Interpersonal communicate frequently refers to the transmission and receiv-ing of information between the sender and the recipient, or between a small group of people remaining in direct contact with each other. Full communica-tion process should be carried out in two directions. On one side of the sender transmits your message, and on the other the recipient responds so that the back sends the message to the sender. Bidirectional communication process expresses itself through interpersonal communication as undertaken in the context of the exchange of verbal and non-verbal signals in order to achieve better interoperability. When you communicate interpersonally is inseparable. the unity of time and space the participants of the process. This is the basic social process, which forms the basis for other people in society.

A large number of diverse models illustrating the complexity of the communication process are used in the communication studies. Those models form the foundation of studies undertaken by scholars and hypotheses employed by them. Current theoretical findings cannot, however, keep up with the change that has happened in the communication process due to digitalization of the media. The author of this article attempts to fill the existing gap by proposing his own model (CTO model, Content-, Technik- und Organisations-Modell), which takes into consideration the frequently omitted area of media production and puts an emphasis on the causal relation between its elements, such as the content, technology, and organization of the media. The main value of the proposed model lies in the fact that its application makes it possible to analyze, with the use of scientific methods, also such phenomena as convergence and internationalization of the media

Purpose: The main purpose of the research was to analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the communication process with employees on the example of the Kaufland Polska branch located in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship. A complementary goal was to identify the most important managerial tasks and skills in this area. Design/methodology/approach: The article presents a theoretical approach to internal communication based on the literature, while the own research allowed for the analysis and evaluation of this process. The survey method was used, in which the research technique was used in the form of an interview according to the developed questionnaire. Findings: Communication between the manager and employees is two-way and there is feedback, both sides show commitment and show an open attitude to make the process effective. Employees assessed the current internal communication process and the functions performed by the manager in this process very positively, however, they are also able to notice shortcomings related to communication. Research limitations/implications: The study was conducted among all employees of only one branch of Kaufland Polska. An additional limitation was the epidemiological situation in Poland caused by covid-19, which made it impossible to apply an additional research method – a participant observation method that would enrich the results obtained in the main study. Practical implications: In order to improve the internal communication process, the manager should encourage employees to express their opinions and suggestions on topics related to their job position, team communication or observed problems. It is important that the manager cares about the quality and continuous improvement of the communication process and his own interpersonal skills, so that there are as few communication barriers as possible. Originality/value: The communication process should be tailored to the specificity of the organization. It is completely different in a small enterprise than in a large hypermarket chain, where there are teams of employees in various positions, working in shifts, often with customers present and under time pressure. The obtained research results made it possible to assess the current internal communication process, and the application of the formulated guidelines will certainly improve the communication process and increase employee involvement, and ultimately the quality of service and customer satisfaction.

Purpose: Due to the increasing importance attached to how corporations attempt to build their legitimacies, it is not to be avoided to gain insight whether strategies they can implement can be assessed as being fair from the point of view of stakeholders. Because the way in which organizations communicate with stakeholders can be considered as being one of the sources of corporate legitimacy special attention should be paid to the level of sincerity and fairness in messages send to stakeholders by corporations. When analyzing the process of communication from this point of view symbols and symbolic management may become relevant factors. The paper determines circumstances under which corporations can use or resign from using impression management techniques, which is believed to be related to how they perceive both sources of their power over stakeholder (be it legitimacy or other established way of rendering stakeholders’ judgment about those corporations) and the level of uncertainty related to their operations carried out within given sectoral environment. Design/methodology/approach: The work is based on literature studies and critical review of hitherto established ways of analyzing symbolic management and its possible impact on how corporations take part in communication process aimed at legitimacy building. Findings: Research propositions have been built based on analysis that reveals how organizational failures in carrying out activities related to indicated types of legitimacy are expected to impact on the probability of making use of impression management techniques. Research limitations/implications: Limited number of types of legitimacy has been taken into account. Practical implications: Because impression management techniques may lead companies to problems with building relationships with stakeholders, companies need to take care of when they could be more inclined to use those techniques. Then in spite of greater probability that those techniques may be implemented, companies may decide on more sincere communication. Originality/value: The approaches to problems related to impression management techniques should allow for showing that in addition to phenomena like legitimacy or reputation, those related to stigmatization and disapproval appear to be significant when analyzing corporate communication. The communication when being symbolic not necessarily should be disregarded.

