    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki analizy zależności między wybranymi czynnikami pogodowymi a wielkością skupu oraz cenami pszenicy i żyta w Polsce. W badaniach wykorzystano test przyczynowości Grangera, który opiera się na modelach wektorowej autoregresji. Na podstawie oszacowanych, dla pierwszych przyrostów analizowanych zmiennych, modeli wykazano istnienie zależności pomiędzy czynnikami pogodowymi i wielkością skupu oraz brak tych związków między czynnikami pogodowymi a cenami zbóż w Polsce.
    The article presents the results of analysis of the relationship between selected climatic factors and the purchase of cereals and cereal prices in Poland. The study used the causality Granger test, which is based on the vector autoregression models. Based on the estimated models the author shows the relationships between weather and the quantity of purchase and a lack of such relationships between weather and the prices of cereals in Poland.

    Opis:
    Ceny detaliczne artykułów spożywczych w ostatnich miesiącach znacząco wzrosły. Według Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego ceny żywności w marcu 2011 roku były o ok. 5% wyższe niż przed rokiem. Istnieje wiele czynników mających wpływ na wzrost cen żywności, i tak np. ceny mięsa drożeją ze względu na wzrost cen trzody chlewnej czy bydła w skupie. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja, za pomocą testu przyczynowości Granger’a związków przyczynowych pomiędzy cenami wybranych produktów rolnych w skupie a cenami detalicznymi wybranych produktów żywnościowych.
    The retail prices of foodstuffs have increased a lot lately. According to the Central Statistic Office food prices in March 2011 were 5% higher than a year ago. There are a lot of factors influencing the food price increase, e.g. the prices of flour and bread are getting higher due to the increase of crops procurement prices. The prices of fruit are growing because of low amount of fruit in the home market. The aim of this article is to identify the causal relationships between some factors, e.g. the size of procurement, the agricultural prices and food prices.

    Opis:
    This article examines the link between logistics indicators and economic growth in Kazakhstan in the period 1995-2019. Factors and the causal relationship between the indicators of transport development and economic growth, using the models of total production, demand and vector error correction, are studied. The analysis established specifics of the relationship between indicators of various types of transport and economic growth and their mutual influence, both in terms of directions and the nature of the relationship. A bi-directional cause-and-effect relationship between railway transport infrastructure and economic growth has been identified according to the Granger test. It was found that in a small economy, road and sea transport in the long term will lead to a higher rate of economic growth, and vice versa, economic growth encourages the development of pipeline transport and this in turn, in a one-way direction, stimulates the development of all other types of transport. It was revealed that economic growth in Kazakhstan leads to an increase in demand for transport and logistics services and their infrastructure to a lesser extent than in countries with large economies. To improve the effectiveness of the economy, a differentiated approach to transport policy is recommended depending on the highlighted long-term relationship between the studied parameters. Our research indicates that conditions for road and sea transport in Kazakhstan should be improved to stimulate economic growth. The results of the study can be used as recommendations for developing a long-term transport policy.
