    The availability of clean water is the responsibility of the local government to the community by one of the regional-owned companies known as the regional drinking water company (Perusahaan Daerah Air Minum – PDAM). The company performance will greatly affect community satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the performance of PDAM Lematang Enim and assess customer satisfaction with them. The data used in this study were collected through laboratory analysis and direct surveys of the community. The data were then analyzed using quantitative statistical methods. Customer satisfaction index (CSI) analysis and quadrant analysis are used to map customer satisfaction with the services provided. The CSI score showed that a value of 66.14 can be grouped in the satisfied category. The level of customer satisfaction with the services provided by PDAM Lematang Enim can be categorized as good. Strategies for increasing customer satisfaction are formulated through strength, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis. The results of the analysis show that customer satisfaction is included in the satisfied category. Water quality variables include that water does not smell and tastes quite good, but customers still feel that the water they receive has a different color. Strategies that can be implemented to increase customer satisfaction include focusing on increasing the most important variables according to customers, reducing spending on less important variables, and optimizing the use of appropriate technology.

    Gospodarka wodna jest nieodłącznym elementem życia i rozwoju nowo¬czesnych społeczeństw. Nieodłącznym elementem tej gospodarki są spółki wodne. W Polsce zagadnienia te są uregulowane w odpowiednich przepisach, a ich podstawę stanowi ustawa z dnia 18 lipca 2001r. prawo wodne . Spółki wodne jako forma działalności organizacyjnej, zostały ujęte już w ustawie prawo wodne z 1922r. Mają one więc swoje prawne umocowania od wielu lat. Znalazło to swoje odzwierciedlenie w prawie wodnym z 2001 r. W myśl przepisów tam zawartych urządzenia melioracyjne służące do nawad¬niania lub odwadniania gruntów utrzymywane są przez właścicieli gruntów lub inne podmioty, które odnoszą z tego tytuły korzyści. Dlatego dla usprawnienia i ulepszenia realizacji właściwego gospodarowania wodami i urządzeniami wodnymi przez właścicieli gruntów i wszystkich odnoszących ko¬rzyści tworzone są dobrowolne organizacje zwane spółkami wodnymi, które przejmują wykonywanie obowiązków związanych z utrzymywaniem urządzeń melioracji szczegółowych od zainteresowanych.
    Water economy is an inseparable part of life and modern societies development. An inseparable part of the water economy are water companies. In Poland such issues are organized by proper regulations and their basis is a legal act set up on the 18th of July, 2001, called Water Law. Water companies as a form of organized activity has been implemented in legal act Water Law since 1922 thus having been fixed for many years. It was reflected in in the Water Law in 2001. According to the legal regulations in the Water Law, the devices used for irrigation and desiccation of the arable lands are maintained by the land owners and other business entities who benefit from the usage of these lands. Therefore, for the improvement of the usage of water and water devices by land owners and other entities, voluntary organizations called water companies are set up. Water companies take over the responsibilities concerned with the land improvement from the people concerned.

    This study addresses the issues of water management safety management in the context of shaping the appropriate level of municipal services in Poland, related to quality standards and the availability of water resources for enterprises and the local community. The literature review presents examples of activities concerning the evaluation of the quality and availability of groundwater and their suitability for domestic and commercial use in the world. The key parameters of water intended for human consumption, which affect its quality, have been selected based on the literature and the Polish standards set out in the regulation. On this basis, appropriate parameters for case-study research were selected. In the following, the analytical methods and tools used to assess water quality were characterized. In the case study example, the analysis of water parameters from selected three different intakes in 2015-2017 (Tęczowa, Stodoły and GPW Rybnik-Północ) was performed and the functioning and role of the internal Water and Sewage Laboratory in the safety management of water economy in the water and sewerage company has been presented.

    The author of the article presents the importance of using the principles of logistics management in practical activity of the water supply company. The main aim of the article is analyzing the principles of logistics management and evaluating their influence on the functioning of management of water supply company. The subject of research is “Sewage and Water Supply Company “WODNIK” Ltd in Jelenia Góra. To accomplish such a defined aim the following objectives have been expressed: (1) determining the characteristics of the principles of logistics management, (2) presenting the principles of logistics management in a section of concrete actions, processes and programs which support their implementation in the company S&WSC “Wodnik” Ltd, (3) defining the role of the principles of logistics management in the administration in S&WSC “Wodnik” Ltd. In the article, the thesis has been stated that using the principles of logistics management is a crucial factor, making the accomplishment of strategic, tactical and operative aims of the company easier. Data for the analysis were obtained from the company’s internal documents, observation and interviews with company management.

