Circuit-field model based on the mass production single-phase induction motor was applied in Maxwell ver. 14 program. The electromagnetic and output performance characteristics of three (3) different types of double stator permanent magnet machines are quantitatively compared and presented in this study, in order to determine the most promising machine topology amongst the considered machine types, for potential practical applications(s). Two-dimensional (2D) and three-dimensional (3D) finite element analysis (FEA) methods are deployed in the computation of the performance metrics using ANSYS-MAXWELL software. The compared machines in this work are designated as: Machine 1, Machine 2 and Machine 3, respectively. The investigated machines have varying structural arrangements and two separate excitation sources. Machine 1 has its magnets situated in the outer stator with corresponding armature windings on both inner and outer stators. The magnets of Machine 2 are located in its inner stator while it has armature windings on both inner and outer stator parts. More so, Machine 3 is equipped with magnets in its inner and outer stators, though without armature windings on the inner stator section. The considered performance metrics include: inducedelectromotive force (induced-EMF), torque, power, demagnetization, losses and efficiency. The results show that the investigated Machine 3 has higher induced-EMF value and more sinusoidal electromotive force waveform than the other compared machines. Consequently, Machine 3 also has larger electromagnetic torque and power. Moreover, Machine 1 has the best flux-weakening potential, obtained from both the ratio of its maximum speed to base speed and the flux-weakening factor ( kp).

This study presents the dependence of the level and harmonic structure of the cogging torque in permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM) to imperfections of permanent magnet (PM) dimensions and positions, which can not be avoided in massproduction. Slightly diverse dimensions and misplacements of PMs are introducing asymmetries in magnetic field distribution which cause additional harmonic components. A finite element method (FEM) and Fast Fourier transform (FFT) were used to calculate cogging torque harmonic components with regard to several combinations of PM assembly imperfections. It has been established and proved that unequal PMs cause magnetic asymmetries which give rise to additional cogging torque harmonic components and consequently increase the total cogging torque. It is also shown that in some particular combinations the influence of an individual PM imprecision could compensate with others due to different phase shifts which can result even in the decrease of cogging torque. Considering presented results it is possible to foresee which additional harmonic components will comprise the cogging torque of mass-produced PMSMs due to PM imperfections. In this way the designers are able to predetermine required manufacturing tolerances to keep the level of cogging torque in a admissible level. Simulation results were verified and confirmed by laboratory tests.

This paper presents an analytical model of a three-phase axial flux coreless generator excited by permanent magnets, with special focus on determining the model parameters. An important aspect of this model is the derivation of a coefficient that corrects the flux on the inside and outside edges of the magnets. The obtained parameters are verified by performing field analyses and measurements. A comparison of the results show satisfactory convergence, which confirms the accuracy of the proposed analytical model.

The reluctance network model of a permanent magnet tubular motor (PMTM) has been presented in the paper. The reluctance values of the magnetic circuit have been calculated with using analytical expressions. The air gap reluctance has been determined with using both analytical expressions and the finite element method (FEM). Using the calculation model, the flux values coupled with the windings have been obtained and used in the calculations of force value. The calculated results have been compared with numerical and measured ones.

Opis:
The torque profile of a double-stator permanent magnet (PM) synchronous machine of 90 mm stator diameter having different rotor pole numbers as well as dual excitation is investigated in this paper. The analysis includes a comparative study of the machine’s torque and power-speed curves, static torque and inductance characteristics, losses and unbalanced magnetic force. The most promising flux-weakening potential is revealed in 13- and 7-rotor pole machines. Moreover, the machines having different rotor/stator (Nr/Ns) pole combinations of the form Nr = Ns ± 1 have balanced and symmetric static torque waveforms variation with the rotor position in contrast to the machines having Nr = Ns ± 2. Further, the inductance results of the analyzed machines reveal that the machines with odd rotor pole numbers have better fault-tolerant capability than their even rotor pole equivalents. A prototype of the developed double-stator machine having a 13-pole rotor is manufactured and tested for verification.

