    Pakistan has been facing a high level of violence over the decades. Although a paucity of knowledge on this issue in Pakistan is observed, this essay nonetheless outlines the documented patterns of street-youth violence: its causes, perpetrators and the socio-cultural and political constructs of the phenomenon. The wide gap in both the empirical and theoretical knowledge of the ‘North and South’ of the intellectual global world impedes the researchers of the indigenous social problems to construct a comprehensive sociological perspective on the street-youth violence that exists in this region.
    W Pakistanie od dziesięcioleci odnotowuje się wysokie wskaźniki przemocy. Brak dostatecznej wiedzy na temat tego zjawiska w Pakistanie. Niemniej jednak niniejsze opracowanie stara się pokazać udokumentowane schematy przemocy ulicznej wśród młodych: jej przyczyny, sprawców a także konstrukty społeczno-kulturowe oraz polityczne tego zjawiska. Głęboki rozziew między wiedzą empiryczną i teoretyczną „Północy i Południa” w zglobalizowanym świecie intelektu stanowi dla badaczy miejscowych problemów społecznych przeszkodę w budowaniu kompleksowego socjologicznego spojrzenia na przemoc uliczną wśród młodych w tym regionie.

    W artykule zawarto przegląd badań dotyczących profilaktyki przemocy seksualnej wśród młodzieży. Szczególny nacisk położono na mity na temat zgwałceń (rape myths) i ich modyfikowanie na drodze edukacji. Przedstawiono również inne metody, w tym zweryfikowane empirycznie – np. bystander intervention, a także aspekty prawne profilaktyki przemocy seksualnej wśród młodzieży i działania podejmowane przez polskie organizacje pozarządowe w tej kwestii. Podkreślono rolę edukacji seksualnej w zapobieganiu przemocy seksualnej wśród młodzieży.
    The article contains a review of research on the prevention of sexual violence among young people. Particular emphasis was placed on myths about rape myths and their modification through education. Other methods were also presented, including empirically verified ones, e.g. bystander intervention, as well as legal aspects of the prevention of sexual violence among young people and actions taken by Polish NGOs in this matter. The role of sex education in preventing sexual violence among young people was emphasized.

    Social maladjustment and juvenile delinquency is currently a serious worldwide problem, which is of interest not only to researchers and theoreticians, but also to society. This is due to the constantly growing scale of this phenomenon. It is worth noting that a steady increase in the number of juvenile crimes has been observed in Poland since 1990. Researchers presume that this is related to dynamic civilizational development, urbanization and technological progress, among others. It would seem that everything about juvenile delinquency has already been established; however, effective methods to counteract it still remain to be found. We are increasingly experiencing unjustified cases of violence at school, home as well as in public places, and teenage gangs can be found in most major cities. Hundreds of thousands of young people become victims of serious neglect, sexual violence and physical abuse every year.

    Przemoc w rodzinie jest najbardziej dramatycznym, ale również powszechnym problemem społecznym. W stosunku do członków rodziny narusza ich wolność, godność, dobra osobiste i podstawowe prawo do zdrowia i życia. Przemoc w rodzinie ma olbrzymi wpływ na rozwój młodzieży w okresie adolescencji. Fizyczne i psychiczne krzywdy, jakich doświadcza młodzież krzywdzona, ujawniają się w różnej formie i obejmują wszystkie sfery jej życia. Pod wpływem niekorzystnych uwarunkowań rodzinnych występują zakłócenia funkcjonowania młodzieży w szkole i w społeczeństwie. Celem opracowania jest określenie wpływu przemocy w rodzinie na funkcjonowanie młodzieży w środowisku szkolnym i domowym. Przemoc jest bardzo drażliwym tematem, dlatego młodzież potrzebuje wsparcia ze strony każdej instytucji czy osoby, która podejmuje działania interwencyjne związane z zapewnieniem bezpieczeństwa osobom poszkodowanym przemocą oraz z łagodzeniem negatywnych skutków przemocy. Dla zapewnienia większego komfortu młodzieży doznającej przemocy domowej należy systematycznie przeprowadzać szkolenia i warsztaty dla pracowników szkół i instytucji oświatowych, świetlic i klubów środowiskowych oraz pracowników miejskich ośrodków pomocy społecznej na temat pracy z rodziną z problemem przemocy domowej.
    Violence in family is the most dramatic and the most frequent social problem. It violates freedom, personal interests and basic rights for health and life of family members. Violence in family has an enormous influence on the youth’s growing up in the period of adolescence. Both physical and mental harm that young people experience are disclosed in different forms and cover all spheres of life. Interference in functioning of young people both at school and in society appear under the influence of unfavorable family conditioning. The aim of the analysis is defining the influence of violence in family on functioning of youth at school and in domestic environment. Violence is a very sensitive topic, and because of this young people need support from every institution, a person who undertakes interventions related to ensuring safety to victims of violence and mitigating its negative effects. In order to ensure greater comfort for young people experiencing domestic violence, it is necessary to systematically carry out trainings and workshops for employees of schools and educational institutions, community centers and environmental clubs and for employees of municipal social welfare centers employees on working with the family with the problem of domestic violence.

