A mixed hypergraph is a triple = (X,,) where X is the vertex set and each of , is a family of subsets of X, the -edges and -edges, respectively. A k-coloring of is a mapping c: X → [k] such that each -edge has two vertices with the same color and each -edge has two vertices with distinct colors. = (X,,) is called a mixed hypertree if there exists a tree T = (X,) such that every -edge and every -edge induces a subtree of T. A mixed hypergraph is called uniquely colorable if it has precisely one coloring apart from permutations of colors. We give the characterization of uniquely colorable mixed hypertrees.

As part of the implementation of the Polish Geological Survey numerous and perfectly preserved dinosaur footprints were discovered in the upper Hettangian (Lower Jurassic) barrier-lagoon deposits, outcropping in the ceramic clay pit in Borkowice (Przysucha County, Poland). A large part of the specimens shows (especially visible in 3D scans) three-dimensional natural casts of dinosaur feet, on which anatomical features and impressions of the scaly skin are preserved in unusual details. These are the best-preserved traces of dinosaurs so far discovered in Poland and the quality of their preservation is equal to the best-known discoveries worldwide. In order for such a state of preservation to be possible, a very special sequence of sedimentary/taphonomic events had to take place in a very short time. The collection also includes records of ethology (behaviour) left by dinosaurs running, swimming, resting and sitting on a muddy sediment, as well as many enigmatic biogenic structures, probably related to various life activities of dinosaurs living there. So far, several hundred dinosaur tracks, representing at least seven different species of these animals have been collected and secured in Borkowice, and the prospects for new finds are much more promising. Unique bone remains of ornithischian dinosaurs preserved in the form of casts have also been found. It is necessary to act in cooperation with local authorities and the entrepreneur exploiting the clay deposits in order to secure and protect the geoheritage site.

A branch at a vertex x in a tree is a maximal subtree containing x as an endvertex. The branch-weight of x is the maximum number of edges in any branch at x. The branch-weight sequence of a tree is the multiset consisting of the branch-weights of all vertices arranged in nonincreasing order. Non-isomorphic trees may have the same branch-weight sequence. A tree T is said to be branch-weight unique in a family of trees if T is uniquely determined in the family by its branch-weight sequence. A spider is a tree in which exactly one vertex has degree exceeding two. It is known that spiders are branch-weight unique in the family of spiders but not in the family of all trees. In this study, a necessary and sufficient condition is obtained whereby a spider may be branch-weight unique in the family of all trees. Moreover, two types of trees are proposed to be branch-weight unique in the family of all trees.

Opis:
Objective: To describe dentoalveolar findings in one pediatric patient with a very rare Carpenter syndrome or acrocephalopolysyndactyly type II, and using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT). Case report: We found a syndromic oligodontia, upper canine transmigration, and an exceptional agenesis of four lateral incisors. We also described the fourth case in the literature of a single solitary lower incisor on the midline, and the first case ever illustrated on CBCT. Conclusions: We proposed and illustrated the use of the system of progressive numbering of teeth on CBCT axial views to better understand complex dental clinical situations such as syndromic oligodontia.
Objectifs de travail: Evaluer la région dento-alvéolaire chez un patient pédiatrique atteint d'un très rare syndrome de Carpenter ou d'acrocéphalopolysyndactylie de type II à l'aide de la tomodensitométrie volumique à faisceau conique (CBCT). Cas clinique: Nous avons retrouvé une oligodontie syndromique, une transmigration canine supérieure et une agénésie exceptionnelle des quatre incisives latérales. Nous avons également décrit le quatrième cas dans la littérature d'une seule incisive inférieure solitaire sur la ligne médiane, et le premier cas jamais illustré sur CBCT. Conclusions: Nous avons proposé et illustré l'utilisation du système de numérotation progressive des dents sur des vues axiales CBCT pour mieux comprendre les situations cliniques dentaires complexes telles que l'oligodontie syndromique.

Heinz Piontek and Christa Wolf before the turnaround. A comparative study. The article is a comparative study. The aims of the study is to analyze the essays written by Heinz Piontek and Christa Wolf before the turnaround, mainly in the 1970’, and to discuss the similarities and differences between them. We can notice some points of contact in their literary work. Similar motives in similar constellations appear in both essays writing. Although they worked in different regimes, the same themes and literary tendencies are described by both of them, and some phenomenons are being similar assessed.