The aim of the paper is to reconstruct the category of “information quality” and to attempt answering the question: how are employee’s attitudes towards organisational change related to the quality of information concerning that process in the context of enterprises’ competitiveness? The secondary data analysis method – covering theoretical literature and numerous empirical studies results – is applied to attain the above-mentioned research aims. The results of conducted analysis are presented in the following order. Firstly, the category of ‘information quality’ is conceptualised, the factors which influence the information quality are identified and the authors’ scheme for analysing the information quality is proposed. Secondly, the view on employees’ attitudes towards organisational change is presented. Thirdly, the conditions of the information transmission in the organisational change process are analysed. Further, conceptual remarks on the influence of information quality on attitudes towards organisational change are presented on the background of previous research results. Since the idea of incorporating the concept of information quality in the theoretical considerations and empirical models in the area of research on attitudes towards organisational change seems to be promising, the authors propose the directions of further research in the final part of the paper.

Albanian efforts to fulfill European standards and norm in its Public Administration and service delivery, are becoming a research argument for academics and practitioners as well. Even if significant efforts have been made in this direction there is still a gap in analyzing the link between the communication process which creates and delivers the public service, effect of the used tools in service provision and delivery, the performance evaluation of this sector and the future of the sector itself affected by the intersection of these factors. This brings a great necessity to watch very close those evolutions, processes and the impacts they have in the Albanian social tissue. At the same time, it is very important to understand what streamline has been followed till now by micro and macro huge progresses which have affected the systems, the relations between pairs which not necessarily are being expressed in standards. There is no sustainable change or improvement, if they aren’t built at the cellular level, and when we talk about the state, institutions and citizens, the way they relate, if it is standardized or not by laws or procedures, it becomes the most important reading that we must do to understand the substratum of those progresses. Relations, communications and the future of the communicative situations between citizens and public operators including the public administration during the public service proceedings, indicate the quality and sustainability of Albanian evolutions in social view, as well as the forecasting we can do regarding their impact in the future. Tools by which strategies have been applied, seems to affect the process as well as affect pairs perception of fairness, justice and low conformity. This oblige us investigate about effects and impacts they have had during the service proceedings. We may judge the transparence’s perception related to how much equal citizens consider they are being treated by public operators, what’s its influence in trust climate, notably on the citizens trust towards public administration, whose salaries are being paid by public and who theoretically must carry over public interest. We may, as well, investigate the impact that this variable has had in the new dimension of accountability which is a strong indicator of the evolution of public administrations in Albania, showing how the way public services are being delivered and how much the public itself is actually ruling through a careful reading of the communications hold between them and public administrations.

W swoim artykule autorka zwraca uwagę na znaczenie procesów komunikacyjnych podczas przeprowadzania tak skomplikowanych zmian organizacyjnych, jakimi są fuzje i przejęcia. Wychodząc od definicji pojęcia komunikacji, jej rodzajów i charakteru działania w ogólnym wymiarze przechodzi do pokazania jej znaczenia w życiu i funkcjonowaniu każdej organizacji. Szczególną uwagę poświęca komunikacji wewnętrznej, ze względu na jej miejsce w świadomości pracowników i rolę, jaką może pełnić podczas transakcji M&A. Autorka przytacza również wyniki badań, tak i swoje jak innych badaczy, które dowodzą, że komunikacja może odpowiadać za sukces firmy, która z różnych przyczyn przeprowadziła fuzję bądź przejęcie. Różnorodność metod i narzędzi, służących do przekazywania informacji w przedsiębiorstwie, pomaga z kolei w zbudowaniu spójnej i skutecznej polityki komunikacyjnej.
The author pays attention to the importance of communication processes during performing such complicated organizational changes as mergers and acquisitions. Starting from the definition of the concept of communication, the types and nature of the action in the general dimension she moves on to show its importance in the life and functioning of each organization. Particular attention is given to internal communication, because of its place in the minds of workers and the role it can play in M&A transactions. The author quotes the results of research, both her own and other researchers, which prove that the communication may be responsible for the success of the company, which for various reasons has carried out a merger or acquisition. The variety of methods and tools used for the transfer of information in the company helps, in turn, to build a coherent and effective communication policy.

