Opis:
In the paper two filtration algorithms for distributed multisensor system are presented. The first one is derived for a linear dynamical system composed of local subsystems described by local state equations. Local estimates are sent to a central station to be fused and formed an optimal global estimate. The second algorithm is derived for a system observed by local nodes that determine estimates of the whole system using local information and periodically aggregated information from other nodes. Periodically local estimates are sent to the central station to be fused. Owing to this a reduced communication can be achieved.

Opis:
In the paper a state filtration in a decentralized discrete time Linear Quadratic Gaussian problem formulated for a multisensor system is considered. Local optimal control laws depend on global state estimates and are calculated by each node. In a classical centralized information pattern the global state estimators use measurements data from all nodes. In a decentralized system the global state estimates are computed at each node using local state estimates based on local measurements and values of previous controls, from other nodes. In the paper, contrary to this, the controls are not transmitted between nodes. It leads to nonconventional filtration because the controls from other nodes are treated as random variables for each node. The cost for the additional reduced transmission is an increased filter computation at each node.

Opis:
In the paper, state filtration in a LQG problem formulated for a multisensor system is considered. Control is determined by a central node as a linear form of a state estimate. It is assumed that control values are not available to local nodes. Because of the drawbacks of centralized filtration an optimal fusion of decentralized local Kalman filters is proposed. When control values are not available to local nodes, then control should be treated as a random variable in the synthesis of local state estimates. This leads to a non-classical estimation. It is shown that the proposed filter is equivalent to the centralized one.

In the first case local estimates are based on the local measurement information. It leads to distributed Kalman filter fusion that is well known in a literature. In the second case local node has additionally global information of the system with one step delay. A synthesis of local filters is presented. An advantage of this structure is discussed.

In the paper nonconventional linear equations of state filtration are derived. They are useful for some two-level hierarchical control system structure with coordinator and local controllers having different information. It is assumed that the system considered is described by a linear output equation and a linear state equation with control being a random variable for the coordinator generated by decision rules of the local controllers. The approach to state filtration is based on modified innovations and orthogonality principle. A simple numerical example is presented.

Opis:
A fusion hierarchical state filtration with k−step delay sharing pattern for a multisensor system is considered. A global state estimate depends on local state estimates determined by local nodes using local information. Local available information consists of local measurements and k−step delay global information - global estimate sent from a central node. Local estimates are transmitted to the central node to be fused. The synthesis of local and global filters is presented. It is shown that a fusion filtration with k−step delay sharing pattern is equivalent to the optimal centralized classical Kalman filtration when local measurements are transmitted to the center node and used to determine a global state estimate. It is proved that the k−step delay sharing pattern can reduce covariances of local state errors.

Opis:
The paper summarizes the reconstruction of the historical building erected in the 14th century, during the times of the residence of Grand Master of the Teutonic Order Winrich von Kniprode, currently referred to as the Latin School. It characterizes the location of the Latin School in the urban conservation area of the town of Malbork. The building is situated in the stretch of the buttressed brick escarpment on the Nogat River in the line of the historic defensive walls of Malbork. The paper also outlines the history of this building, constructed and managed by the municipal authorities of Malbork, which for a long time was a seat of a Patronage of Saint George and the Merchant Guild, and next, from the 16th century until 1864, the building housed a school where basic Latin was taught. Next, the situation of this historical monument in the 20th century is discussed. In the next part of the paper, the geological conditions of the site where the building was erected are discussed. The conducted archeological and architectural exploratory research related to the historical building with a particular emphasis on historic preservation and restoration works focusing on the building and its surroundings is presented and analyzed. Currently carried out design, construction and adaptation works allowing new functions to be embedded into this building are also discussed. The paper shows the benefits due to the realization of the reconstruction program of the degraded building of the Latin school in the historic quarter of the town. These activities are aimed at the conversion of the currently derelict building by means of embedding new functions into it. There are being designed, among others, an interactive educational center modern library, astronomical observatory, craft museum and multifunctional hall, allowing proper conditions to be created for the development of educational, artistic and tourism related activities in the reconstructed building. The reconstruction of the historical building is a positive response to its deterioration resulting from former activities and it will contribute to the improvement of the quality of cultural life of both local inhabitants and visitors.

Opis:
The aim of the research was to check the suitability of the Phytotoxkit test for quick assessment of usefulness of ashes from the combustion of sorghum and Jerusalem artichoke biomass as fertilizers in the cultivation of energy crops. Seeds of Sorghum bicolor L. were placed in the Phytotoxkit-plates, filled with Alonet Substrate KS (Latvia) and containing 0-100% of ash from burnt sorghum and Jerusalem artichoke plants. Based on daily measurements under greenhouse conditions, dynamics of seed germination, growth speed of shoots and roots, their fresh and dry biomass, index of chlorophyll content and parameters of gas exchange were evaluated. The results indicated that the modified Phytotoxkit biotest could be useful for quick assessment of ashes usefulness as fertilizers, it can be performed under greenhouse conditions regardless of the growing season and may be an alternative to laborious and long-term field trials. Biotest showed that the studied ashes, used in the proper dosages, improved seed germination, plant growth and biomass yield. These events were associated with increased index of chlorophyll content in leaves, net photosynthesis, stomatal conductivity, transpiration and proportionally decreased concentration of intercellular CO2. This indicate, that the studied ashes can be used as fertilizers in sorghum crops.

An increase in plant productivity and the limitation of environmental pollution through the use of natural fertilizers are becoming the most important issues in contemporary sustainable agriculture. Therefore, the purpose of the research was to demonstrate the effect of Jerusalem artichoke ash, used alone or together with biopreparations and biogas plant waste, on the growth and physiological activity of sorghum and to show their applicability as an alternative to chemical fertilization. The sorghum plants, cultivated in Central and North Poland, were fertilized with the YaraMila Complex, a chemical fertilizer (0, 150, 300 kg ha-1) and each concentration was supplemented with Jerusalem artichoke ash (0-4 t ha-1), applied separately or together with Apol-Humus (10 L ha-1), biogas plant waste (30 m3 ha-1) and Stymjod (5 L ha-1). Within each YaraMila Complex addition, the all ash doses (preferably 2-4 t ha-1), biopreparations and biogas plant waste significantly enhanced plant growth, biomass yield, chlorophyll content, gas exchange (net photosynthesis, transpiration, stomatal conductance, intercellular CO2 concentration), enzyme activity (acid and alkaline phosphorylase, RNase, dehydrogenase) and slightly enhanced the content of the measured elements in plants and their energy properties. The ash applied together with a lower than recommended amount of YaraMila Complex (0 or 150 kg ha-1) increased plant development slightly more than twice the dose of YaraMila Complex used alone (150 or 300 kg ha-1, respectively). This demonstrates that the studied ash can serve as a natural fertilizer and may halve the recommended chemical fertilizer doses.
