In March 1994 in Lyon, France, was founded the International Association of Spiritual Psychiatry (IASP). Spiritual psychiatry is a medicine of the human psyche that fully integrates the spiritual quest of each individual who faces psychical problems, using a therapeutic approach. Each human being seeks happiness. Initially, they think they can find it in the external world (consumerism, work, power, relationships), then once they discover that they still have not found what their looking for, they revert back to the internal realm in order to understand that this sought-for happiness is already present. In the past, psychology and psychiatry had been separated from spirituality leaving the patient to choose from contradictory means. The association was established as a reaction to excessive mechanization and materialism of present day psychiatry that seems to have forgotten the essential. Currently, the IASP is made up of approximately 150 members from five continents. They are for the most part psychiatrists, psychotherapists, psychologists and specialists in alternative medicine. The number of participants and their geographic diversity is rapidly increasing. This expansion is due to the fact that a general need exists for the public, and therapists themselves, to introduce a psycho-spiritual medicine of merit. The IASP is based principally on Buddhist and Vedantic traditions. The purpose of this paper is to supplement spiritual psychiatry with the Christian faith.

The phenomenon of migration belongs to. principal problems of the contemporary international life. To its importance testifies the fact that only in the 1946— 1954 years in migration was involve about 8 millions persons. The migration movement grows steadily and is followed by many social problems, both within the local and migration populations. In such a situation the Church must take an appropriate stand towards it and — depending on actual exigencies — elaborate the adequate methods of action in this domain. To some extent this need is met by the decisions of the Apostolic See: the Apostolic Constitution „Exsul familia” (1952) the instruction „De pastoralis migratorum cura” (1969), and by decisions of Vatican' Council II. The fact of differentiating populations by migration makes it susceptible to studies from different points of view and in the light of varoius sciences. This work in an attempt to a migration movement description basing on the Catholic social theology principles, elaborated by Vatican Council II: and applied in the .Apostolic See’s instruction ,,De pastoralis migratorum cura”. The theological basis for reflections on religious importance of the migration movement constitutes the Council Fathers teaching On the pilgriming Church, on collegial Church administration ecumenism and religious tolerance. According to the doctrine all Christians are pilgriming to the heavenly Father and on the Earth they are only guests. The ’biblical picture of the earthly pilgrimage is realized in the Christ’s Church, i.e. pilgriming Church. Thus, to be an immigrant is one form of human pilgriming to the heavenly homeland. Such an understanding of Christian life gives to every immigrant’s life a symbol of the Christ wandering about the Earth. In effect the migration assumes an eschatological character. As the whole Church is pilgriming, it is why she from her very beginnings especially cared for the migrants; the migratory movement helped the Church to grow. The migration issue is influenced by the collegial-Church-government principle. The universalistic understanding of Church government collegiality gives a sense of responsibility to all God’s people for the fate of the brothers living in the migration situation. Therefore the apostolic activity among emigrants should belong not only to compencies of local ordinaries or episcopal conferences of migrants’ dwelling countries, because the local authorities often dispel a lack of understanding of national-religious needs of the religious-ethnic minorities. From it results a necessity of collaboration between the hierarchy of the origin-place and the hierarchy of the present migrants’ .abode. The postulate is important although difficult to realize. The third basis of theological reflection on the migratory movements is a new understanding of ecumenism within the Church. It must be inspired by a atmosphere of religious tolerance. The properly conceived ecumenism and tolerance demand the respecting of distinctness of particular population groups; it is then an •organic unity within multiplicity can be created. Populational migrations in a great measure contribute to overcoming the difficulties in our world and thereby bring closer all the nations. The migration movement is one principal factor of mutual understanding within a society. An appropriate planning of the movements