State security management, like any organisation, requires not only the provision of appropriate forces and resources but also the proper transmission of information and messages. Only the ability to send and receive messages correctly ensures efficient implementation of assigned tasks, their understanding, and execution. For the process of managing them to proceed properly, it is essential to follow the rules of interpersonal communication. In this context, it is necessary to further define the elements of communication competence. They can be divided into five psychological and linguistic components. They are also determinants of proper communication (i.e. correct, appropriate, and at the same time effective). These include having a high level of communication awareness, presenting a high communication culture, active listening, using appropriate feedback, and avoiding communication barriers. The results of research on the communication competences of the surveyed students allow us to draw the conclusion that their level of communication awareness is too low, which is a quite a disturbing phenomenon, because it is the awareness of mistakes made or deficiencies and ignorance in the discussed area that is an essential element of improving communication competence. The multitude of aspects for which communication competences are of great importance is almost unlimited, and therefore emphasing the need for their guided development and improvement is a priority.

The purpose of this article is to present the issues related to the management process in the electronic communication of a small law firm. In the introduction, the role of information and knowledge in shaping the competitiveness of enterprises is presented. Then the phenomenon of electronic communication as a process of data transmission is shown, which on the one hand determines the competitive position of economic entities including law firms and legal counsellors, and on the other hand, it is the subject of legal regulations. Because the information provided by electronic means shall be subject to the professional secrecy of legal attorneys or solicitors, as the principle of confidentiality applicable to lawyers according to relevant legislation does not exempt these entities from the responsibility in terms of the protection of personal data. Another area raised in the article is to identify actions to protect information transmitted electronically. The last part of the study is to present the results of studies that show the extent to which we use e-mail, free applications such as Dropbox and Google Drive. Moreover the issues of the frequency of password changing and encryption of media as well as attacks on data owned by an office have been discussed. The whole content has been summarized with conclusions.

Niniejszy artykuł omawia zagadnienia związane z jakością oraz wartością informacji, a także relacje pomiędzy przepływem informacji a procesem komunikacji. Wskazane przez autorów różne definicje informacji, cechy wpływające na ich jakość oraz bezpośrednie zagrożenia dla procesu decyzyjnego pozwoliły na ukazanie istoty informacji. Potrzeba rzetelnej oceny jakości informacji w systemie jest wynikiem, nie tylko niedoceniania roli informacji, ale także ich nieprawidłowego zrozumienia czy interpretacji. Natomiast, jak uważają autorzy, znaczenie informacji w zapewnieniu sprawności całego systemu jest bezdyskusyjnie kluczowe.
This article discusses issues related to the quality and value of information, as well as relations between the flow of information and communication process. Indicated by the authors different definitions of information, features affecting their quality and direct threat to the decisionmaking process made it possible to present the substance of the information. The need for a reliable assessment of the quality of information in the system is a result, not only underestimate the role of information, but also their incorrect understanding or interpretation. However, as the authors believe, the importance of information in ensuring the efficiency of the entire system is unquestionably the key.

Seeing the Other in Paul Celan’s “Schliere im Auge” The following article aims to analyse the visual perception and the process of seeing, as presented in the poem Schliere im Auge (Ger. schlieren in the eye − optical inhomogenities in the transparent material of the eye). In his poem, Paul Celan articulates the Bewahrung function of poetry and transcendence, using terminology typical of metaphysics, medicine or phonetics. The poem features several of the many indicators of Celan’s hermetic poetry, which include: lexical conciseness, precise syntax, semantic variety, the dynamics of motion, the state of mind, cognitive ability, disturbed communication, the perception of the moment.

