Zagadnienie apostolstwa świeckich pojmowane jako włączenie się w głoszenie Ewangelii przez cały Kościół odniesione musi być do sakramentu chrztu jako jego źródła. Źródłowy charakter chrztu widoczny jest w kilku aspektach. Podstawowymi są następujące dwa.Pierwszym jest włączenie przez chrzest do wspólnoty Kościoła, który z natury jest apostolski i misyjny. Zadanie apostolskie Kościół wypełnia zarówno przez osoby konsekrowane i mające udział w kapłaństwie sakramentalnym, ale także przez wszystkich świeckich ochrzczonych. Chrzest włączający w Kościół jest więc tym aktem zbawczym, który uzdalnia do realizowania zadań apostolskich.Drugim aspektem jest udział w potrójnej godności Chrystusa - kapłańskiej, prorockiej i królewskiej. We wszystkich tych trzech pojęciach kryje się tajemnica jedności z Chrystusem, który sam będąc pierwszym głoszącym Ewangelię uzdalnia i powołuje wszystkich ochrzczonych do tego zadania.W oby tych aspektach istotną i źródłową rolę spełnia sakrament chrztu.
The issue of lay apostolate understood as the engagement of the whole Church in the preaching of the Gospel must be referenced to the sacrament of baptism as its source. The source nature of baptism can be seen in several aspects. The following are the main two.The first one is the inclusion by baptism into the Church, which is apostolic and missionary by its nature. The Church fulfills the apostolic task by both the consecrated and involved in the sacramental priesthood as well as all the baptized laity. Baptism, which includes into the Church, is the act of salvation which enables us to carry out the tasks of the Apostles.The second aspect is the participation in the triple dignity of Christ - the priestly, prophetic and kingly. In all of these three concepts is hidden the mystery of communion with Christ, who himself being the first to preach the Gospel, enables and calls all the baptized to this task.In both these aspects the crucial and source role is played by the sacrament of baptism.

L’articolo ha per lo scopo di studiare quale è lo spazio di svolgimento dell’azione sacerdotale dei cristiani secondo il libro d’Apocalisse. Le diverse opinioni riguardo allo spazio di svolgimento dell’azione sacerdotale hanno diventato il punto di partenza per studiare il tema: „Lo spazio di svolgimento del sacerdozio dei cristiani nell’Apocalisse”. L’articolo racchiude due parti. Nella prima è stato esposto il problema che ha mostrato la presenza del tema del sacerdozio nell’Apocalisse come pure le opinioni riguardo allo spazio delle funzioni dei cristiani-sacerdoti. La seconda parte contiene l’esegesi dei tre testi. Dall’analisi di essi risulta che l’ambiente in cui i cristiani-sacerdoti svolgono le loro funzioni sacerdotali ha sopratutto la dimensione terrestre. I fedeli che hanno ricevuto la dignità sacerdotale fin dall’inizio della loro vita cristiana, cioè dal loro battesimo, svolgono in diversi modi la loro attività che è stata segnata da questa dignità lungo la storia del mondo. Il loro particolare nella realizzazione della loro dignità sacerdotale si mostra nella loro vita nei confronti delle forze ostili. La loro azione sacerdotale si realizza allora nell’atteggiamento di fedeltà e nella prontezza di offrire la propria vita nel martirio.

The status of the human embryo is the subject of discussion in many environments. The way of perceiving many other bioethical issues depends on the solution to this problem. The Church also takes part in the discussion - in its official teaching as well as in more specialized sectors of its life. The works of Papal Academy „Pro Vita” constitute such a voice of the Church. It gathers scientists from such branches of science as philosophy, law and, first of all, medicine. In 2006 a session of the Academy took place and it was devoted to the status of the human embryo. The subject was formulated in two basic aspects: the biological status and the ethical status. The first one is about determining the biological structure of the embryo as an independent, unique structure typical for a human being. The second one is about determining its individuality, human distinction and dignity which demands protection and respect appropriate for a human being.

