Opis:: RESEARCH OBJECTIVE: The research objective of this paper is to analyze the profile and selected content of the Catholic portal deon.pl in the context of quality journalism. THE RESEARCH PROBLEMS AND METHODS: The main research problem is to determine the facts related to the genesis, profile and content of the messages of one of the most popular Catholic portals in Poland. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: The first part of the paper reviews the literature in the field of broadly defined criteria of quality journalism. Then, the profile of the deon.pl portal was presented, and in the following sections, the analysis of the content of the Deon FB profile and the deon.pl portal. RESEARCH RESULTS: All these materials were analyzed according to their subject matter, the nature of the message, the number of likes, political overtones and the program line of the portal. The titles of the deon.pl Facebook account reflect two thematic lines: the theme of the war in Ukraine and the theme of preparations for Easter. At deon.pl, an analysis of the texts in the tabs of the information and opinion sections was carried out. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Quality journalism is on the one hand “journalism of values” and on the other “professional journalism”. Manifestations of such journalism are visible in deon.pl. The Jesuit portal should be considered a manifestation of journalistic quality in Poland due to the clear values professed, and at the same time, transmitted by the editorial staff, as well as professionalism of work in accordance with accepted journalistic rules and high ethical standards, visible in the unambiguous separation of information from opinion. Deon.pl is an example of a Catholic portal with a successful attempt to combine tradition and journalistic news against the fake news tendencies.
CEL NAUKOWY: Celem badawczym artykułu jest przeprowadzenie analizy profilu i wybranych treści katolickiego portalu deon.pl w kontekście dziennikarstwa jakościowego. PROBLEM I METODY BADAWCZE: Głównym problemem badawczym jest ustalenie faktografii związanej z genezą, profilem i zawartością przekazów jednego z najbardziej popularnych portali katolickich w Polsce. PROCES WYWODU: W pierwszej części artykułu dokonano przeglądu literatury w zakresie szeroko pojętych kryteriów dziennikarstwa jakościowego. Następnie przedstawiono profil portalu deon.pl, a w kolejnych częściach analizę treści profilu Deon FB oraz portalu deon.pl. WYNIKI ANALIZY NAUKOWEJ: Wszystkie wymienione materiały zostały poddane analizie ze względu na ich tematykę, charakter przekazu, liczbę polubień, wydźwięk polityczny oraz linię programową portalu. Tytuły facebookowego konta deon.pl odzwierciedlają dwie główne linie tematyczne: tematykę wojny w Ukrainie oraz tematykę przygotowań do Wielkanocy. W deon.pl dokonano analizy tekstów mieszczących się w zakładkach działów informacyjnych oraz opinii. WNIOSKI, INNOWACJE, REKOMENDACJE: Dziennikarstwo jakościowe to z jednej strony „dziennikarstwo wartości” i z drugiej „dziennikarstwo profesjonalne”. Przejawy takiego dziennikarstwa są widoczne w deon.pl. Jezuicki portal uznać należy za przejaw jakości dziennikarskiej w Polsce z powodu klarownych wartości wyznawanych i jednocześnie przekazywanych przez redakcję, jak i profesjonalizm pracy wedle przyjętych reguł dziennikarskich i wysokich standardów etycznych, w szczególności w jednoznacznym rozdziale informacji od opinii. Deon.pl jest przykładem katolickiego portalu będącego udaną próbą łączenia tradycji i nowości dziennikarskich na przekór tendencji fake newsa.

Opis:: In the present world information and knowledge are important elements of the local course of every stage of the civil service. Information delivered to local community contributes to achieving a high local identity level. Development of information function in gminas is being extorted by permanent progress in the scope of the information and communication technologies (ICT). In local society, the most important way of holding information should be Internet. It is important because more and more households in rural area have opportunities to the access to the Internet. Local society can use websites erected by local governments to disseminate information about functioning and action picked up in administrative districts to local actors. Transparent websites are becoming a source of information as well as they let achieve the competitive edge above other gminas. An attempt of assessment of providing information by authorities and usefulness of this information from a socio-economic development point of view is the purpose of the paper. Building transparent and available websites for local society is the important task for local governments, because well-informed society participates in local life and in local undertaking picked up by authorities. This is important, especially in the rural gminas located in metropolitan areas which must achieve the competitive edge above other gminas. The paper shows that that the information constituting the indispensable element of social and economic processes becomes more and more universal and serves publicizing and nationalizing decision-making processes.