The paper presents an algorithm and software for the optimal design of permanent magnet brushless DC motors. Such motors are powered by DC voltage sources via semiconductor switches connected to the motor phase belts. The software is adjusted to the design of motors with NdFeB high energy density magnets. An attention has been given to issues important in the design of the motors, i.e., permanent magnet selection, structure of magnetic circuit, and armature windings. Particularly, precision of calculation of the permanent magnet operating point, visualization of selection process of the winding belts, and magnetic circuit dimensioning have been investigated. The authors have been trying to make the equations more specific and accurate than those presented in the literature. The user software interface allows changes in the magnetic circuit dimensions, and in the winding parameters. It is possible to examine simultaneously the influence of these changes on the calculation results. The software operates both with standard and inverted (outer rotor) motor structure. To perform optimization, a non-deterministic method based on the evolution strategy (ž + λ) - ES has been used.

X-ray magnetic circular dichroism measurements on the cobalt (iron) K edges and samarium L$\text{}_{2}$, L$\text{}_{3}$ edges of Sm$\text{}_{2}$Fe$\text{}_{17}$, Sm$\text{}_{2}$Co$\text{}_{17}$ and their interstitial hydrides and nitrides are reported. Normal absorption profiles show considerable changes upon nitriding for iron- and cobalt K edge and for samarium L$\text{}_{2}$, L$\text{}_{3}$ edges. Much weaker changes are observed upon hydriding. Similarly, significant differences of X-MCD spectra appear between the host Sm$\text{}_{2}$Fe$\text{}_{17}$ (Sm$\text{}_{2}$Co$\text{}_{17}$) and the nitrides, whereas X-MCD signals of the hydrides are similar to those of the hosts. The effects are analysed and discussed in terms of influence of interstitial atom neighbours on the Co(Fe) 4p and Sm 5d electronic bands.

The paper discusses in detail the construction of the Core Less Axial Flux Permanent Magnet generator simulation model. The model has been prepared in such a way that full compatibility with the elements of the SimPowerSystem library of the Matlab/Simulink package is preserved, which allows easy use of the presented simulation model for testing the work of the generator as part of a larger system. The parameters used in the model come from the MES 3D calculations performed in the Ansys/Maxwell software, for a machine prototype with a rated power of 2.8 kW, which was then used to experimentally verify the correct operation of the presented model of machine.

Presently, most relevant applications use radial flux machines. Design and production of these machines have been made both efficient and economical in the past few decades and now this type of electrical machine is used in almost every industry. However for some applications where the limiting factor is the length of the machine, better option might be to use axial flux permanent magnet machines. This type of machine is very highly efficient and provides very good power/mass and moment/mass ratio. Discussed in this paper are selected types of axial flux permanent magnet machines. Presented characteristics of disc-type motors include: TORUS NS, TORUS S, disc - type motor with salient poles, machines with an inner rotor and coreless machines.

Autorzy zaprezentowali struktury układów napędowych, urządzenia pomocnicze, układy pomiarowe sygnałów analogowych oraz stosowane algorytmy sterowania. W pracy zamieszczono wyniki badań w postaci oscylogramów napięć i prądów płynących w elementach układu.

This study investigates a digital control system which is used in bearingless permanent magnet synchronous motors (BPMSMs). Compared with traditional permanent magnet synchronous motors, a BPMSM is characterized by higher speed and no mechanic friction. Therefore, the application value of the latter to the special area is higher than that of the former. An analysis from previous work on the BPMSM had proved its feasibility, and some performances such as suspension force, inductance and so on were also investigated. Based on this analysis, this study focuses on solving control problems in practical applications by designing a control system. The control system design includes overall schematic, hardware and software designs. Main software systems, including the force/current transform module and closed loop control module for radial displacement, are analyzed. Interface circuit for radial displacement, current feedback circuit and dead zone protection circuit are designed for the hardware system. Finally, several performance experiments have been conducted to verify the effectiveness of the designed digital control system. Experiment results indicate that the rotor has unique characteristics, such as stable suspension performance, good start-of-suspension performance, and rapid anti-disturbance features.

