Odpowiedź na te pytania wymaga wyjaśnienia źródeł, istoty i następstw zarówno tradycyjnie znanego „blasku” filozofii w trakcie jej ewolucji, jak i nieuchwytnego i nie uświadomionego jeszcze zjawiska jej „nędzy”.
The author reflects the crisis situation of philosophical knowledge answering the following questions: why philosophy is no longer needed and what should be done to save it from this crisis? The answers require learning the sources, being and consequences of its traditionally known “shine” throughout its evolution as well as its subtle “poverty”.

Artykuł zajmuje się biblijnym wyrażeniem „duch mądrości” (por. Mdr 7,7) i bada jego relację do osoby Ducha Świętego, ostatecznie objawionego w Nowym Testamencie. Po krótkiej prezentacji relacji między duchem a mądrością w Starym Testamencie zostaną przeanalizowane niektóre aspekty działania mądrości na podstawie tekstów z Mdr 7-9, które będą następnie zestawione z wybranymi fragmentami z Nowego Testamentu, ukazującymi działanie Ducha Świętego. Artykuł prezentuje analogie i podobieństwa w działaniu tych dwóch rzeczywistości. Zarówno mądrość, jak i Duch Święty są ukazywani jako duchowy dar, który kieruje wyborami człowieka. Podkreśla się aspekt ich ciągłej obecności w życiu wierzącego, a także ścisły związek z radością i osiągnięciem życiowego spełnienia. Te analogie wydają się wynikać z duchowej natury obu rzeczywistości, pochodzenia z tego samego źródła – od Boga – oraz z kontekstu historycznego, w którym powstają – Księga Mądrości oraz teksty nowotestamentowe.
The presented article deals with the biblical expression “spirit of Wisdom” (cf. Wis 7:7) and examines its relation to the figure of The Holy Spirit as revealed definitively in the New Testament. After a short presentation of the relation between spirit and wisdom in the Old Testament, we analyze some aspects of wisdom’s activity, based on the text of Wis 7-9, and then compare those characteristics with selected passages from the New Testament, showing the activity of the Holy Spirit. The article presents some analogies and similarities between these two realities, wisdom and the Holy Spirit. Both are depicted as a spiritual gift which guides people’s choices. The aspect of continuous presence is underlined, as well as the connection with joy and fulfillment of human life. These similarities seem to derive from the spiritual nature of both realities, their coming from the same source – from God, and from the historical contexts in which the book of Wisdom and the New Testament books were written.

L’articolo analizza il tema della morte nel libro della Sapienza, con particolare attenzione al rapporto tra la Sapienza stessa e la morte. Dopo un’introduzione generale, al tema della morte e ai problemi relativi al concetto di "seconda morte", l’autore analizza la metafora sponsale, che occupa un posto importante nella seconda parte del libro. Si procede con  l’analisi del vocabolario e delle immagini relative alla metafora sponsale. Cercando una possibile contro-metafora sponsale, si indica Sap 1,16, dove il rapporto degli empi con la morte viene descritto come tragica negazione degli ideali presentati in Sap 8,16.17-18. Vengono indicati elementi che collegano i due passaggi analizzati e le diametrali differenze. Lo Pseudo-Salomone sottolinea, da un lato, la bellezza del rapporto con la Sapienza e il dramma degli empi dall’altro, per giungere alla conclusione che gli empi, cercando di entrare in un rapporto amichevole con la morte, ottengono esattamente il contrario di ciò che riceve il saggio, nella II parte del libro.
The article analyzes the theme of death in the book of Wisdom, with particular attention to the relationship between Wisdom and death. After a general introduction to the theme of death and the concept of “second death”, the author analyzes the marriage metaphor, which occupies an important place in the second part of the book. The author proceeds with the analysis of vocabulary and images related to the marriage metaphor. Searching for a possible counter-metaphor, he indicates the image from Wis 1,16, where the relation of the wicked with death is described as a tragic denial of the ideals presented in Wis 8,16,17-18. The elements that link the two images and at the same time make them totally different are indicated. Pseudo-Solomon emphasizes the beauty of the relationship with Wisdom on the one hand and the drama of the sinners on the other, to conclude that the wicked, seeking to enter into a friendly relationship with death, get exactly the opposite of what the sage receives from the Wisdom in the II part of the Book of Wisdom.