W artykule przedstawiono problematykę wymiarowania przez biegłych śladów na pojazdach bezpośrednio ze zdjęć. Przeprowadzono badania wraz z analizą dokładności wymiarowania z fotografii prostopadłych, ukośnych oraz zbadano możliwość zastosowania transformacji fotogrametrycznej pojedynczego zdjęcia ukośnego w celu przywrócenia jego prostopadłosci do fotografowanego obiektu tak, aby zdjęcie ponownie było kartometryczne.
The article presents the issue of measuring traces on vehicles by experts directly from photographs. Tests were carried out, including an analysis of the dimensioning accuracy of perpendicular and oblique photographs, and the possibility of using a photogrammetric transformation of a single oblique photograph to restore its perpendicularity to the photographed object was examined, so that the photograph was cartometric again.

L’annalisi de i testi che riguardano “il vedere di Dio” si concentra sui cinque testi dalla Prima Lettera di san Giovanni (3,1.2.6; 4,12.20) ed un testo dalla Terza Leitera di san Giovanni (3 J 11 ). L’esegesi di questi testi ci dia una idea globale sulla natura e del ruolo del “vedere di Dio” nelle Lettere di san Giovanni. Generalmente si puo dire, che “il vedere” riguarda sia “il vedere di Dio o del Cristo glorificato” dalla prospettiva storica (l J 3,1.2.6; 4,12.20; 3 J 11), sia dalla prospettiva escatologica (l J 3,2). Nel primo caso si puo anche distinguere “il vedere” nel senso naturale (l J 4, 12.20), che infatti esclude la possibilita di vedere di Dio e nel senso metaforico (l J 3, 1.6; 3 J 11 ), che significa l’esperienza di un’uomo gia in comunione con Dio nella fede e amore, ma ancora limitato nella sua condizione storica. Nel secondo caso (l J 3,2) si dice “del vedere” perfetto, pieno e definitivo nella realta escatologica. Questo vedere nel linguaggio biblico significa la piena comunione con Dio in eternita.

Die Studie zur Theologie des Glaubens von dem Jlinger, den Jesus liebte, ermoglich den einmaligen Weg des Jlingers zu entdecken, in dem das Christentum seit der Antike eine ideale Jlingergestalt sah. Es ist ein Glaubensweg, der im vierten Evangelium in den aufeinander folgenden Szenen dargestellt wird, um - natlirlich bis zu einem gewissen Grad - nicht nur mit seinem geistlichen Profil des Jlingers, sondern auch mit seiner Glaubensantwort vertraut zu machen, die im Johannes-Evangelium als eine Antwort auf die Gottesoffenbarung in der Person Jesu Christi verstanden wird. Diese Antwort spiegelt die innere Einstellung des Jlingers, den die Liebe Gottes (die Gnade) be rlihrt und sie kommt in erster Linie in seiner Haltung zum Ausdruck, eher als in den Worten. Das Gesamtbild der analysierten Texte zeichnet das Bild des Jlingers, den sein Herz mit seinem Meister vereint und dessen Antwort unverkennbar mit seinem ganzen Leben gegeben wird: in der Schweigsamkeit und in sparsamen Satzen, die jedoch den Kern der Dinge treffen. Die durchgeflihrte Analyse zu den acht Perikopen, in denen der Jlinger die wichtigste Rolle spielt, ermoglicht darin faszinierende Details zu sehen. Sein Glaubensweg, verstanden nicht nur in Bezug auf Jesus, sondern auch auf Maria, Petrus, Andreas und die anderen Jlinger, ist ein Prozess, in dem er zunehmend erkennt, wer Jesus ist. Es ist seine bewundernswerte Verhaltensweise in immer neuen Situationen: wegen Empfindlichkeit, Reaktion, Mut, Konsequenz und vor allem wegen seiner direkt ungenannten, aber stets splirbaren Liebe zu Jesus, im bezeichnenden Wunsch, in der Nahe zu ihm zu sein.

