The article discusses a detailed theoretical analysis of environmental social work, presenting the definition, methods and indications for the use of this method, as well as the conditions favorable to the use of environmental social work. The aim of this work is to present the environmental method of social work which relates to both social work and social work. But also for caring and supporting work for people who need support in the environment in the form of caring services.

Opis:
The objective of this study was to determine whether the 4 pieces of equipment for cutting moulding, cutting reinforcement rods, carrying carpet rolls, and fitting drain pipes can lighten the work load of construction work. The results indicate that the effect of using the new ergonomically designed equipment was positive. The cutter for reinforcement rods proved to be useful, bent back postures decreased by 11%. The carrying of carpet rolls became less loading on the lower and upper extremities. According to the men the work load was lower in fitting drain pipes, especially on the lower extremities and in the neck and shoulder region. The conclusion was reached that work load can be decreased with well-planned equipment, but more attention should be given to personal work methods and habits.

Opis:
The article discusses a concept of forecasting accident risk during longwall extraction in crump-risk conditions. In Polish mines rock burst hazard can be described as high compared to other mines around the world. It's related to increase of depth of longwall field operation, preparation works, including drilling of mine face pavements which leads to systematic deterioration of geological and mining conditions. Depletion of coal is also the reason why mines operate in high mining tremor risk conditions. Mines more and more often operate in decks, where there is large number of edges and remains of older decks. Rocks bursts still remain one of the most dangerous natural hazards and therefore are fundamental problem and have the greatest impact on safety in mining industry. The proposed method for forecasting accidents and losses in people and goods can contribute to improvement of work organization methods and mine safety management system.
W artykule zaprezentowano koncepcję przewidywania ryzyka wypadkowego w czasie prowadzenia eksploatacji ścianowej, w warunkach zagrożenia tąpnięciem. W polskich kopalniach zagrożenia tąpaniami można określić jako duże. Wynika to ze wzrostu głębokości eksploatowanych pól ścianowych i robót przygotowawczych, w tym drążenia przodków chodnikowych, co systematyczne pogarsza warunki geologiczno-górnicze. Wyczerpywanie się zasobów węgla to również powód prowadzenia eksploatacji w warunkach zagrożenia wstrząsami górniczymi. Kopalnie coraz częściej podejmują eksploatację pokładów, gdzie występuje duża liczba krawędzi i resztek pokładów. Tąpania należą ciągle do najbardziej niebezpiecznych zagrożeń naturalnych, są więc zasadniczym problemem i mają największy wpływ na bezpieczeństwo pracy w górnictwie. Zaproponowany sposób przewidywania możliwości wystąpienia tąpnięcia i wielkości strat ludzkich oraz strat rzeczowych może wpłynąć na doskonalenie metod organizowania pracy, a także na usprawnianie systemu zarządzania bezpieczeństwem kopalni.

The aim of the article is to outline the specifics of places and spaces – refugee camps and centers, where children constitute the majority. Through reference to activities implemented there and oriented towards children, we discuss their problematic character connected with e.g. the absence of participatory, rights-based approach (art. 12 CRC) that serves children’s emancipation and equality. In the second part of the article, we propose the implementation of Janusz Korczak’s methods – solutions for participatory work with children (“underprivileged” groups), which seem both timeless and universal. An ethical and contextual adaptation or inspiration based on Korczak’s methods in work designed for backgrounds connected with children remaining in closed and semi-closed systems, provides a chance for children’s basic participation in decision-making in matters that concern their lives. At the same time, it is an opportunity to learn children’s opinions and an expression of respect for the child as a per-son who functions here and now, in the place and space of his or her temporary stay – a refugee camp, where an international protection system for children and adults is far from effective.

The Act of 4 February 2011 on care for children under the age of 3, states that nurseries are to provide children with care, upbringing and education. Still no curriculum has been established for this sector of educare, no regulations specify what types of experiences should be provided to the youngest children. This paper presents the results of the diagnostic research on the role of music, one of the potential educational areas in the nursery curriculum, in the day-to-day practice of the Public Crèche Network in Łódź settings. By employing the mix of methods: field notes, observations and questionnaires researchers tried to answer the following questions: How, in practice the music activities look like?, How often and what kind of music activities are organized?, Are there any activities conducted by external specialists? The article is the starting point for the discussion on the role of music education in the provision for children under the age of 3 in Poland, and training programs for caregivers.