can allow to relieve the tension between nations and will much contribute to maintaining world peace. The migratory movement permits to solve several moral and religious problems and can create occasions the new culture-creating values to originate; it is of significant importance also for the missionary work of the Church. The alignment to a nationality must be determined by personal choice and decision of each migrant individual. Cultivation of a national-ethnic distinctness is today possible only with a conscious cooperation of both sides. This demands of mutual knowledge and understanding. Only in a full confidence and mutual friendliness atmosphere the exchange of values is possible. The Christian, living in the migrant situation, being a sing and symbol of Christ- Pilgrim on the Earth becomes a living witness of the Christ’s truth. In various ways the migrant-Christian can give witness to this truth: 1. by apostolate of abiding in unbelieving environment, 2. by apostolate of pronouncing the God’s word, 3. by the apostolate of one’s own deeds, in a word, by living with faith. In the migration situation the faith inherited is generally lost, and demand is of a faith personally experienced and deepened. It is a faith from one’s own choice. In propagating of one’s own group culture one should add to its attractiveness by shoving the culture in connections with all-human culture. Such an approach to cultural life of one’s own ethnic group will simultaneously allow to bring nearer the migrant and host-country populations and will permit the migrants to became full citizens of the new homeland. Thus the Christian migrant will be a catalyzer precipitating the process of unifying the whole mankind in a one Human Family. This work is supplemented by an annex containing considerations about a necessity of conducting the sociological investigations within migratory population, basing on example of the Polonia community in the United States.

Powodzenie w działaniach na współczesnym polu walki zdeterminowane jest wieloma czynnikami. Jednym z nich jest zapewnienie szybkiego, terminowego i nieoczekiwanego dla przeciwnika transportu żołnierzy. Pojazdy opancerzone, przewożące pododdziały w warunkach pola walki, powinny posiadać zdolność dojechania na stanowiska ogniowe, które mogą być położone w terenie, gdzie nie ma dróg utwardzonych a teren jest pofałdowany, górzysty lub podmokły. Zatem przystosowanie do pokonywania przeszkód terenowych przez pojazdy opancerzone powinno wynikać z ich ogólnego układu konstrukcyjnego, proporcji wymiarowych i masowych oraz z zastosowania specyficznych rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych w układach jezdnych i napędowych. Jednym z kryteriów oceny użytkowej kołowego transportera opancerzonego (KTO) są jego właściwości ruchowe, zwłaszcza w terenie. Można jednocześnie formułować różne, często odmienne, szczegółowo ukierunkowane kryteria oceny użytkowej jednego lub w celach porównawczych kilku KTO. W przypadku kryteriów o charakterze ilościowym możliwe jest otrzymanie globalnej ilościowej oceny użytkowej oddzielnie dla każdego KTO, co stwarza obiektywne warunki do porównawczej oceny ich konstrukcji. W referacie przedstawiono propozycję metodyki oceny użytkowej podwozia współczesnego kołowego transportera opancerzonego (KTO), którą oparto na rachunku wskaźników liczbowych. Wykorzystując sformułowane wskaźniki dokonano porównawczej ukierunkowanej i globalnej oceny użytkowej KTO Rosomak, którą odniesiono do innych współczesnych KTO.
A success in present combat field operation is determined by many factors. One of them is assuring of rapid, term and unexpected for the enemy troops transport. Armoured vehicles, transporting troops in combat field, should have an ability to reach gun sites, which may be placed in terrain, where are no hardened ways and terrain is undulating, mountainous or boggy. Armoured vehicles adaptation to terrain obstacles covering should result from their construction system, dimensions and mass' proportions and construction solutions of driving system and running gear. One of the criterion of operational appreciation of armoured personnel carrier (APC) is its mobility property, especially in terrain. Various and specialized in many details usable assessment criteria of one or a few (in comparison) KTO might be simultaneously formulated. In case of quantitative criteria it is possible to receive a global usable quantitative assessment for each KTO individually, what makes objective conditions to comparative assessment of their construction. In the paper there is presented a proposal of method of operational appreciation of modern armoured personnel carrier (APC) chassis based on numeral indexes. Using the defined indexes there was made the operational appreciation of APC Rosomak, which was compared to other modern APC's.

