The article presents excerpts from Polish-language court records made from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century in Upper Silesia. Emerging from these books is an image of life in small communities as seen through the lens of financial transactions, inheritance processes, financial claims within families, cases of disorderly behaviourand violations of social order. The quoted fragments show how the society and the officials representing it managed establishing legal rules for the community and how legal texts were constructed. Although they reflect the schematic manner typical of official regulations, many of the phrases they include allow us to recreate the method used for the construction of the text or even their author’s thought process (writing it or commissioning its writing to a qualified official). These texts provide an opportunity to reconstruct the system of values that served as a basis for the functioning of a given community and the internal hierarchy that guaranteed social order.

Zjawiska agresji i przemocy, niezmiennie towarzyszące naszej aktywności komunikacyjnej, przybrały współcześnie jakościowo nową postać – a to za sprawą nowego kształtu naszego zapośredniczonego medialnie świata: za sprawą jego megamedialnego charakteru. Narzędzia teoretyczne transcendentalnej pragmatyki, jako koncepcji fundującej spójny projekt filozofii komunikacji, pozwalają na zdiagnozowanie tych zjawisk jako fundamentalnego zagrożenia dla warunków egzystencji wspólnoty komunikacyjnej. Diagnoza ta – we współbrzmieniu z imperatywami transcendentalno-pragmatycznej etyki współodpowiedzialności – obliguje do bezwzględnego rygoryzmu komunikacyjnego. Nakłada „ekologiczną” wręcz powinność ochrony okaleczanej wspólnoty komunikacyjnej.
Aggression and violence, which invariably accompany our communication activities, have now assumed a qualitatively new character. This is due to the new shape of our media-mediated world, specifically to its megamedial character. The theoretical tools of transcendental pragmatics, the founding framework of a coherent philosophy-of-communication project, help recognise these phenomena as a fundamental. threat to the very existence of the communication community. Consonant with the imperatives of the transcendental-pragmatic ethics of co-responsibility, this realisation obliges us to the exercise of an absolute communicative rigour. It even generates an “ecological” obligation to protect the mutilated communication community.

Decyzje o wyborze metody komunikacji oraz placówki kształcenia dla dziecka z uszkodzeniem słuchu podejmują rodzice wraz ze specjalistami na podstawie analizy funkcjonalnej oceny jego percepcji słuchowej i umiejętności komunikacyjnych. Niniejszy artykuł opisuje możliwości organizacji wsparcia z zastosowaniem Metody Fonogestów dla uczniów z poważnymi uszkodzeniami słuchu i ograniczonymi korzyściami z protez słuchowych w systemie edukacji integracyjnej i włączającej. Podstawowym warunkiem jest stworzenie wspólnoty komunikacyjnej, a więc przygotowanie do komunikowania się z zastosowaniem fonogestów dziecka z uszkodzonym słuchem, jego rodziców i rodziny, nauczycieli i rówieśników oraz specjalistów. Nakład pracy w trakcie nauki jest duży, ale procentuje korzyściami dla wszystkich użytkowników metody na różnym etapie edukacji: w przedszkolu, szkole, a nawet na studiach. Oprócz oczywistych korzyści dla samego ucznia niesłyszącego, w artykule wskazuje się na zyski, które czerpią słyszący, pełnosprawni rówieśnicy, a także dzieci z innymi specjalnymi potrzebami rozwojowymi i edukacyjnymi. Autorka pracy rozpoczęła szczegółowe badania w tym zakresie, stąd artykuł jest zapowiedzią kontynuacji rozważań po zakończeniu badań.
Decisions about the choice of communication method and educational facility for a child with hearingimpairment are made by parents and specialists based on a functional analysis of the child’s auditory perceptionand communication skills. This article describes the possibilities of organizing support using the Cued Speech Method (Metoda Fonogestów) for students with severe hearing impairment and limited benefits from hearing aids in an integrated and inclusive education system. The basic condition is the creation of a communication community ,i.e. preparation for communicating using cued speech of a hearing-impaired child, his or her parents and family, teachers, peers, and specialists. The workload during learning is large, but it pays off with benefits for all users of the method at various stages of education: in kindergarten, school, and even at university. In addition to the obvious benefits for the deaf student himself, the article points to the benefits for hearing, non-disabled peers, as well as children with other special developmental and educational needs. The author of the considerations began detailed research in this area, hence the article is an announcement of the continuation of considerations after theresearch is completed.