    W podjętych badaniach postawiliśmy sobie za cel określenie podstawowych poziomów oddziaływań grupowych, które mogłyby prowadzić lub wręcz doprowadziły do ewentualnego wzrostu poczucia zagrożenia wśród łódzkiej młodzieży. Chcieliśmy także wskazać jakość funkcjonowania środowisk oddziałujących na proces kształtowania osobowości młodego człowieka. To świat ludzi dorosłych: rodziców, wychowawców, nauczycieli kształtuje te warunki, definiuje normy i reguły życia społecznego, nie zawsze jednoznaczne i spójne. Zatem, życie w owej niejednoznaczności może powodować (i zapewne powoduje) zagubienie normatywne, zaburzoną hierarchię wartości, co prowadzi niejednokrotnie do wzrostu zachowań agresywnych w życiu społecznym.
    In presented paper we analyse in detail family, peer environment, neighbourhood and school. We do it in search for flaws in system of values, in educational activities that lead to a significant increase of acts filled with aggression manifesting itself in number of ways. Violence always causes humiliation, tribulation, gives birth to hate, craves vengeance, and there is nothing into it that could argue In favour of its use. Violence is always a result of personal action, is usually intentional and, at its essence, is to violate law and goods of an individual what precludes self‑defence and causes damage. In research pre‑ sented we assumed that the source of violence is social environment of an individual, in particular: school, family and peers. In conducted research we aimed at determining basic levels of group influence that might eventually lead to increasing the sense of hazard among the youth of Łódź. We also intended to show quality of environments that influence the process of moulding young people’s personality. Results of this research allow us to conclude that the world of adults – parents, educators, teachers – defines norms and rules of social life that are not always explicit and coherent. Therefore life in such ambiguity causes normative disorientation, disturbed hierarchy of values that leads to increase of aggressive behaviour in social life.

    The article analyses the strategies for reducing the phenomena of domestic violence, focusing on the legal preventive measures. It highlights the historical aspects of the problem, by referring to the legal framework, in trying to overcome it. By introducing the causes and the nature of the domestic violence in Uzbekistan, leveraging into a theoretical, historical and legal analysis, social measures are weighted in relation to the domestic violence. The methodological approaches in the study of social processes of domestic violence are used meanwhile evaluating the social consequences of domestic violence, considering the correlation between the increased instability in the society and the level of social dissatisfaction of the population. The paper, by referring to the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On the Protection of Women from Oppression and Violence”, as well as to several other laws and regulations on regard, makes a review to the reforms and notebooks such as “iron notebook”, “youth” and “women”, where special attention is paid to the correlations between unemployment of youth and women and the phenomena of domestic violence.

    Pandemia COVID-19 spowodowała, że od 25 marca 2020 r. do końca roku szkolnego w ramach dystansowania społecznego w polskich szkołach po raz pierwszy prowadzono edukację zdalną. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badania, które miało na celu poznanie skali doświadczania przez młodzież różnego rodzaju krzywdzenia w tym okresie. Dodatkowo poruszono temat dobrostanu młodzieży, samopoczucia, zadowolenia z życia, wsparcia społecznego oraz podejmowania zachowań autodestrukcyjnych.
    As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, from March 25, 2020 to the end of the school year, as part of social distancing, distance education was conducted in Polish schools for the first time. The article presents the results of a study aimed at understanding the scale of experiencing various types of abuse by adolescents during this period. Additionally, the topic of youth well-being, life satisfaction, social support and self-destructive behavior was discussed.

