Opis:: Analysis of interaction IPi with TMi is made, types of modification of TMi, which are made under influence of IPi are researched. It’s shown that synthesis of IPi with TMi is made on different levels of abstract reflection of interacting components. This allows ensuring correct transformations which take place in TMi, during implementation of processes of synthesis IPi with TMi. Beside semantic parameters and their values imagination about priorities which characterize separate components of text models is introduced. Such extension allows better taking into account of semantic of separate text components during making processes of synthesis of IPi with TMi, which leads to increase of abilities of adequate description of social objects by means of text models.

Opis:: Artykuł przedstawia dane literaturowe dotyczące zastosowania stereologii oraz analizy obrazu do ilościowej oceny struktury materiałów budowlanych. Na wstępie opisano rozwój metod stereologicznych i technik komputerowej analizy obrazu w badaniach materiałów budowlanych. Następnie zdefiniowano ilościowe parametry struktury oraz przedstawiono sposób ich określania. W artykule zrelacjonowano dotychczasowe zastosowanie analizy obrazu do określania właściwości kompozytów cementowych, w tym: ocena porowatości stwardniałego betonu, określenie rozkładu kruszywa w matrycy cementowej, analiza spękań. Stwierdzono, że wiodącym problemem analizy obrazu jest proces przygotowania próbki w celu prawidłowej ekstrakcji badanej fazy oraz metodologia automatyzacji pomiarów.
The article presents the literature review about the application of stereology and image analysis for quantitative evaluation of the building materials structure. At the outset, the development of stereological methods and computer image analysis techniques in the study of building materials was provided. Then quantitative structure parameters were defined and their methods of determining were showed. In the paper, the application of image analysis for the determination of properties of the cement composites was reported, including: an assessment of the porosity of the hardened concrete, determination of the aggregate distribution in the cementitious matrix, the crack analysis. It was found that the leading problem of image analysis is the process of sample preparation in order to obtain the correct extraction of examinated phase, and measurement automation process.

Opis:: Moduł LDC 1000 [1, 2] jest przetwornikiem pomiarowym indukcyjnym produkcji Texas Instruments. W podstawowej wersji został zaprojektowany do pomiaru odległości od powierzchni materiałów przewodzących. Jego konstrukcja i oprogramowanie umożliwiają wiele innowacyjnych zastosowań. Zastosowania można przenieść na diagnostykę maszyn (pomiar skręcenia wałów napędowych, wykrywanie i pomiar niezrównoważenia mas wirujących), a także w obszar badań nieniszczących defektów ciągłości kształtu i struktury. W artykule opisano przykłady zastosowania w defektoskopii pęknięć, w pomiarze parametrów elektrycznych i magnetycznych oraz w pomiarze odległości od powierzchni materiałów przewodzących. Układ LDC 1000 jest dostępny od kilku lat na rynku. Obszar podstawowy jego zastosowania jest ciągle poszerzany [4, 5]. Jest też tematem prac doktorskich [7]. Przedstawione na wstępie zasady pomiaru unormowanych składowych impedancji są wstępem do opisu działania przetwornika LDC. Przetwornik LDC 1000 pracuje w obszarze rezonansu prądu: cewka indukcyjna – materiał badany. Spośród możliwości diagnostycznych układu zaprezentowano jego zastosowanie w wykrywaniu defektów. Przeprowadzono pomiar pęknięć, pomiar przewodności oraz pomiar odległości. Wartościami rejestrowanymi była lokalna indukcja obwodu. Pomiary prowadzono na wzorcach stosowanych w defektoskopii magneto-indukcyjnej. Wykonano badania na powtarzalność czasową pomiaru.
LDC 1000 module [1, 2] measurement tool is an inductive converter made by TI. It has been designed to measure distance from the surface of conducting materials. Its design and software make it possible to use the device in many innovative applications. The possible applications may be found in machine diagnostics (measurement of shaft torsions, detection and measurement of rotating masses’ unbalance) as well as in non-destructive testing (NDT) of continuity, shape and structure flaws. Examples of applying this converter to flaw crack detection, measurement of electrical and magnetic parameters and distance from the surface of conducting materials as a thickness of nonconductive layer, are described in the paper. LDC 1000 has been available commercially for a few years. Its basic scope of applications expands all the time [4, 5]. It has been the subject matter for some Ph.D. theses [7]. The principles for measuring normalized impedance components explained in the initial part of the paper are necessary for full description of converter’s operation. LDC 1000 converter operates in the current resonance region (resonance takes place between inductive coil and tested material). From among many diagnostic possibilities of the converter, we have chosen to present its application in flaw detection. Crack, conductivity and distance measurements have been carried out. Local circuit inductance has been recorded. Measurements have been conducted with standards flaw detection probe used. We have also investigated the time repeatability of measurements.

