W artykule omówiono wyniki analizy stron internetowych podmiotów realizujących usługi przewozu osób na terenie celowo wybranych miast w Polsce pod kątem liczby ich odwiedzin i czasu przebywania użytkowników na stronach podczas jednej sesji. Analizowano również funkcjonalność i możliwość korzystania z najbardziej popularnych aplikacji mobilnych dedykowanych pasażerom komunikacji miejskiej w grupie badanych miast. Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań wskazują na duże zróżnicowanie logistycznej obsługi klienta pasażera w poszczególnych miastach biorąc pod uwagę funkcjonalność strony internetowej czy możliwość korzystania z aplikacji mobilnych.
The article discusses the results of the analysis of the websites of operators of public transport in selected cities in Poland. There the number of visits and the time spent on the site during one session were analyzed. The functionality and possibility of using the most popular mobile applications dedicated to public transport passengers in the examined cities were also analyzed. The results of the research show that level of customer service in the field of communication with passengers varies in different cities.

Web caching is the subject of intense research and development since it seems to be very promising area. Web caching means storing copies of frequently used objects (documents) geographically close to users requesting them to reduce network load, servers load and user response times. Cache can be situated in different locations between user and servers with original content. It seems that the most significant improvement can be achieved by using the proxy server - a dedicated web server. Various parameters affect web cache performance: cache size, limitations on document sizes or documents removal policy. Several metrics are used to evaluate this performance: hit rate for example is the ratio of documents obtained by using the cache mechanism comparing to the total number of documents requested. Choosing adequate parameters for interesting traffic patterns to improve cache performance is not a trivial cache management problem. Prototype tool based on multicriteria model analysis and supporting such web cache management is presented. Simple case was examined where small number of sets of cache parameters (variants), miniature traffic representation and only two performance measures are considered.

Based on the experimental test results of the authors, this investigation is concerned with the finite element analysis to examine and compare the load values and failure modes of the authors’ results. This research was conducted using the Abaqus software. The experimental work included the fabrication of twelve plate girders with honeycomb and flat web plate corrugation patterns, which were then tested under a single concentrated load at the midspan. According to the corrugation dimension or outer honeycomb web thickness, the honeycomb steel plate web girder is divided into three groups (60 mm, 80 mm and 100 mm). The specimens also involved plate girders with a flat web. The specimens were created with three lengths (600 mm, 1,200 mm and 1,800 mm). The Abaqus software was used in finite element models to simulate the concentrated load. The numerical results demonstrated that the 60 mm thick honeycomb web provides a greater load-bearing capacity and shear strength than other girders. The 20 mm honeycomb corrugation on the steel plate girder indicates the increased and improved shear resistance. The conclusion was that as the width of the corrugation increased, so did the steel web’s ultimate load and shear strength, resulting in a positive relationship between the critical shear buckling load of the web and the moment of inertia at the strong axis. When the dimension of the corrugation increases, the moment of inertia of the Y axis (Iy) decreases; thus, the plate girder will fail with a less critical buckling load (Pcr). Also, it can be concluded that as the steel plate thickness of the honeycomb web increases, the shear resistance increases as well. However, the spacing between the intermediate stiffener or the horizontal spacing of the web panel can enhance the shear resistance of honeycomb web girder if it was decreased due to increasing the action of tension field force that resists the diagonal tension developed at the web panel by the applied midspan concentrated force.

Choral singers are among intensive voice users whose excessive vocal effort puts them at risk of developing voice disorders. The aim of the work was to assess voice quality for choral singers in the choir at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. This evaluation was carried out using the acoustic parameters from the COVAREP (A Collaborative Voice Analysis Repository For Speech Technologies) repository. A prototype of a mobile application was also prepared to allow the calculation of these parameters. The study group comprised 6 male and 19 female choir singers. The control group consisted of health non-singing individuals, 50 men and 39 women. Auditory perceptual assessment (using the RBH scale) as well as acoustic analysis were used to test the voice quality of all the participants. The voice quality of the female choir singers proved to be normal in comparison with the control group. The male choir singers were found to have tense voice in comparison with the controls. The parameters which proved most effective for voice evaluation were Peak Slope and Normalized Amplitude Quotient.

Handel internetowy pozwala na automatyzację wielu procesów marketingowych oraz na pozyskanie cennych danych o zachowaniu klientów i ich nawigacji na stronach internetowych. Przy użyciu technik eksploracji danych można uzyskać pełną analizę zachowań klienta oraz przeprowadzić segmentację populacji. Sam proces segmentacji populacji nie pozwala jednak na określenie celu klienta, gdyż proces nawigacji jest zmienny w czasie i zależny od zewnętrznych czynników. Określenie celu i zrozumienie potrzeby klienta wymusza wprowadzenie analizy kontekstu zachowań e-klienta. Artykuł przedstawia analizę zachowań e-klientów, segmentację populacji oraz analizę kontekstu zachowań względem przeprowadzanych akcji marketingowych.
E-commerce allows to automate marketing processes and to gain valuable data about customer behavior and their navigation on the website. Using data mining techniques, we can get a complete analysis of customer behavior and to segment the po-pulation. However, population segmentation process does not identify the customer, because the navigation process is unpredictable over time and depends on external factors. This article presents an analysis of the behavior of e-customer, segmentation of population and analysis of the context of population behavior towards marketing actions.

