During the Hallstatt period in Central Europe, profound cultural, economic, and social changes occurred. This is due to the emergence of new technologies ‒ primarily iron metallurgy. Another element is the vicinity of the dominant economic system, i.e., the broadly understood Mediterranean civi-lization, especially the Etruscan cities in Italy. These asymmetrical relationships forced social changes in the areas north of the Alps. An important factor was probably the slave trade, which forced violence and armed struggle. This resulted in a progressive militarization, which is visible through the construction of defensive settlements and the strengthening of farms. The consequence was extreme social stratification and the domination of aristocratic elites. Thus, the stability of such a system depended on the relationship with the dominant partner. In a situation of disruption of relationships, a crisis must have arisen, resulting in the collapse of this culture model.

El presente artículo propone el análisis de la dramatización y la teatralización de Internet y de las nuevas tecnologías en la obra de Francisco Bezerra, Grooming. Como ya sugiere el título de la pieza (vocablo inglés que al español se traduce como acoso cibernético a menores de edad), la denuncia de ese tipo de cibercrimen ocupará un lugar central. Dicha denuncia se enmarca en una refl exión sobre la conducta humana que se ha visto modificada por las posibilidades y el impacto de las herramientas telemáticas y los nuevos medios. En nuestra aproximación no nos vamos a limitar a la pieza dramática. Dada la temática elegida, no sorprende la inclusión de la tecnología en la puesta en escena, dirigida por José Luis Gómez. Esta convergencia no solo permite pensar en la nueva dimensión que cobra el texto dramático, sino que también abre ambos a una nueva cuestión, a saber, la relación entre el teatro, las nuevas tecnologías y el público, cuya sensibilidad y percepción se vienen configurando en relación con los nuevos medios.

The paper aims to present the possibilities WebQuest gives in the educational context for recognising and catering to individual learners’ needs. The focus of the article is on altering the learning conditions contributing to the deepening diversity of learners’ needs. The use of the example of WebQuest as a teaching tool in LSP (Language for SpecificPurposes) class for monitoring needs, together with a highly personalised teaching process, is analysed. The presented application of WebQuest fillsin the gap in the individualisation of the teaching process.

The contents of this article introduces a Polish entrepreneur, legally acting as a natural person, to the conditions under which he/she may be granted a tax relief for purchasing new technologies in order to realize innovation projects. In the article, a list of legal determinants regarding the issue of a new technology relief and the one who is subject to it has been presented as well as a ”map” of the currently available Polish governmental and scientific institutions which help the entrepreneur with preparation and carrying out of the innovation projects in his companies. The article aims at indicating a possible participation of the state in the costs of innovation enterprises to, especially, small firms and sole traders, which can encourage the entrepreneurs to consider their possible use of tax relief for new technologies and contribute to the development of knowledge-based economy.

The paper refers to the evolution of methods, new technologies, and devices in security control processes in light of civil aviation requirements, procedures, and increased flow of passengers. The research problem has been defined as follows: How shall the international airport security controls function in the context of regulatory and operational conditions and current and future threats? In reference to the problem, the research hypothesis was defined as follows: Security control in civil aviation consists of screening persons and detecting prohibited articles and mainly depends on the professional competence of security staff and the proper selection and maintenance of electronic assistive devices. Professional competences refer to personnel’s knowledge, experience, qualification, monitoring, operational supervision, and quality control as part of their tasks. The development of new technologies requires the appropriate selection, commensurate with risk analysis, of electronic assistive devices, including equipment, methods, technical means, and their maintenance in a proper technical condition. The paper presents the results of empirical research conducted amongst experienced aviation security forums. Because of its complexity and unpredictability, this problem still leaves a wide margin for improvement and efficiency. The following research methods were used to solve the research problem: theoretical methods and empirical methods: diagnostic survey and expert interview.

The feeling of loneliness is a condition that affects not only adults and youth, but also children. It may be a temporary and transient in nature, occurring as a response to external circumstances, although it can also be long-lasting, as long as months and years, and be a result of deep, traumatic childhood experiences. One of its most common sources is isolation of a child in a family, peer groups and at school. In the article, the author considersnwhether the sense of loneliness experienced by children can also be traced back to the media and the functioning of children in the digital environment. Thanks to the conductednqualitative study (focus interviews with children), the paper answers questions regarding how early school-age children perceive loneliness and isolation, and whether they link this phenomenon with digital media.

New technologies are, in the world of advancing processes of globalization, scientific and technical revolution, one of the most important indicators for designing many areas of social life. The useage of information technology has initiated many social phenomena generating many previously unknown concepts, threats, and in response, new areas of expert and research interest. One of them is cyber security, which focuses on building national, European or international policies to secure the functioning of information systems. The aim of this paper is to analyze and evaluate cyber security from the perspective of a user of new technologies. The applied research method will be a synthetic and analytical analysis of domestic and foreign literature in the field of new technologies and cyber security.

