zgodnie z którymi zmiany zachodzące w okresie senioralnym wynikają z naturalnych przeobrażeń i można je uznać za miarę możliwości przystosowawczych jednostki. Artykuł stanowi propozycję spojrzenia na okres późnej dorosłości z perspektywy posiadanych zasobów, co w wymiarze praktycznym implikuje do prowadzenia działań edukacyjnych i usprawniających, podnoszących jakość życia seniorów.

The concept of a commutative directoid was introduced by J. Ježek and R. Quackenbush in 1990. We complete this algebra with involutions in its sections and show that it can be converted into a certain implication algebra. Asking several additional conditions, we show whether this directoid is sectionally complemented or whether the section is an NMV-algebra.

Opis:
We deal with congruences on semilattices with section antitone involution which rise e.g., as implication reducts of Boolean algebras, MV-algebras or basic algebras and which are included among implication algebras, orthoimplication algebras etc. We characterize congruences by their kernels which coincide with semilattice filters satisfying certain natural conditions. We prove that these algebras are congruence distributive and 3-permutable.

The ending of the puerperium has place when the first oestrus postpartum gestation is restored. To that end the anatomical and histological uterine involution must be completed and the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis must work properly to allow: oestrus, ovulation, conception, implantation, formation and persistence of corpus luteum of pregnancy. Therefore, early postpartum disorders such as NEB, abnormal gonadotropin secretion, uterine infection and other disorders could have subsequent deleterious effects on oocyte development and competence. However, low BCS coupled with severe NEB during this period suppresses pulsatile LH secretion, reduces ovarian responsiveness to LH stimulation and also reduces the functional competence of the follicle characterized by reduced oestradiol production and ultimately results in delayed ovulation. Normal oestrous cycles in cows coupled with overt signs of oestrus are essential so that insemination can occur at the appropriate time relative to ovulation. Also good nutrition management, environment conditions and welfare can support normal uterine postpartum involution and recurrence of cyclicity.
Okres poporodowy kończy się w momencie wystąpienia pierwszej rui po porodzie. Wcześniej musi się zakończyć anatomiczna i histologiczna inwolucja macicy, a także prawidłowo funkcjonować oś podwzgórzowo-przysadkowo-gonadowa, aby umożliwić ruję, owulację, zapłodnienie, implantację, powstanie i utrzymanie ciążowego ciałka żółtego. Wczesne zaburzenia poporodowe, takie jak ujemny bilans energetyczny (NEB – negative energy balance), anormalna sekrecja gonadotropin, zakażenie macicy i inne zaburzenia mogą mieć szkodliwy wpływ na rozwój i wydolność oocytów. Niska punktowa ocena kondycji krowy (BCS – body condition score) w połączeniu z drastycznym NEB w okresie poporodowym tłumi pulsacyjną sekrecję hormonu luteinizującego (LH – luteinizing hormone), obniża zdolność reakcji jajników na stymulację LH, a także zmniejsza wydolność funkcjonalną pęcherzyków, co charakteryzuje się obniżoną produkcją estradiolu, i wreszcie, powoduje opóźnioną owulację. Normalne cykle rujowe u krów oraz jawne oznaki rui to zasadnicze warunki, aby inseminacja mogła nastąpić we właściwym czasie w stosunku do owulacji. Także dobry system żywienia, prawidłowe warunki środowiskowe i dobrostan zwierząt mogą być czynnikami wspomagającymi normalną poporodową inwolucję macicy i powrót cykliczności rui.

Opis:
It is shown that the absence of a justification for the principle of least action is due to attempts to do this on the basis of the mechanics of conservative systems. It is proposed to substantiate it from the most general positions of energodynamics as the nonequilibrium thermodynamics of multivariant energy-transforming systems, which for the first time introduced specific parameters of the spatial inhomogeneity of such systems as a measure of their deviation from equilibrium. With this approach, the principle of least action becomes a consequence of the aspiration of such systems to equilibrium and the ensuing condition of a minimum moment of momentum distribution in an inhomogeneous velocity field, i.e. work required to maintain the moving system in a stationary nonequilibrium state throughout the process. This determines the validity of this principle for non-conservative systems and for all forms of energy, which greatly expands the scope of its applicability and makes it a universal tool for analyzing real processes.

The authors present the results of the further discussion on the properties of the pencils of the osculating and superosculating conics. Two theorems on the involutory pencils of osculating and supersculating conics and the theorem on the involutory range of points of the second order have been shown. Certain properties and construction of the basic elements of conics have been demonstrated.

I: Jeżeli pęk prostych jest 4’ (a’ , b’ , c’,…) jest pękiem inwolucyjnym, to przyporządkowany mu w przekształceniu kwadratowym E pęk stożkowych ściśle lub nadściśle stycznych jest również pękiem inwolucyjnym. Tw. II: Jeżeli pęk stożkowych ściśle lub nadściśle stycznych jest pękiem inwolucyjnym, to szereg punktów rzędu drugiego, którego elementami są środki stożkowych pęku (p2) jest również szeregiem inwolucyjnym.
