A field experiment was carried out during 2017–2018 in the Horticulture Research Station farm in El Kanater El Khayreia, El Kalubeia Governorate, Egypt, to find out the response of foliar application of melatonin, GA3 and NAA on vegetative and fruit attributes of ‘Canino’ apricot. Different plant growth regulators influenced all variable parameters related to vegetative growth and fruit. Results revealed that between all growth regulators, the foliar application of melatonin following by GA3 there was the highest vegetative growth as compared to other treatments, while GA3 gave the highest yield following by melatonin as compared to other treatments. Treatment with NAA improved vegetative growth, yield and fruit quality to a lesser extent as compared to the control.

Bulk heterojunction solar cells of sphalerite and wurtzite ZnS incorporated P3HT were fabricated and their Mott-Schottky analysis was performed to find the conduction mechanism of the devices. The analysis shows the formation of a Schottky junction and band unpinning at the P3HT:ZnS-Al contact and it confirms the hole conductivity in the active material.

Thetische Satze inkorporieren zum Unterschied von kategorischen Satzen alle Argumente in VP, sehen also kein Vorfeld fur anaphorisch‑thematische DPs und insbesondere Subjekte uber der ersten Verbklammer (Comp) vor. Es wird den Vorstellungen von Kuroda nachgegangen, der meint, dass Thetik und Kategorik im Japanischen direkt und unmissverstandlich durch die Kasussuffixe ‑ga bzw. ‑wa angezeigt werden. Nach solchen Vorstellungen zeigt das Deutsche, das ja diskursgebundene Satze nicht direkt morphologisch von diskursungebundenen Satzen unterscheidet, keine direkten Entsprechungen zur ga‑wa‑Syntax und entsprechend nicht zur Thetik‑Kategorialitatsunterscheidung. Gehen wir aber davon aus, dass reine VP‑Satze im Deutschen ein Verstandnis von Konstruktionsvalenz abbilden, d.h. wenn sich von Thetikvalenz (Nullvalenz bei voller Satzsyntax) gegen kanonische Kategorikvalenz sprechen lasst, dann geraten andere Satzbegriffe in seinen Bannkreis einer solchen Konstruktionsvalenz. Diesen Konstruktionstypen geht der folgende Artikel nach.
Unlike categoriacal sentences, thetic sentences incorporate all arguments in VP. As a consequence, thetics have no anaphoric‑topicalized DPs and in particular canonical subjects to the left of the first verbal bracket (Comp). We pursue ideas developed by Kuroda, who believes that thetics and categoricals occur directly and unambiguously in Japanese marked by the case suffixes ‑ga and ‑wa. According to these ideas, German cannot equivalently, i.e. directly mark discourse bound sentences as different from discourse unbound sentences. Thetics and categoricals are totally alike in German with respect to their discursive status. However, given that VP‑incorporated arguments map zero valence and nevertheless are fully satisfied constructions, we can speak of construction valence. We discuss sentence types that comply with VP‑internal arguments and without a deep structure of discursive status.

The Maastrichtian deposits in Egypt and generally in Africa contain very few records of chelonioids. This scarcity hinders understanding the evolution and extinction of African chelonioids during this age. The Dakhla Basin in Egypt presents excellent Maastrichtian outcrops that consist of highly fossiliferous, calcareous siltstone and sandstone layers rich in ammonites, bivalves (Exogyra overwagi, Pycnodonta vesicularis, pectinids), gastropods, echinoids, corals, fossilized fruits of mangrove plants (Nypa) and vertebrate remains. The well-preserved humerus of giant turtle and other vertebrate remains have been discovered in the early late Maastrichtian Ammonite Hill Member of the Dakhla Formation in the Abu Minqar area, Southern Western Desert, Egypt. The Ammonite Hill Member was deposited in very shallow coastal, inner neritic to littoral environments. The well-preserved giant humerus represents the first record of gigantic Mesozoic chelonioids in Africa and the second record of chelonioids in the Maastrichtian deposits in Egypt. The present specimen contributes to fill the missing gaps in the history of Egyptian turtles from the Cretaceous through the Cenozoic.

Opis:
Oils available in mango, tangerine and African star seeds were extracted and characterized to determine their fuel worthiness for biofuel production. Furthermore, the fuel properties of the three oils were within the range observed for some common oil seeds like rapeseed, soybean and sunflower, which are widely sourced for the production of biodiesel on an industrial scale. The low iodine values of the oil extend their applications as non-drying oil for lubrication purposes, however, the fuel properties exhibited by the oils enlist them as potential oil seeds for the production of biofuel and further research on the improvement of their properties will make them suitable biofuel of high economic values.