Opis:: In order to optimize the stope structure parameters in broken rock conditions, a novel method for the optimization of stope structure parameters is described. The method is based on the field investigation, laboratory tests and numerical simulation. The grey relational analysis (GRA) is applied to the optimization of the stope structure parameters in broken rock conditions with multiple performance characteristics. The influencing factors include stope height, pillar diameter, pillar spacing and pillar array pitch, the performance characteristics include maximum tensile strength, maximum compressive strength and ore recovery rate. The setting of influencing factors is accomplished using the four factors four levels Taguchi experiment design method, and 16 experiments are done by numerical simulation. Analysis of the grey relational grade indicates the first effect value of 0.219 is the pillar array pitch. In addition, the optimal stope structure parameters are as follows: the height of the stope is 3.5 m, the pillar diameter is 3.5 m, the pillar spacing is 3 m and the pillar array pitch is 5 m. In-situ measurement shows that all of the pillars can basically remain stable, ore recovery rate can be ensured to be more than 82%. This study indicates that the GRA method can efficiently applied to the optimization of stope structure parameters.
W pracy zaproponowano nową metodę optymalizacji parametrów struktury przodka wybierkowego prowadzonego w warunkach pękania skał. Metoda opiera się na badaniach terenowych, wykorzystuje także badania laboratoryjne oraz symulacje numeryczne. Do optymalizacji parametrów struktury przodka wybierkowego prowadzonego w warunkach pękania skał dla wielu wariantów charakterystyki górotworu wykorzystano ‘szarą’ analizę relacyjną (GRA – Grey Relational Analysis). Uwzględnione czynniki wpływu to wysokość przodka, średnica filarów, rozstaw filarów, rozmieszczenie filarów oraz charakterystyki górotworu: maksymalna wytrzymałość na rozciąganie oraz ściskanie oraz uzysk rudy. Ustawienia czynników wpływu dokonano z wykorzystaniem czterech czynników i dla czterech poziomów wg metody Taguchi planowania eksperymentów; ponadto 16 eksperymentów wykonano z wykorzystaniem symulacji numerycznych. Wyniki ‘szarej’ analiza relacyjnej wskazują, że wartość efektywna dla pierwszego z czynników, czyli rozmieszczenia filarów, wyniosła 0.219. Ponadto, otrzymano następujące optymalne parametry przodka: wysokość przodka 3.5 m; średnica filarów 3.5 m, rozstęp pomiędzy filarami 3 m, rozciągłość filarów 5 m. Pomiary przeprowadzone in situ wykazały, że wszystkie filary zasadniczo powinny zachować stabilność, a uzysk rudy przekroczyć może 82%. Wyniki wskazują, że ‘szara’ analiza relacyjna może być z powodzeniem wykorzystywana do optymalizacji parametrów struktury przodka wybierkowego.

Opis:: Paper presents results of studies on structural, electronic and magnetic properties of YFe₅ compound using density functional theory (DFT) approach. The GGA functional with ultrasoft pseudopotentials were used as implemented in Quantum Espresso software. The structure of YFe₅ compound was examined in three different states namely nonmagnetic, antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic. Also two antiferromagnetic configurations were considered. From the total energy viewpoint the most likely ferromagnetic configuration is favorable. In order to achieve mentioned aims we present projected density of states, electronic band structure and Löwdin population analysis studies results.

Opis:: The local value distributions of the effective contact potential difference (ECPD or the phi MS factor) over the gate area of Al-SiO2-Si structures were investigated for the first time. A modification of the photoelectric phi MS measurement method was developed, which allows determination of local values of this parameter in different parts of metaloxide-semiconductor (MOS) structures. It was found that the phi MS distribution was such, that its values were highest far away from the gate edge regions (e.g., in the middle of a square gate), lower in the vicinity of gate edges and still lower in the vicinity of gate corners. These results were confirmed by several independent photoelectric and electrical measurement methods. A model is proposed of this distribution in which the experimentally determined phi MS (x; y) distributions, found previously, are attributed to mechanical stress distributions in MOS structures. Model equations are derived and used to calculate phi MS (x; y) distributions for various structures. Results of these calculations remain in agreement with experimentally obtained distributions. Comparison of various characteristics calculated using the model with the results of photoelectric and electrical measurements of a wide range of Al-SiO2-Si structures support the validity of the model.