The notion of a method is not identical with the notion of model of social work, although different models assume different methods of work. Many models of social work have been created. One can mention, for example, the psychosocial model (based on the assumption that the cause of the problems of an individual are unconscious, unrealized conflicts and unfulfilled, subconscious needs; the solution of the problems is sought through an analysis of events and experiences from the past), problemic, structural, model of modification of behaviours; group therapy, resocialization model, crisis model etc. Thus, in the functional model, one puts the emphasis on building the relation with the ward, maximal use of the time given and avoiding diagnostic categories as useless in social work. The problem-oriented model bases on the assumption that problems are an inevitable element of life, their solution is sought through analysing present factors, the main emphasis is put on the ward's involvement in the solving of the problem, the task of the social worker is determining the ward's subjective attitude to the problem and motivating him to action. The structural model is based on the assuption that the individual's problems are the effect of a definite social structure and they do not result from personal neglect, and the basis of help is support for the client and his immediate social environment. The model of behaviour modification, based on psychological behaviourism, assumes that through employing knowledge about the mechanisms of learning one can change attitudes and the way the individual reacts49. It is worth mentioning also models which integrate social work with individuals, groups and communities. An example of such a model is the systemic model, in the frames of which one can differentiate several variants, e. g. ecological, life model, competence model). In the systemic model one emphasizes the improvement of relations between the ward and his or her social environment through seeking a system of social support, rejecting the view that the ward's situation can be improved through actions directed exclusively onto him or her or their environment methods.

Niniejszy artykuł zawiera raport z badań pilotażowych przeprowadzonych wśród nauczycieli, pedagogów, pedagogów specjalnych, psychologów i terapeutów na temat ich opinii o pracy z dziećmi, młodzieżą i dorosłymi z niepełnosprawnościami różnego typu. W badaniach wstępnych wzięło udział 25 osób z terenu miasta Siedlce, pracujących zarówno w placówkach typu ogólnego, specjalnego, jak i integracyjnego. Respondenci wykazują się dużą różnorodnością metod wykorzystywanych w codziennej pracy zawodowej. Wskazują na konieczność współpracy z rodzicami/rodzinami swoich podopiecznych, doceniając jednocześnie praktyczny wymiar edukacji inkluzyjnej.
This article contains a report on pilot studies directed to teachers, pedagogues, special educators, psychologists and therapists about their opinions about working with children, youth and adults with various types of disabilities. In a preliminary study with 25 participants from the area of Siedlce, working in both branches of the general type, special and inclusive. Respondents show a great diversity of methods used in their daily work. They point to the importance of cooperation with parents / families, their wards at the same time appreciating the practical dimension of inclusive education

Konstruktywizm stosowany w pracy nauczyciela daje dziecku możliwość odkrywania własnych pokładów wiedzy i zmiany poglądów na nowe. Wprowadzanie nurtu konstruktywistycznego w pracę nauczyciela dziecka ze specjalnymi potrzebami edukacyjnymi to trudne zadanie, szczególnie w przypadku dzieci z niepełnosprawnościami sensorycznymi. Wielu pedagogów specjalnych, w tym surdopedagogów, podejmuje model konstruktywistycznego przekazywania wiedzy. Poszukiwanie metod i opracowywanie programów nauczania w taki sposób, aby były jak najbardziej bliskie dziecku z niepełnosprawnością słuchu i dawały możliwości odkrywania wiedzy, zaburzyła epidemia COVID-19. Zdrowie i życie ludzkie stało się determinantem nowych form kształcenia. Edukację przeniesiono ze szkół i placówek do Internetu, tworząc zdalną formę przekazywania wiedzy. Ta nowa sytuacja, przez nikogo nieprzewidziana, na całym świecie zaburzyła życie codzienne na wszystkich płaszczyznach: osobistej, rodzinnej, zawodowej, gospodarczej i edukacyjnej. W zaplanowaną metodyczną pracę nauczyciela i ucznia wkradł się chaos spowodowany nieznanym. Nauczyciele i uczniowie, w tym również uczniowie ze specjalnymi potrzebami edukacyjnymi, znaleźli się w sytuacji pracy opartej na technologii ACT. Nauczyciele – specjaliści kształcenia specjalnego, którzy niestrudzenie dbają o efekty kształcenia, z trudem przechodzą przez zdalną pracę z uczniem o specjalnych potrzebach edukacyjnych, a ich dotychczasowe metody pracy często nie mogą znaleźć zastosowania. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie surdopedagoga i surdopedagoga-konstruktywisty na ścieżkach zdalnego nauczania, podczas którego doskonalili oni swoje umiejętności dydaktyczne.
Constructivism in a teacher’s work gives his pupils the ability to explore their own layers of knowledge and allows to change their views on new, self-constructed knowledge. The implementation of the constructivist method in the work of a teacher educating pupils with special educational needs is a challenging task, specifically in the case of children with sensory impairment. Many special educators, including those in the deaf education field are choosing the constructivist method of transferring knowledge. The search of methods and development of educational programs in a way that they are close to the child with hearing impairment and provide possibilities of knowledge exploring has been greatly disturbed by the COVID-19 pandemic. People’s health and lives have become a new determinant of new forms of education. Avoiding a virus infection from one another has moved the education from schools and educational facilities to the internet, thus creating a new remote form of knowledge sharing. This situation has not been predicted by anyone before. It created a disorder of everyday life on its every dimension: private, family, professional, economic and educational. Chaos appeared in the once planned and methodical work of a teacher and his pupils. Tutors and their pupils, including those with special educational needs found themselves in the situation that required working with the use of ICT technology. The teachers and special education specialists, tirelessly caring for the best education effects, are now going through the difficult remote education process along with their pupils with special educational needs. The previously used methods of work cannot be used any longer. The aim of the article is to show the specificity of professional activity of a surdopedagog and surdopedagog-constructivist during distance learning, while improving their teaching skills in this mode of education.

