The research aim of the article was to present the broadly understood speleological activity of the brothers Tadeusz and Stefan Zwoliński. The text presents biographies of both described characters, then the individual stages of their speleological activity are analyzed in detail, and in the end the legacy of the Zwoliński brothers is characterized. The speleological activity of the Zwoliński brothers lasted several dozen years in total: it began during the Austro-Hungarian period, was continued with many successes in the interwar period and ended after the Second World War in the Polish People’s Republic. At the threshold of their activity, only 44 caves in the Polish Tatras were known. The activity of the Zwoliński brothers finally brought the knowledge of nearly 120 new cave facilities. Their various publications also provided a model for the development of cave documentation and influenced the tourist and scientific activities carried out there. The article is a contribution to further research on the history of Polish speleology.
Celem badawczym artykułu było ukazanie szeroko rozumianej działalności speleologicznej braci Tadeusza i Stefana Zwolińskich. W tekście przedstawione zostały biogramy obu opisywanych postaci, następnie szczegółowo poddano analizie poszczególne etapy ich aktywności speleologicznej, w zakończeniu zaś scharakteryzowano dziedzictwo, jakie zostawili po sobie Zwolińscy. Aktywność speleologiczna braci Zwolińskich trwała łącznie kilkadziesiąt lat: rozpoczęła się jeszcze w okresie istnienia Austro-Węgier, kontynuowana była z wieloma sukcesami w dwudziestoleciu międzywojennym i zakończyła się po II wojnie światowej w Polskiej Rzeczpospolitej Ludowej. U progu ich aktywności znanych było zaledwie 44 jaskiń w Tatrach Polskich. Działalność Zwolińskich przyniosła ostatecznie poznanie blisko 120 nowych obiektów. Ich różnego rodzaju publikacje dostarczyły również wzoru do opracowywania dokumentacji jaskiń i wpłynęły na prowadzoną w nich działalność turystyczną i naukową. Artykuł stanowi przyczynek do dalszych badań dotyczących historii polskiej speleologii.

The world of young people very often confuses the concept of authority with a new, media-conditioned idol phenomenon. There is a fundamental difference between idol and authority. Authority is connected with respect and recognition for the person’s talents and abilities. Authority has a certain position, is worked out and achieved by effort, has a positive meaning in the development of the recipient’s personality, always leads to good (sometimes despite harsh truths and strict requirements), and in his opinion should be counted. The position of the idol is based on fascination, it concerns not only the person, what her position (she wants to be in her place), do not consider the effort and dedication to achieve success comparable to the achievements idol, who enjoys easy applause gained by seducing the audience.

The crisis of modern culture manifests itself in multiple forms. An important source of new global spiritual threats in the world is a crisis of civilization. The crisis of truth, which is expressed by the crisis of science, ideology and faith, has caused existential emptiness and anxiety. The term “irrational stupidity” has appeared in publications as an expression of general trends of the late twentieth century civilization. A civilization was developing which was simulated by imagination and illusion, a civilization detached from the truth, where a concocted man is first while the living one is far behind. In this situation appeared the term “culture of idiots” – one of the models. Another model of culture is often illustrated by the myth of the nymph Echo (punished so that she had lost her own voice and could only repeat) and the myth of Narcissus (in love with his own reflection). It is reflected by the theater dominated by a monologue (one-man show), visual arts with various types of exhibitionist self-portraying; literature dominated by autobiography and memoir rather than a story, in other plays – “monadizm” or forcing men to portray men, blacks – to imagine the blacks, etc., in philosophy – extreme relativism, on the border of solipsism (the denial that there may be truth beyond our own thoughts). In the religious life its expression are sects – justifying atomism of an individual, their closing on the environment, hiding man, and life – with superficial sensibility (“autistic”). Treating one’s own religion as the next “segment” of life, which can be easily “replaced” for another, makes it impossible to remain in Christian culture. Every love, including Christian, is associated with fidelity, which results in dedication, sometimes bordering on heroic. In the “culture of change” this important attribute of faith disappears, subject to market valuation – it is becoming one of the international market offers today. And in a culture of destruction there is no place for positive building – the national and Christian culture is subject to disintegration and suspicion. Fidelity is treated as a negation of the total “opening up” to the world – including the evil and destructive forces, which completely changes the perspective of culture.