    The implementation of public tasks may be entrusted by local municipalities to specific entities, which include water companies. These entities are often established on the initiative of local government units which, by becoming members of water companies, aim to ensure that the tasks they carry out are fulfilled and, for the benefit of the general public, take all steps to equip those entities with the necessary fixed assets. The functioning of water companies is not given much space in the doctrine, especially in the context of the acquisition of property rights and mutual relations between the municipality and the water company. Water companies created on the basis of the Water Law Act, of which local government units are often members, are mistakenly treated by their creators, members and beneficiaries as equal to budgetary establishments carrying out obligatory tasks for the residents. Misinterpretation of the legal conditions of a water company can lead to the implementation of legal actions that cause irreversible property consequences for both parties. At this point it is worthwhile to analyze the effects of a legal action consisting in the transfer of real estate by a municipality for free use to a water law company. The doctrine devotes relatively little space to explaining the phenomena related to the performance by water law companies of tasks commissioned by local governments units and the legal problems arising in this area. The study was carried out using a dogmatic-legal method in order to determine the legal status of an entity of a water company under the current legislation, in particular the provisions of the Water Law Act, the Act on Entrepreneurs and the Act on Real Estate Management. The findings in this regard allowed to answer the question: does the transfer of a municipality’s assets to a water company for use free of charge for an indefinite period of time constitute a transfer of ownership rights? An analysis was made of the consequences of concluding an agreement for the transfer of real estate by a municipality to a water company for use free of charge and of the impact on ownership rights and property consequences for both entities.
    Realizacja zadań publicznych może być powierzana przez gminy specyficznym podmiotom, do których zalicza się spółki wodne. Podmioty te powstają często z inicjatywy jednostek samorządu terytorialnego, które stając się członkiem spółek wodnych, dbają o zapewnienie realizowanych przez nie zadań i dla dobra ogółu społeczeństwa podejmują wszelkie czynności mające na celu wyposażenie tych podmiotów w niezbędny majątek trwały. Funkcjonowaniu spółek wodnych nie poświęca się w doktrynie wiele miejsca, zwłaszcza w kontekście nabywania praw majątkowych i wzajemnych relacji pomiędzy gminą a spółką wodną. Tworzone na podstawie ustawy Prawo wodne spółki wodne, których członkami są często jednostki samorządu terytorialnego, zarówno przez ich twórców, członków, jak i beneficjentów mylnie traktowane są na równi z zakładami budżetowymi wykonującymi obowiązkowe zadania na rzecz mieszkańców. Błędna interpretacja uwarunkowań prawnych spółki wodnej może prowadzić do realizowania czynności prawnych, wywołujących nieodwracalne skutki o charakterze majątkowym dla obu stron. Warto w tym miejscu dokonać analizy skutków czynności prawnej polegającej na przekazaniu nieruchomości przez gminę w nieodpłatne użytkowanie spółce prawa wodnego. W doktrynie stosunkowo mało miejsca poświęca się wyjaśnianiu zjawisk związanych z wykonywaniem przez spółki prawa wodnego zadań zleconych jednostek samorządowych i wynikających w tym obszarze problemów natury prawnej. Badanie przeprowadzono metodą dogmatyczno-prawną, a jego celem było ustalenie podmiotowości spółki wodnej na gruncie obecnie obowiązujących przepisów, a zwłaszcza przepisów ustawy Prawo wodne, ustawy Prawo przedsiębiorców oraz Ustawy o gospodarce nieruchomościami. Ustalenia w powyższym zakresie pozwoliły na uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytanie: czy przekazanie majątku gminy spółce wodnej w nieodpłatne użytkowanie na czas nieokreślony stanowi przeniesienie prawa własności? Przeprowadzono analizę skutków zawarcia umowy przekazania w nieodpłatne użytkowanie przez gminę nieruchomości spółce wodnej oraz jej wpływu na prawa właścicielskie i skutki majątkowe dla obu podmiotów.

