Opis:
Vibration tests of marine gas turbine engines are performed as researches on-line and off-line types. The paper presents analyses of both methods. Results of tests were received on three types of gas turbine engines operated in the COGAG type propulsion systems. The application of periodical diagnostic procedures or on-line monitoring systems makes it possible to operate ship propulsion systems in accordance with their current technical state. In the case of ship gas turbines the hourly period of scheduled maintenance or repair surveys is presently the criterion for maintenance time determination. The Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is used for confirmation actual technical state. FEA are used successfully for a wide range of problems and it may also be used for the modelling and analysis of rotor system. Presently, the diagnostics team uses FEA and the modelling of rotordynamics in conjunction with vibration analysis for detection and identification of unbalancing. Main goal of researches was qualified of helpfulness and unequivocally results received by methods of synchronous measurement, order tracking and auto tracking. All vibration symptoms were chosen from the methodology of the diagnosing gas turbine engines operated in the Polish Navy, called BDS (Base Diagnosing System). This element of BDS is accepted and used in all ships of Polish Navy, which are powered by the COGAG power plant. Second purpose of researches was estimation of the possibility of implementation presented methods of vibration analyses of gas turbine engines fornew, modern on-line monitoring system. The proposed diagnostics method makes it possible to determine the limiting value of vibration symptoms witch, if exceeded, indicates the inadmissible axis slope value between rotated machines of gas turbine engine and, more-over, it provides an unambiguous relationship between the value of symptom of rotors unbalance and the rotors rotational speed.

Opis:
A dynamic response of a semi-trailer suspension to a real road profile under two different loads was investigated in this study. The trailer was a low loader for transporting heavy and large loads which configuration could be adjusted to the current needs. During the described investigation the vehicle was composed of: detachable gooseneck, maximally extended low bed and 5 hydraulically steered axles comprised 2-axle and 3-axle assemblies. The experiments were performed for unloaded and loaded with 60 tons trailer, that was equal to maximum trailer pay load. Acceleration measurements at unsprung and sprung parts of the vehicle were applied. As a test surface a railway track crossing was chosen. Acceleration time series were analysed by the means of power spectral density. The isolation of free vibration and forced vibration frequencies and effectiveness of suspension damping over wide frequency range was done. Two characteristic signal bands were identified. In the frequency range up to 10 Hz vehicle vibration energy decreased for the load increase for both, sprung and unsprung parts. In contrast, in the range between 10 and 25 Hz at higher load increase of vibration energy was noticed, however only at unsprung mass. Data analysis revealed complexity of vehicle vertical acceleration as a response to the road profile. Nevertheless, it allowed for estimation of the trailer dynamic loads under real road conditions.

In today's world, innovationality is synonymous with modernity, development, good governance and strategic thinking. The country 's economy and whole of society should be innovative. The research and development process and the results of the work would be reviewed from the commercialization perspective. The all innovative projects should finish on thefree market, but majority of them end their lives at the research and development stage. The idea of spin-off corporations has to serve the subordination of the entire innovative project realization cycle to the vision of its commercialization. Innovative society and economy require implementation of both large and small innovations, created in large, medium and small R & D programs. In economically leading countries, the mega-programs play an important role in innovationality. small innovation programs are usually created by small research teams and individual inventors. For the balanced development of the country's economy, there is a needfor the variety, both small and large innovation programs. In the absence of an effective opportunity to realize one's own Polish mega-programs, it is worth to consider the mega-program named: ,,Provision of services on the International research market" as a Polish specialty. For 10 years the Warsaw's Institute of Aviation pursues this strategy. The Institute of Aviation employs about 800 specialists, which perform the advanced research of the new materials and designs for the new gas turbine engines and combustion systems.