    Pathological streaming is a form of livestreaming, which contains violence and vulgar or ob- scene materials. This kind of videos are very popular among Internet users, especially those who are underage. The article describes this phenomenon, the Polish authors of such content and the recipients of pathological livestreaming as well. It also presents a number of psycho- logical mechanisms responsible for transmission of subculture of violence rules. Pathological livestreaming is presented as a deviant norms popularizer and a serious threat to young people.
    Patostreaming to internetowa transmisja w czasie rzeczywistym treści o charakterze wulgarnym, obscenicznym i przemocowym. Tego typu nagrania cieszą się dużą popularnością wśród internautów, w szczególności przedstawicieli młodego pokolenia. Niniejszy artykuł opisuje rzeczone zjawisko, jego twórców w Polsce oraz odbiorców, a także mechanizmy psychologiczne, które sprzyjają transmisji wzorców podkultury przemocy. Ukazuje patostreaming jako źródło popularyzacji dewiacyjnych norm i zachowań oraz realne zagrożenie dla młodego odbiorcy materiałów publikowanych w internecie.

    Changes occurring in the modern world have a significant impact on the perception of a number of social phenomena that are studied by social pedagogy. One of them is violence in partnerships, which is associated with the stereotype of a man as the main perpetrator of violence. Stereotypes functioning in the consciousness of our community are often inconsistent with reality. Most people, however, have the conviction that they are true and unchangeable. This conviction led to the sole identification of the woman with the victim and the man with the perpetrator of violence. Most people are unaware of the existence of battered husband syndrome. The aim of the article is to analyze the phenomenon of female violence against men in the perception of academic youth. Research analyzes presented in the article focus on the assumption of changing the stereotype of man as the perpetrators of violence.
    Zmiany zachodzące we współczesnym świecie mają znaczący wpływ na postrzeganie szeregu zjawisk społecznych, które bada pedagogika społeczna. Jednym z nich jest przemoc w związkach partnerskich, z którym związany jest stereotyp mężczyzny jako głównego sprawcy przemocy. Funkcjonujące w świadomości naszej społeczności stereotypy są często niezgodne z rzeczywistością. Większość ludzi jednak posiada przeświadczenie, że są one prawdziwe i niezmienne. Owe przekonanie doprowadziło do wyłącznej identyfikacji kobiety z ofiarą, a mężczyzny ze sprawcą przemocy. Większość społeczeństwa nie ma świadomości występowania syndromu maltretowanego męża. Celem artykułu jest analiza zjawiska przemocy kobiet wobec mężczyzn w percepcji młodzieży akademickiej. Analizy badań zaprezentowane w artykule koncentrują się na założeniu zmiany stereotypu mężczyzny jako sprawcy przemocy.

    Gender-based violence is understood as violence motivated by gender stereotypes and prejudices resulting from normative expectations related to femininity and masculinity dominating in society and culture, and from unequal power relations between women and men. The aim of the article is to analyze the problem of gender-based violence in the context of its social and cultural sources, as well as ways to prevent it. The authors put forward a thesis that the main preventive measure is the education of children and youth to equality of women and men, both in public life and in the family, as well as the elimination of prejudices and unjust stereotypes related to gender from education.

    The text presents an interdisciplinary take on upbringing for empathy, based on a signature theoretical model. Adopting a so understood definition of empathy results in universal and multilevel interactions aimed at children and youth. The effects of these actions bring various benefits on an intrapersonal and interpersonal level – including reducing stress levels in children and strengthening personal and social resources that contribute to improving strategies of coping with stress and its negative effects. Empathy is also a proven method of preventing peer violence – a problem that is still present in Polish schools and leads to numerous health damages.
    W tekście zaprezentowano interdyscyplinarne ujęcie wychowania do empatii, oparte na autorskim modelu teoretycznym. Przyjęcie tak rozumianej definicji empatii skutkuje wszechstronnym i wielopoziomowym oddziaływaniem na dzieci i młodzież. Efekty tych działań przynoszą różnorodne korzyści na poziomie wewnątrzosobowym oraz interpersonalnym – w tym wpływają na redukcję poziomu stresu u dzieci oraz wzmocnienie zasobów osobowościowych i społecznych przyczyniających się do polepszenia strategii radzenia sobie ze stresem i jego negatywnymi skutkami. Empatia jest także sprawdzoną metodą profilaktyki dotyczącej przemocy rówieśniczej – ciągle aktualnego problemu w polskiej szkole, prowadzącego do licznych strat zdrowotnych.