Artykuł analizuje kwestię cierpienia człowieka sprawiedliwego w I części Księgi Mądrości. Problem ten, traktowany często przez egzegetów jako smutna rzeczywistość dotykająca sprawiedliwego, przy uważnej analizie okazuje się być pozorny. Analiza tekstów pokazuje, że autor intencjonalnie unika łączenia cierpienia z życiem sprawiedliwego i chce podkreślić, że pobożne życie, praktykowanie cnót oraz Boża opieka bronią sprawiedliwego przed doświadczeniem cierpienia. Jedyny przypadek cierpienia człowieka sprawiedliwego (Mdr 8,9) jest, w ujęciu autora, skutkiem błędów, od których nie są wolni nawet mędrcy. To cierpienie może zostać usunięte poprzez wcielanie w życie pouczeń mądrości, która objawia się nie jako pocieszycielka, ale jako ta, która przestrzega i poucza. Autor artykułu sugeruje też wpływ myśli stoickiej na obraz sprawiedliwego, który jest sportretowany jako prawdziwy mędrzec, żyjący cnotliwie i w konsekwencji wolny od cierpienia.
The article analyzes the issue of the suffering of a righteous man in the part I of the Book of Wisdom. It is often treated by the exegetes as a sad reality that affects the just, yet after a careful analysis it turns out to be apparent. The text’s analysis shows that the author intentionally avoids joining suffering with life of the just, and emphasizes that a pious, virtuous life and divine providence defends the just against suffering. The only case of suffering experienced by the just (Wis 8,9) is considered as the result of mistakes of which there is no one to be free, even a sage. Suffering can be removed by enacting the instruction of wisdom, which reveals herself not as a comforter but as the one who respects and teaches. The article also suggests the influence of the stoic thoughts which portrays the just as a true sage who lives virtuously and consequently, does not suffer.

Artykuł analizuje znaczenie oraz symboliczny sens światła w Księdze Mądrości. Mądrość opisywana w Mdr 6,10 jest interpretowana nie jako cenniejsza od światła, ale jako światło, które jest przewodnikiem dla mędrca oraz symbolem Bożej mądrości. Szukając tekstów, które byłyby pomocne w głębszym zrozumieniu znaczenia światła, autor artykułu odsyła do Mdr 18,1-4, gdzie podkreśla się szczególne znaczenie światła oraz jego głęboki związek z prawem Mojżeszowym. To objawione prawo jest przedstawiane jako światło mądrości Bożej, które będzie przekazane innym narodom. Centralna pozycja tego tekstu w strukturze końcowej części księgi (Mdr 16–19) podkreśla znaczenie światła prawa. Jednocześnie zostaje wyeksponowana jego niezniszczalna, niezmienna natura, która czyni to prawo fundamentem życia religijnego.
In the present article, the author analyzes the meaning and symbolic sense of light in the Book of Wisdom. The Wisdom in Wis 7:10 is interpreted not as superior to light but rather as a light which is a guide for the sage and a symbol of the wisdom of God. In pursuit of a deeper comprehension of this text, the author points to Wis 18,1-4 as important in developing the sense of light, and in particular the strong connection between light and the Jewish Law–the supreme light of wisdom that God gave to all the nations. The central position of these verses within the unit of Wis 16–19 points out the absolute importance of the Law, which is described as a true light. At the same time, the writer of the Book of Wisdom emphasizes the importance of the Law as imperishable and unchangeable, a cornerstone of religious life.