Artykuł podejmuje problematykę patriotyzmu, a dokładnie wychowanie do tej wartości. Patriotyzm jest zjawiskiem wieloaspektowym, złożonym, niezwykle ważnym we współczesnym świecie. Do patriotyzmu, jak do każdej duchowej sprawności, człowieka należy wychować. Ten wymóg w szczególny sposób dotyczy działań ludzi wobec osób młodych, wchodzących dopiero w życie społeczne. Rolę pierwszych nauczycieli miłości ojczyzny spełniają rodzice i nikt ich nie jest w stanie w tej roli zastąpić. Wychowanie patriotyczne dokonuje się także poprzez aktualne świadectwo liderów i przywódców narodowych, stąd tak bardzo ważną rolę wychowawczą pełni postawa polityków, nauczycieli i ludzi prezentujących autorytet ważnych instytucji społecznych.
Article takes issues of patriotism or more precisely education for this virtue. Patriotism is a phenomenon multi-faceted, complex, extremely important in the modern world. Patriotism, like any spiritual fitness, the man must raise. This requirement particularly applies to the actions of people towards young people, entering only in social life. The role of the first teachers belongs to parents who love their homeland and no one is able to replace them in this role. Patriotic education is also carried out through a current leaders and national leaders, hence a very important educational role fully attitude of politicians, teachers and the people presenting the authority of important social institutions.

Nowadays, it seems that economics penetrated every single area of human life. In addition to the desire of individuals to possess material goods and an increasing number of objects, which puts them at the appropriate level of the social ladder, more and more often we deal with the phenomenon of family treatment as a part of cultural exchange. This article highlights the problem of treating children as property, commodity, which you can offer to others, in relation to children born and unborn, in the area of trade in semen, commerce adoption, trafficking in children. This situation is present mainly in poor countries, where it is considered as a tool of economic rescue for the family: intended for work work, for sale, prostitution and sent to the street to beg. At the same time the child comes to the „specific” economic investment, the profits of which parents receive in the future. Therefore, it is important to highlight the problem of „child as a commodity” in the modern literature and scientific discussions.

According to researches the participants of an omnipresent popular culture experience two kinds of pleasure: direct, sensual and ecstatic pleasure and a distanced one, which is discursive in character and is available to people with sophisticated tastes. Popular culture is now becoming a way of fulfilling the needs and desires of individuals. Its unique feature is its mass scale. Various stimulants are a factor that enhances entertaining lifestyle for women. Modern woman is seen as independent and integral. She has been perceived in an almost complete isolation from man since the beginning of the twentieth century. She seeks to obtain the rights that were previously only available to him. Femininity has gained new features of a different quality than in previous centuries. The woman discovers that she is strong, determined and free from weaknesses. Strength is her asset. She becomes aware of her desires and aspirations, which is also revealed in her choice of entertainment. The models of femininity propagated by the media are schematic and simplistic. They do not allow individual desires, aspirations and beliefs.

Marxist ideology, and later the practice of the communist state, denied the essential goals of education, making it an important tool for indoctrination. Man ceased to be the highest value, and was replaced by other values that were lower than him.The communist program of raising children and youth in atheism, without God, was an attack on all believers, because it impacted the future of any religion in Russia.The pontificate of John Paul II, the first Pope from a communist country, was important in determining the threat of Marxism. In the encyclical „Laborem Exercens” the Pope stated that “by the use of various kinds of influence, including revolutionary pressure, it aims to win a monopoly of power in each society.” (LE, 11). The fundamental assessment of Marxism was made by John Paul II in response to social issues posed by the so-called theology of liberation. This power reaches deep and is vast, because it affects the whole person, in all dimensions of his existence.