This paper discusses translations of biblical passages into Kashubian, which originated in the Lutheran circles between the 16th and the 19th centuries, followed by translations made in the Catholic circles in the 20th and the 21st centuries. The history of these translations has been divided into two periods: “old translations” and “contemporary translations.” The former comprise various bibli[1]cal texts preserved in manuscripts and printed monuments, which came into being between 1586 and the second half of the 19th century. The fundamental texts of this period include the works by Szymon Krofey (1586), Michał Pontanus (1643), and Perykopy smołdzińskie (1699–1701). The old translations were done from German in the Protestant circles in West Pomerania. In turn, the “contemporary trans[1]lations” of biblical texts into Kashubian embrace translations from the second half of the 20th century, which were produced in the Catholic environment of Gdańsk Pomerania: from Latin (Mk 4:3-20) by Alojzy Nagel (1973), from Latin (four Gospels) by Rev. Franciszek Grucza (1992), from Polish (the New Testament and the Psalms) by Eugeniusz Gołąbek (1993–2007) and my own translations from Hebrew and Greek (the Four Gospels, the Pentateuch, Ecclesiastes) prepared in 2001–2020.

This paper discusses translations of biblical passages into Kashubian which originated in Evangelical circles between the 16lh and 19th centuries. Although the tradition of translation dates back to the 16th century, translation of the entire Bible, or at least one complete biblical book, which would have originated in this particular environment has not been preserved. Presumably it never existed. The oldest translations of biblical texts into Kashubian were generally based on the German language. The first printed book with texts in Kashubian included, among others, eleven works defined as Psalms and a range of short passages originating both from the Old Testament and the New Testament. This very book was the Simon Krofey’s Hymnal published in Gdańsk in 1586. Translation of The Small Catechism of Martin Luther came out approximately half a century later, and similarly to the Krofey’s Hymnal it included many biblical passages. However, the biggest collection of biblical texts which has survived is dated for the turn of the 17th and 18* centuries. These texts are found in the so-called Smoldzinian Perikopes, containing lessons and Gospels for all Sundays and church holidays. Many smaller passages of the older translation of biblical texts represent only occasional translations of biblical passages incorporated in other religious texts. The first intended and methodical translation of texts from the Sacred Scripture into Kashubian was the collection of so-called Smoldzinian Perikopes. Research conducted on these translations allows to conclude that although authors of these translations did not translate from original texts, but in most cases from the German language, their translations of the Bible are characterised by a high degree of faithfulness to the thought of original texts. Moreover, accuracy and efforts to make the texts comprehensible and literary beautiful grant their authors the best testimony.

Giovanni (1,10; 2,5.7.14) perche solo in questa Lettera la parola logos si riferisce alla Parola di Dio. L' esegesi di quattro testi ci da una idea globale sulla natura e sul ruolo della Parola divina.Logos tou Theou appare come la rivelazione portata da Gesu in cui viene sottolineato il motivo soteriologico (1,10; 2,14) e il motivo dell'amore fraterno (2,5.7). La Parola di Dio si identifica con il precetto dell'amore vicendevole che condiziona l'identita cristiana. La Parola si rivela pure come la forza interiore che illumina il credente e che gli fa vincere il Maligno. In questo modo il suo ruolo per la Chiesa e didattico e formatrice.

The author of the article analyses eights passages from the Gospel according to St. John which contain quotations from the Book of Psalms. The quotations come from Ps 22,19 (Jn 19,24), Ps 41,9 (Jn 13,18), Ps 69,5 (Jn 15,25), Ps 69,10 (Jn 2,17), Ps 69,28 (Jn 19,28); Ps 78,24 (Jn 6,31), Ps 82,6 (Jn 10,34) and Ps 118,26 (Jn 12,13). As a result of the undertaken inquiry the author states that all the quotations from the psalms were reinterpreted in a specific theological perspective. The author of the Fourth Gospel was not interested in the meaning of the quotations in their original context but rather in the Christological thought embedded in them. From those psalms, read in a Christological key within a new context, emerges an image of Jesus who is the Son of God in an absolute sense (Ps 82,6), the Messianic King (Ps 118,26), who despite unjustified hatred on the part of the world (Ps 69,5), unbelief on the part of some of His interlocutors (Ps 78,24) and His awareness of the hostility of one of His disciples (Ps 41,10), zealously fulfills the Father’s plan (Ps 69,10), surrendering himself to all the humiliations (Ps 22,19) and tribulations of salvific passion (Ps 69,22). It should also be underscored that many exegetes interpret the content of those quotations not merely literally, i.e. by linking them to historical events, but expound their deeper spiritual sense.

