    Cyfrowe przetwarzanie sygnałów (CPS; ang. Digital Signal Processing, DSP) jest dziedziną nauki i techniki zajmującą się sygnałami w postaci cyfrowej i metodami ich przetwarzania. Cyfrowe przetwarzanie sygnałów i analogowe przetwarzanie sygnałów są gałęziami nadrzędnej dyscypliny: przetwarzania sygnałów. Pierwszym etapem cyfrowego przetwarzania sygnałów jest zazwyczaj konwersja sygnału z postaci analogowej na cyfrową za pomocą przetwornika analogowo-cyfrowego. Często sygnał przetworzony cyfrowo jest sygnałem wejściowym dla modelu neuronowego. Neuronowa analiza obrazów to nowa dziedzina cyfrowego przetwarzania sygnałów. Można ją wykorzystać do identyfikacji wybranych obiektów występujących w postaci bitmapy.
    Digital signal processing (DSP) is the science and technology domain dealing with signals in a digital representation and the processing methods of these signals. DSP and analog signal processing are subfields of signal processing. Since the goal of DSP is usually to measure or filter continuous real-world analog signals, the first step is usually to convert the signal from an analog to a digital form, by using an analog to digital converter. Often, the required output signal is another analog input signal for neuronal models. The neuronal pictures analysis is then a new field of digital processing of signals. It is possible to use it to identification of chosen objects given in the form of bitmap.

    Landscape alteration is generally one of the most significant impacts resulting from surface mining and quarrying, particularly when the excavation activities are located within environmentally sensitive areas. We describe the results of two different methods of visual impact assessment applied to selected case studies in the Polish Carpathians. The study concerns areas of significant landscape value and holiday destinations for many people living in the Silesian and Kraków urban-industrial agglomerations. One of the two methods refers to the EC decision 272/02, which establishes ecological criteria for the award of the Community eco-label for hard floor-coverings. The second method was proposed in previous research and is based on the application of a visual impact indicator (Lvi) in which two objective aspects of landscape alteration are included: the extent of the visible excavation and its chromatic contrast with its surroundings. The results of the two methods are compared and discussed for each of the case studies considered.

    W artykule przedstawiono algorytm wyznaczania kąta wychylenia wskazówki miernika na podstawie zdjęcia wskaźnika oraz program do praktycznego sprawdzenia przedstawionego algorytmu. Zastosowanie takiego programu umożliwia automatyzację procesu sprawdzania dokładności lub wzorcowania przyrządów pomiarowych ze wskaźnikami analogowymi.
    Paper shows the algorithm of determining an angle of meter's hand swing basing on meter's photograph and a program of checking this algorithm in practice. A practical use of that program makes able an automation of process of checking precision or calibration measuring devices with analog indicators.

    Media often present different forms of love and closeness - both physical and emotional. They, among other things, shape our perception of those matters and how we discuss them. Video games also participate in this discourse, showing us the images of these complex human needs, and through their interactivity and the potential of immersion, allow to express our sexuality. This text is in a way a collection of thoughts after the research project named "Pedagogy of culture and 'digital romance' - an analysis of the concept of romance and sexuality in video games in the context of the emotional needs of vide game players, their creative activities and social sensitivity" (Task number: 538-7300-B640-17), conducted at the University of Gdansk.
    Media często ukazują różne formy miłości i bliskości – zarówno tej fizycznej, jak i emocjonalnej. To między innymi one kształtują nasze ich postrzeganie oraz to w jaki sposób o nich mówimy. Gry wideo także uczestniczą w tym dyskursie ukazując nam obrazy tej jednej z bardziej skomplikowanych ludzkich potrzeb, a poprzez swoją interaktywność oraz potencjał immersji pozwalają na swojego rodzaju ekspresję ludzkiej seksualności. Tekst ten jest swojego rodzaju zbiorem przemyśleń po realizacji projektu badawczego pt. „Pedagogika kultury a >>cyfrowa romantyczność<< - badanie koncepcji romansów oraz seksualności w grach wideo w kontekście emocjonalnych potrzeb graczy, ich działań twórczych oraz wrażliwości społecznej” (Nr zadania: 538-7300-B640-17).

    Przez lata immanentną cechą radia była awizualność. Obrazy funkcjonowały jedynie w kontekście rozważań o wrażeniach percepcyjnych wywołanych w wyobraźni słuchacza. Ekspansja Internetu sprawiła, że obrazy w radiu stały się rzeczywistością. Współczesne radio, zachowując sygnał analogowy, jest również producentem multimedialnych treści publikowanych na wielu platformach dystrybucji. Posługuje się fotografią, wideo, współpracuje z telewizją, jest widoczne w mediach społecznościowych. Artykuł omawia wybrane aspekty wizualnej ewolucji radia: udostępnianie obrazu ze studia, projekt radia z wizją, wspólne programy stacji radiowej i telewizyjnej. Wskazuje również, jak zdjęcia i materiały wideo służą do budowania relacji z odbiorcą.
    For years, the immanent feature of the radio was avisuality. Pictures functioned only in the context of reflections on perceptual impressions produced in the listener’s imagination. Thanks to the expansion of the Internet, images in the radio have become reality. While retaining the analogue signal, the modern radio is also a producer of multimedia contents published in many distribution platforms. It uses photographs and video, co-operates with the TV and is visible in social media. The article deals with selected aspects of the visual evolution of the radio: the provision of picture from the studio, the project of a radio with vision, common programmes of radio and TV stations. It also shows how photographs and video footages are used for building a relation with the recipient.