Prezentowana rozprawa poświęcona jest problemom przestrzeni publicznych zespołów mieszkaniowych. Praca przygotowana została pod kierunkiem dr hab. inż. arch. Waldemara Marzęckiego, prof. PS. Wielkopłytowe osiedla mieszkaniowe zostały wybrane jako obszar badań głównie ze względu na ich ważną role w strukturze współczesnych miast polskich oraz charakterystyczne, porównywalne parametry przestrzenne. Podstawowe dwa zagadnienia stanowiące ramy niniejszych badań to geneza i rozwój formy wielorodzinnego osiedla mieszkaniowego oraz problematyka przestrzeni publicznych w aspekcie ich organizacji przestrzennej i użytkowania. Podjęta próba porządkowania zagadnień związanych z deformacjami przestrzeni publicznych za pomocą autorskiego narzędzia analitycznego ma na celu opracowanie całościowej metody badania obszarów mieszkaniowych w kontekście ich transformacji architektoniczno-urbanistycznej. Autorska metoda ma stanowić ogniwo łączące rzeczywiste problemy przestrzeni publicznych zespołów mieszkaniowych z procesem planowania przekształceń tych zespołów w różnych aspektach (planistycznym, ekonomicznym, administracyjnym etc). Rezultatem dysertacji jest opracowanie procesu porządkowania i skalowania określonych problemów urbanistycznych pod kątem ich rozwiązania na etapie planowania i programowania przekształceń osiedli mieszkaniowych. Prezentowane streszczenie rozprawy doktorskiej podzielono na dwie części: teoretyczną i aplikacyjną. Artykuł prezentuje jedynie kluczowe kwestie, które w pełnej rozprawie są znacznie rozbudowane.

The author examines the issue of human exploitation, which often results from unrestrained urge to make profits. The extreme, though all too real, instance of this in the 20th century were practices employed in the concentration camp in Auschwitz. Reification, or objectification of a human being, made it possible to treat him as if he was a thing, a commodity. Similarly, globalization and subordination of life to the dictates of the market creates modern forms of human exploitation, like human trafficking, organ trafficking, buying and selling one’s work or creative output – everything is for sale. Unrestrained urge to make profits equals to economic and human exploitation which is totally at odds with the ethics and the Catholic Social Teaching.

Christianity is a humanism – it positions man in the very centre of the world according him the highest place – of the being created after God’s image. The revelation of God’s Love endows man with a new way of enriching himself and others. Thus the desire for happiness gains a new perspective of the divine longing for good.Happiness which Christ promises exceeds the limits of our imagination. It is inconceivable and incomprehensible to those living on earth. Heaven is beyond every word, beyond our conception for it bears the meaning which man cannot fully understand. It is the most supreme happiness, absolutely perfect and complete which no one has ever known.A Christian has to achieve in his life something more than the worldly aims. Whoever limits their life to the earth, focuses only on enjoying and using this life to the full; squeezing from it the last drop heedless of the needs of others.

The main objective of this paper is to present a method for deriving a map of landform geodiversity in GIS environment. Three maps: a map of landform energy derived from SRTM-3 digital elevation model, a map of landform fragmentation created from geomorphological map and a map of contemporary landform preservation derived from CORINE Land Cover database are processed for the construction of a map of landform geodiversity. The paper presents a workflow for the map compilation procedure. The final map of landform geodiversity is created in the course of spatial analysis in GIS in two steps: first three input maps are combined in an overlay and next the overlay results are reclassified into the map of landform geodiversity with the following descriptions: very high, high, medium, low, and very low landform geodiversity. The study uses GIS to trace the patterns and changes of the natural landscapes and man-made transformations of natural landforms in the Polish Carpathians.

The governing group, along with the wealthy, educated and famous elites of the social elites. They combine their common institutions, standards of conduct, social bond and awareness of group membership. The elites are unstable – they collapse as a result of wars, revolutions, but also as a result of degeneration. The elites remain at the top of the social pyramid only when they have developed the ability to get rid of the degenerate elements and the inflow of fresh qualities that are useful in the next epoch of social development. At the same time degeneration is ongoing and continuous. Degeneration accelerates with the elimination of the elite for exchange with the environment. In the 20th century, the process of degeneration of the elite intensified through its participation in the lie of communism and in the system of fascist crimes. The rebirth of the elite requires education of conscience and increased responsibility for all social activities undertaken.

