Opis:: The aim of the paper is to present the history of the research of Justinian’s Di- gest’s interpolations as a methodological issue. The emperor admitted that his dependents were also to make necessary ‘amendments’ in classical jurists’ texts when drafting the ‘Digest.’ When it was rediscovered in the 11th century, it was dealt with like the Bible. That is why no critical attempts were possible. Only the scholars of mos gallicus docendi made such ones. The situation changed during the 19th century, mainly due to the works of Otto Gradenwitz: to find any possible interpolation became the most important duty of Romanists. In effect, too many propositions of conjectures actually replaced any fair interpretation. That led to a profound crisis of confidence to the foundation text of Roman law research. The interpolationism was generally criticized in the 1920’s and 1930’s, but the question of its role in interpretations of Roman law sources is still not without influence on contemporary legal research in Roman law.

Opis:: W artykule zaproponowano pewną metodę kalibracji toru pomiarowego wielkości nieelektrycznych poprzez wyznaczanie czułości łącznej. Pokazano sposoby implementacji algorytmów autokalibracji dla różnych rodzajów torów pomiarowych w zależności od typu funkcji przetwarzania czujnika wielkości nieelektrycznych. Rozpatrzono często stosowane czujniki z wyjściem stosunkowym (czujniki zintegrowane, układy mostkowe), w których wielkość mierzona jest przetwarzana na stosunek napięcia wyjściowego czujnika do jego napięcia zasilania. Uwzględniono przy tym przypadki liniowej i nieliniowej funkcji przetwarzania toru pomiarowego. Przyjęto interpolację funkcji przetwarzania za pomocą liniowych funkcji sklejanych. Pokazano przykład implementacji algorytmu autokalibracji.
In the paper certain method is proposed, concerning calibration of a channel for measurements of non-electrical quantities, by means of total sensitivity evaluation. The implementation ways of self-calibration algorithms are shown, for different types of measurement channels, depending on the type of conversion function of non-electrical quantity sensor. Frequently used sensors with ratio output have been examined (integrated sensors, bridge circuits), in which a measurand is converted to a ratio of sensor output voltage to its supply voltage. The cases of linear and non-linear conversion function of a measurement channel have been taken into consideration. The interpolation of conversion function has been realized with linear spline functions. An example of implementation of self-calibration algorithm is shown.

Opis:: Jednym z istotnych problemów modelowania hydraulicznego jest właściwe odwzorowanie geometrii koryta i doliny cieku. W przypadku modeli dwuwymiarowych, głównym źródłem informacji przestrzennych są dane pozyskane metodą skaningu laserowego (ALS). Pomimo swojej generalnie dużej dokładności w dolinie, nie odwzorowują one jednak koryta rzeki, co wynika z procesu pozyskiwania materiału, podczas którego użyta wiązka laserowa nie jest w stanie spenetrować głębi wody i zostaje odbita od lustra, bądź zaabsorbowana przez wodę. Konieczne jest więc uzupełnianie batymetrii koryta właściwego na podstawie danych ze standardowych pomiarów geodezyjnych, z wykorzystaniem metod interpolacyjnych w celu uzyskania ciągłości przestrzennej. W przypadku modeli jednowymiarowych czy quasi -dwuwymiarowych pomiary geodezyjne są głównym źródłem danych geometrycznych, jednak ze względu na pracochłonność oraz duże koszty, przekroje poprzeczne wykonywane są najczęściej w zbyt dużych odległościach od siebie. Prowadzi to do pojawiania się niestabilności w modelach, a w przypadku rzek meandrujących, dochodzi do dublowania bądź pomijania części natężenia przepływu podczas symulacji. W celu stworzenia poprawnego modelu zachodzi więc konieczność zagęszczania przekrojów pomierzonych w terenie. Podobnie jak w przypadku modelowania dwuwymiarowego, część dolinową pozyskać można z danych lidarowych, jednak uzupełnienie geometrii koryta właściwego opiera się na metodach interpolacyjnych. Celem prezentowanej pracy jest przedstawienie możliwości uzupełniania informacji o przekrojach korytowych na przykładzie dwóch metod: z poziomu systemu modelowania MIKE 11 oraz narzędzia własnego, wykorzystującego aplikację ArcGIS, jak również wskazanie wad i zalet każdej z nich.
One of the important problems of hydraulic modeling is the appropriate representation of the geometry of the main river channel and valley. In the case of two-dimensional models, the main source of spatial information is data obtained by laser scanning (ALS). In spite of its generally high precision in the valley, the result for main riverbed doesn’t correspond to the reality, due to the data acquisition process. During the process, laser beam is not able to penetrate the water, most of the beam is absorbed by the water and there is either no return signal or it is very weak and distorted. It is therefore necessary to generate the channel bathymetry data by conducting the interpolation technics on the data collected by the field survey. In the case of one-dimensional models or quasi-two-dimensional the field measurements are the main source of geometric data, but due to high labor costs, the measurements of the cross-sections are usually performed at large intervals. Sparse cross-section data lead to instability in the models, and also in the case of meandering rivers, portion of the discharge may be omitted or doubled. Solution to the problem is a densification of the cross-sections data inserted in to the model. Additional spatial data for the terrain can be derived from the digital elevation model (DEM) and data for the river channel needs to be interpolated from measured crosssections. The main goal of this paper is to present methods of the channel bathymetry data interpolation and to highlight the advantages and the disadvantages of the assessed technics. Described interpolation technics are carried out either in ArcGIS or MIKE 11 applications.