In this paper we present some hypergraphs which are chromatically characterized by their chromatic polynomials. It occurs that these hypergraphs are chromatically unique. Moreover we give some equalities for the chromatic polynomials of hypergraphs generalizing known results for graphs and hypergraphs of Read and Dohmen.

Opis:
An article discusses a necessity of combination of historical and contemporary architectural concepts in the process of selection of strategy for sustainable urban development. Working out a dynamic balance between this two concepts provides sustainability of area development, which is required for incorporation of new architectural objects in existing structure of a city. At that, usage of historical architectural concepts will allow to preserve cultural identity of developed city, while usage of modern architects’ concepts would promote quick reaction on continuously changing social, technical and ecological conditions of formation. An expressed hypothesis in the article regarding a necessity of such dynamic balance is illustrated with interaction of historical concept of ensemble development of urban space with modern architects’ concepts based on combination of elements of live and inanimate nature. Interaction of these concepts occurs after assessment of an ensemble potential state or potential of ensemble self-development of a particular urban space. This helps to determine probable directions of urban space development in line with already incorporated genetic program (peculiarities) of formation of an examined territory. Considering determined ensemble potential the following options of usage of modern architectural concepts which are based on combination of live and inanimate nature elements are suggested: for regeneration of at one time destroyed or degrading districts by means of inclusion of new unique buildings and complexes; for increase of importance of reorganized urban spaces at incorporation of architectural and city developments objects as well as engineering infrastructure objects; for enrichment of city environment by employing natural structures and materials, imitations of relief, landscape, natural texture in developed objects and complexes. Foregoing the above, combination of historical and modern concepts discussed in the article would provide maintenance of urban spaces in the state of sustainable development.

Given integers p > k > 0, we consider the following problem of extremal graph theory: How many edges can a bipartite graph of order 2p have, if it contains a unique k-factor? We show that a labeling of the vertices in each part exists, such that at each vertex the indices of its neighbours in the factor are either all greater or all smaller than those of its neighbours in the graph without the factor. This enables us to prove that every bipartite graph with a unique k-factor and maximal size has exactly 2k vertices of degree k and 2k vertices of degree (|V(G)|)/2. As our main result we show that for k ≥ 1, p ≡ t mod k, 0 ≤ t < k, a bipartite graph G of order 2p with a unique k-factor meets 2|E(G)| ≤ p(p+k)-t(k-t). Furthermore, we present the structure of extremal graphs.

