    The subject of the paper is the presentation of the flexible work-time organisation forms and the possibilities of using them in an enterprise. The article provides the definition of the flexibility and characteristics of particular forms of the flexible work-time organisation. The final part of the paper discusses the scope, conditions and development perspectives for the flexible work-time forms.

    Opis:
    The article is a case study of the use of snapshot observation to analyse the factors causing time losses at selected laser burner stations, and to propose changes that will increase the effective utilization of working time. The purpose of this paper is to determine the best and worst utilization of working time at the examined workplaces, analyse the amount of time lost and identify the causes of losses, and propose solutions that will improve the utilization of working time. According to the snapshot observation, procedure 2 main - work and non-work - time fractions and 10 detailed time fractions in the working day were distinguished, and their percentage share for the analysed workstations was calculated. Analyses of the working day time utilization depending on the type of machines, days of observation, single shifts were done and selected results were averaged. The paper indicates that organizational and technical aspects, as well as the employees' faults, were the main reasons for time losses. Research has shown that the generally examined group of workstations was characterized by a high utilization level of working time. An unfavourable phenomenon was the ratio of the main time to the auxiliary time, the high share of the maintenance time fraction of the workstations, and incorrect organization of the interoperation transport, low workers motivation, rush, and routine. It was found that further improvement of work efficiency and reduce time losses requires paying attention to the optimization of employees' working conditions, training, motivation systems, and implementation of lean concept tools and MES/CMMS solutions into production.

    Niniejsze opracowanie przybliża zagadnienia związane z funkcjonowaniem nowoczesnych przedsiębiorstw w kontekście gospodarowania czasem. Stwierdzono, że szczegółowe formułowanie celów, identyfikowanie oraz eliminowanie strat czasowych i prokrastynacji, stosowanie metod zarządzania czasem oraz stała kontrola umożliwiają efektywne gospodarowanie czasem. Dopełnienie opracowania stanowi nawiązanie do organizacji wysokich technologii, w których gospodarowanie czasem jest niezwykle ważnym i widocznym procesem.
    This study introduces issues related to the functioning of modern enterprises in the context of time management. In this article, basic problems related to time management have been raised. Specific goal setting, identification and elimination of time wastes, moreover procrastination, using methods related to time management and permanent control facilitate the effective use of time. A complement of the compilation constitutes reference to high-tech organizations, in which time management is remarkably crucial and apparent process.

    Kluczową sprawą w organizowaniu pracy własnej przez kierownika jest właściwe gospodarowanie czasem, aby go skutecznie rozplanować, zagospodarować i wykorzystać, należy dokładnie poznać swoje możliwości oraz cele, jakie chce się osiągnąć. Kierownik, planując pracę własną, powinien brać pod uwagę czynniki określające wydajną, racjonalną pracę umysłową oraz zasady gospodarowania funduszem czasu osobistego. Należy pamiętać, że efektywne wykorzystanie funduszu czasu osobistego zależy głównie od stylu i przyjętych metod pracy własnej. Planując swoje działanie, kierownik powinien więc uwzględnić podstawowe zasady oszczędnego gospodarowania czasem.
    While organizing own activities of a manager, appropriate time management is the key issue. Next step is to point out that one should thoroughly get to know one's capabilities and objectives to be achieved in order to effectively plan, manage and exploit time. Conducted researches show that high percentage of a manager's activities and time of their duration may be quite precisely planned. A lot depends on boss though. Most of them endeavour to comply with a principle of planned relations with subordinates and superiors. They carefully prepare decision (information) collected on the basis of own thoughts and ad hoc information.

    Artykuł poświęcony został problematyce zarządzania czasem pracy policjanta. Dobre gospodarowanie czasem przekłada się na lepszą organizację pracy i rozwój organizacji. Współczesne koncepcje i metody zarządzania czasem pracy w organizacji oraz odpowiednio dobrana koncepcja i metoda zarządzania czasem pracy w Policji może wpłynąć pozytywnie na skuteczność i realizacje celów statutowych oraz strategicznych. To z kolei może przynieść mierzalne oszczędności. Zwrócono również uwagę na problemy powstające w związku z interpretacją przepisów prawnych normujących czas służby policjantów, jak również na brak ustawowej definicji czasu służby.
    The article was devoted to the issue of time management officer. Good time management resulting in better organization of work and organizational development. Modern concepts and methods of time management in the organization and properly chosen concept and method of time management in the Police may improve efficiency and realization of statutory objectives and strategic. This in turn can produce measurable savings. Attention was also paid to the problems arising in connection with the interpretation of legal provisions regulating the time of service of police officers, as well as the lack of a statutory definition of duty.