In the modern world, tourism is a very dynamically growing industry with significant impact on the eco-nomic prosperity of many regions or even countries. The paper presents the geotourism potential of the 12 show (com-mercial) caves in Poland before and during the current pandemic time. Survey results demonstrate that caves are major geotourist attractions. In 2019, they were visited by a total of almost 950,000 people. The attendance might have exceed-ed even a million if the popular Mroźna Cave in the Tatras had not been temporarily closed to visitors due to a rockfall in winter period 2018/2019. In 2020, all the show caves combined were visited by a more than 390,000 people, which amounted to about 41% of the total attendance recorded for 2019. The most visited cave proved to be Smocza Jama (Dragon’s Den) in the centre of Kraków, which recorded almost 422,000 visitors in 2019. A preliminary assessment of the attractiveness of the caves as geosites is given. The most attractive caves as geosites were identified as: Bear Cave, Upper Wierzchowska Cave, and Bat Cave. It is possible to confidently assert that the celebration of the International Year of Caves and Karst (IYCK) in 2021–2022 will increase interest in caves and translate into a revival of cave tourism.

In Poland, the consumption of polymers like polyethylene, polypropylene and polystyrene amounts is nearly one million tons per year. Most of the products made of these polymers becomes wastes in short time. Polymers are very resistant to biodegradation, therefore technologies of their transformation into useful materials should be developed. In our Institute, the technology of catalytic cracking of polyolefines into liquid fuels is studied. Experiments are concentrated on the selection of proper catalyst and on the construction of continuously operated installation for cracking of polyolefine wastes. Experiments on the selection of catalyst were performed in a laboratory scale batch reactor. A big laboratory installation with a yield of ca. 1 kg/h of liquid products was tested with positive results and plans are to construct a pilot plant installation with a yield of 30 kg/h of liquid products. The products of catalytic cracking are separated in a distillation column into gas, gasoline, light oil and heavy oil fractions. The gas is used for heating the reactor. The heavy oil fraction is recycled to the reactor and the gasoline and light oil fractions are the final products. The gasoline fraction can be used as a component of motor gasoline and the light oil fraction can be used as a component of diesel fuel or as a heating oil.

A standard of decency, which is not necessarily reflected in legislation, is present in social awareness. It is often forgotten, but felt in harmful actions of administration toward the development of an individual. Invoking the right to justify the legality and fairness of such behavior when the law is used as a moral alibi – this jurisdictive treatment of morality, or stepping too far into the ethical areas with the standards of the law should be considered a dangerous attitude. The author justifies a thesis that the ethical dimension of the law must be sought in its humanizing, rather than surrendering to its totalitarian interpretation.

The paper presents operation problems with turbocompressor TA48, 3000 RPM and their solving possibilities. System, which we describe consist of electric motor, coupling and turbocompressor. Users usually have problems with: - coupling, which have to be maintained every six months. - motor, because of rotor and bearing plates failures. - costs of spare parts and delivery time. The paper describes two ways to avoid mentioned above problems: - only motor replacement. This is connected with reconstruction of sound absorbing chamber. - replacement both the motor and its coupling.

„Antroposfera” to termin zbudowany z dwóch greckich słów: „anthropos” – „człowiek” i „sphaire” – „piłka, kula, kula ziemska, kulista przestrzeń okalająca Ziemię”. Termin ten oznacza więc czas i miejsce wstępowania człowieka na Ziemi oraz całą jego działalność twórczą, wytwórczą i produkcyjną. Analiza współczesnej antroposfery wskazuje na jej „zagęszczenie”, ogromne stłoczenie, które polega na zniszczeniu hierarchii tradycyjnej struktury, tworzącej przestrzeń między grupami i jednostkami (efekt tzw. „demokratyzacji” życia) oraz dysproporcji między rozwojem populacji a ekonomicznymi i społecznymi podstawami jego istnienia. Jednym z ważnych procesów, który był przyczyną i zarazem jest efektem „zagęszczenia antroposfery”, jest zanik wydzielonych starannie w historii sfer intymności, prywatności i sfery publicznej, podporządkowanych regułom dystansu i relacji między jednostką a grupą. Granica między sferą prywatności a publiczną jest niezwykle delikatna i wymaga ciągłej troski, aby jej nie przekroczyć, burząc porządek budowany przez całe wieki kultury.
„Anthroposphere” is a term built from two greek words: „anthropos” – „man” and „sphaire” – „ball, sphere, globe, sphericalspace enveloping the earth”. the term therefore includes the time and place of ascent of man on earth and all his creative, manufacturing and producing activities. analysis of modern anthroposphere indicates its „compaction”, i. e. enormous crowding, which involves the destruction of the hierarchy of traditional structure creating space between groups and individuals (the effect of the so-called „democratization” of life) as well as disproportions between population growth and economic and social foundations of its existence. one of the important processes, which was the cause and at the same time is the result of „anthroposphere compaction” is the loss of carefully dedicated in history spheres of intimacy, privacy and the public sphere which are subordinated to the rules of distance and the relationship between the individual and the group. the boundary between the sphere of privacy and the public sphere is extremely delicate and requires constant attention so as not to be exceeded by tearing down the order which was built by centuries of culture.