W artykule przedstawiono postępowanie w procesie dokonywania wyboru z zakresu: produkować czy kupować (metoda make-orbuy). Jako studium przypadku posłużyła firma Profish, która jest typową firmą handlową, lecz rozważa możliwość podjęcia produkcji. W artykule została przedstawiona strategia rozwoju firmy Profish poprzez inwestycję w produkcję własną. W artykule przedstawiono koszty wytworzenia, które posłużyły do wyznaczenia punktu rentowności produkcji. Analiza wrażliwości, w której szacowany jest wpływ zmiany niektórych czynników tj. kosztów stałych, kosztów zmiennych i ceny usługi na rentowność produkcji potwierdziła opłacalność produkcji.
The article presents the process of making a choice between makeor-buy. Profish company, which is a typical trading company, was used as a case study, the company considering the possibility of production. The article presents Profish's development strategy through investment in own production. The article presents manufacturing costs that have been used to determine the viability of production. Sensitivity analysis, where the impact of some factors such as fixed costs, variable costs and outsourcing prices on the profitability of production has been estimated. The Analysis has confirmed the profitability of production.

This paper explores the possibilities created by modern technologies to prevent bullying and antisocial behaviors. The live of modern generations is inseparable from the mass media and advanced ICT. In this context, anti-social and pro-social behavior of young people was shown and defined. Then, a review was made how new technologies can be used in (cyber)bullying prevention and interventions strategies. Technology-based solutions were divided into two groups: (1) preventative solutions and therefore applicable before bullying occurs and (2) reactive solutions, which are aimed at helping victim, bystanders and others to deal with bullying. Some of presented activities are an extension of the activities already known in the field of peer violence prevention from the face to face context to the online environment. The examples of technology-based solutions presented in the text have a different degree of complexity. In some cases, they boil down to one simple operation, in another they mean long-term conduct. Based on the information presented in this article, the conclusion is that new technologies may be used in raising awareness about bullying phenomenon, for developing socio-emotional skills and some bullying preventative and reactive solutions. However, these strategies need to be combined with others in a way to build a thoughtful and comprehensive program, as well as more research is needed in this area to verify their real effects

The paper presents the results of empirical research conducted among farmers from different Polish provinces. The study involved 140 farmers, where half of them were young people (so-called young farmers, in the age under 40), and the remaining – older farmers. The attitudes of farmers towards innovation were examined, taking into account some factors of human capital. The study was conducted using the survey method. Based on the obtained results the significant relationship between the level of education and the quality of human capital was indicated. The younger, well-educated farmers are looking for new solutions and willing to implement innovations. Despite the pro-innovative attitudes, implementation of new solutions is very difficult. In the opinion of respondents, the most important barrier to the implementation of innovation is not the lack of knowledge and information about new solutions, but the lack of funds and the high cost of new technologies.
Przedstawiono wyniki badań empirycznych prowadzonych wśród rolników z całej Polski. W badaniu wzięło udział 140 rolników, z czego połowę stanowili młodzi rolnicy (w wieku do 40. roku życia), a pozostała część to starsi rolnicy. Zbadano postawy rolników wzgledem innowacji, z uwzględnieniem wybranych czynników kapitału ludzkiego. Badania przeprowadzono przy użyciu ankiety uczestniczącej z kwestionariuszem pytań. Na podstawie pozyskanych wyników można wskazać na istotny związek między poziomem wykształcenia i edukacją a jakością kapitału ludzkiego. Młodzi, lepiej wykształceni rolnicy poszukują nowych rozwiązań i chętnie wdrażają innowacje. Mimo proinnowacyjnych postaw wdrażanie nowych rozwiązań jest bardzo trudne. W opinii badanych najpoważniejszą barierą wdrażania innowacji nie był brak wiedzy i informacji o nowych rozwiązaniach, a brak środków finansowych oraz koszt nowych technologii.

The binomial computerization method is comparison of certain similarities and differences of plants identification system. Celem artykułu jest rozpoznanie znaczenia innowacji produktowych i proceso-wych na podjęcie i rozwijanie aktywności zagranicznej przez młode firmy technologiczne (MFT). Dla realizacji niniejszego celu zostały przeprowadzone studia literatury przedmiotu ujmujące istotę i relacje między innowacjami i internacjonalizacją w odniesieniu do małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw. Następnie przedstawiono wybrane wyniki badania zrealizowanego wśród reprezentantów grupy MFT zlokalizowanych w parkach naukowo-technologicznych na terenie województwa warmińsko-mazurskiego.
The purpose of this article is to recognize the importance of product and process innovations for start and develop foreign expansion by young new-technology based firms (NTBF). To achieve the goal, literature studies the subject and relationship between innovation and internationalization of enterprises in relation to the small and medium companies were carried out. Then, were present selected results of empirical research carried out among representatives of the NTBF group located in the science and technology parks in the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Voivodeship.

The article tackles the subject of forms of activity of the present-day child in the context of cultural and civilizational transformations and the latest findings in neuroscience. It points to the developmental risks related to excessive television viewing and the use of digital devices. It justifies the need for multi-faceted changes in this sphere. The article also contains a description and interpretation of the results of the own research.