Opis:: Artykuł prezentuje możliwości zwiększenia produktywności frezarek z dwoma jednostkami obróbczymi, wyposażonymi w wielokanałowy układ sterowania. Metoda opiera się na możliwości współbieżnej pracy dwóch jednostek obróbczych, realizujących złożone trajektorie, każda w 3 osiach, przy czym oś X jest wspólną osią dla obu jednostek. Zaprezentowano możliwości przechwytywania osi pomiędzy kanałami, funkcje synchronizacji pracy wielokanałowej, narzędzia do tablicowania złożonych trajektorii ruchu, funkcje sprzężenia osi, holowania, śledzenia ruchu i diagnostyki w tym zakresie. Przedstawiono przykład modelu szacowania błędów trajektorii narzędzia.
Error analysis in realization of complex trajectories of the tool movement of a multi-axis lathe is currently an issue widely discussed in the literature [1, 2, 3, 4]. However, this literature does not include particular cases, such as machining by means of a bridge type mill with two machining units equipped with a multi-channel CNC system – Sinumerik 840D. There is a possibility of simultaneous work of two machining units which realize complex trajectories; three axes per each unit; moreover, they both share axis X (Fig. 1). There are presented the standard programmatic tools necessary for such movements (axis replacement between the channels, data transfer between the channels, program coordination in multi-channel operations), the tools for defining curve tables in order to realize complex trajectories, the functions of coupled motions between the leading and following axis as declaration well as the possibilities of movement control and system diagnostics [5]. The method of declaration and initiation of external procedures in the leading channel (Fig. 2) is discussed. The worked out procedure for tabling the motion on the regular curve (Fig. 3, 4) necessary for simultaneous, double circular interpolation controlled by one channel is presented. The analysis of the tool trajectory errors and the chart for error estimation (Fig. 5) are also contained in the paper. The method was verified on a practical example of rail machining. The productivity of the machine tool in that particular case increased by 20-30%.

Opis:: Geographically weighted regression (GWR), was used here for spatial interpolation of two selected cases of the urban heat island measured in Wroclaw (SW Poland). The GWR algorithm was extended with spatial interpolation of the local regression residuals (GWRK). It was shown that the GWRK outperforms GWR, as well as other widely used interpolation procedures, including multiple regression models and residual kriging.