This article aims to „The true light (Jn 1.9a). Jesus as the light in the Prologue of the Fourth Gospel”, was to explain the meaning of the symbol of the light connected with the person of Jesus Christ - the Logos in the Prologue of the Gospel of St John. The analysis of the text helped to establish that the author wanted to show the person o f Logos as a necessary condition of all life, and above all, the supernatural life (Jn 1,4). By revealing the divine life through the Incarnation, whose symbol is a light, he met with extreme hostility, which, however, is unable to destroy him (Jn 1,5). He is the light in an absolute sense (Jn 1,9). No one besides Him can not bestow the light, which in its fullest sense is identified with salvation. Father (John 5,31-32.37-38; 8,16-19), the Holy Spirit (Jn 15,26), the work of Jesus (Jn 5,36,10,25) and John the Baptist (Jn 1,7-8; 19nn) bear witness of His light, that people believed in him and thus have eternal life (Jn 20,31).

We define for each group G the skein algebra of G. We show how it is related to the Kauffman bracket skein modules. We prove that skein algebras of abelian groups are isomorphic to symmetric subalgebras of corresponding group rings. Moreover, we show that, for any abelian group G, homomorphisms from the skein algebra of G to C correspond exactly to traces of SL(2,C)-representations of G. We also solve, for abelian groups, the conjecture of Bullock on SL(2,C) character varieties of groups - we show that skein algebras are isomorphic to the coordinate rings of the corresponding character varieties.

We consider pure mth order subcoercive operators with complex coefficients acting on a connected nilpotent Lie group. We derive Gaussian bounds with the correct small time singularity and the optimal large time asymptotic behaviour on the heat kernel and all its derivatives, both right and left. Further we prove that the Riesz transforms of all orders are bounded on the Lp -spaces with p ∈ (1, ∞). Finally, for second-order operators with real coefficients we derive matching Gaussian lower bounds and deduce Harnack inequalities valid for all times.

The author tries to find the answer what precisely is the reality in the Church of Ephesus that is described by the words: „you neglected your first love” (Rev 2, 4). He analyses the whole letter to the Church of Ephesus and makes many references to the whole of Revelation to show the meaning of the terms „love” and „the first”. In this Iight he realises that the formula of complaint (2, 4) says only about the love of the Church to Jesus Christ and that it refers to the first period of Christian life in Epfesus’ community.

Katarzyna Sikora’s question about the nature of ethical good that underlies the codes of psychologists’ professional ethics is justified. It leads to reflection on the nature of good, which, however, does not preoccupy the authors or users of ethics codes very much. What they focus on is mainly practical regulations concerning various kinds of professional conduct, which experience proves to be indispensable for keeping practitioners of the profession within the bounds of its ethos as well as within the standards of its knowledge and skills. The good that the recipient of psychological services should enjoy and the psychologist should strive to provide remains vague. This is visible in comparison with other professions rich in axiological content, such as medical or legal professions. Good in the form of health or enjoying one’s rights in society, which determines the axiological content in those professions, is elusive in the case of the psychologist. This axiological content in turn determines and constitutes the basis for the ethics of medical and legal professions, respectively. Psychologists have no such basis, or, at any rate, such a basis has not been clearly and distinctly identified for them. Personal integrity is proposed as the kind of good that psychologists should seek to provide the recipients of their services with when practicing their profession.

Opis:
Cases of heavy traffic congestion (commonly referred to as traffic jams) have negative influences on the economy, public health, and social life. This makes it important to assist drivers in these situations with Internet of Things (IoT) systems. The aim of this article is to present a low-cost device that supports driving in traffic jams. The system, which is based on data from a laser sensor with a range of up to 40 m, controls the distances to vehicles in front of and behind a moving car. Through audio and video signals, it warns the driver whether the vehicle in front of or behind the equipped vehicle is too close. This allows the driver to control the distance and avoid minor collisions.