Opis:: Due to the great danger of the collision of oil tankers, lots of research on the collision of oil tankers has been carried out. But, at present, the research on the collision of oil tankers mainly focuses on the loading condition of the struck ship, ignores the impact on the loading condition of the striking ship. However, during the actual oil tanker collision, the striking ship is generally in the state of loading. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out the analysis of the impact of the loading condition of the striking ship on the collision damage of the oil tanker. In this paper, the effect of striking ship with loading on the impact performance of the side structure during the collision of the cargo double hull oil tanker has been investigated. The ship collision model was established by using the finite element software ANSYS/ LS-DYNA which is based on 7000 tons of double hull oil tankers. Based on the analysis of the collision force, impact of striking speed changes, impact of striking deep changes and structural energy absorption during the collision process, the influence of the striking ship with loading on the damage mechanism and the impact performance of the double shell oil ship side structure was expounded. The results show that the influence of the striking ship with loading can be great to the damage to side hull during the research of the collision performance of the oil tanker.

Opis:: The paper presents functional relationships between surface geometry parameters, feedrate and vibrations level in the radial direction of the workpiece. Time characteristics of the acceleration of cutting tool vibration registered during C45 steel and stainless steel machining for separate axes (X, Y, Z) were presented as a function of feedrate f. During the tests surface geometric accuracy assessment was performed and 3D surface roughness parameters were determined. The Sz parameter was selected for the analysis, which was then collated with RMS vibration acceleration and feedrate f. The Sz parameter indirectly provides information on peak to valley height and is characterised by high generalising potential i.e. it is highly correlated to other surface and volume parameters of surface roughness. Test results presented in this paper may constitute a valuable source of information considering the influence of vibrations on geometric accuracy of elements for engineers designing technological processes.

Opis:: Description of the research – The following paper analyses the methodology of economic sciences and hence has a meta scientific character. From the point of view of the general methodology of sciences, it is simultaneously descriptive and nomothetic and, in the light of the universal methods of inference, the deduction prevails in it. The inspiration to undertake meta scientific analysis was the controversy over the efficiency of the modern economy, strategy and economic policy as well as methodological incoherence and insufficient implementation effectiveness of economic sciences. Professional analysis of the research method of a specific area (field) cannot be limited to the creative invention itself, omitting both the subject and functionality of the theories created. And this is the nature of the attempts to undermine the efficiency paradigm of economic sciences. The problem is the methodological coherence (incoherence) of the economic sciences and, in a wider context, of the entire field of social sciences, consisting in the inability to conduct workshop research and leading to the multiplication of erroneous statements about the social process. In order to make the analysis more in-depth, two specific problems were identified: 1) the problem of the subject of economic research; and 2) the problem of coherence of the workshop economy, which often comes down to the unconscious crossing of the limits of economics.

Opis:: The paper describes the effect of cutting parameters and tool geometry on the surface quality after machining of an Al/CFRP (aluminium alloy/ Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastics) sandwich structure. A two-layer sandwich structure made of an EN AW 2024 aluminium alloy and Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastics (CFRP) was examined. The experiment used the process of peripheral milling. The experiment investigated the effects of cutting speed (vc), feed per blade (fz) and helix angle (λs) on surface quality as defined by differences in the height of materials. It was also analysed how the machining conditions described above affected the values of cutting force components. In the experimental stage of the study, uncoated, double-bit carbide mill cutters with working diameter Dc = 12mm and a variable helix angle (λs = 20˚, λs = 35˚, λs = 45˚) were used. The results have shown that cutting parameters and tool geometry do affect the surface quality and cutting forces after milling of the sandwich structure. The lowest material height difference was achieved when machining with the helix angle λs = 45˚, cutting speed vc = 300m/min and feed per blade fz = 0.08mm/blade. The highest material height difference occurred after machining under the following conditions: vc = 300m/min, fz = 0.08mm/min, λs = 20˚. The minimum cutting force value was obtained for cutting parameters: vc = 80m/min, fz = 0.08mm/blade during milling with the helix angle λs = 45˚. The maximum cutting force was recorded during machining with the helix angle λs = 20˚, cutting speed vc = 400m/min and feed per blade fz = 0.08 mm/blade.