Opis:: Cechą charakterystyczną zjawisk zachodzących w powietrzu atmosferycznym jest istnienie autokorelacji. Dzięki narzędziom geostatystyki możliwa jest identyfikacja, modelowanie i estymacja stanu skażenia powietrza atmosferycznego. Zjawisko autokorelacji wykazuje, że wyniki pomiarów, które sąsiadują ze sobą w czasie i przestrzeni są do siebie bardziej podobne niż wyniki pomiarów bardziej odległych. Istnienie autokorelacji czasowych może być podstawą do szacowania wartości pomiarów sąsiednich. Do badania autokorelacji czasowej stężenia gazów i aerozoli wykorzystano analizę semiwariancji. Znajomość parametrów semiwariancji pozwala na użycie najlepszej nieobciążonej liniowo metody estymacji jaką jest kriging. W pracy przedstawiono przykład zastosowania analizy semiwariancji stanu jakościowego powietrza atmosferycznego dla obszaru województwa. Dokonano oceny autokorelacji przestrzennej i czasowej w województwie śląskim w oparciu o podstawowe parametry tj. zakres oddziaływania, próg oraz efekt samorodków. Wyniki analizy semiwariancji przedstawiają w postaci funkcji liniowej zależność między oddalaniem się punktów a stopniem ich podobieństwa. Istnienie autokorelacji przestrzennej daje podstawę do modelowania i estymacji przy użyciu metod stochastycznych.
A characteristic feature of the phenomena occurring in the atmospheric air is the existence of autocorrelation. With tools geostatistics is possible to identify modeling and estimation of the state of contamination of the air. The phenomenon of autocorrelation shows that the results of measurements that are adjacent to each other in time and space are more alike than more distant measurements. The existence of autocorrelation time can be the basis for estimating the value of the measurement location. To study the autocorrelation time gas concentrations and aerosols used semivariance analysis. Knowledge of semivariance parameters allows you to use the best uncompressed linear estimation method which is kriging. The paper presents an example of application semivariance analysis of ambient air quality status for the area of the province. An evaluation of spatial and temporal autocorrelation in the Silesia province based on the basic parameters such as range of impact, and the effect of the threshold nuggets. The analysis results show the semivariance as a function of the linear relationship between distant the points and the degree of their similarity. The existence of spatial autocorrelation provides a basis for modeling and estimation using stochastic methods.

Opis:: Celem opracowania jest ukazanie interpolacji w epiklezach modlitw anafory Liturgii św. Jana Chryzostoma i św. Bazylego Wielkiego. Analizie zostaną poddane zmiany wprowadzone w drugim tysiącleciu, w szczególności pojawienie się troparionów nabożeństwa trzeciej godziny oraz interpolacja słów: „Przemieniając Duchem Twoim Świętym”. Tekst wskaże genezę pojawienia się dodatkowych słów oraz ukaże ich wpływ na strukturę modlitwy anafory. W efekcie przedstawione zostaną propozycje rozwiązania problemów wynikających z historycznych zmian w strukturze epiklezy i w całej modlitwie anafory.
The aim of this paper is to show the interpolation in the Epiclesis of Anaphora prayers in the Liturgies of St. John Chrysostom and St. Basil the Great. The analysis will cover the changes made in the second millennium, in particular the emergence of the troparion of the third hour service, and interpolation of the words “changing it by your Holy Spirit”. The text shows the genesis of adding additional words and explains what their effect was on the structure of the Anaphora prayers. As a result, proposals to solve the problems arising from historical changes in the structure of the Epiclesis and in the whole prayer of the Anaphora will be presented.

Opis:: In this paper an attempt was made to apply kriging method for the creation of isoline maps of particulate matter PM10 concentration for Warsaw agglomeration for the following days: 20.02.2005, 21.02.2006, 22.02.2006, either distinguished by the presence of different meteorological conditions. Obtained empirical variograms of PM10 concentration values were of irregular course on account of a low number of measurement points availability (15 monitoring stations of particulate matter concentration). Those irregular courses of empirical variograms caused the arbitrary selection of theoretical functions for their approximation. Applying the arbitrarily selected functions for particulate matter concentration interpolation done by kriging method resulted in creating approximate PM10 concentration isoline maps. It was stressed that obtaining reliable isoline maps of related concentrations would require the availability of a wide range of measurement points.