A problem of measurement of Barkhausen noise coming from permanent magnet is investigated in the paper. This is important for correct conclusion when permanent magnet parameters are measured. Currently, Barkhausen noise is measured for soft magnetic materials for detecting material defects, for example, a microcracks and a tensions. A measurement of Barkhausen noise in permanent magnets may be useful for prognosing the stability of magnets working at duty cycles. Changes of working point of permanent magnet caused by cyclic external load can be examined in dedicated laboratory stand. In the paper first the measuring stand is presented, next the mathematical model of permanent magnet parameters is discussed and the measurement results are presented. They show that magnetoacoustic and electromagnetic phenomena are observed in the permanent magnet under test and their parameters may be measured.

In this study, the optimization of air gap magnetic flux density of open slotted axial flux permanent magnet (AFPM) machine which was developed for wind turbine has been obtained using the Taguchi experimental method. For this, magnetic analyzes were performed by ANSYS Maxwell program according to Taguchi table. Then the optimum values have been determined and the average magnetic flux density values have been calculated for air gap and iron core under load and no-load conditions with ANSYS Maxwell. Traditionally, 15625 analyzes are required for 6 independent variables and 5 levels when experimental method is used. In this study, optimum values are determined by 25 magnetic analyzes, which use L25 orthogonal array. For this purpose, both factor effect graph and signal to noise ratios are used, according to the factors and levels which are obtained from the factor effect graph and the signal to noise ratio. Parameters are re-analyzed by Maxwell. The optimum factors and levels are determined. For optimized values, the air gap magnetic flux density is improved by 65.7% and 173.26%, respectively, according to the average value and the initial design. Therefore, the variables are optimized in a shorter time with Taguchi experimental design method instead of the traditional design method for open slotted AFPM generator. In addition, the results were analyzed statistically using ANOVA and Regression model. The variables were found to be significant by ANOVA. The degree of influence of the variables on the air gap magnetic flux density was also determined by the Regression model.

Among the various methods for generating electricity on a ship, a shaft generator system is characterized by the highest energy and economic efficiency. The use of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) in these systems, in comparison to classic synchronous generators, improves the ship’s propulsion efficiency and the system’s reliability. The problem of adjusting the PMSG’s excitation and changing the speed of the generator’s shaft can be solved by the use of modern power and electronic systems. This article presents a method for controlling the mechatronic system of a shaft generator with a PMSG, which enables stable operation to be achieved when changing the rotational speed of the shaft. Analytical and simulation studies were carried out and have enabled the boundaries of the area in which the PMSG can operate to be determined, while maintaining the required electrical power. The results have shown that the use of a PMSG instead of an EESG can increase the energy efficiency of the shaft generator system and increases the system’s reliability

The paper presents results of a computer simulation from the applications of a synchronous motor with permanent magnets to drive of a mining longwall shearer pulling. The results were compared with currently used to drive pulling systems the squirrel-cage asynchronous motor supplied by frequency converter. The loads occurring in the systems of mining shearer pulling is characterized by high dynamics and variability. The results of a dynamics parameters, economics and especially thermal propulsion using a permanent magnet synchronous motor used in place of the squirrel-cage asynchronous motor commonly speak for use this type of motors on drives of a mining longwall shearer pulling.

The presented study examines the effect of voltage subharmonics, which relates to components of the frequency less than the fundamental voltage harmonic, and the currents and vibration of the line start permanent magnet synchronous motor. The obtained experimental results corresponded to a production motor with a rated power of 3 kW and a rated speed of 1500 rpm. The main purpose of our study was to highlight that the subharmonic value had a non-linear effect on the vibration level of the considered motor. It was found that for subharmonic values up to approx. 0.5% of the vibration level could be considered acceptable for long-term operation, whereas vibration caused by voltage subharmonics of values greater than approx. 0.8% might promote machine damage.