Opis:: In this paper, a numerical code for predicting the hydrodynamic performance of vertical-axis tidal turbine array is developed. The effect of the tip speed ratio, solidity, and preset angle on the hydrodynamic performance are discussed using a series of calculations. The load principle of the rotor and the variation principle of the turbine power coefficient are studied. All these results can be considered as a reference for the design of vertical-axis tidal turbines.

Opis:: The present work is a part of the impact study of the tourist resort "Taghazout Bay" installation on the coast of Taghazout (North of the Agadir bay). The purpose of this study was to assess the initial state of the macrozoobenthic structure present in the intertidal sands at the three study stations over the 2016 and 2017 seasons. The biological approach was accompanied by the study of some physico-chemical parameters of the seawater (temperature, pH, salinity and dissolved oxygen) and the study of the sediment (grading structure, classification, and contents in organic matter). PCA analysis identified a perfect correlation between the physico-chemical parameters. The sediment contains three grading classes only (medium sand, fine sand, and very fine sand), very well classified with normal proportions of organic matter. The study of intertidal benthic macrofauna of the sandy substrate shows ten species and spatiotemporal variations with a clear dominance of the Donax trunculus bivalve species. The authors noticed – from the DIMO model – that the variation profile of the spring and summer (2016 and 2017) shows a community dynamics called "Diversity type". In winter and in autumn, they are known as the "Evenness type". The rank-frequency diagram explains that the benthic community of Taghazout sandy coast exists in the stage "Pioneer 1". The ascending hierarchical clustering gave three logical gatherings of seasons. The faunistic structure of this benthic community revealed the M>C>P shape. The authors also noticed that there is diversity in regimes in this ecosystem.

Opis:: Przedstawiono wyniki badań wpływu polimerycznego kondycjonowania osadów ściekowych na ich charakterystyki reologiczne, stopień odwodnienia w procesach: filtracji próżniowej i odwirowania oraz strukturę. Do badań eksperymentalnych użyto osadów przefermentowanych z komunalnej oczyszczalni ścieków. Osady kondycjonowano kationowymi polielektrolitami o różnej sile działania, dostępnymi na rynku krajowym: Praestol 644BC (słabo kationowy), Praestol 650BC (średnio kationowy) oraz Praestol 624BC (silnie kationowy). Dawki polielektrolitów dobrano na podstawie przeprowadzonego testu CSK. Badania wykazały, że otrzymane dla kondycjonowanych osadów krzywe płynięcia nie pokrywały się, dając pętlę histerezy, przy czym wyższe wartości naprężeń ścinających uzyskiwano dla rosnących gradientów prędkości (zakres 0 ÷ 100 s-1). Na podstawie uzyskanych pętli histerezy wyliczono wskaźniki tiksotropii badanych osadów. Z analizy wartości wskaźników tiksotropii wynika, że osady kondycjonowane polielektrolitami mają mniej stabilną strukturę niż osady niepreparowane. W osadach preparowanych chemicznie zachodzą większe zmiany w ich strukturze, tworzą się kłaczki, które pod wpływem przyłożonej siły ulegają rozbiciu. Równocześnie z badaniami reologicznymi prowadzono badania dotyczące stopnia odwadniania osadów. Najniższe wartości uwodnienia końcowego odnotowano podczas procesu filtracji próżniowej dla osadów kondycjonowanych polielektrolitem Praestol 624BC.
The paper presents the investigation results of sludge conditioning influence on the rheological characteristics, the degree of dewatering process and sludge structure. Tests were conducted on sludge from municipal wastewater treatment plant after fermentation process. Investigated sludge was conditioned with cationic polyelectrolytes of different strength potential. Three polyelectrolytes were used: Praestol 644BC (weakly cationic), Praestol 650BC (average cationic) and Praestol 624BC (strongly cationic). The doses of polyelectrolytes were chosen based on CST tests. The results of research have shown, that the rheological curves do not coincide giving a hysteresis loop. Higher values of shear stress gradients were obtained for increasing velocity (0 ÷ 100 s-1). Based on the hysteresis loops the thixotropy indicators were calculated. An analysis of these indicators show that conditioned sludge has a less stable structure that sludge that is unprepared. The conditioned sludge shows also a major changes in the structure. The clumps are formed and then broken by applied force. Simultaneously to rheological studies the research on the degree of sludge dewatering was conducted. The lowest values of final dewatering were recorded during the vacuum filtration process for sludges which were prepared with Praestol 624BC.