Opis:: The final result of the architect´s designing work is the visualization of the project in the form of a drawing or a picture on the screen. Such screen images have many advantages, there are, however, some flaws of this method (of visualization), which makes it necessary to build physical models of the projected objects. The observation of physical models requires no hardware, the observed model is seen using the principles of everyday experience of the observer - as a realistic three-dimensional object and - it can be observed in real time from any site. Moreover, one can directly determine the spatial relationship between its component parts. Physical models can be elaborated manually or using modern printing technology - 3D. Three-dimensional printing technology involves building a model of layers. Subsequent layers are superimposed on each other, but their shape is given in numerical form - according to the programmed design model. The layers are bound together creating a stable physical spatial model. The aim of this study was to use the 3D printing technology to visualize terrain objects. As the source object for testing the 3D printing technology four Krakow mounds have been used. These objects were a well selected experimental basis, both because of the shape of the surface topography, and the associated engineering structures (paths and walls). The source data was obtained from the GNSS measurements and from airborne and terrestrial laser scanning. For the models prepared on the basis of GNSS measurements some inaccuracies of mapping were observed, due to the insufficient number of the source points. The models based on the clouds of points from laser scanning showed high accuracy in reproducing all terrain and engineering details. In conclusion we list the temporary 3D printing flaws like: the time-consuming printing process and the high technology cost. Advantages and possible applications lie in the creation of architectural models and in the renovation of monuments.
Efektem końcowym działalności projektowej architekta jest wizualizacja w formie rysunku lub obrazu na ekranie monitora. Takie obrazy mają bardzo wiele zalet, są jednak pewne niedoskonałości tej metody prezentacji wyników, które sprawiają, że okazuje się konieczne budowanie materialnych modeli projektowanych obiektów. Obserwacja modeli materialnych nie wymaga żadnego sprzętu, model jest postrzegany z wykorzystaniem zasad codziennego doświadczenia obserwatora, jako realistyczny obiekt trójwymiarowy, można go obserwować w czasie rzeczywistym z dowolnych stron, na modelu można bezpośrednio ustalać relacje przestrzenne pomiędzy jego częściami składowymi. Modele materialne mogą być wykonywane ręcznie albo za pomocą nowoczesnej techniki wydruku 3D. Technologia wydruku trójwymiarowego polega na budowaniu modelu z warstw. Kolejne warstwy są nakładane na siebie, przy czym ich kształt jest zadany w postaci numerycznej - zgodnie z zaprogramowanym projektem modelu. Warstwy są wiązane ze sobą, w rezultacie czego powstaje trwały materialny model przestrzenny. W niniejszej pracy został podjęty temat zastosowania technologii druku 3D do wizualizacji obiektów terenowych. Do testowania technologii druku 3D jako obiekty źródłowe wybrano cztery krakowskie kopce. Te obiekty stanowiły dobrze dobraną bazę doświadczalną, zarówno ze względu na kształt powierzchni topograficznej, jak również na występujące obiekty inżynierskie (ścieżki i mury). W badaniach wykorzystano dane pochodzące z pomiarów GNSS oraz z lotniczego i naziemnego skanowania laserowego. W przypadku modeli opracowanych na podstawie pomiarów GNSS zaobserwowano pewne niedokładności odwzorowania obiektów, wynikające z niewystarczającej liczby punktów pomiarowych. Modele opracowane na podstawie chmur punktów skanowania laserowego wykazywały wysoką dokładność odwzorowania wszelkich szczegółów terenowych i inżynierskich.W podsumowaniu omówiono przejściowe wady druku 3D, którymi są czasochłonność procesu druku i wysokie koszty technologii oraz szereg zalet i możliwości zastosowań w tworzeniu makiet architektonicznych i w renowacji zabytków.