The subject of the article is the ways of creating a virtual communicative community that is shaped around the criminological discourse, realized in the form of a podcast – a virtual genre of expression. The material basis are sound recordings under the common title “Piąte: nie zabijaj” (“The Fifth Commandment: You Shall Not Kill”), published on Justyna Mazur’s online channel, available on the YouTube platform. Addictionally, some comments of Internet users published under each analyzed recording were taken into account. The aim of the study is to show that the authors and recipients of audiovisual materials available on the Internet create a communication community specific to the virtual space, based on the similarity of interests, exchange of information and observations, on the closeness of moral and social attitudes towards crimes, their perpetrators and victims. The article presents the position that Justyna Mazur – the author of the analyzed material – not only makes her recordings available for entertainment or cognitive purposes, but also cares for the constitution of a permanent recipient group that interacts with the material and other participants of virtual communication. It has been shown that the author consciously uses various communication strategies: referring to the shared knowledge of the sender and the recipient, showing concern for listeners, sharing own experiences and observations, or formulating various requests in order to win the attention of recipients and encourage them to actively comment on recordings or interact with the author or other Internet users. The communicative activity in question also fosters the development of criminological discourse by informing a large group of recipients about the events that have occurred, exchanging information and accumulating knowledge on a specific topic. An important aspect that attracts attention when reading the analyzed materials is the linguistic setting of content relating to such sensitive topic as crime. The author, who aptly uses language as a tool can, thanks to her authority, sensitize Internet users to the issue of ethics and aesthetics of expression.

Postęp technologiczny, rozwój nowych narzędzi usprawniających wymianę informacji, w tym sposób komunikowania się z innymi, wymusił przemianę tradycyjnej formy komunikacji w formę e-komunikacji. Czas spędzony podczas tradycyjnej rozmowy wymagał przerwania wykonywania innych czynności i wymuszał na osobach fizyczną obecność. Obecnie również mamy możliwość wizualizacji danej osoby podczas e-rozmowy, jednak czas i miejsce nie ograniczają nas praktycz-nie w żaden sposób. Dostęp do internetu jest na tyle powszechny, że z każdego miejsca na świecie możemy się ze sobą komunikować, widząc się nawzajem, używając do tego niezbędnych aplikacji zainstalowanych na smartfonach, np. SnapChat, Facebook, Instagram itp. W artykule dokonano analizy metod komunikowania się ze sobą na przestrzeni lat. Podjęta problematyka wydaje się być ciągle aktualna ze względu na coraz nowsze metody porozumiewania się w społeczeństwach opartych na technologiach informacyjnych. Czy tak jest rzeczywiście?
Technological progress, the development of new tools facilitating the exchange of information, including the way of communicating with others, forced the transformation of the traditional form of communication into the form of e-communication. The time spent in a traditional conversation required the interruption of other activities and forced the individuals to be present. Currently, we also have the possibility to visualize a given person during an e-communication, but time and place do not limit us in anyway. Internet access is so common that from anywhere in the world we can communicate with each other seeing each other, using the necessary applications installed on smartphones, e.g. SnapChat, Facebook, Instagram etc. The article analyzes the methods of communicating with each other over the years. The issues discussed seem to be still relevant, due to the newer and newer methods of communication in information technology-based societies. Is this the case?

Despite the attempts of experts in public relations it is not possible to create artificially a community of hearts and minds if common values joining the persons are missing. This is so because a person is a relational being who reacts to the messages that are sent to him or her with all his or her being, and expects others to enter the relation of love to which it is programmed by the act of creation in God's own image, the image of God who is a Trinity of Persons.