In this study, we have developed the manufacturing technology for high strength gray cast irons by using the spent permanent magnet scraps. The cast specimen inoculated by using a spent magnet scraps showed the excellent tensile strength up to 306MPa. This tensile strength value is 50MPa higher than that of the specimen cast without inoculation, and is similar to that of the specimen inoculated by using the expensive misch-metal. These superior mechanical properties are attributed to complex sulfides created during solidification that promote the formation and growth of Type-A graphite. It is therefore concluded that spent magnets scrap can provide an efficient and cost-effective inoculation agent for the fabrication of high-performance gray cast iron.

Opis:
The purpose of this paper is to develop a dynamic thermal model of a permanent magnet excited synchronous motor (PMSM). The model estimates the temperature at specific points of the machine during operation. The model is implemented using thermal network theory, whose parameters are determined by means of analytical approaches. Usually thermal models are initialized and referenced to room temperature. However, this can lead to incorrect results, if the simulations are performed when the electrical machine operates under “warm” conditions. An approach is developed and discussed in this paper, which captures the model in critical states of the machine. The model gives feedback by online measured quantities to estimate the initial temperature. The paper provides an extended dynamic thermal model, which leads to a more accurate and more efficient thermal estimation.

This paper investigates the influence of the power converter on the performance of Surface Mounted Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor drives, which employ High Frequency voltage injection to achieve low and zero speed control. Experimental results demonstrate the remarkable performance of the sensor less speed and position control employing the Matrix Converter and the contributions of the Space Modulation Profiling technique. The Matrix Converter has almost zero dead time, which means that behaves almost like an ideal power converter and achieves better results than the conventional Voltage Source Inverter. A comparison of the sensor less technique proposed using both converters is made.

In order to show the working principle and features of the proposed dual-rotor with surface-mounted PM’s and iron poles, a toroidallywounded slotted single-stator FCAFPM machine is investigated and analyzed in detail, using 3-D FEAnalysis. The control range, back electromotive force (back-EMF), output and cogging torque components have been evaluated.

The paper presents a method of determining the efficiency of the slewing drive system applied in tower cranes. An algorithm for the proper selection of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for crane applications is presented. In the first stage of our research the proper PMSM was proposed on the basis of the simulation calculation. Next, the PM motor was examined on a special test bench. The experimental setup allows determining major electrical and mechanical parameters of the motor drive system. The applied slewing system consists of: an inverter, gear, cable drum and a permanent magnet motor. The performance and efficiency of the system were experimentally determined. Selected results of the experimental measurement are presented and discussed.

The magnetic field due to a permanent magnet of a tube-side segment as shape and of radial-oriented magnetization is considered. Such a sheet modelling a single pole of the magnet is used to express the suitable contribution to magnetic quantities. A boundary-integral approach is applied that is based on a virtual scalar quantity attributed to the magnet pole. Such an approach leads to express analytically the scalar magnetic potential and the magnetic flux density by means of the elliptic integrals. Numerical examples of the computed fields are given. The general idea of the presented approach is mainly directed towards designing the magnetic field within the air gap of electric machines with permanent magnets as an excitation source. Other technical structures with permanent magnets may be a subject of this approach as well.

The paper presents construction and principles of operation of coreless axial flux PM machine. In its construction new solution of stator windings' mounting was used, that allowed to exploit active parts of machine more efficiently. Electric disc motors have small axial dimensions and can be installed directly in constructions of machine tools, technological devices and independent means of transportation. The interest in disc machines has grown recently due to introduction into operation new slotless and coreless constructions that allow, by using SEMA (Segmented ElectroMagnetic Array) technology, not only to eliminate ferromagnetic yokes and stator's cores, but also to increase its efficiency, decrease weight and size and decrease level of noises and vibrations of machine during its operation. There was also presented three dimensional model of machine and its parameters and characteristics obtained due to simulation. Results of this simulation were verified with experimental measurements conducted on physical model. To verify numeric model by comparing it to physical model, a dependence of electromagnetic torque from phase winding's constant current was determined for static state.