Opis:: W tekście rozważane są problemy i perspektywy rozwoju komunikacji wirtualnej przedsiębiorstw informatycznych połączonych w klaster w warunkach współczesnych wyzwań globalnych. Celem opracowania jest wskazanie rozwiązania kwestii kształtowania współdziałania przedsiębiorstw informatycznych w klastrze, a także stworzenia funkcjonalnego modelu budowy zintegrowanego systemu informacyjno-komunikacyjnego wspomagania interakcji uczestników klastrów IT. Pierwsza część publikacji wskazuje, że klastry w Ukrainie rozwijają się pod wpływem dwóch głównych trendów: pierwszy to nasilająca się rywalizacja przy wyborze skutecznych strategii rozwoju potencjału innowacyjnego sektora usług IT, a drugi to wzmocnienie interakcji klastrowych pomiędzy kluczowymi branżami gospodarki opartej na wiedzy. Część druga, w oparciu o badanie doświadczeń międzynarodowych, projektuje podstawowe zasady oraz modele partnerstwa dla projektów w klastrze przedsiębiorstw IT i uczelni ukraińskich. Część trzecia proponuje z kolei model cyfrowej interakcji uczestników klastra i identyfikuje platformy komunikacyjne zwiększające potencjał komunikacyjny. W końcowej części przedstawiono sposoby praktycznego wykorzystania potencjału komunikacyjnego członków klastra IT poprzez interakcję cyfrową zaproponowanych platform komunikacyjnych na portalu internetowym na przykładzie Lwowskiego Klastra IT.
The article considers the problems and prospects for the development of virtual communication of IT enterprises connected in a cluster in the conditions of contemporary global challenges. The aim of the study is to identify solutions to the issue of shaping the cooperation of IT companies in a cluster, as well as to create a functional model for building an integrated information and communication system supporting the interaction of IT cluster participants. The first part of this text indicates that clusters in Ukraine are developing under the influence of two main trends: the first is the increasing competition in the selection of effective strategies for the development of the innovative potential of the IT services sector, and the second is the strengthening of cluster interactions between key sectors of the knowledge-based economy. The second part, based on the study of international experiences, designs the basic principles and models of partnership for projects in a cluster of IT enterprises and Ukrainian universities. The third part proposes a model of digital interaction of cluster participants, and also identifies communication platforms that increase the communication potential. The final part presents the methods of practical use of the communication potential of IT cluster members through digital interaction of the proposed communication platforms on the internet portal, based on the example of the Lviv IT Cluster.

Opis:: My research can be positioned to the border-land of the applied computer science, didactics and human-computer interaction. In the frame of my PhD thesis I make an attempt to develop and implement a framework to supply a deficiency in the informatic support of tertiary education. The aim of the presentation is to review the usage of the developed web interface. The primary goal of the newly implemented system is to support the instructors unconversant in informatics to facilely manage the everyday round of administrative duties. Additionally the developed web surface also enables to publish scientific activities, preliminary results of certain research, scientific presentations and public project reports. The system provides the ideal tools to allow the customized construction and organization of the content to be shared. The user interface enables to design the instructor’s portal, visualize and fill with content in an easy manner. Furthermore the framework also facilitates the regular maintenance and update of the portal without making use of any IT assistance.

Opis:: The article deals with the modern approaches to the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process, extracurricular activities and management at the regional level in order to enhance the creative potential of students, teachers and administrators. The article has described the conceptual bases of creating an information-educational environment of the region as a platform for information and achievement exchange between educators and the administration of the region. It specifies the technology of implementing the content and tech- nology component of the information-educational environment of the region and its main functional components. We suggest the implementation model of the effective management of educational institutions in the form of a unified system for collecting, processing and storing valid statistical and operational information on the activities of pre-school, comprehensive educational institutions and territorial units of education management (in districts and cities). The article has described the integrated tools and technologies that are designed to ensure the educational needs of both students and teachers. We also suggest the model of a single control center for the information-educational environment of the region that organizes support for its exploitation and development.

Opis:: Portal mapowy jest doskonałą formą wizualizacji wszystkich elementów z obszaru dawnego Zagłębia Wałbrzyskiego pozostałych po przemyśle wydobywczym. Dane wykorzystane do przygotowania opracowania pochodziły głównie z map topograficznych i archiwalnych opracowań górniczych. Realizacja omawianego portalu opiera się na tak zwanej architekturze trójwarstwowej. Proces budowy rozpoczęto od przygotowania danych wektorowych w postaci warstw tematycznych. Następnie, według zastosowanego schematu, stworzono strukturę składającą się z bazy danych oraz serwera sieciowego, który umożliwił wyświetlanie obiektów w aplikacji, przeznaczonej dla użytkownika. Całość wykorzystanego oprogramowania jest dystrybuowana na licencjach typu open source.
The post-mining area of Wałbrzych Coal Basin is still undergoing revitalization and contains traces of many mining activities. Web mapping process presented in this paper is a fine way of visualization of all surface objects of the mining industry. Data used in the project has been collected from various sources like topographic maps and mining documentations. Implementation of the geoportal was based on three-tier architecture. The whole process started from preparing spatial data which occurs in vector layer form. The key step was the construction of three connected layers which are: database, server application and presentation trier designed for clients. All of the software used is distributed on open source licenses.
