Opis:: The paper concerns the study of the effect of thermal phenomena on characteristics of the IGBT. The used measurement set-ups and the results of measurements of dc characteristics of the selected transistor obtained under different cooling conditions are presented. The influence of the ambient temperature and the applied cooling system on the shape of these characteristics is discussed. In particular, attention has been paid to the untypical shape of non-isothermal characteristics of this element in the subthreshold range.

Opis:: The paper refers to modelling characteristics of IGBT in SPICE software with self-heating taken into account. The form of the electrothermal model of the considered transistor and equations describing this model are proposed. The correctness of the proposed model is veriﬁed experimentally during the operation of the examined transistor at different cooling conditions. Particular attention is paid to the non-typical course of characteristics of the considered device at weak excitation. The shape of the obtained characteristics is discussed and the inﬂuence of the sub-threshold effect in the input MOS structure on these characteristics is analysed.

Opis:: The paper refers to the investigation results concerning thermal and optical properties of power LEDs. The measuring-set to measure thermal and optical parameters of the considered semiconductor devices is described and some results of measurements of transient thermal impedance and illuminance emitted by power LEDs operating at different cooling conditions are presented. Investigations were performed both for LEDs operating solely and sets of such diodes situated on the common heat-sink.

Opis:: W pracy przedstawiono wielkość ładunku związków biogennych odprowadzanych ze zlewni cząstkowych dorzecza Odry. Wykazano zależność wielkości ładunku związków azotu transportowanych wodami największych rzek w zlewni Baryczy od warunków klimatyczno-hydrologicznych ich zlewni. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały istotną zależność ładunku azotu ogólnego i azotanowego od wielkości przepływu wody i opadów półrocza zimowego. Zaproponowano nowy sposób wyznaczania zeutrofizowanych powierzchniowych wód płynących, oparty o wielkość jednostkowych ładunków azotu i fosforu ogólnego, transportowanych z obszaru zlewni rzecznej. Zgromadzone wyniki pochodzą z prowadzonych badań własnych oraz danych Państwowego Monitoringu Środowiska i obejmują lata hydrologiczne 1992/1993-2001/2002.
Paper presents the quantity of nutrients load transported from the catchment areas of Odra river basin. The relationship has been shown between the load quantity of nitrogen compounds transported by the waters of biggest rivers in the catchment area of Barycz river and the climatic and hydrological conditions of their catchment areas. The research carried out showed a significant relationship between the load of total and nitrate nitrogen on the quantity of water flow and winter period rain fall. A new method to determine eutrophicated surface flowing waters was proposed, based on the quantity of total nitrogen and phosphorous elementary loads transported from the river catchment area. Presented results come from our own research and the data from National Monitoring of Environment; they include hydrological years 1992/1993-2001/2002.

Opis:: Praca dotyczy pomiarórw rezystancji termicznej wybranych tranzystorów mocy przy wykorzystaniu metod pirometrycznych. Zamieszczono szereg wyników pomiarów tego parametru w funkcji mocy wydzielanej w elemencie, uzyskanych przy zastosowaniu różnych radiatorów obudów i orientacji przestrzennej badanych tranzystorów. Zbadano również nierównomierność przestrzennego rozkładu temperatury w badanej strukturze.
In this paper the problem of measurements of the thermal resistance (Rth) of the selected power transistors with the use of the pirometric method is considered. The measuremental results Rth of bipolar transistors 2N3055 and MOS transistors IRF840 for the dissipated power changing as well as for the various kinds of device cases the temperature distribution on the chip has been estimated.

Opis:: In the paper selected methods of measuring the thermal resistance of an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) are presented and the accuracy of these methods is analysed. The analysis of the measurement error is performed and operating conditions of the considered device, at which each measurement method assures the least measuring error, are pointed out. Theoretical considerations are illustrated with some results of measurements and calculations.

Opis:: W artykule zaprezentowano wykorzystanie entropii i odchyleń standardowych detali wysokoczęstotliwościowych dyskretnej, diadycznej transformacji falkowej w detekcji i lokalizacji zakłóceń w sygnale elektroenergetycznym. Przedstawiono w jaki sposób można dokonać separacji i rekonstrukcji wybranych zakłóceń z sygnału na podstawie wyników obliczeń różnych entropii i odchylenia standardowego. Metody te zaimplementowano na zmiennoprzecinkowym procesorze sygnałowym i wykonano analizę pod kątem wykorzystania w systemach do pomiaru jakości energii elektrycznej pracujących w czasie rzeczywistym.
The utilization of entropy and standard deviations of high frequency details of dyadic discrete wavelet transform in detection and localization disturbances in power signal was presented in this article. The manner of separation and reconstruction of selected disturbances from signal on the basis of calculations results of different entropies and standard deviations was introduced. These methods was implemented on floating point digital signal processor and the analysis from application in power quality measurement systems working on-line point of view was made.

Opis:: W pracy przeanalizowano zasadność stosowania nieliniowego modelu termicznego tranzystora MOS mocy przy analizach charakterystyk przetwornicy boost. Przedstawiono postać rozważanego modelu termicznego oraz wyniki elektrotermicznej analizy stanów przejściowych badanego układu, uzyskane przy uwzględnieniu nieliniowości modelu termicznego oraz przy pominięciu tej nieliniowości. Badania przeprowadzono dla przetwornic zawierających dwa różne zestawy półprzewodnikowych elementów kluczujących.
In the paper the necessity of using the non-linear thermal model of the power MOS transistor at computer analyses of the boost converter is considered. The form of considered thermal model are presented and results of the electrothermal transient analysis of considered converter, obtained at the nonlinearity of the thermal model taking into account and at the omission of this nonlinearity are shown. Investigations were performed for converters containing two different sets of switching semiconductor devices.

Opis:: Celem pracy było przeprowadzenie oceny stanu hydromorfologicznego Kanału Mosińskiego metoda przeglądową oraz porównanie jej z wynikami badan terenowych. Realizując główny cel, do oceny stanu hydromorfologicznego cieku wybrano niemiecka, przeglądową metodę LAWA z 2002 roku. Poddany ocenie odcinek kanału długości 15,9 km leGy pomiędzy mostem na drodze Głuchowo-Stęszew, a ujściem cieku do Warty. W pracy wskazano podobieństwa i różnice w ocenie cieku metodami przeglądową i terenowa oraz ich przyczyny. Obie metody przeanalizowano pod katem założeń teoretycznych, dokładności oraz możliwości prowadzenia monitoringu hydromorfologicznego wód płynących. Pomimo różnic w ocenie cząstkowej, ocena końcowa w obu przypadkach klasyfikuje ciek do tej samej IV kategorii naturalności.
The assessment of hydromorphological state of the Mosiński Canal with review method was the aim of this work. Moreover the received results from review method were compared with results of field method. Realizing main aim, to assess the hydromorphological state of water-course, the German review method (LAWA 2002) was chosen. The part of canal (on distance 15,9 km) which was investigated lies between bridge on road Głuchowo–Stęszew, and it's estuary to the Warta River. In this study the similarities and differences in opinion of water-course between review and field method were shown. Both methods were verified in the context of theoretical assumptions, assessment precision and possibility of applying in monitoring of hydromorphological state of surface waters. In spite of differences in partial opinion, general assessment in both cases classified water-course to the same IV category of naturalness.