Pistillate flower abortion (PFA) in walnuts is defined as the drop of female flowers with or without pedicles within 10–15 days after flowering. This situation is commonly observed in some walnut cultivars causes dramatic yield losses. ‘Şebin’ is a popular walnut cultivar among farmers in Turkey due to the quality of its fruit, yield and ease of marketability. However, in some orchards, established with this cultivar, has a fruitlessness problem. In the present study, the effects of Aminoethoxyvinylglycine (AVG, the commercial brand name is ReTain) (0, 62.5 and 125 ppm doses) and AVG plus GA3 (45, 135 and 270 ppm doses) treatments to prevent abortion in cv. ‘Şebin’ were investigated. The experiments were conducted in two different ecologies. The treatments were carried out just before the receptivity period of female flowers of cv. ‘Şebin’. The results showed that, the female flower abortion ratio of ‘Şebin’ walnut cultivar were 87.78% in Tokat ecology and 77.78% in Niksar ecology. The fruit set ratio by 125 ppm AVG treatment was determined to be 60.89% for Niksar and 57.56% for Tokat ecological conditions. The highest fruit set was obtained from 125 ppm AVG combined 270 ppm GA3 treatment and this ratio was determined to be 93.89% for Niksar ecological conditions whereas it was determined to be 83.33% for Tokat ecological conditions. As a result, it was found that AVG alone or in combination with GA3 is effective treatments in reducing female flower abortion for ‘Şebin’ walnut cultivar.
Opadanie kwiatów żeńskich u orzechów określa się jako spadanie żeńskich kwiatów z szypułkami lub bez, w ciągu 10–15 dni po kwitnieniu. Zjawisko to, powszechnie obserwowane u pewnych odmian orzecha, powoduje znaczne straty w plonie. ‘Şebin’ jest popularną odmianą orzecha wśród farmerów w Turcji ze względu na jej owoce, plon oraz łatwość sprzedaży. Jednak niektóre sady założone z tą odmianą mają problem braku owoców. Niniejsze badanie określa wpływ zabiegów aminoetoksywinyloglicyną (AVG, nazwa handlowa ReTain) (w dawkach 0, 62,5 i 125 ppm) oraz AVG plus GA3 (dawki 45, 135 oraz 270 ppm) stosowanych, aby zapobiec opadaniu. Doświadczenia przeprowadzono w dwóch różnych lokalizacjach. Zabiegi przeprowadzono tuż przed okresem receptywności żeńskich kwiatów odmiany ‘Şebin’. Wyniki pokazały, że wskaźnik opadania kwiatów odmiany ‘Şebin’ wynosił 87,78% w uprawie w Tokat oraz 77,78% w uprawie w Niksar. Współczynnik zawiązanych kwiatów pod wpływem zabiegu 125 ppm AVG określono jako 60,89% dla Niksar oraz 57,56% dla ekologicznych warunków Tokat. Najwięcej zawiązanych kwiatów osiągnięto przy zabiegu 125 ppm AVG w połączeniu z 270 ppm GA3: 93,89% dla warunków ekologicznych Niksar oraz 83,33% dla warunków ekologicznych Tokat. W rezultacie stwierdzono, że sam AVG lub w kombinacji z GA3 jest efektywnych zabiegiem ograniczającym spadanie kwiatów dla odmiany orzecha ‘Şebin’.

Chitosan was chemically modified by diethylenetetraaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) in different degrees of modification (DM = 6.1, 10.3, 15.7 and 20.9%). DTPA-chitosans were radiolabeled with gallium-66 radionuclide. The effect of several factors on labeling yield such as degree of modification, acidity and concentration of DTPA-chitosan solution, contact time and radioactivity was investigated. Radiolabeled DTPA chitosans were intratumorally injected to fibrosarcoma bearing mice and the leakage of radioactivity from the injection site was evaluated. In comparison with chitosan, all DTPA chitosans showed better efficiency in preventing the leakage of radioactivity from tumor lesion and DTPA-chitosan (DM = 10.3%) was the best which led to remaining 97% of injected dose in the injection site after 54 h of injection. The highest leaked radioactivity from the injection site was in the lungs, liver, spleen and the kidneys. Our results indicated that the DTPA modified chitosan can be an effective carrier for therapeutic radionuclides for tumor treatment by the intratumoral injection technique.

The goal of this paper is to present experimental results of the switching effect and analyze qualitatively the influence of various factors, such as temperature, light illumination and sample thickness on switching behavior of the high quality ternary chalcogenide semiconductor $InGaSe_2$. Current-controlled negative resistance of $InGaSe_2$ single crystals has been observed for the first time. It has been found that indium gallium diselenide single crystals exhibit bistable or memory switching. The switching process takes place with both polarities on the crystal and has symmetric shapes. Current-voltage characteristics of $Ag-InGaSe_2-Ag$ structures exhibit two distinct regions, high resistance OFF state and low-resistance ON state having negative differential resistance. $InGaSe_2$ is a ternary semiconductor exhibiting S-type I-V characteristics. The specimen under test showed threshold switching with critical field of the switching being $10^3$ V/cm at room temperature.