The area of Pilica Forest covers the terrains where forest inspectorates of Opoczno, Smardzewice and Spała are situated. The forests made up a compact complex of varied stand divided with the Pilica river. After achieving independence during the First World War a Representative Residence of the Polish President was created in Spała. The village was the place of work and rest of the President. It was also the place of state ceremonies and the neighbouring forests were the place of representative huntings for guests from the country and abroad.

Introduction: Moulds are the one of the known biological factors that have a negative impact on human health. Moulds are commonly present in residential and work environments. Materials plentiful in organic compounds, such as building materials or paints, are a splendid substrate for the development of moulds. The first documented mention of a study describing the harmful effects caused by moulds in buildings emerged in the early nineteenth century. In Copenhagen and then in Padua, moulds of the genus Penicillium, Cladosporium and Mucor were found in buildings. Objective: To present the current state of the allergic properties and other negative health effects caused by moulds isolated from buildings. Brief description of the state of knowledge: The literature and own research clearly shows that moulds and their secondary metabolites can evoke toxic effects on human and animal health, and cause symptoms similar to allergic diseases. These allergens have been noted in spores as well as other fungal fragments; however, most allergens are located in germinating spores, in the hyphal tips and in mycelia. Fungal allergy can express in different ways: asthma, rhinitis, conjunctivitis, urticaria and atopic dermatitis. Fungal allergy antigen is bound to IgE-dependent reactions but also to reactions independent of IgE. Conclusions: Moulds are a significant but difficult to detect etiologic agent of different allergic diseases. Prevention of this diseases is important for patients with suspected connection between common allergic symptoms and affinity with moulds.

The Catholic Church is very diverse. This is its beauty and value. However, this can also be a cause of trouble. Where there are differences, conflicts may also arise. Some are open and want dialogue and conversation with everyone, about everything and in every possible way. They are always on the border. They try to understand the world and reach out to it and read the teaching of the Church in a modern way. They advocate reform and radical change. Others are conservative – they care more about preserving the most valuable things in the Church along the way. They care about tradition. They trust the wisdom of time. They do not want to make sudden changes. They look at the past with respect and draw wisdom and inspiration from it, in order to act today. There are different sensitivities, different spiritualities, and even different needs. Can conflicts be avoided? It is certainly not easy and also requires mutual tolerance.

Polar regions are an object of study of several disciplines, including cryology. The cryosphere embraces snow cover, sea ice, ice sheets, shelf ice, glaciers and ice caps, permafrost, as well as river and lake ice. The aim of the present paper is to address problems of the distribution and disappearance of glaciers and permafrost as an effect of the observed climate change leading primarily to a warming of the polar zones. Glacier ice found on the surface of the Earth is one of the most sensitive geoindicators of the climate change taking place in the geosphere. There is some inertia in the observable and measurable response of glacier systems relative to the change. It is estimated that for the Marine Antarctic region the delay may be some 25 years. Another feature characteristic of the recession of ice sheets and glaciers is the different rate of retreat of their fronts depending on location: ice sheets and glaciers ending on land usually display a much slower recession rate than those reaching the sea. This is combined with local, regional and global weather anomalies in temperature and precipitation which, together with the features of the bedrock, can sometimes seriously affect the recession pattern of individual glaciers. In the article examples are given of glacier recession in Greenland, Spitsbergen, Antarctica, and the Antarctic Peninsula. The areas emerging from under the ice are among the fastest, most dynamically evolving ones in the world, undergoing processes of geosuccession. Apart from an increase in the thickness of the active layer, a rise in the temperature of permafrost itself can be observed. What favours the penetration of heat into the ground is the increasingly frequent absence of snow cover, or a clear reduction in its thickness. Those changes make continuous permafrost pass into discontinuous and then sporadic permafrost. In the Arctic regions permafrost degradation has the greatest impact on construction and network infrastructure, like roads, railway lines, and telecommunication facilities. Higher air temperatures, the recession of glaciers, a lower depth of freezing, and changes in the amount and quality of precipitation lead primarily to a shift of the climatic-vegetation zones northwards and the climatic- vegetation altitude zones upwards. This situation has brought about an extension of the growing season by 30-40%. The result has been geoecological transformations among the glacial, proglacial, periglacial and paraglacial systems at a variety of spatiotemporal scales that form the present-day landscape structure of the polar zones in the northern and southern hemispheres, and in high-altitude area.