    This article comprises a synthetic general review, presentation analysis and assessment of interpretation and efficiency of main legal sources of protection of children’s rights in international, European and Polish home law. As well as other problems of social and individual safety of children and youth, against of all forms of violence and abuse, social orphanage and other pathologies, aimed at building of a general common feelings of their safety in everyday life and activities. Authors present the two complementary spheres of organized institutional protection, prevention and intervention of children’s rights, based on the most important sources of law and asses their implementation and functioning in practice in Poland. The first sphere of the Polish model and system of protection of children’s rights, based on both legal and material guarantees and instruments, are public – state and territorial self-governing administration authorities, dedicated organs, institutions such as Ombudsman of children’s rights, regional and local centers of social care, safety and protection of family life and all forms of intervention in case of all forms of crises, violence and abuse of children and youth. The second complementary spheres of very dynamic manifold activities and social initiatives of various NGO’s and informal groups and individual persons, aiming at effective protection of children’s rights. These nongovernmental activities, both initiate, stimulate and control different forms of real prevention, protection, intervention and defense of children and their rights and counteracting all forms of social orphanage, violence and abuse in social relations with children and adolescents in different domains of our life, as well private and public. Their main aim is increasing of the feeling of safety of children and youth in Poland on the grounds of proper implementation and interpretation of respective legal regulations

    Opis:
    Shaping the attitudes of love in the church community in the light of the encycli- cal of John Paul II Evangelium vitae. Showing the important impact of the Church on the attitude of introducing specific intentions and deeds into the culture of life was the subject of the above reflection. The source was the teaching of John Paul II based on the Evangelium vitae encyclical and the Familiaris consortio adhortation. The Pope distinguishes in them aspects that indicate the ways of the formation of man and communities towards love. We can therefore focus on a family that can not live without love. Then, observing the contemporary world closely with the Holy Father, we see many times in the mass media, the promotion of bed human behaviors against people, however, the Pope shows the paths of healthy solutions. Follow- ing the thought of John Paul II, we look at the invaluable role of the Health Service. She, how eloquently and creatively touches, the weakest and the smallest, with merciful love. The Pope illustrates the role of the preaching of the Gospel of Life by spiritual per- sons, whose eloquent voice, God always wants to use. The last group, which has an impact on the spread of human love and culture of life is the international community and a mul- titude of politicians who exercise power, who, when they recognize the principles of social life: subsidiarity and solidarity, and the most, right to life of every human being, will serve the man well on earth and in eternity. Consideration of these contents is an opportunity to reflect on attitudes that are patronized by love and its Giver, God.
    Przedmiotem naszej refleksji było ukazanie oddziaływania Kościoła na kształtowanie kultury życia. Źródłem było nauczanie Jana Pawła II, zwłaszcza encyklika Evangelium vi- tae i adhortacja Familiaris consortio. Papież wskazuje drogi ku miłości w formacji człowieka i wspólnot. Rodzina nie może żyć bez miłości. Natomiast świat współczesny, zwłaszcza środki przekazu masowego, niejednokrotnie prezentują i upowszechniają zachowania ludzkie przeciwne człowiekowi. Papież ukazuje drogi rozwiązań, m.in. nieocenioną rolę służby zdrowia. Ona dotyka miłosierną miłością najsłabszych i najmniejszych. Papież podkreśla rolę przepowiadania Ewangelii życia przez osoby duchowne, których głosem chce zawsze posłużyć się Bóg. Wpływ na rozszerzanie się miłości ludzkiej i kultury życia ma wspólnota międzynarodowa, rzesza polityków i sprawujących władzę. Oni winni respektować zasady życia społecznego, zatem pomocniczości i solidarności, a nade wszystko prawo do życia każdego człowieka. Źródłem i Dawcą miłości jest Bóg.