Linguistic and textual changes in copied guild documents as a manifestation of the linguistic awareness of writers based on the ordinance of 1661 This article is devoted to a specific textual phenomenon present in Polish law and legal documents, namely the linguistic changes resulting from the creation of copies. This phenomenon is presented with the example of the guild ordinance of 1661, compiled for the guild of Krakow brewers. The aim of the presented study is also to supplement the knowledge on the use of language in a small, specialized communicative community. The two texts dated 1661, which became the basis for a comparative analysis, are most likely copies of an earlier document from the 18th century. Their copyists fairly faithfully reproduced the content, which they intentionally modified when they noticed the need to adapt the records to the life of the community. Random and misleading changes occurred, but they were sporadic. The copyist made corrections by condensing the content and omitting unnecessary words. The existing grammatical and graphic discrepancies between the texts, as well as the different approach to the form of the Latin text, usually did not change the meaning of the message. Sometimes contradictory tendencies emerged: to shorten the content and condense information, to preserve the signals of the old age of the text, to modernize the linguistic form, and to adjust it to the changed realities. All of them are a manifestation of the writers’ linguistic, stylistic and functional awareness. It can be concluded that the copying strategy, i.e. duplication of the model text of the guild ordinance genre, included permission to make textual, linguistic and stylistic modifications within a strictly defined scope.

W artykule podjęto próbę porównania obu dyscyplin naukowych i ich wzajemnych relacji.
Two separate scientific disciplines, the science of social communication and media, and pedagogy with the didactic sub-discipline, have a lot in common. For both disciplines, communication and its means are key issue for building relationships and communicating information. They differ, in part, of the audience, the content of the messages, and the area of research interests, but the essence remains the same. This article attempts to compare both scientific disciplines and their mutual relations.

Celem artykułu jest wskazanie wybranych cech komunikatów wysyłanych w donacjach internetowych w czasie transmisji emitowanych na żywo w serwisie YouTube. Materiał badawczy stanowiło 10 livestreamów o tematyce growej, emitowanych w roku 2020 przez jednego streamera. Wykorzystano metodę jakościowej analizy treści. Autorki przeanalizowały ponad 800 wiadomości, wskazując skalę występowania takich form komunikacyjnych, jak: powitanie, pożegnanie, pozdrowienie czy slogan społeczności. Analiza objęła również reakcje ze strony streamera.
The aim of the article is to indicate selected features of messages sent in online donations during live broadcasts on YouTube. The research material consisted of 10 gaming livestreams broadcasted in 2020 by one streamer. The authors analyzed over 800 messages using the method of qualitative content analysis, indicating the scale of the occurrence of communication forms such as salute, farewell, greeting or community’s catchword. In addition, the analysis also included streamer’s reactions.

Skupiono się przede wszystkim na badaniu zachowania widzów oraz odbiorze działalności kanału przez skupioną wokół niego społeczność. Celem badania jest sprawdzenie, jak na działania i formaty wideo przygotowywane przez wybrany kanał YouTube reaguje publiczność internetowa, a także próba określenia wartościowych zachowań twórców, budujących wokół siebie duże grupy odbiorców.
The article presents an analysis of personal research on communication of Grupa Filmowa Darwin YouTube channel, defined in the Internet as the most professional profile on Polish YouTube. The author analyses patterns of viewers behaviour and their reactions to uploaded on channel content. The aim of the study is to evaluate how the Internet audience reacts to the actions and video formats prepared by the chosen YouTube channel and make an attempt to determine valuable features of authors who gathers large communities of recipients.