Introduction. A sedentary lifestyle with lack of physical activity contributes to deteriorated balance among healthy young people. Physical activity is import_ant since it stimulates neuromuscular junctions that control body posture, especially at younger age, when greater postural sway may be observed in stabilography compared to adults. Proper work of individual muscle groups is import_ant to maintain proper balance. Abnormal muscle tone can lead to dysbalances that make it difficult o maintain a stable posture in a variety of conditions. Aim. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of a training cycle consisting of stretching of the ilopsoas, rectus femoris, gluteus maximus, hamstring and rectus abdominis, and eccentric training of the above mentioned muscles to improve static and dynamic balance. Methods. Oobjective and qualitative-subjective were used to assess the results in a man aged 22 yrs. Postural control was tested twice in the patient with the Neurocom International Inc. SMART EquiTest device under static conditions without visual control and with dynamic visual surrounding and unstable support surface. Automatic postural reflexes were also evaluated. In addition, clinical tests were performed. Results. Myo-fascial training, which included eccentric training combined with lower limb and trunk stretching improved the postural control in the subject.

W polskiej pracy socjalnej od kilkunastu lat pojawiają się rozmaite podejścia metodyczne, odwołujące się do sprawdzonych w innych krajach doświadczeń, takie między innymi jak Podejście Skoncentrowane na Rozwiązaniach (PSR), Konferencja Grupy Rodziny (KGR), Dialog Motywujący (DM), Wideotrening Komunikacji (VIT), superwizja, coaching czy organizacja społeczności lokalnej (OSL). To, co wyróżnia je na tle dotychczasowej charakterystyki działań metodycznych w pracy socjalnej to stawanie w opozycji wobec dominującego w Polsce modelu nastawionego na rozwiązywanie problemów (problem-oriented model) i rozwijanie rozpoznawalnego powszechnie modelu nastawionego na rozwiązania (solution-oriented model). Celem prezentowanego artykułu jest przedstawienie wstępnej koncepcji nowego podejścia metodycznego – Pozytywnej Pracy Socjalnej (PPS) – jej założeń, określenie teoretycznych odwołań oraz scharakteryzowanie swoistej „mapy drogowej” dla rozwoju tego podejścia w metodyce pomagania.
Various methodological approaches have been appearing in Polish social work for several years, referring to experiences proven in other countries, such as the Solution Focused Approach, Family Group Conference, Motivating Dialogue, Video Interaction Training (VIT), supervision, coaching or community organization/development. What distinguishes them from the current characteristics of methodological activities is opposition to the problem-oriented model dominating social work in Poland and developing a commonly recognizable solution-oriented model. The aim of this article is to present a preliminary concept of a new methodological approach – Positive Social Work (PSW) – its assumptions, to define theoretical references and to characterize a specific “road map” for the development of this approach to the helping methodology.