The paper presents a coupled dynamic mechanical-electromagnetic finite element analysis of a vibration energy harvesting converter with permanent-magnet excitation. The system consists of a small, miliwatt power range, linear-motion permanent-magnet generator connected to a cantilever-beam spring element. The finite element equations derived for the mechanical part of the system according to the 1-D Timoshenko beam theory are coupled strongly with equations describing the 2-D distribution of magnetic field in the generator and those associated with the electric circuit. The time-stepping procedure based on the Crank-Nicolson discretisation schema is applied to the obtained system of differential-algebraic equations. The model is shown to provide satisfactory predictions of the system dynamic performance which is confirmed experimentally.

A THz free electron laser is being built in Ariel University. Upon completion it is intended to become a user facility. The free electron laser is designed to emit radiation between 1 and 5 THz. It is planned to operate in the super radiance regime. The anticipated output of the free electron laser is in excess of 150 kW instantaneous power. An essential part of every free electron laser is a device generating a periodic magnetic field denoting the wiggler. Here we describe a design of a classical Halbach type permanent magnetic wiggler for the THz free electron laser. The main novelty in this paper is the choice of wiggler parameters suitable for operation in the THz frequency range. Considerations such as radiation wave length, wiggler gain and electron optics are taken into account.

Multivariate calculations of the electrodynamic accelerator with a permanent magnet support and a ferromagnetic core are presented in the paper. The calculations were made with using the Magnetostatic module of Maxwell/ANSYS software. The purpose of these calculations was to determine the size and location of permanent magnets in terms of maximizing the force acting on the projectile. In the presented paper, three cases have been analyzed. In order to perform a comparative analysis of the obtained results of calculations, dimensions of the rails, projectile and outer dimensions of the core were kept constant.

In recent years, the use of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generator (PMSG) in ship power plant system has increased. PMSGs are characterized by better properties than the classic and commonly used synchronous generators. In comparison with classic synchronous generators, PMSGs do not have a voltage regulator, and hence as the load increases, the voltage at the output of the generator decreases. This paper presents a study of control strategies for 5-phase permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSMs) supplied by a five-leg voltage source inverter. Based on the vectorial decomposition of the multi-phase machine, fictitious machines, magnetically decoupled, allow a more adequate control. In this paper, our study focuses on the vector control of a multi-phase machine using a linear proportional-integral-derivative (PID) current regulator in the cases of sinusoidal and trapezoidal back-electromotive force (EMF) waveforms. In order to determine currents’ references, two strategies are adopted. First one aims to minimize copper losses under constant torque, while the second one targets to increase torque for a given copper losses. These techniques are tested under a variable speed control strategy based on a proportional-integral (PI) regulator and experimentally validated.

This paper evaluates the performance of fractional-slot per pole winding configurations for tubular permanent magnet (PM) machines that can effectively eliminate the most undesirable space harmonics in a simple and cost-effective manner. The benefits of the proposed machine topology winding configurations are illustrated through comparison with 9-slot, 10-pole tubular PM machine developed for a free piston energy converter under the same specification and volumetric constraints. It has been shown that the proposed machine topology results in more than 7 times reduction in the eddy current loss in the mover magnets and supporting tube, and hence avoids potential problem of excessive mover temperature and risk of demagnetization.

The paper deals with the problem of V/f control of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor without winding dumper for fan applications. Based on stability analysis, an additional stabilizing loop is introduced. Voltage optimization was carried out in order to minimize the input power of PMSM. In this paper, an integral finite-time sliding mode control scheme is presented for controlling a chaotic permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The controller can stabilize the system output tracking error to zero in a finite time. Using Lyapunov’s stability theory, the stability of the proposed scheme is verified. Numerical simulation results are presented to present the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

Opis:
Permanent magnet (PM) excited synchronous machines used in modern drives for electro-mobiles suffer in high speed regions from the limited battery-voltage. The field weakening requires designing machines with reduced power conversion properties or increasing the size of the power converter. A new concept of such a machine features PM excitation, single-tooth winding and an additional circumferential excitation coil fixed on the stator in the axial center of the machine. By the appropriate feeding of this coil, the amplitude of the voltage effective excitation field can be varied from zero to values above those of the conventional PM-machines. The capability of reducing the excitation field to zero is an important safety aspect in case of failing of the feeding convertor.