Analiza prognozy prawdopodobieństwa wystąpienia zatarcia łożysk ślizgowych i tocznych podczas określonej ilości uruchomień maszyny stanowi istotny element diagnostyki oraz niezawodności eksploatowanych maszyn. Problem ten możemy rozwiązać wyłącznie na bazie teorii prawdopodobieństwa i statystyki matematycznej z wykorzystaniem danych eksperymentalnych. Na podstawie informacji o materiałach łożyskowych, obciążeniu, sposobie montażu łożyska, błędach konstrukcyjnych, korozji, zanieczyszczeniach łożyska, przegrzaniu węzła tarcia, drganiach łożyska określić można zakres ogólnego prawdopodobieństwa zatarcia przy dużej ilości uruchomień maszyny. Niniejsza pracy opisuje i wyznacza algorytm prognozowania prawdopodobieństwa ilości zatarcia przy różnej ilości uruchomień wału, ponieważ wiedza na ten temat ma duże znaczenie w teorii niezawodności maszyny. Przeprowadzona analiza związana z wyznaczaniem prawdopodobieństwa zatarcia powiązana jest z określaniem podstawowych parametrów teorii prawdopodobieństwa, takich jak średnia probabilistyczna oraz odchylenie standardowe ilości zatarcia łożyska. Narzędziem badawczym w rozpatrywanych problemach jest rozkład normalny Gaussa.
The analysis of the seizing prognosis for slide and rolling bearings during the numbers of starts of a machine constitute the important element of diagnostic and machine operational reliability. This problem can be solved only on the basis of mathematical probability and statistics, simultaneously using experimental data. In this paper, an attempt is made to determine the seizing probability values during the starts and stops of a machine depended on bearing material, bearing load, bearing montage, errors of construction, corrosion, mechanical impurities, bearing superheating, and vibrations. The paper describes and determines the prognosis algorithm for the seizing probability number of a bearing for various starts of engine, because such knowledge has numerous applications in machine operational reliability. The performed analysis of the seizing probability determination is compactly connected with the fundamental parameters of the probability theory, such as expected value (EV), with the standard deviation of seizing. The distribution of the Gaussian density function constitutes the main tool used to resolve this problem in this paper.

Powodzenie w działaniach bojowych na współczesnym polu walki zdeterminowane jest wieloma czynnikami. Jednym z nich jest zapewnienie szybkiego i nieoczekiwanego dla przeciwnika transportu wojsk. Współczesne kołowe transportery opancerzone (KTO) posiadają pozornie podobną mobilność terenową. Stopień przystosowania tych pojazdów do poruszania się w trudnym terenie jest funkcją wielu zmiennych ich układu konstrukcyjnego, w tym, m.in. poprawności doboru zwykle specyficznych rozwiązań w układzie jezdnym, zawieszeniu czy napędowym. Możliwe jest pozyskanie globalnego liczbowego wskaźnika oceny użytkowej KTO, uwzględniającego m.in. ocenę jego mobilności terenowej. Taki wskaźnik jest obiektywną miarą stopnia spełniania przez konstrukcję pojazdu przedmiotowej podgrupy wymagań taktyczno-technicznych. W artykule przedstawiono propozycję metodyki przeprowadzania oceny użytkowej podwozia współczesnego KTO, którą oparto na rachunku zaproponowanych wskaźników liczbowych. Wykorzystując sformułowane wskaźniki, dokonano porównawczej ukierunkowanej i globalnej oceny użytkowej AMV Patria 8 × 8, którą odniesiono do innych współczesnych KTO.
