    Ambivalence, ever-deepening ambivalence is currently a frequently repeated social diagnosis, huge possibilities of a mediated society, and at the same time a huge scale of human existential dramas, affecting all social groups, easy to observe, is the basic problem, the research problem of this article. Many people are looking for some „footholds” to show their life, to make life useful and to challenge our research, it should be to show this constructive direction. According to the author of this article, it is Christian personalism, with its calmness, without fanaticism, with its depth of pro-existence, implemented by many specific, welleducated and performing responsible functions, as well as very ordinary people who are specific positive and optimistic „case studies” can be very hopeful at the moment. Strengthening personalistic self-esteem as a person who is under the constant protection of God - the Person and in a deep personal relationship with another person - a person, is a powerful opportunity to save humanity. Personalist pro-social education is the educational hope of continually learning oneself through the gift of a person to another person in a relevant bilateral pro-existential flow of values and is education for a better and optimistic future.

    Niewątpliwie dla życia Kościoła istotnym jest kult świętych – inspirujących wiernych, by wieść życie prawe i uczulających na możliwości angażowania swych talentów dla życia Kościoła. Jeden z najważniejszych pomorskich myślicieli okresu międzywojnia – ks. Franciszek Sawicki (1877–1952) rozumie świętość jako aktualizujący się wciąż proces kształtowania ludzkiej osobowości w duchu chrześcijańskiej aksjologii. Osobowość chrześcijańska to najistotniejszy motor kształtowania i rozwoju dziejów. W wartościach chrześcijańskich widzi czynniki, mające wpływ na kształtowanie ludzkiej osobowości w taki sposób, że mają one niebagatelny wpływ dla rozwoju kultury ludzkiej i dziejów cywilizacji. Tym samym swoją personalistyczną, chrześcijańską wizją włącza się w dyskusję między skrajnie indywidualistyczną koncepcją Thomasa Caryle’a czy Maxa Stirnera a kolektywizmem Gustawa Le Bon’a, Karola Marksa i José Ortegi y Gassset’a.
    Undoubtedly, a veneration of the saints is essential for the life of the Church – inspiring the faithful to live a righteous life and making them aware of a given opportunities to turn their talents for the life of the Church. One of the most important Pomeranian thinkers of the interwar period, Father Franciszek Sawicki (1877 – 1952), understands holiness as constantly updating process of shaping human personality in the spirit of Christian axiology. Christian personality is the most important driving force behind the shaping and development of history. He considers Christian values as the factors affecting the development of human personality in such a way that they have a considerable impact on the development of human culture and the history of civilization. Thus, his personalistic, Christian vision turns into discussion between the extremely individualistic conception of Thomas Carlyle, Max Stirner and Gustave Le Bon, Karl Marx and José Ortega y Gasset, proponents of collectivism.

    Dokumenty Kościoła na temat katechezy postulują postrzeganie dzieci jako aktywnych i świadomych podmiotów przekazu wiary. Artykuł podejmuje kwestię rozumienia podmiotowości dziecka w historii katechezy oraz problematykę dzieciństwa we współczesnej kulturze. Dzieci żyją w coraz bardziej skomplikowanym świecie, w którym dochodzą do głosu takie zjawiska jak indywidualizm, pluralizm i zerwanie z tradycją. W tym kontekście pojawia się pytanie o zadania, które ma do spełnienia katecheza, by sprostać wyzwaniom obecnego czasu i jednocześnie pozostać „wierną człowiekowi”. W tym celu konieczne jest przede wszystkim uznanie prawa dziecka do „pierwszej naiwności”, poszukiwanie adekwatnego języka oraz uczenie wiary, a nie tylko religii.
    Christian anthropology is personalistic, i.e. the man is a person who has unique position among other beings. The current catechetical documents of the Church require therefore that those to whom communication of the faith is addressed are seen as active, conscious subjects and not as passive objects of education. This also applies to children. Social changes of the past 20 years have had a decisive influence on the situation of the child in Poland. The article approaches the issue of understanding the child’s subjectivity in the history of catechesis as well as the problems of childhood in contemporary culture. It may be said that the children of today live in an increasingly complex world in which such processes as (i) individualism, (ii) pluralism and (iii) breaking the continuity of tradition come to the fore. In this context, the question arises what tasks catechesis has to perform, in order to meet the challenges of our times. At the same time catechesis should remain faithful to the principle that in the process of the faith communication, the child must be an active subject, conscious and co‑responsible, and not merely a silent and passive recipient. For this purpose it is necessary (i) to recognize the right of the child to “first naivety”, (ii) to search for an adequate language and (iii) to teach the faith, not just religion by means of incorporating elements of the celebration combined with recounting the history of salvation to the catechetical process.

    Problem „wychowania jako troski o osobę” jest tematem jak najbardziej aktualnym i wieloaspektowo ważnym ze względu na pozycję ideologii gender, którą ona sobie wywalczyła w dyskursie wychowawczym w ogóle, a w zakresie szkoły i studiów w szczególności. Stąd też autor, motywowany takim stanem rzeczy, podjął się analizy takich pojęć jak: wychowanie, osoba ludzka, gender, antropologia katolicka, etos (tradycja) rodziny. W sumie doprowadziło to go do następujących wniosków mających charakter egzystencjalny, jak i pedagogiczny: A) Oskarżenia podające pod adresem antropologii chrześcijańskiej, iż zaniedbuje ona w dyskursie metodycznym i wychowawczym temat, jakim jest płeć i seksualność człowieka, są supozycją ideologiczną, nieuzasadnioną naukowo. B) To ideologia gender jest tym stanowiskiem, które wprowadza do procesu wychowawczego implikacje materialistyczno-hedonistyczne, i słusznie jest ona nazywana największym zagrożeniem Kościoła katolickiego XXI wieku, także poprzez ulokowanie prawne i finansowe, jakie posiada (por. gender mainstraeming). C) Temat klauzuli (obiekcji) sumienia powinien być rozstrzygnięty na korzyść jej stosowania również (a może przede wszystkim) w aspekcie wychowawczym. Jest to zagadnienie z problematyką „wychowanie a osoba” mocno związane, jako konstytucyjne uprawnienie wychowawcy rodzica i nauczyciela (lub wychowawcy i rodzica zarazem). W tym zakresie są oni obopólnie powołani do ścisłej współpracy, wynikającej z samej natury rzeczy, którą tradycyjnie określamy pojęciem: wychowanie.
    Education as a concern for the person (undertaken at home and at school) is an issue of the most current and multifaceted importance because of the position that gender ideology has won for itself in the educational discussion in general, and in this respect in particular. Hence the author, motivated by this state of affairs, undertook the analysis of such concepts as: education, human person, gender, Catholic anthropology, ethos (tradition) of the family. This resulted in the following conclusions of an existential and pedagogical character: 1) The accusation against Christian anthropology, that it neglects in the methodological and educational discourse the topic of sex and human sexuality, is an ideological supposition, scientifically unjustified. 2) The position of gender introduces into the educational process materialistic-hedonistic connotations and it is rightly called the greatest threat to the Catholic Church of the 21st century because of the legal and financial locations, which it has (cf. gender mainstreaming). 3) The issue of the clause (objection) of conscience should be resolved in favor of its application, also (or perhaps especially) on the level of education. This is a subject strongly connected with our issue, as a constitutional right of educators: parents and teachers (teachers and parents at the same time). In this respect, both are mutually called to a closer cooperation, arising from the very nature of things, which we traditionally define by the concept of “the education of a person”.