Artykuł przedstawia metody uzyskiwania mapy georóżnorodności rzeźby w środowisku GIS-owskim oraz jej wykorzystanie do wskazania atrakcji turystycznych w Karpatach. Zaproponowano metodyczny schemat postępowania. Podstawą utworzenia mapy są trzy mapy wejściowe do analizy geoinformacyjnej: mapa energii rzeźby, mapa rozczłonkowania rzeźby, mapa zachowania współczesnej rzeźby. Dla każdej wejściowej mapy do analizy geoinformacyjnej przypisano wartości od 1 do 5, odpowiadające jakościowemu opisowi georóżnorodności: bardzo mała, mała, przeciętna, duża, bardzo duża. Wymienione mapy poddano algebrze map, dzięki której uzyskano końcową mapę georóżnorodności rzeźby. Nową mapę georóżnorodności rzeźby Karpat skonfrontowano z turystycznymi walorami krajobrazów morfologicznych Karpat. Do najbardziej atrakcyjnych turystycznie obszarów zaliczono obszary Tatr Polskich oraz licznych grzbietów beskidzkich, gdzie obserwuje się równocześnie dużą kontrastowość hipsometryczną z sąsiadującymi dolinami rzecznymi.
The paper is to present a method for deriving a map of landform geodiversity in GIS environment and its application for indication of attractive touristic scenes in Carpathian Mts. The paper propose a methodological flowchart. The basis for its creation is three input maps for geoinformation analysis: a map of landform energy, a map of landform fragmentation and a map of contemporary landform preservation. For each input map for geoinformation analysis assigned values from 1 to 5 which correspond to qualitative description of geodiversity: very low, low, medium, high, very high. Map algebra was used for obtaining a final map of landform geodiversity. The new map of Carpathians landform geodiversity was confronted by touristic values of morphological landscapes of Carpathian Mts. To the most attractive touristic areas was included territory of the Polish Tatra as well as numerous Beskidy ranges where can be observe a big hypsometric contrast between adjoining ridges and river valleys.

This article explores the relevance of universal design and empathic design in education. The universal design focuses on creating accessible and usable products, environments, and systems for individuals with diverse abilities. Empathy, on the other hand, involves understanding and sharing the feelings of others, encompassing cognitive, emotional, and compassionate empathy. The article investigates the application of empathy in design, particularly its importance for engineers. Teaching empathy to engineers is emphasized as a crucial aspect. By developing empathic skills, engineers gain a deeper understanding of user needs and perspectives, leading to more inclusive and user-centered design solutions. Effective communication techniques such as asking open-ended questions, active listening, observation, and perspective-taking are explored to enhance empathy in communication. The article also explores methods for measuring empathy, thus enabling engineers to assess the effectiveness of their empathic design approaches. The challenges facing students, teachers, and university authorities in implementing such courses are also bulleted.