Schaeffler zeigt mit seinen Beiträgen sehr deutlich, dass das Gebet keine sinnlose sprachliche Äußerung ist und arbeitet sehr gut die Spezifika religiöser Sprache heraus, was besonders an Beispielen in Psalmen und am Magnificat deutlich werden konnte. Er wies auf das Selbstverständnis der Beterin/des Beters hin und zeichnete dies am Beispiel Mariens nach. An ihrem Beispiel konnten wir sehen, wie religiöses Sprechen die eigene Person zur Sprache bringen kann und wie in der Sprache der Adressat berücksichtigt wird in Rückgebundenheit auf die eigene Existenz. Das Gebet hat Bestand durch die Zeit hindurch und ruft somit eine immer größere Gemeinschaft zusammen, die dieselben Worte ein und desselben Gebetes weitergeben kann und somit ermöglicht, eine Tradition aufrechtzuerhalten, in der Geschichte und Gegenwart zusammenfließen und einen Bestand für die Zukunft garantieren. Die gemeinsame Gebetssprache, wie z.B. die Psalmen oder das „Vater Unser“, ist ein wichtiger Faktor, der ein Erblühen und Weiterblühen einer Gemeinde möglich macht. Gott kann durch die Zeit hindurch als ein und derselbe erkannt werden. Auch über den Wandel zahlreicher Zeitalter hinaus erkennen wir immer wieder neu die Bedeutung des Aufstrahlens Gottes. Das biblische „Siehe, da“ weist auf eine Tat Gottes hin, die plötzlich zu geschehen scheint und doch große Wirkung weit über diesen einen Moment hinaus zu wirken vermag. Um diese Zeit der religiösen Erfahrungswelt ständig wach zu halten, bedarf es einer Treue der Erinnerung. Durch das Gebet im Gegenüber von Gott findet die Beterin/der Beter erst ihre/ seine Identität. Gebet ist identitätsstiftend. In diesem Artikel wurde der Hauptakzent auf Gebetssprache gelegt. Es wurde darzustellen versucht, dass diese Form so verschieden sie von der Alltagssprache sein mag, alles andere als sinnlos ist. Sowohl die Begriffe „Gebet“, wie „Sprache“ sind Begriffe, die viele Bedeutungen haben können und jeder/jede kann darunter etwas anderes verstehen, je nach Vorverständnis. Doch konnte aufgewiesen werden, wie wichtig deren Eigenheiten mit ihren tiefen Bedeutungen sind.
The following article analyses the theory of language of prayer introduced by Richard Schaeffler, a German philosopher and theologian. The author of the article refers to the following writings by R. Schaeffler: „Das Gebet und das Argument. Zwei Weisen des Sprechens von Gott. Eine Einführung in die Theorie der religiösen Sprache“ (Prayer and argument. Two ways of talking about God. Introduction to the theory of religious language), „Kleine Sprachlehre des Gebets“ (On the language of prayer) and „Religionsphilosophie“ (The philosophy of religion). What he attempts to demonstrate is that, if we base on the Schaeffler’s inquiries, a statement, which is a prayer, is never senseless. Despite the fact that, as we can read in the preface, the statement does not function as a informational or motivational tool, it still serves as a lingual act, which sacramentally builds a relation between God and a human. Schaeffler shows the unique nature of religious language, he especially seeks for examples in psalms and the Magnificat. He emphasizes the self-awareness of a praying man, as exemplified by Mary. Her example allows us to see how we can express ourselves through praying, and how we refer to prayer’s addressee in the context of our own existence. Prayer has existed for centuries and binds more and more people into a community. The community has been sustaining the tradition through passing down the words of the same prayer. In the tradition in question the past and the present are combined which guarantees its lasting. The common language of prayer, e.g psalms or the Our Father, is an important factor which allows the community to last and develop. God has been recognized for centuries as the one and the same. People find Him over and over again in the changing historical periods. The evangelical texts tell about particular events (e.g. calming the storm, Mt 8, 23–25), one-time acts of God, still having influence in subsequent periods and changing people’s lives. To sustain the religious world of experiences alive being faithful to memory is required. Only through prayer, in contact with God, a praying man can find and create his own awareness. What has been greatly emphasized in the article is the language of prayer. The author attempts to show that this language, no matter how different from everyday language, certainly has its own sense. The lexemes prayer and language have many meanings and everyone can understand them differently, depending on the knowledge and experience gained. What has been made evident here is how important the deep meanings of these lexemes truly are.

A packing of a graph G is a subset P of the vertex set of G such that the closed neighborhoods of any two distinct vertices of P do not intersect. We study graphs with a unique packing of the maximum cardinality. We present several general properties for such graphs. These properties are used to characterize the trees with a unique maximum packing. Two characterizations are presented where one of them is inductive based on five operations.

The paper presents and discusses 22 examples of artist’s books by Cracow-based artists associated with the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts. All the presented items were showcased in One-Book Gallery and enjoy a special place in the Main Library of the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow.

An $r$-maximum $k$-edge-coloring of $G$ is a $k$-edge-coloring of $G$ having a property that for every vertex $v$ of degree $d_G(v) = d, d \ge r$, the maximum color, that is present at vertex $v$, occurs at $v$ exactly $r$ times. The $r$-maximum index $ \chi_r^′ (G) $ is defined to be the minimum number $k$ of colors needed for an $r$-maximum $k$-edge-coloring of graph $G$. In this paper we show that $ \chi_r^′ (G) \le 3 $ for any nontrivial connected graph $G$ and $ r = 1$ or 2. The bound 3 is tight. All graphs $G$ with $ \chi_1^' (G) =i $, $i = 1, 2, 3$ are characterized. The precise value of the $r$-maximum index, $ r \ge 1 $, is determined for trees and complete graphs.