Success during combat on modern battlefield is determined by numerous conditions. One of those conditions is a quick and unexpected (for the red force) transport of troops. Modern APCs (armored personnel carriers) have similar terrain capability. Level of APCs adjustment to movement in hard terrain conditions is the function of numerous indicators of its construction including, e.g., correction of, usually specific, conditions for technical solutions of suspension or engine. It is possible to acquire global numerical indicator of APC utility evaluation, basing on, e.g., evaluation of terrain mobility. Such indicator is the objective way to estimate a level of fulfilling the technical specification of subject subgroup for tactical-technical specification by the APC construction. The article presents a proposal of methodical utility evaluation for modern APC chassis, which is based on account of proposed numerical indicators. Using the set indicators, we have provided comparison of directed and global evaluation of AMV Patria, towards other modern APCs.

The article analyzes the effects of the appreciation and depreciation of the Polish zloty against the euro. The author argues that sensitivity to the impact of exogenous shocks is a characteristic feature of small and medium-sized open economies, which also include Poland. According to Karp, exchange rate fluctuations are disturbances that have a strong impact on foreign trade, the price level and the entire economic system. Due to the complexity of the relationships between economic variables, an appropriate analysis must be conducted on a complete macroeconometric model, the author says. Analysis was conducted on a monthly model of the Polish economy (WM-1) that also contained asymmetric equations based on the threshold-error correction model (TECM). In two simulations, symmetric exogenous shocks – persistent for three months and directly causing the Polish zloty to either appreciate or depreciate – were assumed. These impulses set off the exchange rate multiplier effect and consequently the reaction of the whole economic system. The responses of the variables are asymmetric depending on the direction of the impulse, the author says. The simulation analysis shows stronger reactions when the zloty appreciates than when it depreciates. Although the initial impulse directly affects the “nominal” economy, its impact also influences the real economy by affecting production, investment and employment, the author concludes.
Celem artykułu jest analiza odmienności reakcji gospodarki Polski w zależności od zmian kursu walutowego wywołujących aprecjację lub deprecjację złotego względem euro. Cechą charakterystyczną gospodarek otwartych o małej i średniej wielkości, do których zalicza się również Polska, jest duża wrażliwość na oddziaływanie wielu egzogenicznych szoku. Wahania kursu walutowego są impulsami, które silnie oddziałują na wymianę zagraniczną, poziom cen i funkcjonowanie całego systemu ekonomicznego. Ze względu na złożoność relacji miedzy zmiennymi ekonomicznymi, przeprowadzenie właściwych analiz symulacyjnych możliwe jest jedynie na kompletnym modelu makroekonometrycznym. W tej roli wykorzystany został miesięczny model WM-1, który w swej strukturze zawiera również asymetryczne równania postaci TECM. W dwóch symulacjach przyjęto założenie o utrzymujących się przez trzy miesiące egzogenicznych symetrycznych szokach wpływających bezpośrednio na aprecjację i deprecjację kursu walutowego. Wprowadzone zaburzenia powodują uruchomienie mnożnika kursowego i w konsekwencji reakcję wszystkich zmiennych makroekonomicznych. W zależności od kierunku impulsu reakcja systemu ma charakter asymetryczny, zarówno pod względem siły reakcji, jak i szybkości powrotu do rozwiązania bazowego. Wyniki analiz symulacyjnych wskazują na silniejszą reakcję powodowaną aprecjacją złotego niż deprecjacją. Wprowadzone zaburzenie płynące bezpośrednio ze sfery nominalnej pobudza także zmiany procesów produkcji, inwestycji i zatrudnienia, a więc całej sfery realnej, i utrzymują się przez okres znacznie dłuższy niż okres oddziaływania samego impulsu.

W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia związane z diagnostyką uszkodzeń silnika indukcyjnego dokonywanej za pomocą metody MCSA (ang. Motor Current Signature Analysis). Wiele publikacji na ten temat wskazuje na pojawianie się tzw. częstotliwości poślizgowych wokół pierwszej, piątej i siódmej harmonicznej prądu stojana dla obciążeń powyżej połowy znamionowego [1]. Niedokładność oszacowania poślizgu ogranicza trafne wskazania tych częstotliwości. Wymagana jest więc możliwie wysoka precyzja szacunku wartości poślizgu, czego można dokonać za pomocą częstotliwości żłobkowych. Częstotliwości poślizgowe, pojawiają się w widmie prądu również wokół częstotliwości żłobkowych, co może dać podstawę do identyfikacji uszkodzeń silnika indukcyjnego za pomocą analizy harmonicznych żłobkowych i poślizgowych.
