    Opis:
    This article summarizes the arguments within the scientific discussion on the issue of performance management of processes in Industry 4.0 as a basic prerequisite for improvement of processes, eliminating waste, introducing innovations, gaining competitive advantages. The main purpose of the research was to examine impact of process diagrams to the possibilities of improvement of the processes in order production aimed at increasing the quality of orders. Methods of research were focused on using flowcharts for individual processes for some order. In research was used indicator of process efficiency, limit values of indicator, compare analysis. The object of research was process of order productionin area of construction. The relevance of the decision of this scientific problem was connected with the the quality of orders. The paper presents the results point to significant improvements in the selected company in individual processes and increasing the level of quality of services provided after using flowcharts for processes. In area of human resorces and budgeting of order was the efficiency coefficient decreased, the other processes increased. Flowcharts in process management are very effective instruments for the improvement of processes. The results can be useful for the evaluation of the performance of processes in order production in various area of industry.
    W artykule podsumowano argumenty w dyskusji naukowej na temat zarządzania wydajnością procesów w Przemyśle 4.0 jako podstawowego warunku doskonalenia procesów, eliminacji marnotrawstwa, wprowadzania innowacji, zdobywania przewag konkurencyjnych. Głównym celem badań było zbadanie wpływu diagramów procesów na możliwości doskonalenia procesów w produkcji zamówień w celu podniesienia jakości zamówień. Metody badawcze koncentrowały się na wykorzystaniu schematów blokowych dla poszczególnych procesów dla pewnego zamówienia. W badaniach wykorzystano wskaźnik efektywności procesu, wartości graniczne wskaźnika, analizę porównawczą. Przedmiotem badań był proces realizacji zamówienia w obszarze budownictwa. Trafność rozstrzygnięcia tego problemu naukowego była związana z jakością zamówień. W pracy przedstawiono wyniki wskazujące na znaczące usprawnienia w wybranym przedsiębiorstwie w poszczególnych procesach oraz podniesienie poziomu jakości świadczonych usług po zastosowaniu schematów blokowych dla procesów. W obszarze zasobów ludzkich i budżetowania zamówień obniżył się współczynnik efektywności, a pozostałe procesy wzrosły. Schematy blokowe w zarządzaniu procesami są bardzo skutecznymi instrumentami doskonalenia procesów. Wyniki mogą być przydatne do oceny wydajności procesów w produkcji zleconej w różnych dziedzinach przemysłu.

    Purpose: The aim of this article is to present the results of research on needs and possibilities of implementing Lean Management concept at the university. Using the literature review and the results of empirical research, author proposes specific solutions (tools). Design/methodology/approach: The aim of the research was carried out on the basis of latest world literature review and empirical research conducted at a Polish university, the domain of which is practical education. The article is a case study with a proposal for the implementation of LM in a selected university. The research covered selected organizational units of universities. Findings: Recommendations for the use of selected Lean tools is the need to rationalize the activities undertaken in universities, including continuous improvement and flexibility of processes. There are economically justifiable actions to reduce waste and losses occurring in universities, as well as the integration of diversified and often non-cooperating organizational (functional) units. The proposals presented in this article may become an inspiration for universities that are thinking about implementing previously unused improvement tools. Research limitations/implications: Empirical research has been limited to one university, and the proposed methods and tools relate to selected functional areas. LM implementation requires prior analysis of the needs and capabilities of each organization. Practical implications: Due to the functioning of universities in an increasingly difficult to predict environment, they are forced to look for ways not only to survive, but above all to continuously improve the entire organization. The implemented rationalization and development measures should contribute to the improvement of the effectiveness and efficiency of management. Unpredictable changes concern the legal, socio-cultural, economic and economic environment, as well as the COVID-19 epidemic situation. These challenges are met by the concept of LM - as an inspiration and an opportunity to accelerate remedial and pro-development actions. Originality/value: The article is dedicated to people interested in the theory and practice of the LM concept. The use of the methods and tools proposed by the author in various functional areas of the university may bring about beneficial changes in the form of improvements in activities, time savings, as well as rationalization and greater efficiency of the implemented processes.

    Opis:
    Nanodiagonastic methods in plant pathology are used for enhancing detection and identification of different plant pathogens and toxigenic fungi. Improvement of the specificity and efficiency of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) by using some nanoparticles is emerging as a new area of research. In the current research, silver, zinc, and gold nanoparticles were used to increase the yield of DNA for two plant pathogenic fungi including soil-borne fungus Rhizoctonia solani and toxigenic fungus Alternaria alternata. Gold nanoparticles combined with zinc and silver nanoparticles enhanced both DNA yield and PCR products compared to DNA extraction methods with ALB buffer, sodium dodecyl sulfate, ALBfree from protinase K, ZnNPs and AgNPs. Also, by using ZnNPs and AgNPs the DNA yield was enhanced and the sensitivity of random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) PCR products was increased. Application of nanomaterials in the PCR reaction could increase or decrease the PCR product according to the type of applied nanometal and the type of DNA template. Additions of AuNPs to PCR mix increased both sensitivity and specificity for PCR products of the tested fungi. Thus, the use of these highly stable, commercially available and inexpensive inorganic nano reagents open new opportunities for improving the specificity and sensitivity of PCR amplicon, which is the most important standard method in molecular plant pathology and mycotoxicology.

It is also intended to indicate the method or group of methods for the assessment of the most relevant companies operating within the formal system of management quality.
    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest krótki przegląd obecnie stosowanych metod oceny skuteczności i efektywności organizacji zorientowanych na ciągłe doskonalenie procesów i wyrobu. Ma on także na celu wskazanie metody lub grupy metod najbardziej przydatnej do oceny przedsiębiorstwa funkcjonującego w ramach formalnego systemu zarządzania jakością.

    Each organisation, regardless of its profile, strives to achieve the best results possible; however, it needs to be noted that they frequently are different for each entity. Based on the studies and observations, the authors noticed that famous companies have similar approaches to the organisation of processes. These processes can be assigned to Lean Philosophy derived from the Japanese manufacturing industry. Many corporations and even smaller companies apply Lean principles. To introduce changes to the organisation and functioning of businesses, it is indispensable to subject them to Lean Transformation and to map basic value streams for the company as a whole and for its individual departments.
    Celem każdej organizacji zarówno działającej w przemyśle, jak i w firmach usługowych, urzędach czy jednostkach budżetowych jest uzyskanie jak najlepszych wyników. Wyniki te są definiowane dla każdego podmiotu w odmienny sposób. Na podstawie badań i obserwacji określono, że procesy w każdej ze znanych organizacji cechują się wieloma podobieństwami. Procesy te można połączyć i podporządkować filozofii Lean mającej swoje korzenie w japońskich przedsiębiorstwach produkcyjnych. Wiele dużych koncernów podobnie jak mniejszych firm z powodzeniem stosuje zawarte w tej filozofii zasady działania. Zmiany w funkcjonowaniu zarówno ludzi i/lub kultury działania organizacji dzięki implementacji Lean możliwe są w przypadku wskazania podstawowego strumienia wartości dla ogółu firmy, jak i strumienia wartości dla poszczególnych jej działów.
