Opis:
Numerical research in the field of collaboration of basic components and entire constructional solutions is much cheaper than managing a goods production and testing them in actual conditions. Numerical research allows determining essential modifications of a product being prepared from the functional, utilitarian and technological point of view. Considering the problem to be solved, the blood flows through the area limited by the sides of apiston, syringe and needle were analyzed. Pressure arises after the initiation of the piston's move and the blood flows as a result of the difference in pressures. The blood flows from the areas with higher pressure to the ones with lower pressure. The numerical research focused on analysis of the boundary conditions influence on the arrangement of the velocity and blood pressure in a syringe. In order to calculate the blond flow through a syringe the researchers used a model that allows the flow of adhesive fluids - substances with internal friction. Navier-Stokes' equations were used to describe adhesive fluids move mathematically. These equations allowed describing non-stationary flow of incompressible fluids, i.e. including no volumetric changes, however, including figural changes. In last analyzed case, i.e. with flow orifice, fluids dam up in front ofthe orifice and thenflow into the next chamberjust after the orifice. The fluids flow to the chamber as apiled up stream. Then, the fluids hit internal bend sides and rotate again in front of the needle orifice entry. Considering fluids parameters, vorticity process improves fluid mixing process.

Opis:
Monthly relative vorticity and the relative vorticity anomaly at pressure level 850 hPa are computed to study circulation over Southeast Asia associated with the rainfall over Thailand. Monthly mean rainfall is averaged during the years 1979 to 2013 over Thailand to study the trends of rainfall and to analyze the difference between the SSTA in a dry year (1992) and a wet year (1999), and the precipitation anomaly. Rotation of the relative vorticity over Thailand during the rainy season in 1999 is supported by the westerly wind from the Indian Ocean. Relative vorticity over Thailand in October to December are brought by the wind from the east toward the west of the South China Sea. The positive value of relative vorticity in 1992 is less than in 1999. This is consistent with the precipitation anomalies in 1992 and 1999. Clearly, the rainfall and precipitation anomaly over Thailand in wet year 1992 and dry year 1999 are consistent with the relative vorticity at pressure level 850 hPa. Both years are also associated with the SSTA. It can be concluded that the large amounts of rainfall over Thailand are associated with the positive values of relative vorticity at pressure level 850 hPa and SSTA over Southeast Asia. The daily relative vorticity at pressure level 850 hPa and SSTA over Southeast Asia during Typhoon Linda is analyzed in the research. The positive value of relative vorticity is consistent with circulation during Typhoon Linda which is brought by winds from the South China Sea, and the SSTA is also unusual over the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea. These are the causes of violent storms in Thailand during Typhoon Linda.

Opis:
The vortex particle method is an easy and attractive tool to analyze flow phenomena by investigating vorticity fields and the generation of vorticity at solid walls. The vorticity generation at the walls and its introduction to the flow is of fundamental significance for understanding such phenomena as transition to turbulence, boundary layer separation in an eruptive way, and Hortex structures regeneration. In the present study the vortex-in-cell usefulness of the method has been tested using a variety of simple test problems: the Poiseuille flow, the second Stokes problem, the cavity, the backward step flow, the vortex dipole interaction with the wall, and the flow past a square cylinder in the vicinity of a wall in order to illustrate the correctness and usefulness of the Hortex particle method.

Opis:
Results of investigation on the transport of vorticity in Rivlin-Ericksen viscoelastic fluid in the presence of suspended magnetic particles is presented here. Equations governing the transport of vorticity in Rivlin-Ericksen viscoelastic fluid in the presence of suspended magnetic particles are obtained from the equations of magnetic fluid flow. From these equations it follows that the transport of solid vorticity is coupled with the transport of fluid vorticity. Further, we find that because of thermokinetic process, fluid vorticity may exist in the absence of solid vorticity, but when fluid vorticity is zero, then solid vorticity is necessarily zero. A two-dimensional case is also studied and found that the fluid vorticity is indirectly influenced by the temperature and the magnetic field gradient.

A mathematical model of the mechanism of the appearance of antisymmetric vortices during the propagation of freshwater into the seawater which is observed, in particular, at the exit from the Baltic Canal connecting the Vistula Lagoon and the Baltic Sea is constructed in the work. In particular it is shown that the main reason for the vortex formation in this case is the Coriolis force. The exact dependence of the circulation of velocity on time for the three simplest types of the “tongue” of the intrusion of freshwater is calculated analytically in the work as well.