In this paper selected problems of fault detection of an induction motor by the MCSA (Motor Current Signature Analysis) method are considered. Many of published papers point to slip frequencies that appears around the fist, fifth and seventh harmonic in stator current spectrum for more then half of nominal load [1]. Insufficient accuracy of slip estimation may make the task of slip frequencies extraction very difficult. There is a need of as high as possible precision of slip estimation. Analysis of slot frequencies makes it possible. Slip frequencies in current spectrum also appear around slot frequencies. It gives a base for searching fault symptoms of induction motor by the analysis of amplitudes of slip and slot frequencies.

Glosa dotyczy wyroku polskiego Sądu Najwyższego z 10 października 2018 r. w sprawie prawa do sporządzenia transkrypcji brytyjskiego aktu urodzenia wydanego obywatelowi polskiemu z urodzenia, urodzonemu w Wielkiej Brytanii. Kierownik Urzędu Stanu Cywilnego, wojewoda i Wojewódzki Sąd Administracyjny w Krakowie odmówiły sporządzenia takiego zapisu. W ich ocenie brytyjski dokument stwierdzający, że dziecko ma matkę i „rodzica”, który także jest kobietą, naruszałby prawo polskie, zawierał informacje wprowadzające w błąd i byłby sprzeczny z porządkiem publicznym. Sąd Najwyższy odstąpił od swojej wcześniejszej linii orzeczniczej i odrzucił tę argumentację. Powołał się przy tym na Konstytucję Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej i na ratyfikowane przez Polskę umowy międzynarodowe: Konwencję o prawach dziecka, Europejską Konwencję Praw Człowieka i na właściwe wyroki Europejskiego Trybunału Praw Człowieka. Nie odwołał się jednak do prawa UE (nie zbadał też, czy sprawa pozostaje „w zakresie prawa UE”) i odmówił zadania pytania prejudycjalnego. Glosowany wyrok unaocznia więc praktyczne trudności wynikające ze zderzenia doktryny „szerokiego marginesu oceny” z prawami osób, które próbują „przetłumaczyć” decyzje wydane w innych krajach Europejskich do krajowego systemu prawnego. Stanowi on więc interesujący wkład do dyskusji o zakresie suwerennej władzy państwa w kształtowaniu krajowych regulacji dotyczących prawa do poszanowania życia prywatnego i rodzinnego.
The gloss deals with Polish Supreme Administrative Court’s judgment of 10 October 2018 concerning a right to transcribe a British birth certificate (issued to the child holding the Polish citizenship by birth who was born in the United Kingdom) to the Polish civil register. The Polish administration bodies and the Voivodeship Administrative Court in Kraków refused to make the transcript. They claimed that, according to the British document, the child has a mother and “a parent” who is also a woman, hence the transcript would infringe Polish law, provide misleading information, and be against public order. The Supreme Administrative Court changed its previous interpretation by citing the Constitution of the Republic of Poland, as well as international law, which has been ratified by Poland: the Convention of the Rights of the Child, the European Convention of Human Rights and judgments of the European Court of Human Rights. However, the judges did not find the case to be “within the EU law”, and they did not submit a request for a preliminary ruling. This judgment exemplifies the clash between “a wide margin of appreciation” and the right of individuals to “translate” decisions issued in other European states into their national legal systems. Thus, the gloss contributes to the discussions on an extent of a state sovereign power in private and family life matters

The aim of the following work is to analysis the results of survey concerning the structures and conditioning of students’ political attitudes. The factors which create appreciation to two political parties, Palikot’s Movement (presently Your Movement) and Poland Comes First and their leaders, were shown. The assessment of sympathy towards the parties was made in order to nd out if it is not related with the political organizations from which the leaders come (Civic Platform and Law and Justice). The issue of emotions was also analysed since they are important elements of the attitudes, as well as they form them. The studies associated with the political attitudes improve that emotions towards the candidates have an impact on the voting process. Electors often have preconception feelings towards the candidates when they don’t know anything about their platforms. The survey shows, that Janusz Palikot is much more recognizable as the politician than Paweł Kowal. The attitudes towards his party are very emphatic and they are related with the antipathy to Law and Justice and Jarosław Kaczynski and with the sympathy to Donald Tusk, the prime minister. The analysis also suggest that the supporters of Poland Comes First create their views through the traditional socializing agendas like the social background, whereas the supporters of Janusz Palikot’s party form their views on the basis of contact with their partners, at the same time rejecting the traditional socializing institution as the church.