Artykuł przedstawia podstawowe koncepcje oraz praktyczne zastosowanie w edukacji modelu osobowości Process Communication Model® opracowanego przez amerykańskiego psychologa klinicznego dr Taibiego Kahlera (Pauley, J., Bradley, D., Pauley J., 2002, s. xxiii). Model wskazuje jak skutecznie komunikować się uwzględniając różne typy osobowości poprzez używanie kanałów komunikacji oraz daje klucz do rozpoznawania potrzeb psychologicznych i wynikających z nich indywidualnych motywacji właściwych dla typu bazowego osobowości oraz fazy, czyli aktualnie dominującego typu (Kahler, 2008, s. 45–81, 111–116). Przedstawiono również praktyczne wnioski z zastosowania modelu w obszarze edukacji w szkołach na terenie USA (Donlan, 2003, s. 8-49).
The purpose of this article is to present the basic concepts and practical application of the Process Communication Model® in the field of education. PCM® is a psychological personality model developed by the American clinical psychologist Dr. Taibi Kahler (Pauley, J., Bradley, D., Pauley J., 2002, p. xxiii). The model shows how to communicate effectively taking into account different personality types by using communication channels and gives the key to recognizing psychological needs and the resulting individual motivations specific to the base type of personality and phase, i.e. the currently dominant personality type (Kahler, 2008, pp. 45-81, 111–116). Also practical conclusions from the application of the model in the field of education in schools in the USA are presented (Donlan, 2003, pp. 48-49).

This article illustrates what Qt is. An example of the producer-consumer problem implementation in interprocess communication based on the shared memory is presented. Such solution can simplify the process of building interprocess application for those who want to write their programs using Qt in all possible aspects.

W artykule zaprezentowano rozwój koncepcji driverów Taibiego Kahlera (1975, s. 280–284) i wykazano jej użyteczność w edukacji. Na bazie pracy nad driverami rozwinął się koncept adaptacji osobowości (Joines, Stewart, 2002, s. 4–5) oraz Process Communication Model (Kahler, 2008, s. 1–30; Collignon, 2017, s. XV–XIX) – kompletny model Taibiego Kahlera pozwalający na ocenę osobowości. Model ten pokazuje, w jaki sposób efektywnie komunikować się z uczniami, zależnie od ich struktury osobowości. Pozwala na użycie właściwych drzwi kontaktu, umożliwiających zbudowanie porozumienia (Ware, 1983, s. 11–12, 18). Kluczowe jest rozpoznanie typu bazowego oraz fazy, tj. obecnie doświadczanego typu. Pozwala to na dobór najefektywniejszego kanału komunikacji oraz rozpoznanie kluczowych potrzeb psychologicznych i uwzględnienie ich w procesie nauczania i motywowania (Kahler, 2008, s. 45–81, 111–116; Collignon, 2017, s. 190–192).
The purpose of this article is to show the development of Taibi Kahler’s driver concept model (1975, pp. 280–284) and to demonstrate its usefulness. Research on drivers has provided the basis for developing the concept of personality adaptation (Joines, Stewart, 2002, pp. 4–5) and the Process Communication Model (Kahler, 2008, pp. 1–30; Collignon, 2017, pp. XV–XIX) – a complete model by Taibi Kahler, which allows for assessing personality. This model shows how to communicate with students effectively, in relation to their personality structure. It allows for using the right contact door to build a consensus (Ware, 1983, p. 11–12, 18). It is essential to recognize the type of Base and Phase, i.e. the currently experienced type, which allows for choosing the most effective communication channel, identifying the key psychological needs and including them in the process of teaching and motivating (Kahler, 2008, p. 45–81, 111–116; Collignon, 2017, p. 190–192).
