Objective: To evaluate the immunostimulant (ISt) role of Mucuna pruriens-seed (Mp-seed) enriched with Artemia (Ar) in Litopenaeus vannamei (L. vannamei) infected by Vibrio harveyi (V. harveyi). Method: Fifteen shrimp (30±5g) were stocked per 250 L tank in 3 replicates and fed twice daily with Ar enriched with Mp-seed methanolic extracts at 100 ppm and 200 ppm for 21 days. Infected L. vannamei shows altered immunoparameter (IPM) and antioxidant enzyme status due to the V. harveyi infection induced stress. Results: Significantly increased (p<0.05) total haemocyte count, respiratory burst, phenoloxidase and superoxide dismutase activities were observed in shrimp fed with Mp enriched Ar diets compared to infected group. Supplementation of Mp enriched Ar in diet could enhance the immunity of shrimp against V. harveyi infection by reverses the antioxidant level. The histology of hepatopancreas (HPC) also shows Mp-fed groups has restores the normal structure. Conclusion: The study demonstrated that Mp enriched Ar in diet have a potentially role in ISt and an effective antioxidant by regulating infectious stress against vibriosis.

Some substituted 1-thiocarbomyl pyrazolines including 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carbothioamides using solvent-free preheated fly-ash catalyzed cyclization between chalcones and thiosemicarbazide microwave irradiation. The yields of these thiocarbomyl pyrazolines are more than 80 %. The purities of these synthesised pyrazoline derivatives are checked by their physical constants and spectral data earlier reported in the literature The spectral data of these 3-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)-5-(substituted phenyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-1-carbothioamides had been correlated, using single and multi-linear regression analysis.

A series containing thirteen title compounds were synthesized and recorded IR and NMR spectra. The infrared νNH, C=N(cm-1)stretches, 1H NMR δNH, 13C NMR δC=N(ppm) chemical shifts of synthesized oxazine amines were assigned and correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters. From the results of statistical analyses, the effect of substituents on the above spectral frequencies can be discussed.

More than 85% yields of thirteen 4-(4-chloro-1-naphthyl)-5,6-dihydro-6-(substituted phenyl)-4H-1,3-oxazine-2-amines weer synthesised by SiO2-H3PO4 catalyzed solvent-free cyclization of substituted styryl4-chloro-1-naphthyl ketones and urea under microwave irradiation. The synthesized oxazine amines have been characterized by analytical and spectroscopic techniques. The antimicrobial activities of these 4-(4-chloro-1-naphthyl)-5,6-dihydro-6-(substituted phenyl)-4H-1,3-oxazine-2-amines have been appraised by means of Bauer-Kirby technique. The insect antifeedant activities of these oxazine-2-amines were assessed by Dethler’s technique using 4th instar larvae Achoea janata L.

Opis:
Image Steganography is a technique for securing the secret message using a cover image in such a manner that the alterations made to the image are perceptually indiscernible. In this paper a novel method for secret message hiding in colour images is proposed. The message is encoded by extracting the RGB components of a colour image. Run length encoding is performed on the data and insertion of the data in least significant bits (LSB) of the pixel is guided by linear congruential generator (LCG). A 3R-3G-2B LSB pattern is recommended for insertion of the data making the information more secure without bringing any significant distortions to the original image. The experiments performed on various colour images demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm in terms of PSNR of cover image and that of stego-image.

A series containing eleven benzofuranyl flavonols have been prepared by cyclization of 3-hydroxybenzofuranyl chalcones with 30 % hydrogen peroxide in the presence of sodium bicarbonate. The synthesized flavonols were characterized by their physical constants, analytical and spectroscopic data. The infrared spectral νOH, CO stretches(cm-1), NMR chemical shifts of OH, CO(δ, ppm) of these flavonols were assigned and correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters using single and multi linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analyses, the effects of substituents on the above group frequencies were discussed.

A series of some N-[(E)-phenylmethylidene]benzenesulfonamide derivatives have been synthesised using solid SiO2-H3PO4 catalyst under solvent free conditions in microwave irradiation. The synthesised E-N-benzene sulfonilimines purities have been verified by their physical constants and spectroscopic data. The spectral frequencies are correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters using linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analysis the effect of substituents on the group frequencies will be discussed.

A series of some aryl 1,3-oxazine-4-thione derivatives have been synthesized by 1-methyl imidazole catalyzed three component one pot synthetic method in room temperature. The purities of these thiones were studied by their physical constants and spectroscopic data. The infrared and 13C NMR spectral data of CN and CS were correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters using single and multi-linear regression analysis. From the results of statistical analysis, the effect of substituent on the spectral data was studied.

Some (E)-2-(substituted benzylideneamino)-N-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl)-hexahydro-2H-cyclopenta[b]thiophene-3-carboxamide derivatives have been synthesized by SiO2:H3PO4 catalyzed solvent-free condensation of 2-amino-N-(3-chloro-4-fluorophenyl)-hexahydro-2H-cyclopenta [b]thiophene-3-carboxamide and various substituted benzaldehydes in microwave irradiation. The yield of the imine-carboximido derivatives has been found to be more than 85 %. The purity of all imine-carboximido derivatives has been checked using their physical constants and spectral data. The spectral data of the imine-carboximido derivatives such as infrared ? (cm-1) of CO, NH, C-N, C-Cl, C-F, C=N, and the NMR chemical shifts (?, ppm) of NH, CH, CO and C=N have been correlated with Hammett substituent constants, F and R parameters. From the results of statistical analysis, the effects of substituent on the above spectral group absorptions have been discussed.

Elven (E)-1-(4-bromophenyl)-3-(substituted phenyl)-2-propen-1-ones are formed using sodium hydroxide catalyzed Aldol condensation between 4-bromoacetophenone and substituted benzaldehyde. The production of these chalcone compounds are above 90%. These α, β unsaturated ketones were specified by their physical constants and spectral data (UV, IR, 1H and 13C-NMR). Hammett substituted constants (σ, σ+, σI & σR and F and R parameters have been used for correlating the spectral values of these α, β unsaturated ketones by using single and multi-linear regression analysis. The impacts of substituents on the spectral data have been known on statistical analysis. By using Bauer-Kirby method the anti-microbial activities of these (E)-1-(4-bromophenyl)-3-(substituted phenyl)-2-propen-1-ones compounds are estimated.

About ten (Z)-1-(1-(substitutedphenyl)ethylidene)-2-(diphenylmethylene)hydrazines were prepared and their purities were examined by literature method.