Recent advances in data capture, data transmission and data storage technologies have resulted in a growing gap between more powerful database systems and users' ability to understand and effectively analyze the information collected. Many companies and organizations gather gigabytes or terabytes of business transactions, scientific data, web logs, satellite pictures, textreports, which are simply too large and too complex to support a decision making process. Traditional database and data warehouse querying models are not sufficient to extract trends, similarities and correlations hidden in very large databases. The value of the existing databases and data warehouses can be significantly enhanced with help of data mining. Data mining is a new research area which aims at nontrivial extraction of implicit, previously unknown and potentially useful information from large databases and data warehouses. Data mining, also referred to as database mining or knowledge discovery in databases, can help answer business questions that were too time consuming to resolve with traditional data processing techniques. The process of mining the data can be perceived as a new way of querying – with questions such  as ”which clients are likely to respond to our next promotional mailing, and why?”. The aim of this paper is to present an overall picture of the data mining field as well as presents briefly few data mining methods. Finally, we summarize the concepts presented in the paper and discuss some problems related with data mining technology.

This article presents a comparative analysis of two web applications implemented in PHP and Python. Test applications were created and equipped with the same functionality used in tests consisting in measuring the server response times to INSERT, SELECT, UPDATE and DELETE requests - handling database operations. The purpose of the research was to compare both languages in terms of selected criteria. Their performance, source code volume and popularity were compared.

The purpose of this article is to present basic information on bibliometric analysis of scientific achievements. This analysis is basis of the most popular indicators such as number of publications, number of citations, average citations, Impact Factor, Hirsh index. An analysis of publications Szczecin’s scientists indexed in the interdisciplinary database Web of Science is introduced in article. The analysis is a presentation capabilities the database and potential of this methods.

Background. Electronic cigarettes as possibly healthier alternative to conventional cigarettes are gaining popularity worldwide, although they are still hazardous to human health. Partly it is caused by unregulated advertising and online sales. Unfortunately it is more and more popular for youth to try electronic cigarettes. Objective. The aim of the study was to assess the marketing claims used by Polish websites offering electronic cigarettes Material and Methods. A search using Google search engine was performed in July 2015 for two keywords: e-papierosy [e-cigarettes] and elektroniczne papierosy [electronic cigarettes]. First 150 websites (15 pages) were listed. After initial review 86 pages met all inclusion criteria and were included in the study. Pages were searched for presence of 13 selected marketing claims as well as age-related warning and any social websites connections. Results. Age-related warning was present on only 33.72% (n=29) websites. Two thirds has its own Facebook fan-page with average 1922.09 ± 3634.86 likes. Articles about health are available on 10.46% (n=9) websites, 53.49% (n=46) states that e-cigarettes are healthier than conventional ones, 39.53% (n=34) emphasized that during usage of e-cigarettes no tarry substances are produced. Two pages had special article in which conventional and electronic cigarettes were compared. Almost half (44.19%) remarked that e-cigarettes are cheaper in usage than conventional, one third pointed out the simplicity of usage. 32.56% advertised e-cigarettes as aid in quitting smoking. One fourth stated that e-cigarettes are harmless for surroundings. 33.72% marketed them as a way of bypassing public smoking act. 56.98% remarked the variety of liquid tastes offered. Conclusions. Electronic cigarettes and their rising popularity create another new possible threat for public health as the widely available information emphasize safety of e-cigarettes usage and as their availability and usage is not limited or restricted by law.
Wprowadzenie. Elektroniczne papierosy (e-papierosy) jako prawdopodobnie mniej szkodliwa alternatywa dla konwencjonalnych papierosów zyskują coraz większą popularność na świecie, chociaż są szkodliwe dla zdrowia. Częściowo, jest to wynikiem braku regulacji prawnych odnoszących się do reklamowania i sprzedaży internetowej e-papierosów. Niestety, korzystanie z e-papierosów staje się coraz popularniejsze także wśród młodzieży. Cel badań. Celem badania było określenie i analiza praktyk i twierdzeń marketingowych używanych przez polskie sklepy internetowe oferujące e-papierosy. Materiał i metody. W lipcu 2015 z pomocą polskiej wersji wyszukiwarki Google wykonano zapytanie na hasła: e-papierosy oraz elektroniczne papierosy. Pierwsze 150 wyników (15 stron wyników) wypisano. Po wstępnym przejrzeniu 86 stron spełniało wszystkie warunki włączenia do badania. Przeprowadzono analizę stron pod kątem obecności 13 twierdzeń lub technik marketingowych oraz połączeń z mediami społecznościowymi, jak również ograniczenia wiekowego w dostępie do strony. Wyniki. Ograniczenie wiekowe w dostępnie do e-papierosów znaleziono na 29 (33.72%) stronach. Dwie trzecie stron miało fanpage na Facebooku (średnio 1922.09 ± 3634.86 polubień). Artykuły o zdrowiu były dostępne na 10.46% (n=9) stron. Na 53.49% (n=46) stron znaleziono twierdzenie, że e-papierosy są zdrowsze od papierosów tradycyjnych, 39.53% (n=34) stron podkreślało brak substancji smolistych. Dwie strony miały specjalny artykuł porównujący elektroniczne i tradycyjne papierosy. Niemal na połowie analizowanych stron (44.19%) przedstawiano e-papierosy jako tańsze w użytkowaniu, a na jednej trzeciej jako bardzo proste w użyciu. Na 32.56% stron reklamowano e-papierosy jako pomoc w rzucaniu palenia. Jedna czwarta stron zawierała twierdzenie o nieszkodliwości e-papierosów dla otoczenia. Na 33.72% stron reklamowano je jako sposób na obejście zakazu palenia w miejscach publicznych. Na 56.98% stron podkreślano różnorodność dostępnych smaków e-papierosów. Wnioski. Rosnąca popularność elektronicznych papierosów jest nowym zagrożeniem dla zdrowia publicznego, tym bardziej, iż powszechnie dostępne informacje podkreślają wysoki profil ich bezpieczeństwa, a dostępność i używanie nie jest ograniczone.