The article proposes a new translation and interpretation of the messianic prophecy in Isa. 55:1-7, whose vv. 3-5 are thoroughly analyzed. The analysis includes not only the meaning of the individual words, but also the syntactic situation of the whole sentences. It was taken into account the problem of the historical context in which Deutero-Isaiah lived, worked and preached his message. This survey is designed to obtain a better understanding of the periscope, a more consistent translation and structure of the whole passage. The study undertakes an inquiry into the question of whether the eternal covenant in Isa. 55:1-7 is the continuation of the Sinaitic Covenant, or rather does its content go beyond the Mosaic Law, creating a totally new relationship of God with Israel. The study also draws attention to the existence of a redactional addition, which shifts the weight of the original message from a revanchist Judeocentrism toward the irenic ethnocentrism typical of the Book of Jonah.

Opis:
St. Ambrose’s letters are a unique example of bishop’s concern for pastoral, social and political issues relating to the city, the diocese, the Empire and the Church. They have been a special way of his pastoral influence and work. He included in them a number of moral, legal and dogmatic instructions, among which he described a model of the Christian sage. It was based on the statements of the Stoic philosophy, but finally the Christian character arising from Scripture, and especially from the teaching of St. Paul the Apostle, was added to Ambrose’s model of a sage. According to Ambrose, the basic feature of the sage is freedom, but it also provides a number of other features – such as submission to God, love for the neighbours, the spirit of repentance, knowledge of God’s Law – which constitute the perfect sage, and ultimately – the perfect Christian.

Baltasar Gracián’s views revolved around the motivation of moral axiology in reference to the cognitive knowledge of reason and the practical knowledge of reason, by which individuals achieve effective results. He believed that knowledge of motivation, strategies and tactics for successful goal achievement should be imparted in education, while wisdom is expressed by effective long-term and permanent results of reasonable actions. Behavioral strategies motivated by moral axiology result in increased human spiritual and material well-being in society, and education in this area contributes to knowledge spread and moral progress. Temporal wisdom is both life wisdom and worldly wisdom; the former belongs to the human nature of life and is a driving force behind the creation of a better human world.

In 1626–1627 Francisco Herrera the Older, back then Seville’s most renowned painter, decorated the walls of the local Franciscan St. Bonaventure’s church with a number of wall paintings dedicated to Franciscan history and spirituality, complemented with emblems related to theological works of the temple’s patron-saint. The paintings became the basis of an interesting iconographic programme with a strong theological and pedagogical message, due to the presence of young monks educated in the monastery, attributed to two notable Friars Minor: Luis de Rebolledo and Damián de Lugones. The collection, based on the works by St. Bonaventure, presented first and foremost the path to sanctity by acquiring wisdom: from philosophical knowledge through theology to mystic contemplation, in which we learn about and unite with God.
W latach 1626–1627 Francisco de Herrera St., najpopularniejszy wówczas malarz działający w Sewilli, pokrył ściany tamtejszego kościoła Franciszkanów pw. św. Bonawentury zbiorem malowideł poświęconych historii i duchowości franciszkańskiej, dopełnionych emblematami odnoszącymi się do twórczości teologicznej patrona świątyni. Malowidła te stanowiły podstawę ciekawego programu ikonograficznego o silnej wymowie teologiczno-pedagogicznej, ze względu na kształcących się w tamtejszym klasztorze młodych zakonników, a wiązanego z nazwiskami dwóch wybitnych Braci Mniejszych: Luisa de Rebolledo i Damiána de Lugones. Zbiór ten, bazując na pismach św. Bonawentury, ukazywał przede wszystkim drogę do świętości, wiodącą poprzez zdobywanie mądrości: od wiedzy filozoficznej, poprzez teologię, aż po kontemplację mistyczną, w której poznajemy Boga i jednoczymy się z Nim.

A literature search indicates that Data, Information and Knowledge continue to be placed into a hierarchical construct where it is considered that information is more valuable than data and that information can be processed into becoming precious knowledge. Wisdom continues to be added to the model to further confuse the issue. This model constrains our ability to think more logically about how and why we develop knowledge management systems to support and enhance knowledge-intensive processes, tasks or projects. This paper seeks to summarise development of the Data-Information-Knowledge-Wisdom hierarchy, explore the extensive criticism of it and present a more logical (and accurate) construct for the elements of intellectual capital when developing and managing Knowledge Management Systems.
