Opis:
The article focuses on the socio-spatial accessibility of the city, taking into account the phenomenon of a digitally expanding urban environment: new-media mobility conditions, intermedia dataflow, hybrid space. Therefore, turning to the problem of access and to urban mobile applications complements the problem of access to the city itself. Particular attention is focused on mapping applications, considering mapping as an expression of active city exploration “from the inside” and the process of cooperative spatial knowledge production, characterized by a critical approach. Urban mapping applications dedicated to people with disabilities can be not only a form of support when they move around the city, but also a kind of tool for co-shaping urban space – exposing inequalities and seeking ways to deconstruct socio-spatial “normalization”. In this perspective, people with disabilities, taking advantage of the new spaces of mobile accessibility, place themselves in the role of political subjects, co-creators of space, “mapping citizens” fighting for their rights as urban citizens.

Opis:
Studies on urban and regional development can draw from the intellectual heritage of institutional economics which assumes, among other things, that the historical trajectories of development, as well as social relations, determine the ways in which economic entities reach their goals. In a broader context, an institutional environment (especially this shaped in the conditions of spatial proximity), is not only a framework, but also a source of new ideas, and as such contributes to sustainable growth and competitiveness. The aim of this paper is to present possible directions of regional research in the spirit of institutionalism, taking into account its current strands and schools. This review is supported by the presentation of some empirical undertakings, such as Doing Business index, risk assessment indices, European Urban Audit or Creative Cities index. In the conclusion, some methodological.

Opis:
Generation change contributes to the emergence of new consumer trends, defined by global economy researchers as medium-term trends. One of them is the modification of the existing traditional model of ownership and use of cars. The sharing economy is based on the sharing of resources (e.g. cars) by owners to external entities or individual users. Mobility-as-a-Service has become the answer to new mobility needs. In the future, its development will affect the creation of new business models, both by existing and new market players, not only from the automotive industry but also IT sector, especially its part dealing with the creation of mobile applications. This paper presents MaaS characteristics and the use of this kind of services in mobility in the city.