    Wodomierz w przedsiębiorstwie wodociągowym jest obecnie podstawowym urządzeniem do pomiaru zużycia wody, zarówno wtłoczonej do sieci, jak i u końcowego odbiorcy. Najliczniejszą grupę stanowią urządzenia w średnicach DN 15 i DN 20. Coraz częściej przedsiębiorstwa wodociągowe dla ograniczenia strat wody decydują się na zakup i montaż w sieci wodociągowej wodomierzy klasy C. Wybór typu wodomierza powinien być uzależniony między innymi od jakości wody w sieci. Wodomierze jednostrumieniowe klasy B są lub były w wielu przedsiębiorstwach wodociągowych głównym urządzeniem pomiarowym. Okres pracy wodomierzy w sieci (okres między legalizacjami) wynosi w Polsce 5 lat. W artykule przedstawiono badania właściwości metrologicznych wodomierzy jednostrumieniowych suchobieżnych klasy B po 5 latach eksploatacji w sieciach wodociągowych w różnych przedsiębiorstwach wodociągowych.
    Water meter in waterwork company is the basic measuring instrument for water consumption measuring, both pumped into the water network as well as at the final recipient. The largest group consists of devices within DN 15 and DN 20 sizes. More and more often, water companies decide to purchase and install water meters of a class C in the water supply network to reduce water losses. Selection of the type of the meter should be subjected to ex. quality of the water in the network. SingleClass B Meters have been the main water measuring device in many companies. The operation time period of water meters in the water network (legalization period) is in Poland five years. The paper presents a study on the metrological characteristics of single dry running meters of a Class B after 5 years of use in water distribution networks, in different water companies.

The innovative and socially responsible enterprise model is a response to the challenges posed by the environment, providing the sustainable access to service. CSR activities enhance the company's chances of reaching a balance between the interests and needs of different stakeholder groups. Factor in facilitating the process of integration is the development of modern information and communication technologies, which makes this integration process possible.

    Norymberga - drugie po Monachium miasto Bawarii - jest lokalizacją również drugiego co do wysokości budynku biurowego tego landu - Business Tower Nürnberg. Obiekt ten jest zarazem główną siedzibą towarzystwa ubezpieczeniowego, jak i stanowi współczesną wizytówkę miasta. Na prezentowany kompleks biurowy składa się cylindryczna wieża oraz siedmiopiętrowy blok obwodowy w kształcie czworoboku, na którego dziedzińcu wewnętrznym znajduje się spektakularny basen wodny oraz przestrzeń do rekreacji wśród zieleni. W artykule autor podejmuje próbę określenia współczesnych znaczeń wprowadzenia atrakcyjnej zielonej przestrzeni rekreacji do biurowego kompleksu o charakterze reprezentacyjnym zarówno dla firmy, jak i dla miasta. Autor zwraca uwagę na wielość znaczeń i złożoność wartości, często nieoczywistych, wynikających z tworzenia obiektów typu wizytówka dla szeregu różnorodnych odbiorców.
    Nuremberg - the second biggest city in Bavaria, after Munich - is also the location of the second tallest building in this state - Building Tower Nürnberg. This building is the main seat of an insurance company, as well as a contemporary showcase of the city. The entire office complex in question consists of a cylindrical tower and a peripheral seven-floor building in the shape of a quadrangle, in the internal courtyard of which there is a spectacular water pool and a space for recreation amongst abundant greenery. In this paper the Author makes an attempt at determining contemporary meanings relating to the introduction of an attractive recreational green area in the office building of a representational character for the company itself, as well as for the entire city. The Author points to the multitude of meanings and the complexity of values, often quite unobvious ones, resulting from the creation of showcase buildings for a number of diversified recipients.

    Opis:
    Dedicated to the development of resource-saving polluted washing water treating technologies for transport companies. The article suggests methods of water purification with regard to scientifically grounded requirements to the quality of the water used and the required degree of purification and The article also considers the method of selecting efficient methods of sewage water treating, when a selective removal of individual polluting ingredients should be done. For this purpose we have conducted a simulation process of treating polluted washing water in the circulating water systems, and provided solutions for refining the process parameters.
    Посвящено разработке ресурсосберегающих технологий очистки загрязненных моечных вод на предприятиях транспорта. В статье рассмотрены методы очистки воды с учетом научно-обоснованных требований к качеству используемой воды и необходимой степени очистки и методики подбора селективных рациональных методов очистки сточных вод, когда удаление отдельных ингредиентов общего загрязнения происходит избирательно. Проведено моделирование процесса очистки загрязненных моечных вод в оборотных системах водопользования и даны решения задач оптимизации параметров процесса.