Artykuł wyrasta z zainteresowania wypracowaniem skutecznych technik i metod wspierania osób uczących się obcych języków i kultur. Omówione w tekście strategie komunikacyjno-edukacyjne są integralną częścią projektu „Język polski ponad granicami”, którego realizacja przypadła na czas panującej pandemii. Zaistniałe utrudnienia narzuciły konieczność wypracowania alternatywnych metod i form kształcenia, między innymi z zastosowaniem nowoczesnych mediów i technologii, dzięki którym środowisko polonijne w Brazylii może poznawać i na nawo odkrywać język polski i polską kulturę. Założenia omawianego projektu egzemplifikują walory łączenia w procesie glottodydaktycznym kultury i języka dziedziczonego (a dla niektórych uczących się drugiego i/lub obcego) jako wartości sprzyjających komunikacji, integracji, samopoznaniu, tworzeniu poczucia wspólnoty oraz innym aktywnościom związanym z uczeniem się języka w działaniu, w różnych przestrzeniach, kontekstach, sytuacjach i interakcjach (mimo pandemii). W badaniach zastosowano podejście action research z jego czterema fazami: planowaniem, działaniem, obserwacjami i refleksjami. Zebrany materiał uprawnia do sformułowania wniosku, iż podejście interkulturowe w dydaktyce języków obcych i w pokrewnych jej formach kształcenia jest obecnie jedną z najtrafniejszych dróg nauczania języka polskiego jako obcego. Przedstawione rozważania wpisują się w nurt badań interdyscyplinarnych nad językiem polskim w świecie, wielojęzycznością i glottodydaktyką polonistyczną.
The article stems from interest in the development of effective techniques and methods to support learners of foreign languages and cultures. The communication and educational strategies discussed in the text are an integral part of the project “Język polski ponad granicami” [“Polish language beyond borders”], implemented during the current pandemic. The difficulties that emerged made it necessary to develop alternative methods and forms of education, including ones using modern media and technologies, allowing the Polish diaspora community in Brazil to learn and rediscover the Polish language and culture. The assumptions underlying the project exemplify the value of combining, in the glottodidactic process,the culture and language inherited (for some learners, a second and/or a foreign language), as qualities that foster communication, integration, self-discovery, the creation of a sense of community and other activities related to language learning in action, in diverse spaces, contexts, situations and interactions (despite the pandemic). The study used the action research approach with its four phases: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The material collected allows us to conclude that an intercultural approach in foreign language teaching and in related forms of education is currently one of the most appropriate ways of teaching Polish as a foreign language. The presented considerations fit within the line of interdisciplinary research on the Polish language in the world, multilingualism, and Polish glottodidactics.

Opis:
Rozwój lokalnych społeczności zależy od zachodzących w nich zmian. Każda zmiana, zanim zostanie wprowadzona w lokalną strukturę społeczną, powinna wcześniej zostać odpowiednio zaprojektowana i przygotowana. Bardzo często zmiany w społecznościach lokalnych inicjowane są przez organizacje społeczne będące aktywnymi uczestnikami życia społecznego na danym terenie. Jednak, aby właściwa zmiana mogła zaistnieć, potrzebny jest dostęp do informacji, która umożliwia przygotowanie tej zmiany, będącej zawsze rezultatem odpowiedniej inspiracji i wiedzy. Nowoczesne technologie przyspieszyły zmiany. Dzięki internetowi dostęp do informacji i wiedzy stał się niezwykle łatwy, pozwalając również społecznościom lokalnym dzielić się swoimi pomysłami i rozwiązaniami z ludźmi z różnych kontynentów i kultur. Narzędzia komunikacyjne przyspieszyły globalne procesy dyfuzji kulturowej na skalę wcześniej nieznaną w historii świata, wpływając na dynamikę zmian również w społecznościach lokalnych, czyniąc je zarazem aktywnymi podmiotami nie tylko w skali lokalnej, lecz również w skali globalnej. Celem artykułu jest próba określenia roli i znaczenia narzędzi i modeli komunikacji w społecznościach lokalnych mających wpływ na proces zmian. Do realizacji celu zastosowano metodologię badań jakościowych wykorzystując jako metodę badawczą case study Stowarzyszenia Lipnik z Bielska-Białej, organizacji pozarządowej, która posiada 25-letnie doświadczenie w pracy na rzecz lokalnej społeczności. Analizie poddano aktywność Stowarzyszenia w zakresie prowadzonych projektów oraz metod i narzędzi komunikacji z jakich korzystano w wieloletniej działalności tej organizacji.
The development of local communities depends on the changes taking place within them. Each change, before it is introduced into the local social structure, should be properly designed and prepared in advance. Very often, changes in local communities are initiated by organizations that are active participants in societal life in certain area. However, for a proper change to take place, it is necessary to have access to information that enables the preparation of this change, which is always the result of appropriate inspiration and knowledge. Modern technologies have accelerated the changes. Additionally, communication tools accelerated global processes of cultural diffusion on a scale previously unknown in world history, influencing the dynamics of changes also in local communities, making them active entities not only on a local scale, but also on a global scale. The aim of the article is an attempt to define the role and importance of communication tools and models in local communities that influence the process of change. To achieve the goal, the methodology of qualitative research was used, using as a research method the case study of the Lipnik Association from Bielsko-Biała, a non-governmental organization with 25 years of experience in working for the local community. The Association's activity in the field of ongoing projects as well as communication methods and tools used in the long-term operation of this organization was analyzed.
