Opis:: In summary, it should be stated that in the period 1992-2017, dozens of priests with at least a doctoral degree were engaged in scientific and writing work in the entire of Ełk clergy. The work of the Ełk priests concerned mainly issues related to the history of the Church, canon law, philosophy, theology, Catholic social science and patrology. However, it is significant that priests who work on a daily basis in pastoral work can also be proud of the significant achievements in these areas, treating this activity as the implementation of their own research passion and fondness.

Opis:: Окрім п’ятдесяти восьми оповідань Василя Ткачука, зібраних його дочкою Ольгою Гоффманн із чотирьох опублікованих збірок оповідань і виданих нею одним томом під ідентичною із першою книжкою назвою Сині чічки (2013), дванадцять творів цього забутого новеліста залишаються абсолютно невідомими пересічному читачеві. Ретельний аналіз підтверджує, що більшість із них за своєю художньою майстерністю не відрізняються від творів, виданих за життя письменника в чотирьох прижиттєвих збірках, а потім зібраних в одному томі. Традиційні, часом стереотипні, оповідання та замальовки, як і видані у книжковій формі твори, дивують новаторськими рішеннями у сфері поетики та стилю. Використання багатого спектру стилістичних засобів і мовних прийомів призвело до того, що традиційні, по суті, розповіді про село 1920–1930-х років (за словами критика 1930-х років Михайла Рудницького, вони – „скромні образки з села, що хапають за серце своєю простотою і наївністю”) виявилися справжніми перлинами в новелістичній класиці рідного письменства. Тому, сміливо можна констатувати, що непубліковані твори Ткачука становлять певну тяглість і тематично-стильову єдність із книжковою спадщиною прозаїка.
Aside from 58 novels by Vasyl Tkachuk collected by his daughter, Olga Hoffman, from four published anthologies (Сині чічки, 1935; Золоті дзвінки, 1936; Зимова мельодія, 1938; Весна, 1940) and released by her in a single tome named Сині чічки (2013), twelve works by this forgotten novelist remain entirely unknown to most readers. In-depth analysis confirms that most of them don’t deviate in quality when compared to the works published in Tkachuk’s lifetime, in the aforementioned four anthologies. The novels may be traditional, sometimes even stereotypical in their themes, but at the same time, can surprise the reader when it comes to poetics and stylistics. Despite being conventional stories about village life set in the 1920s and 1930s (according to the 1930s critic Mykhailo Rudnytskyi, these were “humble rural pictures, touching to the core with their simplicity and primitivism”), the rich spectrum of stylistic and linguistic devices present there resulted in them being true gems of Ukrainian literature. Without a doubt, it can be said that these works maintain a form of continuity and thematic-stylistic unity with the anthologized legacy of Vasyl Tkachuk.