In the paper the possibility of use the Permanent Magnet motor as a inhibit system in the automation system has been presented. The same construction allow use the mashine as a brake and a motor. Using Multi pole in the construction it is possible to increase precision of driving, and appropriate control allow use the same machinein in the both cases. All simulations for computing torque, flux density, cogging torque have been performed by programs Flux 2D, and FEMM using Finite Elements and Maxwell Stress Tensors Method.

The paper presents the results of permanent magnets application in AC motors. The main advantage of this motor type is simple construction and inherent self-start. These machines have the same dimensions as induction motors and may be successfully equivalent. Running properties of the 160 kW motor are shown. The investigated motor has higher both power factor and efficiency in comparison to the induction motor.
W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczące zastosowania magnesów trwałych w silnikach prądu przemiennego. Jedną z zalet jest ich prosta budowa i eksploatacja. Ich uruchomienie odbywa się przez bezpośrednie przyłączenie do napięcia zasilającego. Maszyny te mają takie same gabaryty i mogą zastąpić silniki indukcyjne przez ich wymianę. Pokazano charakterystyki eksploatacyjne silnika synchronicznego średniej mocy (P=160 kW) wzbudzanego magnesami trwałymi. Charakteryzuje się on lepszymi parametrami eksploatacyjnymi tj. większym współczynnikiem mocy, większym współczynnikiem sprawności oraz mniejszym prądem pobieranym z sieci.

Artykuł dotyczy prądnic synchronicznych wzbudzanych magnesami trwałymi, które pracują przy znamionowej prędkości obrotowej. Regulacja napięcia prądnicy jest realizowana na zaczepach uzwojenia twornika. Przełączniki zaczepów są takie jak w transformatorach. Rozpatrzono kilka wariantów rozwiązania regulacji napięcia poprzez zmianę zaczepów. Są to rozwiązania które można stosować, do przełączania zaczepów uzwojenia, na postoju prądnicy i w czasie pracy prądnicy. Przedstawiono także rozwiązanie połączenia prądnicy z transformatorem trójuzwojeniowym i regulacją napięcia na zaczepach uzwojeniu transformatora.
This article applies to synchronous generators excited by permanent magnets, which operate at rated rotational speed. The generator voltage is regulated on the armature winding hooks. The tap-changers are the same as in transformers. Several variants of voltage regulation solutions by changing taps were considered. These are solutions that can be used to switch the winding taps, when the generator is stopped and during generator operation. The solution of connecting the generator with a three-winding transformer and voltage regulation on transformer winding taps was also presented.

The traditional modulation method of the inverter in a permanent magnet synchronous mo- tor (PMSM) is lengthy and computationally intensive. Based on this, a simplified sinusoidal pulse width modulation method is proposed. In this method, voltage space vectors in each sector are synthesized, and the sector in which the synthesized vector is located is determined by the rotation angle of the resultant vector, and then the acting time of the basic vector is calculated by the voltage difference of the phase voltage. The problem of trigonometric functions and coordinate conversion is not involved in the whole calculation process, the calculation model is simple, and it is easy to realize digitization. Mathematical modeling is carried out by using the simulation software Matlab, and the correctness of the calculation method after optimization is verified, which provides an idea for the later research of the inverter modulation method.