Opis:
A routine production method of no-carrier-added 64Cu was performed. A copper target support is electroplated by gold then an optimized thickness of enriched 68Zn layer is deposited. The 68Zn target was bombarded with a 23.5 MeV and 250 miA proton beam, generating the main nuclear reactions 68Zn(p,2n)67Ga and 68Zn(p,alfa n)64Cu. A semi-automated separation method using a chromatographic column system was developed for 64CuCl2 production. A 600 mCi batch of 64Cu is produced at the end of separation and purification chemistry. The radionuclidic purity of 64Cu was less than 98% as required by the United States and European Pharmacopoeias. Radiochemical purity and activity concentration is suitable for labeling different ligands to produce diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.

Controlling the contact force between the pantograph and the catenary has come to be a requirement for improving the performances and affectivity of high-speed train systems Indeed, these performances can also significantly be decreased due to the fact of the catenary equal stiffness variation. In addition, the contact force can also additionally differ and ought to end up null, which may additionally purpose the loss of contact. Then, in this paper, we current an active manipulate of the minimize order model of pantograph-catenary system. The proposed manipulate approach implements an optimization technique, like particle swarm (PSO), the usage of a frequent approximation of the catenary equal stiffness. All the synthesis steps of the manipulate law are given and a formal evaluation of the closed loop stability indicates an asymptotic monitoring of a nominal steady contact force. Then, the usage of Genetic Algorithm with Proportional-Integral-derivative (G.A-PID) as proposed controller appeared optimum response where, the contacts force consequences to be virtually equal to its steady reference. Finally it seems the advantageous of suggestion approach in contrast with classical manipulate strategies like, Internal mode control(IMC) method, linear quadratic regulator (LQR). The outcomes via the use of MATLAB simulation, suggests (G.A-PID) offers better transient specifications in contrast with classical manipulate.

In this work we studied the influence of an external electric voltage on spatial dimensions of CdZnTe mixed crystals. In order to get an absolute magnitude of the sample thickness and to gain insight to the changes of lateral dimension, in quasi-bulk 3 μm thick CdZnTe layers grown by molecular beam epitaxy square craters were formed by ion sputtering in a secondary ion mass spectrometer. The vertical and lateral dimensions of the craters were studied by the atomic force microscopy. The atomic force microscopy measurement revealed that the thickness of the CdZnTe layer increases in a result of applying a single voltage pulse to the sample surface and decreases reversibly after applying reversely biased voltage. The voltage triggering was high enough to switch the conductivity state of the sample i.e., the effect of thickness change is accompanied by the effect of conductivity switching. The thickness change is significant, reaching several percents of the entire layer thickness.

In this study, a back propagation feed forward neural network, with two hidden layers (10:10:10:4), was applied to predict Cu grade and recovery in industrial flotation plant based on pH, chemical reagents dosage, size percentage of feed passing 75 μm, moisture content in feed, solid ratio, and grade of copper, molybdenum, and iron in feed. Modeling is performed basing on 92 data sets under different operating conditions. A back propagation training was carried out with initial weights randomly mode that may lead to trapping artificial neural network (ANN) into the local minima and converging slowly. So, the genetic algorithm (GA) is combined with ANN for improving the performance of the ANN by optimizing the initial weights of ANN. The results reveal that the GA-ANN model outperforms ANN model for predicting of the metallurgical performance. The hybrid GA-ANN based prediction method, as used in this paper, can be further employed as a reliable and accurate method, in the metallurgical performance prediction.

Two parameters, regularization parameter c, which determines the trade off cost between minimizing the training error and minimizing the complexity of the model and parameter sigma (σ) of the kernel function which defines the non-linear mapping from the input space to some high-dimensional feature space, which constructs a non-linear decision hyper surface in an input space, must be carefully predetermined in establishing an efficient support vector machine (SVM) model. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a genetic-based SVM (GASVM) model that can automatically determine the optimal parameters, c and sigma, of SVM with the highest predictive accuracy and generalization ability simultaneously. The GASVM scheme is applied on observed monitored data of a pressurized water reactor nuclear power plant (PWRNPP) to classify its associated faults. Compared to the standard SVM model, simulation of GASVM indicates its superiority when applied on the dataset with unbalanced classes. GASVM scheme can gain higher classification with accurate and faster learning speed.

Opis:
We designed and investigated four-arm nanostructures, composed of two perpendicularly crossed stripes, fabricated from ferromagnetic (Ga,Mn)As layer by means of electron-beam lithography patterning and chemical etching. The nanostructures exhibit a bistable resistance behavior resulting from two configurations of magnetic domain walls in the central part of the structures. We demonstrate a possibility of switching between two stable resistance states in zero magnetic field by applying a pulse of either weak magnetic field or electric current through the structure.