Oczekiwanie na spotkanie z Bogiem łączy się z osobistą wiarą. Jest to wiara – w ścisłym tego słowa znaczeniu – w życie pozagrobowe, życie w „przyszłym świecie”. Taka egzystencja, nie będąc jedynie przedłużeniem tego co znamy na ziemi, jest trudna do wyobrażenia, bo jej istota jest inna. Życie na ziemi to niekończący się ciąg następujących po sobie chwil, natomiast wieczność jest nowym wymiarem istnienia, nową jakością, ciągłym „teraz”. W każdorazowym kontakcie z Bogiem, odbywającym się w sakramentach, modlitwie i medytacji, uczymy się właściwego spojrzenia na Niego. Jest to życie wieczne, które ma miejsce już „teraz”. Teraźniejszość i wieczność nie stoją w sprzeczności, nie są od siebie odrębne, ale przeplatają się. Życie wieczne umacnia się w czasie, który został nam dany. Ogół wsparcia religijnego udzielanego osobie umierającej jest równie ważny. Każda chora osoba ma prawo do takiej opieki, która jest sposobem ewangelizowania choroby, odkrywaniem odkupieńczego znaczenia cierpienia i bólu przemijania. Wsparcie religijne polega na dawaniu świadectwa miłości poprzez diakonię (służenie) i kanonię (tworzenie wspólnoty).
Awaiting the meeting with God is connected with the person’s faith. This is faith, in the strict sense of the word, in life “after” the earthly life, life in the “future world.” Such life, which is not merely an extension of the familiar existence, is hard to imagine. This existence is different in its essence. Life on earth continues as an endless sequence of successive moments. Eternity is a new dimension of existence, a new quality, continuous “now.” In all contacts with God – in the sacraments, prayer, and meditation – we learn to see Him properly. It is a way of life in eternity already “now,” today. Present and eternity do not oppose each other, they do not separate from each other, but they are entangled with each other. Eternal life grows in strength within the time that is given to us. Entire religious care over the dying person is of equally important significance. Every sick person has a right to receive this care, which is also a way of evangelizing illness, a discovery of the redeeming significance of the suffering and pain of passing away. It involves giving a testimony of love through diaconia (service) and canonia (community formation).

The technique is based on different principles than the Nature is. It may complement or assist the Nature but it cannot replace it without reducing the richness of the phenomenon of life. Similar restrictions apply to the contact with people. Psychologists claim that the number of people with whom a person is able to establish a real relationship, is limited to 150 persons. Excess of contacts leads to superficiality and temporariness. The discovery that life partner or family members are involved in compulsive or inappropriate online erotic behavior causes a shock. Partners are then in a very difficult position, they don’t know how to behave, what method of operation to adopt. The most common reactions include: attempt to take responsibility of the loved ones, attempts “to deserve the love”, pushing their own needs on the back burner of their interests, strong emotional attachment to a partner with exclusion of admitting the existence of the disease, loss of self-identity and lack of perception of own feelings and needs. All of these indicate the existence of so-called codependency to your partner. In fact the addiction affects not just one person, but the functioning of the entire family.

C’est qui constitue l’objectif de cet article c’est le culte du tableau de la Vierge Marie durant l’histoire du sanctuaire à Studzianna dès ces débuts, c’est-à-dire de la deuxième moitié du XVIIe siècle jusqu’à la fin du XIXe siècle. Pendant presque deux centenaires le sanctuaire a vécu le grand développement ce qui était visible dans de nombreaux pèlerinages. Dans ces pèlerinages prennaient part les rois et les nobles, le clergé et le peuple, pour prier les grâces au pieds de la Sainte Famille de Nazaret. Tout d’abord on a présenté l’histoire de Studzianna et celle du tableau „Jésus, Vierge Marie et St Joseph” jusqu’à 1671, c’est-à-dire, jusqu’au moment de la proclamation du décret dans lequel on a reconnu ce tableau comme miraculeux. Dans l’article on a présenté la situation géographique de Studzianna, ces propriétaires, l’histoire du tableau, le commencement du culte et on a discuté le problème à propos du titre du tableau. Ensuite on a présenté les manifestations du culte du tableau, ainsi que les effects des travaux de la commision de primat. Les travaux ont fini par la publication du décret déjà mentionné et par son analyse. On a caractérisé miracles et grâces, pèlerinages, offrandes votives et d’autres éléments témoignant le culte du tableau.

