Opis:: The contribution addresses a topic discussed since the 17th century by philosophers, logicians and lexicographers: to what extent does the semantic complexity of certain words convey knowledge of the extralinguistic world? What influence does this knowledge have on the coherence of a text? Conversely, another type of complexity must be taken into account as well, the one starting from things: what linguistic devices are adopted to express this complexity in an efficient way? The relationship between the complexity types and knowledge has been investigated by different strands of research in the humanities and is becoming a focus of multidisciplinary research.

The article aims to show the role of the context and the situation of speaking (communication situation) in the process of updating the meaning of phraseological units (fixed expressions). It has been observed that in communication, disambiguation usually takes place by means of context. On the other hand, it turned out that the context itself can be a source of ambiguity. The results obtained in this short study seem to confirm the claim that the update is essentially a modal process, and the semantic coherence results from the interweaving of language, pragmatic, socio-cultural and cognitive constraints.

On a pu observer que, dans la communication, la désambiguïsation se fait normalement à l’aide du contexte. Mais d’autre part, il s’est avéré que c’est le contexte, lui-même qui peut être source de l’ambiguïté.Les résultats obtenus au terme de cette brève étude semblent confirmer aussi le fait que l’actualisation constitue un processus foncièrement modal, et que la cohérence sémantique relève d’une imbrication de contraintes linguistiques, pragmatiques, socio-culturelles et cognitives.

Opis:: Nés de la liberté chrétienne, la sécularisation et le laïcisme (laïcité pure et dure) se contentent d’aborder les religions par les Sciences humaines: c’est très insuffisant pour les connaître et les comprendre, car c’est rejeter l’étude des doctrines comme étant de «l’essentialisme». En décryptant ici l’islam dans sa vision de Dieu à travers sa cohérence doctrinale (notamment les primordialités si caractéristiques), on découvre la raison du grave déficit originel d’altérité et de liberté qui conduit l’islam à une impasse historique décisive. Il nous faut pousser les musulmans par la force de la vérité (non-violence) à quitter ce visage pesant et dominateur de Dieu avant que la violence ne tente de le submerger et nous avec.
For people born into the climate of Christian liberty, secularisation and secular norms, knowledge of religion obtained in the course of studies concerned with human culture (humanities) is enough. But this is far too little. Gaining a thorough knowledge of any religion requires an intense study of its essence, its doctrine. When we describe Islam – its vision of God, characteristics and inner doctrinal coherence – we realise its lack of openness to non-Muslims, lack of freedom within its internal structures, and historical impasse. We should influence Muslims with the power of truth (non-violence) so that they reject the image of the punishing God, which may transform itself into an image of God of violence directed against Muslims and all of us.