Przedstawiono bilans mocy przekształcanej w trójfazowym silniku synchronicznym o magnesach trwałych opierając się na prawie zachowania energii. W analizie zastosowano teorię wektorów przestrzennych określonych przez chwilowe wartości wielkości fazowych. Wykazano, że kryteria sterowania optymalnego a) maksimum stosunku moment/strumień i b) zerowej wartości mocy biernej, są sobie równoważne i realizowane są przez strategię sterowania zorientowaną polowo. Zaproponowano nową strukturę regulacyjną mocy biernej silnika synchronicznego wykorzystującą metodą bezpośredniej regulacji momentu i strumienia.
Balance of power inverted in three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor based on conservation of energy low is presented. In analysis space vector theory determine by instantaneous value phases quantities is apply. To prove that optimal control criteria's a) maximum torque/flux ratio b) zero value reactive power are equivalent and could be realised by flux-oriented control strategy. New structure of control of reactive power used direct torque and flux control method is proposed.

This article presents a project and calculations of electromagnetic circuit in axial flux permanent magnet motor with two outer stators and inner rotor. It is an axial flux motor which is characterized by efficient use of the machine volume, and thus a high ratio of the power density. The analytical circuit calculations have been overwritten and the results of three-dimensional magnetostatic field calculations as well as the result for motor work have been presented. Furthermore, the influence of the electromagnetic circuit geometry on the selected motor parameters has been studied, e.g. influence of the shape of permanent magnets on the jogging torque have been investigated.

The paper presents a sensorless control of permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) in a variable-speed wind energy conversion system. The system of wind turbine consists of PMSG and back-to-back power converter. The back-to-back converter system is composed of machine side converter (MSC) and grid side converter (GSC). In the control of MSC and GSC the methods of vector control have been applied. For operation of MSC the method of Rotor Field Oriented Control (RFOC) with MPPT algorithm has been used. For estimation of angular rotor position and angular speed the flux linkage estimator with synchronous frame phase locked loop (SF-PLL) has been used. In the control of GSC the method of Voltage Oriented Control (VOC) has been considered. Simulation studies have been carried out in order to evaluate the system of sensorless strategy. The results of simulation studies demonstrate the high efficiency and high accuracy of the sensorless control system considered.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki symulacyjne adaptacyjnego regulatora prędkości z zastosowaniem sztucznej sieci neuronowej dla napędu z silnikiem synchronicznym o magnesach trwałych. Omówiona została struktura sztucznej sieci neuronowej oraz metoda uczenia regulatora prędkości w czasie rzeczywistym. Model układu został opracowany w języku Matlab. Parametry regulatora są optymalizowane on-line według algorytmu RPROP. Przedstawione wyniki badań symulacyjnych ilustrują poprawne działanie adaptacyjnej regulacji prędkości na zmianę parametrów układu napędowego, takich jak moment bezwładności.
This paper presents the results of simulation of adaptive speed controller using an artificial neural network for permanent magnet synchronous motor drive. Discusses the structure of the artificial neural network and the method of learning the speed controller in real time. Model system has been developed in Matlab. The controller parameters are optimized on-line by RPROP algorithm. The simulation results illustrate the proper operation of the adaptive speed control to change the parameters of the drive system, such as the moment of inertia.

Opis:
The permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) driven by an inverter is widely used in the industrial field, but the inverter has a significant impact on the operational stability of the PMSM. The torque ripple of the PMSM is directly affected by the coupling of multiple harmonic voltages in the motor windings. In order to analyze its influence, a water-cooled PMSM with 20 kW 2000 r/min is taken as an example to establish the finite element model of the prototype, and the correctness of the model is verified by experiments. Firstly, based on the finite element method, the electromagnetic field of the PMSM is numerically solved in different operating states, and the performance parameters of the PMSM are obtained. Based on these parameters, the influence of the harmonic voltage amplitude on the torque ripple is studied, and the influence law is obtained. Secondly, combined with the decoupling analysis method, the influence of harmonic voltage coupling on the torque ripple is compared and analyzed, and the variation law of harmonic voltage coupling on the torque ripple is obtained. In addition, the influence of different harmonic voltage coupling on the average torque of the PMSM is studied, and the influence degree of different harmonic voltage amplitude on the torque fluctuation is determined. The conclusion of this paper provides reliable theoretical guidance for improving motor performance.