Opis:
Vibration diagnostic tests of marine gas turbine engines are performed as a research of on-line and off-line types. On-line systems generally monitored one or two vibration symptoms, which asses the limited and/or the critical values of parameters and they, potentially, can warn and/or shutdown engines. Off-line Systems are usually used for vibration analysis during non-steady state of work. The paper presents a new method of vibration diagnostics of rotor bearing system of gas turbine systems. The study assumes implementation of characteristics of vibration signals during the shut-down process of the rotor. The shut-down process is non-stationary so the studies used the order tracking procedure. Identified orders constitute individual characteristics as a function of changes of the rotational speed and shut-down process time. These allow the observation of changes in the support rigidity of the rotor in the frequency domain and change the bearing resistance torque as a function of changing time of the shut-down process. The resulting characteristics are as reference fingerprints for each of the rotors. Changes in the characteristics of the primary evidence of the processes of wear. Changes in the stiffness of rotor supports make change the amplitude of orders and frequency of the resonance signals observed in the frequency domain - decreasing rotational speed. The bearing wear results in changes in the shut-down time between successive intervals of characteristic rotational speed and the total shut-down time.

Opis:
The work presents research of defective railway wheel and rail dynamics and mathematical model of system “Railway vehicle wheel – track”. An assumption was made that the Rail R–65 and railway wheel with flats are with unevenness. The aim of this investigation is to identify the contact forces resulting from the wheel/rail contact at the various defects. Rail track dynamics is described by finite element method, while soil and wagon dynamics is described by the discrete elements. The mathematical model is to assess physical and mechanical properties, roughness of wheel and rail surface, and their geometry. In the mathematical model of the rail is evaluated: the impact of axial force, the initial deformation of rail, the foundation of soil, the gap between sleeper and rail. Profile of railway wheel is defined as a function of radius variable depending on the polar angle and described by Fourier series. In this mathematical model of railway wheel and rail contact area is divided into small sections, where the force is set in contact using the Hertz theory. Total system of non-linear equations of motion is solved by applying the Newton-Raphson method. The speed of the train is 100 km/h and static load on the rail is 100 kN. The flat of the wagon wheel is L=100 mm. Numerical results of contact problem are obtained. Duration of contact is nearly equal to period during which the wheel set passes a half of the flat length. The contact force operating the wheelset is equal to approximately 1.0 MN. Maximum value of the sleeper acceleration is equal 410 g.

The aim of the study presented in the paper was to examine the impact of changes related to aircraft modernization, the dynamic properties of an aircraft on the basis of five cases studied experimentally. Which changes in the dynamics of an aircraft structure occurred as a result of modernization can be experimentally tested by resonance tests. For this purpose, resonance tests should be carried out before the aircraft modernization and after its completion. In order to mapping the conditions of free flight the objects were suspended flexibly. The electrodynamics actuators were used to induce vibrations, piezoelectric transducers were used for the measurement of vibrations. The size and phase of extortion forces and their application points were selected individually for each resonance in order to get the best separation of it. The first stage of the study was based on recordings the frequency - amplitude characteristics. The second stage of the study was the Identification of individual frequencies and mode shapes of each resonance, which was implemented by choosing the size and the proportion of mutual phase shifts between the extortion forces. In the selection the criteria based on minimizing the phase difference of vibrations measured at several points of the structure were used. The final stage of this study was to register the frequency and shapes mode of the tested resonance and the resonance generalized masses and damping coefficients.

Opis:
This paper considers 1st stage compressor blade dynamics in the one-pass jet engines of trainer aircraft. Research was carried out on an engine test bench using the SAD system and its results were compared with those obtained using the tensometric approach. In this paper presented basic dynamic properties of rotor blades, bench test of rotor blade dynamics, Bench tests of the dynamic behaviour of blades subjected to external impacts and then Comparison of strain gauge and SAD tip-timing results. Then discusses the results of tests assessing the accuracy of the 1987 ITWL device by comparing strain gauge signals with those recorded by SAD apparatus in a running engine. It also presented simultaneous vibration readings of all the rotor blades at selected rotation speeds. Also shows that increased stress in these blades may be due to repeated engine surges, normal and hot engine surges, entry into the engine of a foreign object. Among others selection and layout of rotor blades in the 1st stage of a one-pass engine compressor, stress amplitudes for rotor blade, stress in rotor blade, stress amplitudes, free inlet flow and smooth engine acceleration, vibration amplitudes, asynchronous vibrations are presented in the paper.
