    Artykuł prezentuje problematykę identyfikacji i likwidacji niewybuchów broni podwodnej z okresu II WŚ zalegających na dnie Zatoki Gdańskiej, które stanowią zagrożenie dla bezpieczeństwa żeglugi, transportu morskiego oraz działalności ludzkiej na morzu. Artykuł zawiera metodykę określania stref niebezpiecznych (zagrożenia) oraz wybrane aspekty jego likwidacji przez siły Marynarki Wojennej.
    The article presents various aspects of neutralization dangerous objects, especially unexploded ordnance (UXO), found on Gdańska Bay seabed. The underwater unexploded ordnance still, after over 70 years make serious danger to maritime shipping, transportation and human activity at sea. The article describes the methodology for determine danger zone (safety area) in case of controlled or acci-dental detonation as well as describes UXO liquidation procedures. The research problem considered by author in the paper was to assess the scale of threat from UUXO to maritime shipping (ships and vessels), ashore construc-tion (piers and breakwaters and other port facilities).

    Opis:
    The proposal of a system for the safe recovery of unexploded ordnance (UXO), chemical weapons (CW) and chemical warfare agents (CWA) dumped at sea mainly after WWI and WWII is described in this work. The proposed solution addresses the tasks required to neutralise thousands of tons of dumped material and the currently available solutions and proposed ideas. Requirements concerning the features of a recovery system are defined and scrutinised, these being intended to ensure the safety of this phase of the UXO/CW neutralisation process. To meet this requirement, the concept of a remotely operated, two-component working size underwater vehicle is proposed, supplemented by a properly sized and outfitted surface platform that is an important part of the recovery system. Finally, the basic components of the proposed system configuration are characterised, together with their functions during the recovery of dangerous CWA-related objects.

    Opis:
    In the article principles, pertaining to the safety of transport for explosives and unexploded ordnance of military origin and procedures that guarantee maximal effectiveness of the process of their neutralization, are presented. Since the end of the 2nd World War operations of neutralizing unexploded ordnance (UXO) of that era that still lie in ports, roadsteads and coastal areas are continuously conducted. During that war the Polish coast was one of the major battlegrounds and till now unexploded ordnance are found either on the sea bed or along the coast. Various analyses state that searching the sea and the coastline for unexploded ordnance is a task still to be carried out in the foreseeable future.

    Artykuł jest próbą prezentacji zagrożeń bezpieczeństwa ludności cywilnej wynikających z zaminowania terytorium Ukrainy w trakcie działań wojennych związanych z atakiem na ten kraj wojsk Federacji Rosyjskiej (FR). Zaminowanie Ukrainy spowodowane jest zarówno poprzez: stosowanie na masową skalę środków minersko-zaporowych wykorzystywanych do budowy klasycznych pól minowych (zarówno przeciwpancernych jak i przeciwpiechotnych), powszechne wykorzystanie w działaniach bojowych improwizowanych urządzeń wybuchowych (z ang. Improvised Explosive Device - IED), różnego rodzaju niewybuchy i niewypały oraz inne przedmioty wybuchowe i niebezpieczne. Autor artykułu opisuje środki walki stosowane w trakcie walk na terytorium Ukrainy, których użycie przyczynia się do zanieczyszczenia terenu i powoduje śmiertelne zagrożenie dla ludności cywilnej. Prezentuje także zadania realizowane przez służby państwowe Ukrainy w celu rozminowania terytorium tego kraju, aby jak najszybciej zneutralizować zagrożenia generowane przez przedmioty wybuchowe i niebezpieczne pochodzenia wojskowego i umożliwić ludności cywilnej powrót do normalnego, bezpiecznego życia. W końcowej części artykułu, autor prezentuje polski system realizacji oczyszczania terytorium kraju z przedmiotów wybuchowych i niebezpiecznych.
    The article is an attempt to present the threats to the security of the civilian population resulting from the mining of the territory of Ukraine during military operations related to the attack on this country by the troops of the Russian Federation (FR). Mining in Ukraine is caused both by: the massive use of mine-barrage measures used to build classic minefields (both anti-tank and anti-personnel minefields), the widespread use of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in combat operations, various types of unexploded ordnance and other explosive and dangerous items. The author of the article describes the means of combat used during the fighting on the territory of Ukraine, the use of which contributes to the contamination of the area and causes a deadly threat to the civilian population. It also presents the tasks carried out by the state services of Ukraine in order to clear the territory of this country in order to neutralize the threats generated by explosive and dangerous items of military origin as soon as possible and to enable the civilian population to return to a normal, safe life. In the final part of the article, the author presents the Polish implementation system clearing the territory of the country from explosive and dangerous objects.