Poznań, a city in central-western Poland, is located in the lowland region but has no less attractive geomorphological and human history. It was here that Poland was born at the end of the tenth century. The city’s location is connected with the meridian course of the Warta River valley. In contrast, in the northern part of the city, there is a vast area of the frontal moraines of the Poznań Phase of the Weichselian Glaciation. Against the backdrop of the geomorphological development of the city, the article presents the existing geosites, classified as urban geosites. The present geosites include three lapidaries with Scandinavian postglacial erratics, one of them also with stoneware, a fragment of a frontal push moraine and impact craters. Besides, three locations of proposed geosites with rich geomorphological and/or human history were identified. These are as follows: the peat bog located in the northern part of the city, defence ramparts as exhumed anthropogenic forms, and the Warta River valley. The existing and proposed geosites in Poznań were evaluated in three ways. In general, it should be assumed that the proposed new geosites are higher ranked than the current ones.

The paper presents a review of contributions to the scientific discussion on modern methods and tools for public participation in urban planning. This discussion took place in Obrzycko near Poznań, Poland. The meeting was designed to allow for an ample discussion on the themes of public participatory geographic information systems, participatory geographic information systems, volunteered geographic information, citizen science, Geoweb, geographical information and communication technology, Geo-Citizen participation, geo-questionnaire, geo-discussion, GeoParticipation, Geodesign, Big Data and urban planning. Participants in the discussion were scholars from Austria, Brazil, the Czech Republic, Finland, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, the United Kingdom, and the USA. A review of public participation in urban planning shows new developments in concepts and methods rooted in geography, landscape architecture, psychology, and sociology, accompanied by progress in geoinformation and communication technologies. The discussions emphasized that it is extremely important to state the conditions of symmetric cooperation between city authorities, urban planners and public participation representatives, social organizations, as well as residents.

The main aim of the study was to determine the risk of two selected zoonosis infections caused by Giardia duodenalis and Cryptosporidium spp. among an occupational group of veterinarians in Poland. Two hundred and ninety-seven samples of stool were tested for the presence of Giardia cysts and Cryptosporidium oocysts using Direct Fluorescent Assay (DFA). There were no positive results for Cryptosporidium. The presence of Giardia cysts was found in two samples of faeces (0.67%). The risk with regard to the parasites Giardia duodenalis and Cryptosporidium spp. seems to be low among the group of veterinarians.

Jedną z przeszkód w dialogu małżeńskim jest ignorowanie istnienia rzeczywistości, jaką jest odrębność psychiczna między mężczyzną i kobietą. Każdy z nich przeżywa inaczej swoją wartość. Poczucie własnej wartości jest podstawą dobrego samopoczucia psychicznego. Od tego podstawowego nastroju zależą zainteresowania oraz stosunek do swojego partnera i do innych ludzi. Obserwując zachowania niektórych mężczyzn, można powiedzieć, że męski sposób myślenia jest typowy dla osób dotkniętych autyzmem. Według psychologii autyzm jest zaburzeniem przejawiającym się poważnym ograniczeniem funkcji intelektualnych i emocjonalnych. Terminu tego używa się, ponieważ opisuje on izolację osoby wobec przyjętych zachowań społecznych. Ma to istotne znaczenie w kształtowaniu komunikacji między małżonkami, gdyż wymusza na żonie zrozumienie i zaakceptowanie męskiego rozumienia dialogu. Mąż mówi, by wypowiedzieć jakąś treść, przekazać ją, komunikować, podczas gdy kobieta wyraża więź z innymi osobami przez sam fakt rozmowy. Różnica ta wiąże się z koniecznością poznania i wzajemnego zrozumienia dwóch koncepcji dialogu: kobiecego i męskiego.
One of the obstacles in the dialogue in marriage is ignoring the existence of mental distinction between man and woman. Each of them experiences his or her own value otherwise. Self-esteem is the foundation of well mental being. Interest and value to your partner and to other people are depended on this basic mood. Observing the behavior of some men, we can say that the male way of thinking is typical for people affected by autism. According to the psychology knowledge, autism is a disorder manifested by serious limitation in intellectual and emotional functioning. This term is used because it describes the isolation of a person against accepted social behavior. This term is used because it describes the isolation of a person against accepted social behavior. This is important in shaping the communication between spouses, because it forces the wife to understand and accept the male understanding of dialogue. The husband speaks to denounce some kind of content, pass it on, communicate, when a woman expresses a bond with others by the mere fact of conversation. This difference requires the knowledge and mutual understanding of the two concepts of dialogue: female and male.