Opis:
A combination of the vortex method and the boundary element method is used here to predict the two-dimensional flow field around a circular cylinder. Cylindrical structures experience strong hydrodynamic loading, due to vortex detachment from the both sides of cylinder during the flow. Thus, the practical meaning of such calculation is significant particularly in offshore oil and gas engineering as well as in the bridge and hydraulic structure engineering. This paper presents the mathematical formulation of the vortex method for the velocity and vorticity field calculation. The calculated velocity and vorticity fields are then used to predict the pressure distribution on the cylinder surface by the boundary element method. The resulting pressure on the cylinder, the Strouhal number and the length of the base recirculation zone are compared with solutions of other numerical methods and experiments, and a good agreement is achieved.

Opis:
In the paper the vortex in cell method for the simulation of the viscous flow in a complex geometry was described. Vorticity field is approximated by the collection of the particles that carries the circulation. The local velocity of a particle was obtained by the solution of the Poisson equation for the stream function by the grid method and then interpolation of velocity from the grid nodes to the vortex particle position. The Poisson equation for the stream function was solved by fast elliptic solvers. To be able to solve the Poisson equation in a region with a complex geometry, the capacitance matrix technique was used. The viscosity of the fluid was taken in a stochastic manner. A suitable stochastic differential equation was solved by the Huen method. The non-slip condition on the wall was realized by the generation of the vorticity. The program was tested by solving several flows in the channels with a different geometry and at a different Reynolds number. Here we present the testing results concerning the flow in a channel with sudden symmetric expansion, for the flow in channel with backward step, and the flow over building systems.

Opis:
The origins of dynamics, the physical basis of time asymmetry and the nature of gravity are all considered in the model discussed in this paper. The theory takes entropy as not a sheer thermodynamic property but rather considers it as a Quantum Field Theoretic property that emanates from a fundamental field. Also it is quantized, the most fundamental unit being the value of the Boltzmann constant. Ab initio the reason for entropy being a quantum field property is systematically argued. We explicitly show how the fields gain the property of entropy. First and foremost, we get rid of the Penrose-Hawking Big Bang singularity involving all spacetime, by proposing the existence of closed timelike geodesics below the Planck scale since that’s where GR ceases to function. We argue that this corresponds to a breaking of Lorentz covariance symmetry below the Planckian scale. We then explicitly show this symmetry to be broken and then obtain an anomalous current that is non-conserved; we later demonstrate that this is the non-conserved entropy current. This explicitly shows the Planckian nature of the irreversible thermodynamics that yields entropy currents. The static vortex gauge theory that interacts with the entropy endowing K-field actually gives a degree of randomness to the field and endows it with dynamics and gives it the ability to give dynamics to all the other fermionic and bosonic fields including gravity. The acquiring of the property of mass by this field via the Anderson-Higgs mechanism makes the dynamics finite. The positivity of entropy and the mass make the dynamics finite and time asymmetrical. Finally we construct a Hamilton-Volterra system of equations and imposing a special gauge which we call the ”Pauli Gauge”, and then consider the diffusion of curvature mathematically defining it by the Ricci flow, we deliver the pure gravity Einstein field equations. This paper all in all represents a model that gives a new way to think about the origins of dynamics, asymmetry of time, nature of gravity and the finiteness of dynamics.

Opis:
The main purpose of present paper aims at the establishment of a numerical model for solving the nonlinear water wave problems. The model is based on the Navier-Stokes equations with the consideration of a free-surface through the streamfunction-vorticity formulation. The main advantage of the streamfunction-vorticity formulation is that pressure field can be eliminated from the Navier-Stokes equations. To demonstrate the model feasibility, the present studies are first concentrated on problems including the collision of two solitary waves with different amplitudes, and the overtaking collision of two solitary waves. Then, the model is also applied to a solitary wave passes over the submerged obstacle in a viscous fluid. Finally, the application of present study is also to simulate the generation of solitary waves by underwater moving object. All examples give very promising results, those applications reveal that present formulation is a very powerful approach to simulate the fully nonlinear water wave problems.