Papież jako głowa Kościoła i głowa Państwa jest zobowiązany do podejmowania odpowiednich form krytyki i przeciwdziałania nieprawidłowemu funkcjonowania instytucji Kościoła i Państwa. Chodzi o to, że zadaniem polityki i państwa jest realizacja dobra wspólnego, a jedną z jego funkcji jest integrowanie społeczeństwa. W obydwu przypadkach konieczne jest istnienie niezakłóconej komunikacji, a tę właśnie zakłóca korupcja. W nauczaniu papieża Franciszka korupcja zaburza komunikację, wywołując kryzys zaufania i podejrzliwość. Lekceważy prawdę, która jest gwarancją przejrzystości i zrozumienia. Korupcja, która rośnie i wciąż się rozwija, jest zaraźliwa i usprawiedliwia samą siebie przez tworzenie własnej doktryny. Korupcja stanowi zaprzeczenie solidarności. Papież Franciszek mówi o kazusie cuchnącego oddechu i miażdżycy serca duchownego. Mówi o grzechu i zepsuciu. Korupcja wywołuje społeczny paraliż, za który płacą najubożsi. Franciszek stwierdza, że nie wystarczy skazywać skorumpowanych, ale trzeba także modlić się o ich nawrócenie.
The Pope, as the head of the Church and the head of the State, is obliged to undertake appropriate forms of criticism and counteract the improper functioning of the institutions of the Church and the State. The point is that the task of politics and the state is to strive for the common good, and one of its functions is to integrate society. In both cases, there must be undisturbed communication, and this is precisely what corruption is disturbing. In the teachings of Pope Francis, a corruption disorders a communication in a way that it creates crisis of trust and arouses suspicion among the people. It ignores the truth which is a guarantee of clarity and understanding. The corruption, that grows and continues to evolve, is transmissible and it justifies itself by creating its own doctrine. Corruption is a rejection of solidarity. Pope Francis says about halitosis and sclerosis of a spiritual heart. He says about a sin and a corruption. Corruption evokes a social paralysis, which unfortunately is paid for by the poorest. Francis claims that it is not enough to sentence corrupted people, but it is important to pray for their conversion.

Opis:
This essay concerns Adam Leszczyński’s book Ludowa historia Polski. Historia wyzysku i oporu. Mitologia panowania [A People’s History of Poland: A Story of Exploitation and Resistance – the Mythology of Ruling] (2020) and presents Leszczyński’s main theses concerning the mechanism of the centuries-long exploitation of the popular classes by the nobility and later elites, the ideological justification of their domination, and the violence that accompanied it. The essay highlights how Leszczyński constructed his narrative, his theoretical and methodological premises, and his clearly declared ideological and ethical attitude. At the same time, however, the essay emphasizes that the book is highly selective in several aspects, as can primarily be seen in its omission of the history of the western and northern parts of Poland and concentration on the social and economic processes unfolding in the territory of the Russian partition. This focus had an impact on Leszczyński’s findings and conclusions, which the author of the essay questions.