The paper presents a numerical model of the novel design of the axial magnetic bearing with six cylindrical poles. The motivation behind this idea was to eliminate vibra- tions in rotating machinery due to the axial load. Common conception of such a bearing provides a single component of the electromagnetic force, which is not enough to reduce transverse and lateral vibrations of the armature. The proposed design allows for avoiding wobbling of the disc with the use of a few axial force components that are able to actively compensate the axial load and stabilise the disc in a balanced position. Before a real device is manufactured, a virtual prototype should be prepared. The accurate numerical model will provide essential knowledge about the performance of the axial magnetic bearing.

The article analyzes various forecasts of production, consumption, and the trade balance of primary energy and secondary fuels first of all in the United States and partly in Canada. The combined analysis of the US in Canadian economies is well-founded as these economies are closely related. However, the main emphasis was on US economy. The analysis covers different scenarios of fuel and energy demand, including the currently implemented baseline scenario, the new policies scenario, assuming that countries comply with the emission limits set at the COP21 in Paris, and the environmental scenario, the strictest from the point of view of environmental protection, aimed at restricting global warming to less than 2°C above pre-industrial temperatures. The analyzed values are different for different scenarios, as shown in the figures. Most attention was paid to fossil fuels, that is, oil, natural gas, bituminous coal, and lignite. The forecasts of production, consumption, and import of individual carriers are presented. It was shown that the United States policy places greatest emphasis on the energy security and self-sufficiency. As of today, the United States is one of the most hydrocarbon-rich countries, while low electricity prices are the reason why American products are competitive compared to products from the European Union and China. Reducing the use of coal in the U.S. economy in favor of renewable energy sources will result in an oversupply of this raw material in the international markets, which, in turn, will lead to a decrease in prices. The increasing production of oil and gas will have a similar effect.
W artykule przeprowadzono analizę różnych prognoz wydobycia, konsumpcji i salda wymiany energii pierwotnej oraz paliw wtórnych w Stanach Zjednoczonych oraz częściowo w Kanadzie. Analiza łączna gospodarek Stanów Zjednoczonych i Kanady jest jak najbardziej uzasadniona, gdyż gospodarki te są ze sobą ściśle powiązane. Analiza obejmuje różne scenariusze zapotrzebowania na paliwa i energię, od scenariusza bazowego realizowanego do tej pory, poprzez scenariusz nowych polityk zakładający, że kraje stosują się do ustalonych na szczeblu krajowym pułapów emisji, zadeklarowanych po COP21 w Paryżu, aż do scenariusza ekologicznego, najbardziej restrykcyjnego pod względem ochrony środowiska i zakładającego nie przekraczanie temperatury na Ziemi o więcej 2°C w stosunku do ery przedindustrialnej. Oczywiście w każdym ze scenariuszy analizowane wielkości są różne co przedstawiono na rysunkach. Najwięcej uwagi poświęcono surowcom kopalnym, czyli ropie naftowej, gazowi ziemnemu i węglowi zarówno kamiennemu jak i brunatnemu. Przedstawiono prognozy wydobycia, zużycia, a także importu poszczególnych nośników. Pokazano, że amerykańska polityka ogromny nacisk kładzie na bezpieczeństwo energetyczne i samowystarczalność energetyczną. Stany Zjednoczone to dzisiaj jeden z najbardziej zasobnych w węglowodory krajów, a niskie ceny energii sprawiają, że amerykańskie produkty są konkurencyjne w stosunku do produktów z Unii Europejskiej a nawet Chin. Ograniczanie wykorzystywania węgla w gospodarce amerykańskiej na rzecz odnawialnych źródeł energii spowoduje pojawienie się większych ilości tego surowca na rynkach międzynarodowych, co doprowadzi do spadku cen. Również wzrastająca produkcja ropy naftowej i gazu będzie miała podobny skutek.