Opis:: W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienie negatywnego oddziaływania odkrywkowej eksploatacji piasku na sąsiednią nieruchomość. Eksploatacja piasku prowadzona w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie terenu kolejowego spowodowała rozwój procesów osuwiskowych, które objęły obszar nieczynnej linii kolejowej. Opisano litologię i strukturę osuwiska, określono przyczyny utraty stateczności oraz zaproponowano stateczną odbudowę zdegradowanego terenu. Na podstawie wykonanych badań kartograficznych i wiertniczych osuwisko określono jako rotacyjne, asekwentne i delapsywne. Głównymi przyczynami antropogenicznymi powstania osuwiska było przemieszczanie się skarpy kopalni piasku w kierunku terenu kolejowego oraz oddziaływanie zbiornika wodnego powstałego po eksploatacji piasku na podstawę skarpy. W ramach działań naprawczych zaproponowano rekonstrukcję obszaru osuwiskowego, która jest trudna do wykonania zwłaszcza na dużych obszarach oraz wiąże się z wysokimi kosztami. Odbudowę terenu, z uwagi na ochronę środowiska, krajobrazu i wód, powinno się wykonać z zastosowaniem gruntu miejscowego.
In the paper authors describe how exploitation of sand deposits in the outcrop exerts in the vicinity nearby. Excavation of sand deposits in the outcrop the railway track caused that rotary and detrusive landslide developed in the area of closed railway track. Lithology and structure of landslide, as well as some factors that implicated loss of slope stability were described. Geotechnical plan of slope stability as the result of rebuilding of damaged area was also presented. Rotary and detrusive landslide was described on the data distinquished by carthographical and drilling investigation. Rotary and detrusive landslide is the effect of loss of the slope stability caused by antropogenous activity such as: movements of the slope in the sand deposits outcrop towards the railway area as well as influence of water reservoir at the base of the slope that developed after exploitation of sand deposits had stopped. Reconstruction of landslide area was suggested however that is technicaly complexed at large territory as well as expensive. The process of rebuilding of destroyed area will be well proceeded if local deposits are applied.

Opis:: Hydrogeothermal conditions in the Busko area within Cenomanian, Jurassic and Devonian aquifers are evaluated. Particularly favourable geothermal conditions in this area result from good hydrogeological parameters of the Cenomanian sandstone and limestone at the bottom of Jurassic deposits. Currently, other aquifers in this area: Devonian, Carboniferous and Triassic are regarded as being of secondary importance for geothermal purposes. With regard to temperatures and water yield, the Cenomanian aquifer is especially designated for balneology and recreation. The downthrow side of dominant fault should guarantee temperatures of about 20–25°C, still, the large yield and application of the heat pump technology may render its use economically feasible. The curative valor of this aquifer is of crucial importance (content of iodine and bromine). The hydrogeothermal conditions of this region, at the current stage of recognition, do not allow confirmation of its usability for the heating purposes. Improvement of the current state of the conditions detection would have occurred provided the holes in this zone were reconstructed.
W pracy przeprowadzono analizę warunków hydrogeotermalnych rejonu Buska-Zdroju, typując zbiorniki cenomański, jurajski i dewoński jako potencjalne do wykorzystania w celach energetycznych i leczniczych. Szczególnie korzystne warunki geotermalne związane są z piaskowcowym zbiornikiem cenomańskim i spągową częścią wapiennego zbiornika górnej jury. Znaczenie pozostałych zbiorników wód podziemnych: dewońskiego, karbońskiego i triasowego, na obecnym etapie rozpoznania należy uznać za drugorzędne. Ze względu na temperatury, wydajności i skład chemiczny wód, zbiornik cenomański jest szczególnie predestynowany do wykorzystania w rekreacji i balneologii. W strefie regionalnej dyslokacji, po stronie skrzydła zrzuconego, wody te osiągają temperaturę 20–25°C, stąd przy dużych wydajnościach wód i zastosowaniu technologii pomp ciepła ich wykorzystanie będzie ekonomicznie uzasadnione. W aspekcie balneologii istotną cechą tych wód jest znacząca zawartość w nich jodu i bromu. Na obecnym etapie rozpoznania warunków hydrogeotermalnych nie można natomiast stwierdzić, czy możliwe jest wykorzystanie np. wód dewońskich do celów ciepłowniczych. Znaczna poprawa stanu rozpoznania tych warunków nastąpiłaby w przypadku rekonstrukcji otworów istniejących w tej strefie.