This paper addresses the problem of classification of user sessions in an online store into two classes: buying sessions (during which a purchase confirmation occurs) and browsing sessions. As interactions connected with a purchase confirmation are typically completed at the end of user sessions, some information describing active sessions may be observed and used to assess the probability of making a purchase. The authors formulate the problem of predicting buying sessions in a Web store as a supervised classification problem where there are two target classes, connected with the fact of finalizing a purchase transaction in session or not, and a feature vector containing some variables describing user sessions. The presented approach uses the k-Nearest Neighbors (k-NN) classification. Based on historical data obtained from online bookstore log files a k-NN classifier was built and its efficiency was verified for different neighborhood sizes. A 11-NN classifier was the most effective both in terms of buying session predictions and overall predictions, achieving sensitivity of 87.5% and accuracy of 99.85%.

The basics concepts of evolution in agents calculating are discovered in this work and are showed their directions and applications. Before explaining what is agent and its description, there were given a bit of its history and the difference between agents and programs. Were given basic types of agents on examples and figures. The main task of agents is to require a large number of interactions for which most mathematical modeling methods are unsuitable. Were analyzed agent systems architecture and a description of their main parts. Principles of work with mobile and intelligent agents are considered. Furthermore, were exemplify the reasons and situations of use either intelligent agents or mobile agents. Also, their examples were showed on different examples and figures. Technology and application tools which uses in the process are represented. Analysis of JADE-technology are carried out. On the market today there are analogues of JADE, but most of the systems are relatively new and require many improvements, some are under development prototypes. Also, were given description of main tools and features of JADE. It will help a lot in elaboration of agents. Advantages and disadvantages of using agent approach are showed for creating system of data processing and they show their versatility compared with other systems.

Sarcasm detection is one of the active research area in sentimental analysis. However this paper talks about one of the recent issue in sentimental analysis that us sarcasm detection. In our work, we have described different techniques used in sarcasm detection that helps a novice researcher in efficient way. Research background: Sustainability in organizations is a business approach to creating long-term value by taking into consideration how a given organization operates in the ecological, social, and economic environments. The organizational practices that eventually lead to sustainable development are referred to as sustainable organization management. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this paper is to examine the current trends in sustainable organization management over the time period of 2015-2022, highlight the emerging themes in this study area, and provide guidance for further research in the field. Methods: This paper uses bibliometric meta-data analysis to present an analysis of current trends in sustainable organizational management. An in-depth analysis of a sample result of 619 papers from the Web of Science core collection was conducted with the use of biblioshiny, the R-Programming Language package, and the VoS Viewer software. A global representation of concepts was created using the relational directory network visualization technique based on VoS Viewer software. Keyword cooccurrence relationships were determined; relational techniques were used to visualize bibliographic coupling density to identify thematic areas with little research; and overlay visualization bibliometric techniques were used to identify new and old research themes. Findings & value added: Emerging themes are modeling, tourism, and perceptions. Motor theme areas in the field of study include performance, impact, and management. The paper concludes that the study area of organizational sustainability management is still in its early stages and has great research potential, such as Africa as a study area, despite the fact that there have been few or no research findings. Future research should examine the role of technology and innovation in promoting sustainable practices within organizations and clarify how well an organization can survive global competition.
