Opis:
Madden-Julian oscillation (MJO) is an atmospheric oscillation due to atmospheric phenomenon that occurs due to the uniformity of solar energy received at the surface of the earth, MJO is a natural occurrence in the seaatmosphere system. When the MJO is active, in general there will be a disturbance in the upper air which is then followed by an anomaly at sea surface pressure causing the changes in the wind on the surface. The changes in the surface wind affect the sea surface currents which then cause the occurrence of coastal upwelling downwelling. The upwelling process itself is a process whereby a sea mass is pushed upward along the continent, when the beach is to the left of the wind direction, the ecological transport leads to the mass of water away from the coast. As a result, there is a mass vacuum (divergence) in the coastal area. This mass void will be filled by the mass of water from the inner layer that moves to the surface. Indonesian territory itself is passed by MJO in phases 3, 4 and 5, while for Sumatra region is passed by MJO phase 3 and 4. This research aims to identify the propagation of coastal upwelling during MJO on the west coast of Sumatera, therefore the data of geopotential height, surface pressure sea ( MSLP), zonal and meridional components and sea surface temperature are used to analyze how the MJO effect on the coastal upwelling occurs in the research area. The analysis was conducted in June, July and August by comparing the atmospheric conditions at the time of strong MJO in phases 3 and 4 with normal viewing of anomaly geopotential height and MSLP and then seeing the anomaly surface wind changes from zonal wind (u) and meridional wind (v) and changes in SST in Sumatra region. The result shows that there is a change of GH and MSLP when MJO passes the west coast of Sumatra and then follows the change in the value of u and v and SST to identify the upwelling, while the anomaly change negative SST does not occur when MJO is active but has time lag (lag). In this analysis it was found that SST anomaly occurs when the anomaly changes in both the upper and surface water occurring after 5 days in phases 3, 4 and 5.

Opis:
The work covers the adequate kinetics of the flexibly fixed working element of a rotating device. First the literature background of the problem has been presented, turning the attention on such systems where the phenomenon of centrifugal displacement of a body due to the rotating of the system occurs. Then the general characteristics of the complex motion of working element has been described. The core of the work is the description of the variable component motions, with the starting point of the description being the source differential equation, presenting this type of dependence of the path length on time. The accelerated angular motion and retarded radial motion have been separated, describing these component motions as the function of time. Based on these detailed descriptions, the trajectory equation of working element, the derivatives and further kinetic magnitudes, have been derived. In the conclusion, the cognitive and practical qualities of the presented solutions of the title problem, have been accented.

Opis:
The article addresses the three-dimensional (3D) underwater path planning problem of an autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) in a time-varying current. A modified artificial potential field algorithm combining the velocity vector synthesis method is proposed to search for the optimal path. The modified potential field (MPF) algorithm is designed to dynamically plan the non-collision path. Meanwhile, this modified method is also proved to be an effective solution to the goals not reachable with obstacles nearby (GNRON), U-shaped trap, and rotation unreachable problems. To offset the influence of time-varying current, the velocity synthesis approach is designed to adjust the AUV movement direction. Besides, considering path planning in the complex underwater environment, the multi-beam forward-looking sonar (FLS) model is used. Finally, simulation studies substantiate that the designed algorithm can implement the AUV path planning effectively and successfully in a 3D underwater environment.

Opis:
Based upon the example of geometrical optics and  geometrical optics of electrons, as well as the theory of the electric field and the theory of the flow of the perfect liquid in two dimensions, the analogy of the laws of physics have been discussed. In the awareness of physicists, the analogy is a syntactical identity, of the physically interpreted mathematical formulas, describing the laws of physics. In the paper, it has been presented some relevant laws of the two pairs of the theories being compared. For the three cases, it has been provided the appropriate photographs presenting the results of the empirical tests of some of the relevant laws.

Opis:
This paper deals with control of a nonholonomic unicycle-like robot in a cluttered environment with static obstacles. The proposed solution is based on a combination of a universal motion controller taking advantage of transverse functions with a navigation velocity field determining a path in a free task space. The motion controller is used to imitate an omnidirectional planar kinematics such that nonholonomic constraints become hidden for a navigation layer. Then it is possible to generate vector fields which govern motion of the omnidirectional frame. The controller using the transverse function is discussed in depth. In particular, a possible parametrization of this function is considered and analysis of an augmented dynamics is provided for different motion patterns. Next, construction of obstacles and potential design for star-like shapes are presented. The navigation algorithm is verified experimentally and the results are discussed.
